• Pollution characteristics of PAHs and PBDEs in urban road dust were revealed. • PAHs came from petroleum, petroleum combustion, and biomass/coal combustion. • BDE209 was major PBDE congener, and deca-BDE was primary PBDEs source. • Children showed higher health risk to PAHs and PBDEs in urban road dust. Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) and polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs) in urban road dust from Tianjin, the largest industrial and commercial city in Northern China, were monitored to assess health risks to local people. The ∑ 16 PAHs ranged 696–7229 ng/g dry weight (dw) with a mean level of 2673 ± 1313 ng/g dw. Ace showed the highest value, and the dominant PAH was 4-ring. The ∑ 16 PBDEs displayed 53.5–214 ng/g dw with a mean value of 95.3 ± 32.1 ng/g dw. BDE209 was the dominating PBDE congener. Petroleum, petroleum combustion, and biomass/coal combustion were major sources of PAHs. Deca-BDE (BDE209) was the main source of PBDEs, while lower brominated PBDEs mainly originated from the degradation of higher brominated PBDEs. Exposure pathways to PAHs in both children and adults were revealed to be dermal contact > ingestion > inhalation. The total carcinogenic risk (CR) of PAHs was a little higher than 10−6, indicating that PAHs have certain CR to humans. The non-cancer hazard index (HI) suggested PBDEs posed no adverse health effects to people. Overall, PAHs and PBDEs posed higher health risks to children than adults. • The present study is a continuation of a previous study, but it differs from the previous. In contrast to the previous study, which analysed various factors, the present study employs a comprehensive analysis and provides more relevant results. • A controlled experiment found that limited improvisation increased students' creativity in a more beneficial and fair way. • The creation of an original piece of art enables the link between creative thinking and innovative thinking. • Dance-based limited improvisation is an excellent means to develop the link between innovative and creative thinking. • Educational policies are suggested based on the results of the study. Research on creative thinking and innovative thinking has received scholarly attention, but a singular type of thinking mainly was conducted without a clear definition of the two. The creative and innovative thinking ability of choreographers positively correlates with the quality of dance creation. Improvisational dance has a creative connotation due to its randomness and uncertainty and is, therefore, it is an essential practice for evaluating dancers' creativity. The cultivation of creativity through improvisation and the creative and innovative thinking it embodies has been widely researched. The specific mode of thinking in dance creation is dominated by image thinking and supplemented by abstract thinking. Improvisational dance also follows a specific mode of thinking for dance. Creative thinking is an original nature of thinking that emphasises originality, divergence and appropriateness, belongs to image thinking. Innovation thinking is a kind of regenerative thinking based on the application and popularisation of new technologies and products, which emphasises both social and economic benefits, and which aims to add value in terms of value addition; innovation thinking is part of abstract thinking. The theories of the linkage between creative and innovative thinking have been put forward, where the two ways of thinking are intertwined and linked in the actual thinking process, with the product as the linking node. However, the linkage between creative thinking and innovative thinking is only theoretical, with a lack of empirical research. This study takes innovation and creativity as the research perspective. It establishes a limited improvisation dance group and an unlimited improvisation dance group to explore the difference between different improvisation forms on improving innovative and creative ability and providing the optimal choice for developing creative thinking and innovative thinking linkage ability through empirical research. The experimental data indicate that the different forms of improvisation in both groups positively affect innovative and creative ability, but limited improvisation has a slightly more significant effect. Although unlimited improvisation also promotes the development of innovative and creative ability, there is also the potential to hinder innovative and creative ability. As a result of the study, limited improvisation dance is the optimal choice for developing the ability to link creative thinking and innovative thinking. Urban lighting system is an important part of urban space service functions. With the continuous advancement of sustainable development goals, governments of various countries are gradually paying attention to the energy, social, economic and environmental benefits of urban lighting systems, and promote the use of LED lighting to replace HPS lamp lighting to save urban energy consumption. In this study, we used the glimmer imager data of SDGSAT-1 launched in 2021, combined with the streetlight dataset of the District of Columbia, to establish a classification model for distinguishing LED lights from HPS lamps, with an overall recognition accuracy of 80.3% and the kappa coefficient is 0.603. Based on this model, we identify light types in the central cities of China's three urban agglomerations: Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen, and describe their lighting composition and spatial distribution patterns. Additionally, we make a preliminary estimate of the money and electricity consumption saved by lighting renovations, and analyzed the impact of urban lighting changes on public perception. This study combines SDGSAT-1 data to propose a training model in urban lighting classification and applies it to a wide range of urban, the results of which help to provide data to support the implementation of SDG7. • A model for identifying LED lights and HPS lamps. • Obtained and analyzed the light type composition of four central cities in China. • The economic and social effects are analyzed.
