Abstract

• A new cost function is exploited. • The guaranteed cost control problem for T-S fuzzy NCSs with multiple quantizations is investigated. • An additional nonlinear term is employed in the control scheme. This paper researches the robust guaranteed cost (GC) control problem for a class of networked Takagi–Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy systems with local nonlinear segments and multiple quantizations, where the multiple quantizations mean that both the control input and the state are quantized through diverse dynamic quantizers. Three aspects are taken into account to perform the present study in depth. Firstly, the multiple quantizations case is investigated. Second, a novel cost function is exploited to perform the GC analysis issue, which consists of the quantized state and quantized control input. At last, a new control scheme is developed to fulfill the design of GC controller, where an additional nonlinear term is also employed besides the quantized state. By introducing auxiliary scalars and matrices, new conditions with regard to designing the dynamic quantizers and robust GC controllers are derived, which are expressed as a set of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). 32. Relaxed criteria on admissibility analysis for singular Markovian jump systems with time delay.

Abstract

This article studies the problem of admissibility analysis for singular Markovian jump systems with time delay. Without introducing more variables, an augmented Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional (LKF) is presented, which does not require all matrices to satisfy the positive definite constraint. Inspired by free-matrix-based inequality, an improved version is proposed to obtain more accurate estimation of the integral term. Based on the novel LKF and the improved inequality, some relaxed stochastic admissibility criteria are proposed, which are less conservative. Abstract

This paper aims at proposing the sliding mode control method based on event-triggered scheme for networked control systems with periodic denial-of-service (DoS) attacks in the network environment. Firstly, considering the possible security problem in open communication networks, an event-triggered strategy ensuring the security of communication links under DoS attacks is designed, which can weaken the adverse impact of jamming signals in communication while providing benefits in improving resource utilization. Secondly, combined with the event-triggered control strategy, by aid of constructing the sliding surface function, the sliding mode dynamics is deduced, and the stability criterion with disturbance attenuation performance in H ∞ sense is established by an improved inequality technique. On this basis, an control law is designed, which ensures the reachability of the sliding mode surface. Finally, the effectiveness of the control strategy is proved by a numerical example and an example of an inverted pendulum on a cart. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
