The ability to provide precise orbit prediction of Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) satellites is essential in a wide range of applications in space geodesy and Earth sciences, including near real-time and real-time GNSS applications, forming broadcast ephemerides, or supporting Satellite Laser Ranging stations in tracking. In this study, we evaluate the impact of orbit modeling strategies on the accuracy of orbit predictions on short (one-day), and long (multi-day) time scales, focusing on the selection of the optimal approach for handling solar radiation pressure (SRP), the effects of including pseudo-stochastic parameters, and the impact of the arc length used for the initial orbit fit. The analysis includes 300 days of predictions in 2021 and the satellites belonging to the GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, BeiDou-3, (BDS-3), and QZSS constellations. Fitting an initial 2-day orbit arc is the optimal solution for all analyzed navigation satellite constellations. When official satellite construction metadata are available, e.g. for Galileo/QZSS, the hybrid strategy of combining both empirical and physical models, i.e. the extended Empirical CODE Orbit Model (ECOM2) with box-wing models, leads to the best results. Otherwise, using only the ECOM2 is a better choice. Finally, the results indicate that for all navigation satellites, the introduction of pseudo-stochastic parameters deteriorates the prediction quality. When using the optimal prediction strategy, the 95th percentiles of the position errors after the 1st/4th/9th day of prediction are equal to 0.09/0.93/4.52, 0.22/1.71/9.69, 0.20/2.19/11.30, 0.23/1.80/9.39, 0.23/2.28/7.78m for GPS-IIF, Galileo FOC, GLONASS-M, BDS-3 CAST, and QZSS, respectively. • Optimize GNSS orbit prediction quality for up to nine days. • Handling of solar radiation pressure depends on the satellite type. • Fitting an initial 2-day orbit arc is the optimal solution for navigation satellites. • Pseudo-stochastic orbit parameters deteriorate prediction quality. Communal coping may benefit caregivers, but most communal coping research focuses on dyads. Using an egocentric network design, we examine caregivers' we-talk—a linguistic marker of shared responsibility—and caregiver reports of 1) network member involvement in collaborative care roles and 2) met/unmet expectations across typically developing and rare disease contexts. We-talk was linked to involvement in direct care and support, but links of we-talk to decision-making varied based on network member closeness; we-talk was linked to meeting expectations for decision-making only. There were no differences across context, suggesting shared responsibility is linked to collaborative roles across caregiving contexts. • Caregiver communal language is related to social network involvement in caregiving. • Communal language (we-talk) was linked to involvement in direct care and support. • Links of we-talk to decision-making varied by network member closeness. • Only expectations for decision-making were met when caregivers used we-talk. • Findings generalized across rare disease and typically developing caregiving. GFRAL-expressing neurons actuate aversion and nausea, are targets for obesity treatment, and may mediate metformin effects by long-term GDF15-GFRAL agonism. Whether GFRAL+ neurons acutely regulate glucose and energy homeostasis is, however, underexplored. Here, we report that cell-specific activation of GFRAL+ neurons using a variety of techniques causes a torpor-like state, including hypothermia, the release of stress hormones, a shift from glucose to lipid oxidation, and impaired insulin sensitivity, glucose tolerance, and skeletal muscle glucose uptake but augmented glucose uptake in visceral fat. Metabolomic analysis of blood and transcriptomics of muscle and fat indicate alterations in ketogenesis, insulin signaling, adipose tissue differentiation and mitogenesis, and energy fluxes. Our findings indicate that acute GFRAL+ neuron activation induces endocrine and gluco- and thermoregulatory responses associated with nausea and torpor. While chronic activation of GFRAL signaling promotes weight loss in obesity, these results show that acute activation of GFRAL+ neurons causes hypothermia and hyperglycemia. The experience sampling method (ESM) is a structured diary technique, which is used to assess thoughts, mood and appraise subjective experiences in daily life. It has been recognized as a useful tool for understanding the characteristics, dynamics, and underlying mechanisms of prodromal symptoms of psychosis. The present systematic review aimed to provide a qualitative synthesis of findings provided by the ESM studies conducted in people with psychosis risk states. A systematic review of the MEDLINE, ERIC, Academic Search Ultimate, and Health Source: Nursing/Academic Edition databases, utilizing search terms related to the ESM and the risk of psychosis was conducted. Out of 1069 publication records identified, 77 studies met the inclusion criteria for the review. Data were synthesized around the following topics: 1) assessment of symptoms dynamics and social functioning; 2) assessment of the mechanisms contributing to the emergence of psychotic experiences and 3) assessment of stress sensitivity. The studies have shown that negative emotions are associated with subsequent development of paranoia. The tendency to draw hasty conclusions, aberrant salience, self-esteem, and emotion regulation were the most frequently reported mechanisms associated with the emergence of psychotic experiences. Studies using the ESM also provided evidence for the role of stress sensitivity, in the development of psychotic symptoms. The ESM has widely been applied to studies investigating psychosis risk states, using a variety of protocols. Currently used antipsychotics are characterized by multireceptor mode of action. While antagonism of dopamine D 2 receptors is responsible for the alleviation of “positive” symptoms of schizophrenia and the effects at other, particularly serotonergic receptors are necessary for their additional therapeutic effects, there is no consensus regarding an “ideal” target engagement. Here, a detailed SAR analysis in a series of 45 novel azinesulfonamides of cyclic amine derivatives, involving the aryl-piperazine/piperidine pharmacophore, central alicyclic amine and azinesulfonamide groups has led to the selection of ( S )-4-((2-(2-(4-(benzo[ b ]thiophen-4-yl)piperazin-1-yl)ethyl)pyrrolidin-1-yl)sulfonyl)isoquinoline ( 62 ). The polypharmacology profile of 62 , characterized by partial 5-HT 1A R agonism, 5-HT 2A /5-HT 7 /D 2 /D 3 R antagonism, and blockade of SERT, reduced the “positive”-like, and “negative”-like symptoms of psychoses. Compound 62 produced no catalepsy, demonstrated a low hyperprolactinemia liability and displayed pro-cognitive effects in the novel object recognition task and attentional set-shifting test. While association of in vitro features with the promising in vivo profile of 62 is still not fully established, its clinical efficacy should be verified in further stages of development.
