In todays' world, utilising technology and adopting sustainability in small and medium business may benefit stakeholders while reducing adverse environmental effects. For SMEs to succeed, economic and environmental sustainability are crucial, particularly when using big data analytics to increase stakeholder satisfaction. This study intends to investigate the how the critical technological success factors of big data analytics help in achieving stakeholder satisfaction using environmental and economical sustainability. To analyse the data gathered from 324 SMEs, the study uses a quantitative research tool called structural equation modelling (SEM). A survey questionnaire created to examine the relevant factors was used to gather the sample data. According to the study's findings, stakeholder satisfaction is significantly impacted favourably by both environmental and economic sustainability. The results show that in order to increase stakeholder satisfaction, SMEs must implement sustainable practises and make use of technical advancements like big data analytics. For policymakers, business professionals, and academic researchers interested in how sustainability and big data analytics are used in SMEs, the study's findings are extremely insightful. As the adoption of distributed and renewable energy resources helps consumers evolve into prosumers who generate and trade their own energy, optimizing distributed renewable energy resources, electric vehicles, and energy storage in smart residential complexes is crucial to enhance satisfaction and capitalize on their potential for environmental and economic benefits. Nonetheless, limited progress has been made to quantify the impact of prosumer and energy manager preferences and the integrated socio-economic-environmental dynamics on energy scheduling and stakeholder satisfaction within smart communities. This study aims to overcome this challenge by proposing a socio-economic-environmental optimization model based on a preference-oriented management approach, which quantifies the impact of energy scheduling on stakeholder satisfaction in smart communities. The model inputs include infrastructure configurations, energy consumption patterns, and weather data. The simulation method includes the application of deep learning and System Advisor Model software in predicting weather conditions and photovoltaic and wind turbine systems energy generation. The simulation results are then imported as parameters in GAMS software to optimize the stakeholder satisfaction using CPLEX solver. Quantitative results show that with the simultaneous use of electric vehicles and energy exchange between energy communities, the highest level of satisfaction of the stakeholders in the smart grid including energy communities has been achieved at hour 24 and at the rate of 0.99 per-unit. The model reveals notable enhancements in stakeholder satisfaction, particularly through the integration of electric vehicles and energy trading in smart grids. It underscores the critical impact of aligning renewable energy strategies with prosumer socio-economic-environmental preferences, offering valuable insights for energy managers, policymakers, and community planners in fostering efficient, community-oriented smart grid systems. Peripheral intravenous (PIV) cannulation needed for pediatric procedural sedation (PPS) is a common source of stress for patients and families. The goal of this project is to investigate the perceived effectiveness of nitrous oxide (N 2 O) in reducing anxiety and pain associated with PIV cannulation for PPS by various stakeholders. N 2 O was used as an adjunct to local anesthesia and child life intervention to reduce the anxiety and pain associated with PIV placement before PPS. N 2 O use was at the discretion of physician. Candidates included patients who were anxious or fearful about PIV placement or patients who had a failed prior PIV cannulation attempt without N 2 O. At the completion of the procedure, a survey was administered to determine stakeholder satisfaction with N 2 O for PIV cannulation. A total of 393 N 2 O sedations for PIV cannulation were identified. Overall, procedure success was 96.2%. Most stakeholders reported that they were very satisfied: physicians—341/382 (89.3%), nurses—350/380 (92.1%), parents—347/383 (90.6%), and patients—331/377 (87.8%). Overall patient-parent agreement about N 2 O satisfaction was 94.1%. The most common adverse events (AEs) seen were dysphoria—11/393 (2.8%) and vomiting—5/393 (1.3%). None of the patients required prolonged stay for AE. N 2 O can be successfully used for PIV cannulation for PPS without clinically significant AE and has a high degree of satisfaction among the stakeholders. N 2 O should be considered as a method to reduce anxiety and pain in patients requiring PIV cannulation and those subjected to repeated procedures. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Abstract: In spite of the significant amount of work that has been conducted to investigate the impact of environmental proactivity on firm financial performance, limited research has focused on other firm performance outcomes such as operational performance and stakeholder satisfaction. The roles played by interacting and mediating constructs have not been addressed adequately in the environmental proactivity/firm performance literature. Drawing on stakeholder theory and the resource-based view of the firm, this study on 291 firms in Malaysia has hypothesized that environmental proactivity is positively related to (1) operational performance, (2) organizational learning, (3) environmental performance, (4) stakeholder satisfaction and (5) financial performance. The study has also hypothesized that the types of technologies deployed to address environmental issues moderates the relationship between environmental proactivity and operational performance, whilst environmental performance mediates the relationship between environmental proactivity and stakeholder satisfaction, which in turn mediates the relationship between environmental proactivity and financial performance. Using structural equation modeling (SEM) for the data analysis, findings indicate that environmental proactivity is positively related to operational performance, organizational learning, environmental performance, stakeholder satisfaction and financial performance. Significantly, the mediating role of stakeholder satisfaction is also supported by the data even though the mediating role of environmental performance and the moderating role of types of technologies are not supported by findings. Abstract: The purpose of this study was to identify project satisfaction-leveraging tasks and common characteristics associated with these critical tasks. To address the primary aim, a survey was conducted to determine correlations between task-level automation adoption and project satisfaction from the perspectives of various types of project stakeholders. Identification of project satisfaction-leveraging tasks is employed as a way to gain greater understanding of the connections. Also, this study explores the links between automation utilization and project satisfaction in further detail. Task characteristics are investigated as an additional basis for gaining deeper insights into how automation technology usage may impact project satisfaction. A second survey was used to collect needed data from industry professionals. The analyses suggest that degrees of automation used in executing the project satisfaction-leveraging tasks may be positively related to project stakeholder satisfaction. The results also indicate that information and data intensive and management-related characteristics may be associated with overall project stakeholder satisfaction. [Copyright &y& Elsevier]
