The Northern Endurance Partnership (NEP) CO2 pipeline in North England is expected to reach financial close by the end of the year. The £4 billion debt package has received strong commitment from the lending community, but the impending election has delayed the deal. Societe Generale is leading the process as the financial adviser for the sponsor consortium, which includes BP, Equinor, and TotalEnergies. The NEP project is separate from the Net Zero Teesside Power (NZT Power) project but is closely aligned with it. The Humber CO2 pipelines will connect to the Endurance storage site and nearby expansion CO2 stores, reducing emissions from sites across Yorkshire and Lincolnshire. [Extracted from the article]
