The article provides an overview of the band Trigger, a rock and pop group from New York that was active in the late 1970s. They gained a dedicated fan base and released their debut album, "Trigger Treat," in 1975. The band worked with producers to refine their sound and recorded songs at the Record Plant studios. Trigger signed with Casablanca Records in the late 1970s and released a self-titled album in 1978, which received positive reviews. However, due to Casablanca's focus on a movie project, the band did not receive adequate promotion and was ultimately abandoned by the label. Despite this setback, Trigger continued to perform and released another single in 1980 before disbanding in 1985. Their album has since gained a cult following and was reissued in 2011.
