The Sars-Cov-2 pandemic has produced a change in the quality of life of people, both directly and indirectly involved by the virus, and in particular, on individuals belonging to the most vulnerable groups of the population. In the development of the pandemic, the local, public and Third Sector assistance services have been called to experiment in the name of innovation to respond to the needs deriving from the emergency. As is well known, this has generated unprecedented socio-economic and health fractures. These conditions have highlighted the need for scholars, and the Italian Society of Sociology of Health (SISS), to analyze the phenomenon of social fragility at the time of Covid-19 through national research. This article constitutes a framework of the research, conducted with a qualitative method, on two provinces of Southern Italy, that of Caserta and Frosinone. Copyright © FrancoAngeli
