Abstract

The article discusses a study which examines the bathymetry and outlet glacier dynamics at the Upernavik Isfjord and Upernavik Isstrøm in North-West Greenland. Topics discussed include the four main ice streams located at the Upernavik Isfjord and Upernavik Isstrøm, glacier retreat and climatic changes, and the role of fjord bathymetry, glacier configuration and climate in the outlet glacier dynamics.
