Abstract

The article presents a case study of a 83-year-old patient who was diagnosed with benign tracheoesophageal fistula (TEF). It states that the patient was treated with Amplatzer septal occluder (ASO), a cardiac septal occluder. It mentions that the case was a failure on the repair of TEF through ASO wherein fistula orifice was enlarged after two months.
