This panel was meant to initiate a series of similar encounters to be organized during the Société d’Études Anglaises Contemporaines’ conferences and workshops to come. This first panel gave the participants the occasion to embrace a broad spectrum of critical issues ranging from New Modernist studies to ‘world literature’.
