Objective. By conducting a systematic review of the efficacy of acupoint application on children with asthma. Methods. We searched Chinese databases (CNKI, VIP, and Wanfang) and English databases (PubMed, Embase, and Cochrane Library) for studies from the establishment of the database to October 2021. The included literature studies were randomized control studies investigating the treatment of asthma in children by acupoint application. The primary outcomes included the cure rate, the resolution time of cough, and the resolution time of wheezing. The secondary outcomes included pulmonary function and interleukins. Stata 15 and RevMan 5.4 were used to analyze the extracted data. Results. A total of 24 related studies were included containing 2716 cases. The meta-analysis showed that TCM group was superior to control group in terms of cure rate, pulmonary function (FEV1), and resolution time of wheezing in children with asthma [RR = 1.26,95% (1.21,1.31), P < 0.05 ; SMD = 0.81, 95%CI (0.05,1.56), P < 0.05 ; WMD = −1.40, 95%CI (−1.75, −1.05), P < 0.05 ]. Conclusions. The present study shows that acupoint application is an effective treatment for children with asthma in China, especially in alleviating wheezing and improving quality of life. Currently, the world is facing two significant challenges: low-carbon development and overcapacity. Government departments must reexamine their development strategy of energy industry. Implementing environmental regulatory policies and technological innovation can help alleviate coal industry's overcapacity, while sustainable development requires joint actions of governments, enterprises, and the market. Based on the evolutionary game theory, this study constructs a tripartite evolutionary game model of local government, power industry, and coal enterprise. Under the premise of bounded rationality, the evolution path of each player in the game under the market incentive environmental regulation is analyzed, and the influence of the change of parameters of each player on the result is numerically simulated. The study found that strengthening environmental regulation by local governments is an inevitable choice to promote the transformation and upgrading of coal industry and power industry. In addition, reducing law enforcement costs and technological innovation costs are the fundamental point of the coordinated development of the three parties. Technological innovation in the power industry will reduce the probability of coal companies' choosing clean production strategies, while seeking low-cost clean production technology and financial support is the key to coal companies' optimization of production capacity. Curcumin is a type of plant polyphenol extracted from Curcuma longa L. rhizome, which demonstrates antitumor activity in breast cancer cells in vitro. To investigate the combined effect and possible mechanism of curcumin and glucose-gold nanoparticles (Glu-GNPs), the radiosensitivity of breast carcinoma xenografts was assessed in nude mice. MDA-MB-231 cells labeled with firefly luciferase were inoculated into the mammary fatty pads of nude mice to establish a transplantation tumor model of human breast cancer. The tumor-bearing mice were treated with different drugs (curcumin, Glu-GNPs, and cisplatin) for 3 weeks prior to radiotherapy. The body weights and tumor volumes of the mice were measured in regular intervals. Tumor bioluminescence intensity was determined in real-time using an in vivo bioluminescence imaging system to monitor tumor growth. Transplanted tumor tissue samples were taken for hematoxylin and eosin (HE) staining, and the expression of VEGF, HSP90, HIF-1α, and MMP9 was evaluated via reverse transcription-quantitative PCR or immunohistochemistry. The results revealed that the breast tumor-bearing nude mouse model was successfully established, as evidenced by a stable expression of luciferase. Curcumin inhibited the growth of tumors without causing significant weight loss in mice. Furthermore, additive inhibition was demonstrated when curcumin was administered in combination with Glu-GNPs and irradiation. Tumor bioluminescence intensity was decreased in the model group following curcumin, Glu-GNPs, and irradiation treatment. HE staining demonstrated that transplanted tumors were malignant, with necrotic tissue exhibited centrally. It was concluded that curcumin administered in combination with Glu-GNPs and X-ray irradiation could reduce the protein expression of VEGF, HSP90, HIF-1α, and MMP9 in tumor tissue when compared with the model group. Curcumin and Glu-GNPs administered with X-ray irradiation significantly inhibited tumor growth and induced radiosensitivity, which may be associated with the inhibition of angiogenesis in tumor tissue. Objective. QiDan DiHuang decoction (QDD) has been proven to have good efficacy in decreasing albuminuria levels, improving renal function, and inhibiting renal fibrosis in diabetic nephropathy (DN). However, the potential mechanism remains unclear. The purpose of this study was to explore the underlying mechanism of QDD for treating DN in vitro and in vivo. Methods. Db/db mice were treated with QDD or saline intragastrically for 12 weeks. Non-diabetic db/m mice were used as controls. Rat renal tubular epithelial cells (NRK-52E) were cultured in high glucose conditions. ATF4 siRNA was transfected into NRK-52E cells. Different indicators were detected via UPLC, RT-PCR, western blotting, cell viability assays and apoptosis, transmission electron microscopy, histology, and immunofluorescence staining. Results. Db/db mice experienced severe kidney damage and fibrosis, increased levels of PERK, eIF2α, and ATF4, and suppression of renal autophagy compared with db/m mice. The results showed a significant improvement in glucose intolerance, blood urea nitrogen, urine albumin, serum creatinine, and renal fibrosis in db/db mice with QDD treatment. Meanwhile, the application of QDD resulted in the downregulation of PERK, eIF2α, and ATF4 and the upregulation of autophagy in diabetic kidneys. In vitro, the exposure of NRK-52E cells to high glucose resulted in downregulation of the ratio of LC3-II/LC3-I and upregulation of P62, a reduction in the number of autophagosomes and upregulation of fibronectin (FN), collagen IV and TGF-β1 protein, which was reversed by QDD treatment through inhibiting ATF4 expression. Conclusions. Taken together, our results suggest that QDD effectively alleviates diabetic renal injuries and fibrosis by inhibiting the PERK-eIF2α-ATF4 pathway and promoting autophagy in diabetic nephropathy. Recently, with the development of the social economy, the incidence of infertility has increased year by year. With its complex etiology and diversified syndromes, infertility has become one of the most important diseases that plague the physical and mental health of women of childbearing age worldwide. Endometrial factors as an important part affecting female reproductive capacity, due to which induced repeated abortion and multiple uterine cavity operations occur, can destruct endometrium, failing to provide a normal implantation environment for zygote, thus resulting in infertility. Many patients failed to achieve expected results after receiving conventional treatments such as hormone therapy, assisted reproductive technology (ART), granulocyte colony-stimulating factor (G-CSF) therapy, and cell therapy, then turn to complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) therapies for help. Aiming at clarifying the effectiveness and mechanisms of CAM therapy in the treatment of infertility caused by endometrial factors, our paper systematically searched and studied present related literature on the PubMed, CNKI, and other databases, focusing on the aspects of clinical application and mechanism explorations and highlighting the therapeutic effects of Chinese herbal medicine (CHM), acupuncture, and moxibustion on such diseases. Moreover, this paper also introduces the CAM treatments of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) retention enema, neuromuscular electrical stimulation (NMES), photobiomodulation therapy, dietary intervention, and other measures for infertility caused by endometrial factors, in order to provide a reference for subsequent basic research and clinical work. Microtubules are essential components of the cytoskeleton that participate in a variety of cellular processes such as cell division and migration. In addition, there is a growing body of evidence implicating a role for microtubules in intracellular viral transport. In this study, we found that pharmacological disruption of microtubules remarkably blocked bovine immunodeficiency virus (BIV) movement from the cell periphery to the perinuclear region, a process known as retrograde transport. A similar effect was observed by inhibiting function of the microtubule-associated motor protein dynein. By yeast two-hybrid assay, we found that the capsid protein (CA) of BIV interacted with the dynein light-chain component LC8. Immunoprecipitation and GST-pulldown assays further demonstrated an interaction between CA and LC8 in mammalian cells. In addition, our data revealed LC8 as a linker between BIV particles and microtubules. Retrograde transport of BIV was significantly inhibited by knockdown of LC8 expression. Our findings present the first evidence that incoming BIV particles employ host microtubule/dynein machinery for transport towards the perinuclear region. In this paper, a multilayer graphene mixer with inductor‐capacitor resonators (LCR) and microstrip reflector stubs (MRS) loaded with direct‐current (DC) voltage bias is presented. As a multifunctional material, multilayer graphene is especially suitable for mixer because of its nonlinearity. The experimental and simulation results show that the effect of bias voltage on multilayer graphene is significant. When the bias voltage is applied, the mixer is converted from subharmonic mixer to fundamental wave mixer. The measured minimum conversion loss with DC‐load fundamental wave mixer is 18.9 dB at PLO = 16 dBm, fLO = 800 MHz, pRF = 0 dBm, fRF = 2 GHz which is about 1.2 dB lower than that DC‐free subharmonic mixer. Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is one of the most common malignancies and causes poor outcome. Dysregulation of long noncoding RNA (lncRNA) is involved in HCC. Upregulation of the lncRNA PCNAP1 has been reported to promote HBV-infectious HCC growth, but its clinical significance and underlying mechanisms in HCC development remain unclear. Here, we report that PCNAP1 expression is increased in both HBV-infectious and noninfectious HCC tissues compared with matched normal tissues, and its upregulation correlates with poor survival rates of HCC patients. Furthermore, we found that PCNAP1 promotes HCC cell proliferation through acting as a competitive endogenous RNA (ceRNA) to sponge miR-340-5p, which has been reported to directly inhibit ATF7 expression in HCC cells. Moreover, the PCNAP1/miR-340-5p/ATF7 signaling associates with the poor survival rates of HCC patients. Collectively, our findings suggest that the PCNAP1/miR-340-5p/ATF7 signaling may be a potential biomarker for the prognosis of HCC patients and a potential therapeutic target for HCC. Breast cancer stem cells are an important cause of radiotherapy resistance in the clinical treatment of breast cancer patients. How to target breast cancer stem cells is the key to improving the efficacy of breast cancer radiotherapy. We proposed for the first time that curcumin combined with glucose nanogold particles (Glu-GNPs) targeted breast cancer stem cells to reduce radiotherapy resistance, which can significantly enhance the apoptosis level of MCF-7 and MDA-MB-231 breast cancer stem-like cells (BCSCs) after radiotherapy and antiproliferation and colony-forming. Under simulated hypoxic conditions, curcumin combined with Glu-GNPs can significantly improve the ROS level of MCF-7 and MDA-MB-231 mammospheres; reduce the expression of HIF-1α and HSP90, thereby inhibiting the tumor cells' own stress ability; promote the apoptosis of tumor stem cells; and enhance the sensitivity of radiotherapy. The current results indicate that the combination of curcumin and Glu-GNPs has great potential to relieve tumor hypoxia and increase radiosensitivity on BCSCs, providing scientific research data for developing a novel radiosensitizer with high efficiency and low toxicity. Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and lung cancer, closely related to smoking, are major lung diseases affecting millions of individuals worldwide. The generated gas mixture of smoking is proved to contain about 4,500 components such as carbon monoxide, nicotine, oxidants, fine particulate matter, and aldehydes. These components were considered to be the principle factor driving the pathogenesis and progression of pulmonary disease. A large proportion of lung cancer patients showed a history of COPD, which demonstrated that there might be a close relationship between COPD and lung cancer. In the early stages of smoking, lung barrier provoked protective response and DNA repair are likely to suppress these changes to a certain extent. In the presence of long-term smoking exposure, these mechanisms seem to be malfunctioned and lead to disease progression. The infiltration of inflammatory cells to mucosa, submucosa, and glandular tissue caused by inhaled cigarette smoke is responsible for the destruction of matrix, blood supply shortage, and epithelial cell death. Conversely, cancer cells have the capacity to modulate the proliferation of epithelial cells and produce of new vascular networks. Comprehension understanding of mechanisms responsible for both pathologies is necessary for the prevention and treatment of COPD and lung cancer.
