This paper comprehensively reviews the literature related to disaster relief supply management in recent years by taking the perspectives of three critical decision-making issues, i.e., coordination issues, facility location decisions, and inventory decisions. For each decision-making issue discussed, we clarify the barriers of current research papers and identify the major challenges and critical factors that should be considered. In the following, we present the perspectives on the road of coordination between multiple relief actors, characterize the location decisions of relief facilities with a variety of optimization objectives, and emphasize the importance of relief supply varieties and critical factors in the decisions of disaster relief inventories. Auditory distance perception is important to virtual sound production and is affected by many factors. In order to investigate the effect of the visual cue on auditory distance perception and the best auditory distance perception in the existence of virtual sound source, experiments on the effect of visual cue on distance perception and the best auditory distance perception were conducted, respectively. The results of the first experiment showed that there was no obvious difference between the auditory distance perception in the existence and absence of virtual sound source, but visual cue can decrease the fluctuation of the perception. From the best auditory distance perception experiment, the attenuating SPL of the initial sound signal that made the subjects perceive the best auditory distance in the existence of virtual sound source at the distance of 4m, 6m, 8m, 10m, and 12m was measured, respectively, and compared the difference of attenuating SPL between experiment measurement and theoretical calculation. Microseismic monitoring technology was used to study the real-time evolution of rock mass damage generated by a working face as it approached a fault in Dongjiahe Coal Mine. The influence of vertical zoning of overlying strata on damage at the fault was analyzed. Numerical simulation using finite element method based on meso-statistical damage theory was used to investigate the nonlinear and nonuniform failure behaviour of the rock mass near the fault. The response of the fault stress to excavation activity and the rule of fault activation were examined. The results show that the fault damage has segmental characteristics. Microcracks are first generated at the fractured zone that is divided into lower, middle, and upper sections, located 30∼70 m, 120∼180 m, and 230∼280 m above the coal seam, respectively. There was also a segmentation phenomenon in the stress response of fault. The risk of fault activation was evaluated by using the ratio of shear stress to the maximum principal stress. When the working face was 260 m and 140 m away from the fault, the activation risk at the upper-middle and lower sections began to increase, respectively. The androgenic gland (AG) hormone is well known as a key peptide to induce masculinization and maintains male characteristic in crustaceans. In this study, a full‐length cDNA encoding insulin‐like androgenic gland hormone (EsIAG) was identified from the AG of the Chinese mitten crab Eriocheir sinensis. The full length of EsIAG cDNA contains 1,481 nucleotides, which encodes for a deduced protein of 151 amino acid residues. The predicted pre‐peptide is composed of a signal peptide of 19 amino acids (aa), A chain of 44 aa, B chain of 31 aa, and C peptide of 57 aa. Moreover, six conserved cysteine residues and a putative N‐linked glycosylated site were found in the deduced protein as reported in other crustaceans. Reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction and in situ hybridization analysis showed EsIAG was only expressed in the AG with especially high abundance during the mature stage of testis. Interestingly, a significantly higher expression level of EsIAG was also detected in precocious individuals than that in the normal grown ones, suggesting that the abnormally high expression of EsIAG might contribute to male precociousness in E. sinensis. Qi-deficiency (QX) is thought to promote the body’s susceptibility to disease, but the underlying mechanism through which this occurs is not clear. We surveyed the traditional Chinese medicine constitution (TCMC) of healthy college students to identify those that were PH (balanced TCMC constitution) and QX (unbalanced TCMC constitution). We then used high-throughput sequencing of the 16SrRNA V3-4 region in fecal microbiota samples to identify differences between those obtained from PH and QX individuals. Our results demonstrated that the alpha diversity of QX samples was significantly lower than that of PH samples (p < 0.05) and that beta diversity was remarkably different in QX and PH samples. Four and 122 bacterial taxa were significantly overrepresented in QX and PH groups, respectively. The genera Sphingobium, Clostridium, and Comamonas were enriched in the QX group and had a certain pathogenic role. The QX group also showed a statistically significant lack of probiotics and anti-inflammatory bacteria such as Bifidobacterium and Bdellovibrio. The functional potential of QX bacterial taxa was reduced in fatty acid metabolism and butanoate metabolism. We contend that the imbalanced intestinal microbiota in QX and the following functional changes in metabolism influence immunity and energy metabolism, which could increase susceptibility to disease. Background. Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) causes low fertility in females. Coptis chinensis (C. chinensis) is used to clear heat and dampness, purify fire, and detoxify in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). Although C. chinensis has demonstrated efficacy against PCOS in clinical practice, there are no available data regarding the bioactive components of C. chinensis, their targets, and molecular mechanisms underlying their effects. Methods and Results. Network pharmacology was used to analyze the bioactive components of C. chinensis, their targets, and signaling pathways underlying their effects. The TCM systems pharmacology database and analysis platform (TCMSP) was used to screen 14 effective active ingredients and 218 targets of C. chinensis. The GeneCards, OMIM, and PharmGkb databases were used to screen 3517 disease targets for PCOS, and 102 common targets of drugs and diseases were screened using R Cytoscape that was utilized to build a drug-active ingredient-disease target interaction network, and the STRING platform was utilized to construct a common target protein-protein interaction network, including 102 nodes and 221 edges. Key targets of C. chinensis for the treatment of PCOS included JUN, MAPK, IL6, CXCL8, FOS, and IL1B. A total of 123 gene ontology (GO) terms and 129 pathways were acquired by GO and KEGG enrichment analyses. The AGEs/RAGE, TNF, IL-17, MAPK, and HIF-1 signaling pathways were closely related to PCOS and may be the core pathways involved in PCOS. Schrodinger software was used to evaluate the interaction between active components and their targets and explore binding modes. Furthermore, based on the prediction of network pharmacology study, a mouse model of PCOS was established to evaluate the curative role and underlying mechanisms of C. chinensis. The results showed that C. chinensis treatment reversed histopathological damage of the ovary and also ameliorated the mRNA and protein expression levels of the predicted hub targets (MAPK1, CXCL8, IL-6, and IL-1β). These results indicated that WZYZP has a protective effect on spermatogenesis disorder, suggesting that it could be an alternative choice for male infertility therapy. Conclusions. This preliminary study verified the basic pharmacological effects and mechanisms of C. chinensis, a TCM, in the treatment of PCOS. These results indicate that the therapeutic effects of C. chinensis on PCOS may be achieved by regulating the expression of inflammatory factors. The abrupt rock-related hazards, such as landslide, rock burst, and collapse, seriously threaten the safety and service life of engineering works. Precursory information on critical transitions preceding sudden fracture is of great significance in rock mechanics and engineering. This study investigates the critical slowing down feature of acoustic emission (AE) signals and precursory indicators during the mode I fracture process of brittle rock. Cracked chevron notched Brazilian disc (CCNBD) specimens were utilized, accompanied by acoustic emission monitoring. The principle of critical slowing down was introduced to study AE count sequences, and the variance and autocorrelation coefficient versus loading time curves were analyzed. The results show critical slowing down phenomenon exists during mode I rock fracture. The variance and autocorrelation coefficient of AE counts grow significantly prior to rock fracture, and thus, the significant growth of variance and autocorrelation coefficient of AE signals can act as the precursory indicator of rock fracture. Compared to the autocorrelation coefficient, the precursors determined by the variance are more remarkable. The time interval between the precursory indicator using the critical slowing down theory and fracture moment ranges from 2% to 15% of the entire loading time. HongJing I (HJI), a traditional Chinese herbal formula, has been confirmed to be effective for the clinical treatment of erectile dysfunction (ED). However, the mechanism of action of HJI remains unclear. Here, we aimed to investigate the effect and underlying mechanisms of HJI against ED in a rat model of bilateral cavernous nerve injury (BCNI). Rats were divided into five groups: normal control (NC), BCNI-induced ED model (M), M + low-dose HJI (HL), M + medium-dose HJI (HM), and M + high-dose HJI (HH). All groups were treated with normal saline or the relevant drug for 28 consecutive days after inducing BCNI-ED. At the end of the treatment period, the intracavernous pressure (ICP) was recorded, and histological examination was conducted using Masson's trichrome staining. Immunofluorescence staining and western blotting were applied to detect the changes in fibrosis protein and Ras homolog A (RhoA), Rho-associated protein kinase 1 (ROCK1), and ROCK2 expression. We found that HJI effectively improved the ICP in the treatment groups. In addition, RhoA, ROCK1, and ROCK2 expression levels were increased upon BCNI-ED induction, and HJI successfully inhibited cavernosum fibrosis and the activation of RhoA/ROCK2 signaling. Overall, these results suggest that the effects of HJI in attenuating ED may be caused, at least in part, by the suppression of RhoA/ROCK2 signaling and alleviation of fibrosis. Objective. The study aims to systematically evaluate the clinical effect of gabapentin in the treatment of postherpetic neuralgia (PHN). Method. Data were retrieved electronically from PubMed, Embase, CNKI, the China Biomedical Database, and the Library of Clinical Database, beginning from the time of inception to April 2017, in order to collect data on randomized controlled trials (RCTs) of gabapentin and placebo in PHN treatment. Results. A total of 11 RCTs (2376 people) were retrieved. The gabapentin group reported significantly reduced pain intensity [MD=−0.91, 95% CI −1.32 to −0.51, P<0.00001] compared with the placebo group. Those treated with gabapentin also experienced significantly improved sleep quality [SMD=−0.44, 95% CI −0.66 to −0.23, P<0.0001], but were more likely to experience incidence of adverse events, such as somnolence, dizziness, and peripheral edema. Results of the subgroup analysis showed that the source of heterogeneity may be related to the formulations of the drug. Conclusion. Gabapentin can be used to effectively and safely treat PHN. Aims. Giant cell tumor of the bone (GCTB) is associated with considerable morbidity. As GCTB epidemiological data for China are limited, this study is aimed at describing the disease characteristics of GCTB in China and establishing the historical context for its treatment before recent advances in treatment options. Methods. The disease characteristics, treatment patterns, and local GCTB recurrence rate after primary surgery for GCTB were evaluated in this single-center, retrospective, noninterventional, observational study of patients treated for GCTB at Ji Shui Tan Hospital, Beijing, from 2009 to 2016 based on medical chart review. Patients with unmet need were defined as those whose surgical treatment was difficult or who had to undergo high-morbidity surgery. Results. Among the 668 patients with a primary GCTB diagnosis, 578 (86.5%) of target lesions were in the extremities, and 89 (13.3%) were in the pelvic or axial bone. Of these, 173 (25.9%) were characterized as having an unmet need. Almost all GCTB patients received surgical treatment at both primary diagnosis (666/668 (99.7%)) and last disease recurrence (196/200 (98.0%)). Additionally, about one-third of patients received nonsurgical treatment at primary diagnosis (205/668 (30.7%)) and disease recurrence (67/200 (33.5%)), with neoadjuvant therapy being the most common treatment. The rate of high-morbidity surgery increased for recurrent disease (65/200 (32.5%)) compared with primary diagnosis (111/668 (16.6%)). The 2-year cumulative incidence of postoperative disease recurrence was 29.2%, in line with rates observed in prior studies. Conclusion. Objective. QiDan DiHuang decoction (QDD) has been proven to have good efficacy in decreasing albuminuria levels, improving renal function, and inhibiting renal fibrosis in diabetic nephropathy (DN). However, the potential mechanism remains unclear. The purpose of this study was to explore the underlying mechanism of QDD for treating DN in vitro and in vivo. Methods. Db/db mice were treated with QDD or saline intragastrically for 12 weeks. Non-diabetic db/m mice were used as controls. Rat renal tubular epithelial cells (NRK-52E) were cultured in high glucose conditions. ATF4 siRNA was transfected into NRK-52E cells. Different indicators were detected via UPLC, RT-PCR, western blotting, cell viability assays and apoptosis, transmission electron microscopy, histology, and immunofluorescence staining. Results. Db/db mice experienced severe kidney damage and fibrosis, increased levels of PERK, eIF2α, and ATF4, and suppression of renal autophagy compared with db/m mice. The results showed a significant improvement in glucose intolerance, blood urea nitrogen, urine albumin, serum creatinine, and renal fibrosis in db/db mice with QDD treatment. Meanwhile, the application of QDD resulted in the downregulation of PERK, eIF2α, and ATF4 and the upregulation of autophagy in diabetic kidneys. In vitro, the exposure of NRK-52E cells to high glucose resulted in downregulation of the ratio of LC3-II/LC3-I and upregulation of P62, a reduction in the number of autophagosomes and upregulation of fibronectin (FN), collagen IV and TGF-β1 protein, which was reversed by QDD treatment through inhibiting ATF4 expression. Conclusions. Taken together, our results suggest that QDD effectively alleviates diabetic renal injuries and fibrosis by inhibiting the PERK-eIF2α-ATF4 pathway and promoting autophagy in diabetic nephropathy. Ethnopharmacological Relevance. Volatile oil is an important bioactive ingredient of Rhodiola tangutica (Maxim.) S.H. Fu, namely, R. tangutica in short. Previous studies have focused on its chemical composition. In our previous research, we found that the bioactive fraction of Rhodiola tangutica could significantly alleviate hypoxia-induced pulmonary hypertension (HPH) in rats. However, it remains unknown whether the volatile oil of Rhodiola tangutica (VORA) could alleviate HPH in rats. Aim of the Study. The main purpose of this study is to explore the effect as well as the corresponding mechanism of VORA among HPH rats, so as to provide evidences for the further exploration of aromatic substances of VORA. Materials and Methods. Seventy-five male Sprague-Dawley (SD) rats were separated into control (Ctr), hypoxia (Hyp), and Hyp+VORA treatment (100 mg/kg/d, 80 mg/kg/d, and 40 mg/kg/d) groups in random. To achieve the chronic hypoxia condition, rats were kept inside the hypobaric chamber with automatically adjusted inner pressure as well as oxygen content equal to those of 4500 m in altitude for 4 continuous weeks. After 4 weeks, the rats' physiological parameters were determined (mean pulmonary artery pressure (mPAP); right ventricular hypertrophy index (RVHI)). Based on hematoxylin and eosin (HE) staining and transmission electron microscope (TEM), morphological features of their lung tissues were also analyzed. Proliferation of pulmonary arterial smooth muscle cells (PASMCs) was detected by MTS Cell Proliferation Colorimetric assay. The levels of glutathione (GSH), malondialdehyde (MDA), and superoxide dismutase (SOD) in PASMCs were detected through corresponding kits, respectively. The protein levels in PASMCs and HPH rats were evaluated by Western blot (WB). Chemical components of VORA were detected through gas chromatography-mass spectrometer (GC-MS). Results. After induced by hypoxia for 4 weeks, the mPAP and RVHI levels were increased significantly in hypoxia group in contrast to the Ctr group, indicating the establishment of HPH rat model. The subsequent administration of VORA decreased the mPAP and RVHI level. The vascular wall thickness and lumen size were also decreased after treated by VORA compared with Hyp group. Meanwhile, VORA suppressed the proliferation and oxidant stress in PASMCs. Therefore, the effect of VORA on decreasing vascular wall thickening and lumen size could be related to its antiproliferation effect on PASMCs. In addition, compared to the Hyp group, VORA downregulated the ACE, AngII, and AT1R protein expressions but increased ACE2 and MAS protein expressions (P < 0.05). A total of 48 constituents in VORA were identified by GC-MS in comparison with reference standards as well as the reference pieces of literatures. Conclusions. HPH rat model as established based on the significant increased mPAP and RVHI. VORA presented a significant antihypoxia function plus an inhibiting effect on PASMC proliferation induced by hypoxia. Moreover, VORA treatment inhibited oxidative stress among PASMCs. With regard to the mechanism, VORA reduced ACE, AngII, and AT1R protein expressions but increased ACE2 and MAS protein expressions. With the rapid development of global economy, the industrial cluster has become the new trend of world economic development. So far, the industrial cluster mode with space as the main division has been formed. The cooperation of industrial clusters is dynamic. The industries in the cluster cooperate with each other for mutual benefit and win-win, occupying a place in the fierce market competition. In addition, the industrial cluster is also conducive to strengthen the international economic division of labor and points out the direction of regional industrial transfer. China is now in a critical period of economic development; the industrial cluster plays an important role in China's industrial transformation and economic development. At present, the most common regional development mode in China is industrial cluster. The emergence of industrial cluster accelerates the development of industrial regional economy and the balance of industrial layout. Industrial clusters occupy a key position in China's economic industry chain, and the development and change in industrial clusters will directly affect the development of the entire industrial chain. This study first simulates the evolution path of industrial cluster and then establishes the relevant data model. Finally, through repast simulation, it puts forward conclusions and suggestions according to the verification results. The construction of dynamic model can realize the simulation of industrial cluster theory. According to the simulation results, we can find that the ecosystem in different stages will produce different characteristics; the formation and evolution of industrial clusters are actually the epitome of market development. In this process, the government guidance and market regulation are needed to accelerate the formation of industrial cluster ecosystem and increase the scale of industrial cluster. The automatic detection and tracking of pedestrians under high-density conditions is a challenging task for both computer vision fields and pedestrian flow studies. Collecting pedestrian data is a fundamental task for the modeling and practical implementations of crowd management. Although there are many methods for detecting pedestrians, they may not be easily adopted in the high-density situations. Therefore, we utilized one emerging method based on the deep learning algorithm. Based on the top-view video data of some pedestrian flow experiments recorded by an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), we produce our own training datasets. We train the detection model by using Yolo v3, a very popular deep learning model among many available detection models in recent years. We find the detection results are good; e.g., the precisions, recalls, and F1 scores could be larger than 0.95 even when the pedestrian density is as high as 9.0 ped / m 2 . We think this approach could be used for the other pedestrian flow experiments or field data which have similar configurations and can also be useful for automatic crowd density estimation. Microseismic monitoring technology can start from the most initial stage of rock deformation and track and monitor the progressive failure process of rock mass from the fracture of rock blocks to the instability of rock mass. Thus, the scientific nature of monitoring work is greatly promoted, and the accuracy and advance of the prediction of engineering and geological disasters are improved. In this paper, the fracture and instability of rock can be analyzed by analyzing the microseismic signals produced by rock failure; The location of microseismic source can be determined by multipoint synchronous data acquisition to determine the time when each sensor (at least 5) receives microseismic signals; Combined with practical engineering experience for underground engineering in growth, heading tunnel, put forward only sensor arrangement to take mobile, follow the semienclosed layout network. Lily disease was first recorded in Synopsis of the Golden Chamber by Zhang Zhongjing. It is a disease of heart and lung internal heat by Yin deficiency, which belongs to the category of emotion disease in Chinese medicine. In recent years, researchers believe that lily disease and depression syndrome of Yin deficiency and internal heat have many similarities in etiology, pathogenesis, and clinical manifestations. This review summarizes the clinical symptoms, etiology, pathogenesis, and therapeutic medication of lily disease and modern Yin-deficient internal heat depression and discusses the relationship between them. Furthermore, the relationship between coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) and lily disease was discussed from the etiology, pathogenesis, and treatment. Summary: In order to improve the fuel economy of hybrid electric vehicles, a novel plug‐in power‐reflux hybrid electric vehicle powertrain equipped with an electromechanical control continuously variable transmission (EMCVT) is proposed in this study. The proposed structure, which combines the dynamic property of the planetary mechanism and regulating characteristics of the continuous speed ratio with EMCVT, can transmit power in two modes, namely power‐reflux mode and pure‐CVT mode, thus realizing the multistage design of the overall transmission system. Hence, it demonstrates a wider speed ratio variation range and higher transmission efficiency than the "Pathfinder‐like" parallel configuration with traditional electro‐hydraulic CVT (EHCVT). To take full advantage of its potential for fuel economy, the highest transmission efficiency of the system is taken as the optimization objective for the target speed ratio of the system. The optimization results are incorporated in the control strategy based on Pontryagin's minimum principle to simulate fuel consumption under the new European driving cycle (NEDC), highway fuel economy test (HWFET), and urban dynamometer driving schedule (UDDS). Hypoxia-induced pulmonary hypertension (HPH) is a severe condition associated with significant morbidity and mortality in people living at high altitude. Tsantan Sumtang, a traditional Tibetan medicine, has been routinely used for the treatment of cardiopyretic disease, as well as stenocardia. Interestingly, our previous research found that Tsantan Sumtang improved HPH in rats maintaining in a hypobaric chamber. We performed a series of experiments to test the indexes of vasoconstriction and vascular remodeling, the key pathophysiological characteristics of HPH. Our results showed that Tsantan Sumtang relaxed noradrenaline (NE)-precontracted rat pulmonary artery rings in a concentration-dependent manner in vitro. The PGI2-cAMP (prostaglandin I2-cyclic adenosine monophosphate) pathway, NO-cGMP (nitric oxide-cyclic guanosine monophosphate) pathway, and the opening of K+ channels (inward rectifier K+ channels, large conductance Ca2+-activated K+ channels, and voltage-dependent K+ channels) might play major roles in the vasorelaxation effect. In vivo, the administration of Tsantan Sumtang resulted in a substantial decrease in the rat mean pulmonary artery pressure (mPAP) and the right ventricular hypertrophy index (RVHI). The reduction of thickness of small pulmonary arterial wall and the WT% (the ratio of the vascular wall thickness to the vascular diameter) were observed. The smooth muscle muscularization of the arterials was alleviated by Tsantan Sumtang treatment at the same time. Tsantan Sumtang also reduced remodeling of pulmonary arterioles by suppressing the expression of proliferating cell nuclear antigen (PCNA), α-smooth muscle actin (α-SMA), cyclin D1, and cyclin-dependent kinase 4 (CDK4) through inhibition of p27Kip1 degradation. Radix Astragali (RA) herb with warm property and significant “tonifying qi” effects is indicated for the syndrome of internal cold due to Yang deficiency. The purpose of this research was to explore effects of Radix Astragali (RA) through PPAR signaling pathway on gene expression profiles related to energy metabolism in rats with the Yang-deficiency cold (YDC) syndrome, for identifying the pathological mechanism of Yang-deficiency cold (YDC) syndrome and the effects mechanism of RA. The results indicated that RA could significantly increase body weight (BM), cold and heat tendency (CT), overall temperature (OT), rectum temperature (RT), toe temperature (TT), energy intake (EI), and V(O2)/V(CO2) ratio (which indicates basal metabolism, BM) (P<0.05), enhancing the depressed metabolic function in YDC syndrome model rat. Our data also indicated differentially expressed genes (DEGs) related to energy metabolism involving lipids, carbohydrates, and amino acids metabolic process; the expression of CPT-1 and FABP4 (ap2) was improved; PPAR, Glycolysis, Wnt, cAMP, MAPK, AMPK, and fatty acid degradation signaling pathway may be related to energy metabolism. However, the Chinese herbal medicine RA plays a certain role in promoting the metabolism of substances and energy in rats by its warming and beneficial effect. Our results suggest that the mechanism underlying the function of RA may take effect through the regulation of PPAR signaling pathway and related gene expression. Lipids, carbohydrates, and amino acids metabolic process may be affected to adjust the reduced metabolic function in the model animals. In general, results indicate that RA could promote energy metabolism in rats with the YDC syndrome via PPAR signaling pathway regulating the expression of CPT-1 and FABP4 (ap2), which reflected the warm and qi tonifying properties of RA. The line-seru conversion is usually used to improve productivity, especially in volatile business environment. Due to the simplicity, most researches focused on line-pure seru system conversion. We summarize the two existing models (i.e., a biobjective model and a single-objective model) of line-pure system conversion and formulate the three other usually used single-objective models in an integrated framework by combining evaluated performances and constraints. Subsequently, we analyze the solution space features of line-pure seru system conversion by dividing the whole solution space into several subspaces according to the number of serus. We focus on investigating the features between Cmax (and TLH) and subspaces. Thirdly, according to the distinct features between Cmax (and TLH) and subspaces, we propose four effective algorithms to solve the four single-objective models, respectively. Objective. The aim of this study was to examine the efficacy and safety of pulsed radiofrequency (PRF) in the treatment of chronic migraine (CM) on cervical 2-3 posterior medial branches. Methods. This randomized, double-blind, and controlled clinical trial included 40 subjects with CM, who were randomly divided into two groups: treatment (treated by PRF) and sham (treated by sham treatment). Pain intensity, headache duration (days), the Migraine Disability Assessment Questionnaire (MIDAS), and aspirin dose taken by patients were evaluated at 1, 2, and 6 months after the intervention. Side effects were observed from the time of treatment and throughout the follow-up period. Results. During the follow-up, pain intensity, headache duration (days), disability score, and the analgesic dose were significantly improved in the treatment group compared to the sham group (P<0.001) and the baseline (P<0.001) at all measured time points after intervention. No serious complications were reported. Conclusion. PRF on the cervical 2-3 posterior medial branches could provide satisfactory efficacy in the treatment of CM without obvious adverse effects. Introduction To investigate the cardioprotective effect of Micro RNA-21 (miR-21) in murine myocardial infarction ( MI). Methods Forty C57 BL/6 male mice were divided into sham group, MI group, LV- GFP group, and miR-21 group. Mice in the MI group, LV- GFP group, and miR-21 group were subjected to MI by left anterior descending artery ( LAD) ligation, while chest was opened/closed without ligation in sham group. In MI group, expression of miR-21 in the MI area and its surrounding areas was detected at 1st, 2nd, and 4th week after experiment. Subsequently, lentivirus expressing miR-21 and lentivirus that did not express miR-21 were transfected into mice left ventricular cavity of miR-21 group and LV- GFP group, respectively. Cardiac function, MI size, miR-21 expression, collagen I level, fibronectin content, number of α- SMA-positive cells, number of apoptotic cells, apoptosis-related factors were compared between the three groups. Results Compared with sham group, miR-21 levels in MI group were significantly decreased in the 1st week and 2nd week, but were almost the same in the 4th week. Left ventricular fractional shortening ( LVFS) and left ventricular ejection fraction ( LVEF) in the miR-21 group improved compared to the LV- GFP group. In miR-21 group, myocardial infarct size reduced by 36.9% in comparison with LV- GFP group. Compared to sham group, miR-21 expression in the miR-21 group and LV- GFP group decreased significantly. In the miR-21 group, collagen I level, fibronectin content and number of α- SMA-positive cells of miR-21 decreased significantly compared to the LV- GFP group. The number of apoptotic cells in the MI areas of the miR-21 group was significantly less than the LV- GFP group. Compared with the LV- GFP group, Bcl-2 level and the ratio of Bcl-2 to Bax were significantly increased, and the levels of Bax and Caspase-3 decreased. The accidental fall is the major risk for elderly especially under unsupervised states. It is necessary to real-time monitor fall postures for elderly. This paper proposes the fall posture identifying scheme with wearable sensors including MPU6050 and flexible graphene/rubber. MPU6050 is located at the waist to monitor the attitude of the body with triaxial accelerometer and gyroscope. The graphene/rubber sensors are located at the knees to monitor the moving actions of the legs. A real-time fall postures identifying algorithm is proposed by the integration of triaxial accelerometer, tilt angles, and the bending angles from the graphene/rubber sensors. A volunteer is engaged to emulate elderly physical behaviors in performing four activities of daily living and six fall postures. Four basic fall down postures can be identified with MPU6050. Integrated with graphene/rubber sensors, two more fall postures are correctly identified by the proposed scheme. Test results show that the accuracy for activities of daily living detection is 93.5% and that for fall posture identifying is 90%. After the fall postures are identified, the proposed system transmits the fall posture to the smart phone carried by the elderly via Bluetooth.
