This paper presents a composite control algorithm for the radio telescope servo control system to address the target tracking and matched/mismatched disturbance suppression problems. The algorithm consists of the equivalent-input-disturbance (EID) approach and the optimal control method. An EID estimator is developed using the difference between the estimated output of the state observer and the measurement output and then the estimate of the EID is fed forward into the control input to reject the disturbance. A cost function with clear physical meaning is selected and the weighting parameters are adjusted for the optimal controller to improve tracking performance. Considering the nonminimum phase characteristics of the radio telescope system, the state observer gain is computed using the linear matrix inequality (LMI) method. The system stability is analyzed using the small gain theorem, and the linear quadratic regulator (LQR) control method is utilized to determine the state feedback gain. Finally, the composite controller is designed for an identified telescope model. Simulation results show that for the tracking performance, the settling time of proposed method is 1.13 s and reduces by about 0.32 s and 0.87 s than that of the ADRC controller and PI controller, respectively. For the antidisturbance performance, the RMS value and the maximum error of the proposed method are 0.0039 and 0.0128, which are 42.86% and 40.38% of the ADRC controller and 30.71% and 27.77% of the PI controller, respectively, which indicates that the proposed method has better control performance. As one of the most important organs of human beings, the eyes can receive external visual information and play an important role in perception. Therefore, the method of maintaining eye health is a problem that people pay attention to. Omental disease is one of the most serious microvascular complications in diabetic patients, and it is also the main cause of blindness in patients. The purpose of this article is to investigate the main factors that influence the prevalence of retinopathy in diabetic patients based on medical big data. In this article, a method for investigating the causes of the incidence of retinopathy in diabetic patients based on medical big data is proposed, and a questionnaire survey method and other methods are used for experimental investigation. Combining the data in the figure in the experiment in this article, it can be seen that among diabetic patients, the prevalence of diabetes in men is 12.4%, and the prevalence of diabetes in women is 8.4%. From the data in the figure, it can be known that the rate of retinopathy caused by various factors is between 5% and 7%, and the total prevalence of retinopathy is 47.5%. There are many factors affecting the prevalence of retinopathy in diabetic patients, such as the duration of diabetes, urinary albumin index, glycosylated hemoglobin index, and fasting blood glucose level; various factors lead to an increase in the prevalence of retinopathy in diabetic patients. The results show that there are many factors affecting the prevalence of retinopathy in diabetic patients, so patients should pay attention to exercise, control their diet, and prevent retinopathy. Background: Exosomal miR-29b reportedly plays a role during cancer metastasis. However, its exact function and underlying mechanism during pancreatic cancer (PC) have not been investigated.Methods: Exosomes from PC cells were prepared and identified. Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and confocal microscopy were used to examine structural characteristics of the exosomes and verify their internalization by human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs). The tube formation and migration abilities of HUVECs were detected. VEGF content was assessed by ELISA. GW4869 was used to suppress exosome release. Luciferase reporter assays were performed to verify the predicted interaction of miR-29b with ROBO1 and SRGAP2 mRNA.Results: Exosomal miRNA-29b was differentially expressed in the conditioned medium of PC cells. Exosomes from PC cells were verified by TEM and western blotting. Treatment with the exosomal inhibitor (GW4869) prevented an increase in miR-29b expression and recused the reduced VEGF expression and tube formation and migration abilities of HUVECs cocultured with BxPC3 and AsPC-1 cells that overexpressed miR-29b. Furthermore, the downregulation of ROBO1 and SRGAP2 in cocultured HUVECs was also reduced after additional treatment with GW4869. After incubation with miR-29b exosomes, HUVECs had lower VEGF concentrations and reduced migration and tube formation rates; however, those effects were eliminated by subsequent transfection with the miR-29b inhibitor. Luciferase reporter assays verified the interaction of miR-29b with ROBO1 and SRGAP2. That interaction was also supported by rescue assays showing that overexpression of ROBO1 and SRGAP2 also reduced the antiangiogenic effect of exosomal miR-29b in HUVECs.Conclusion: Exosomal miR-29b originating from PC cells protected HUVECs from PC cell-induced angiogenesis by attenuating ROBO1 and SRGAP2 expression. Blood brain barrier (BBB) dysfunction is a critical complication of diabetes mellitus type 2 (T2DM), and the oxidative stress-induced apoptosis of human brain microvascular endothelial cells (HBMECs) is a main cause of BBB dysfunction. In this study, oxygen and glucose deprivation/reoxygenation (OGD/R) models were established with HBMECs to analyze the effects of miR-602 on the apoptosis of HMBECs. Western Blot, qRT-PCR, CCK-8, flow cytometry assay, ROS detection assay, and dual-luciferase reporter gene assay were used to measure the expression levels of corresponding factors and changes in intracellular environment. The results showed that miR-602 was overexpressed in HBMECs after OGD/R treatment, and miR-602 could reduce ROS level of OGD/R-induced HBMECs and promote cells survival via increasing the expression level of NRF2 and the transcription activity of NRF2/ARE. Besides, it was found that KEAP1 and HRD1 were downstream factors of miR-602, and the increase of both KEAP1 and HRD1 could reverse the effects of miR-602 on the OGD/R-induced HMBECs. Background. The incidence of neovascular eye disease is increasing year by year, seriously threatening human vision health and becoming an urgent public health problem. Tongmai fuming decoction as an experienced prescription can treat ischemic eye disease. Objective. To investigate the therapeutic effect of Tongmai fuming decoction combined with anti-VEGF therapy on neovascular ophthalmopathy. Methods. 52 patients (62 eyes) with neovascular ophthalmopathy who met the inclusion criteria from January 2018 to July 2020 were randomly divided into the control and observation groups. The control group was given an intravitreal injection of antivascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) drugs once a day combined with on-demand treatment. The observation group was treated with traditional Chinese medicine Tongmai fuming decoction in addition to the treatment of anti-VEGF drugs. The best-corrected visual acuity (BCVA) was examined before and after treatment, and optical coherence tomography angiography (OCTA) was used to examine the mean retinal thickness and neovascularization in the macular area. Patients were followed for one year and the number of anti-VEGF injections was recorded. Results. After treatment, the average thickness of BCVA and macular retina in the two groups significantly improved. The BCVA of the control group was 0.59 ± 0.39 3 months after treatment, and that of the experimental group was 0.42 ± 0.25 3 months after treatment. The average thickness of the macular retina in the control group was 304.8 ± 79.7 3 months after treatment, and that in the experimental group was 267.7 ± 64.6 3 months after treatment; The average number of injections of anti-VEGF therapy in the control group was 2.32 ± 1.15 times, and that in the experimental group was 1.74 ± 0.76 times. There was a significant difference between the two groups. Conclusion. Tongmai fuming decoction and anti-VEGF therapy have a synergistic effect in the treatment of neovascular ophthalmopathy, which can reduce the treatment times of anti-VEGF drugs. The policy planning of cultural and creative industries is the leading factor affecting the development of cultural and creative industries and is also an important factor in driving China's economic transformation. How to combine the policy with the actual industrial development and how to scientifically assess the construction effect of cultural and creative industries and build the corresponding planning system are the key points of the current development of cultural and creative industries in Anhui Province, China. The study first analyzes the regional cultural characteristics and development status of Anhui Province, then uses Nvivo12 qualitative software to conduct grounded research and qualitative text analysis on 20 Chinese cultural and creative industry development policy texts, and summarizes three core elements that promote the development of China's cultural and creative industry: "development task," "development goal," and "development guarantee." Then, according to the three core elements of the text, we propose policy recommendations for the innovation and development of Anhui's cultural and creative industries: focus on "cultural heritage and sustainable development" policy formulation, explore Anhui's regional characteristics and culture; strengthen the development of urban-rural cultural integration and mechanism innovation; optimize and adjust the structure and supply of cultural industries; top-level design to clarify the strategic direction of culture, and coordinate the research tasks to empower industrial innovation. Relying on new media means, it integrates three major development strategies to build a new mechanism for internationalized communication of cultural and creative industries in Anhui Province, develop regional advantageous industries, form advantageous cultural industry clusters, effectively spread local culture, and promote sustainable development of local economy. Oxidative stress and impaired autophagy are the hallmarks of cardiac aging. However, there are no specific drugs available to prevent cardiac aging. Curcumin is a natural polyphenolic drug with antioxidant, antiaging, and autophagy-promoting effects. Here, we describe the preventive role of Curcumin in cardiac aging through the induction of autophagy and the restoration of autophagy via the SIRT1/AMPK/mTOR pathway. The number of cells positive for senescence-associated β-galactosidase, P53, P16, and intracellular ROS increased significantly in senescent cardiomyocytes, stimulated using D-galactose. Curcumin reversed this effect in a dose-dependent manner. Curcumin-induced autophagy increased the expression of SIRT1and phosphorylated AMPK and decreased phosphorylated mTOR in a dose-dependent manner. SIRT1-siRNA-mediated knockdown inhibited the antioxidation, antiaging, the promotion of autophagy, and the SIRT1/AMPK/mTOR pathway activation effect of curcumin. In order to improve efficiency of gas drainage, the reasonable layout parameters for borehole on roadway head are investigated. Assuming that the coal mass has a dual pore structure with fractures and pores, a multiphysical field coupling mathematical model is proposed for gas drainage. The governing equations of gas adsorption, seepage, and diffusion are considered. The process of gas preextraction and excavating-extraction collaboration on roadway heading face in 2606 haulage roadway of Zhangcun mine is modeled by finite element (FE) method. The effects of gas drainage under different drilling arrangements are analyzed. The results show that the fastest decreasing rate of gas content occurs at the beginning of drainage, and decreasing rate of gas content tends to be stable in the later stage. After removing the predraining on roadway head, the gas content at the center of coal wall on the roadway heading face will rebound. The included angle between the borehole and the roadway middle line determines the spatial area of gas drainage. Too small included angle will reduce the area of gas content reduction, while too large included angle will result in a blind area on both sides of the roadway. The change in borehole spacing affects the decreasing rate of gas content in the rock and coal around the roadway. Large spacing may cause an inadequate decreasing rate in the middle of the roadway, while small spacing may cause an inadequate decreasing rate in both sides of the roadway. In the field application, the pure gas flow and gas concentration of drainage show a downward trend in whole. The gas concentration decreased from 13.2% to 10.8%, and the pure gas flow decreased from 10.6 m3/min to 8.15 m3/min. In this study, a series of benzimidazole derivatives bearing thioether and carbamate moieties have been synthesized and evaluated for their in vitro antifungal activity against Cytospora mandshurica, Thanatephorus cucumeris, Botrytis cinerea, Verticillium daliae, Phytophthora infestans, and Gibberella zeae by the mycelium growth rate method. The result of bioassay demonstrated that most of the compounds had certain antifungal activity. Especially, compound E11 revealed better antifungal activity against Verticillium daliae and Phytophthora infestans at 50 μg/mL, with the inhibition rates of 70% and 75%, respectively, than those of albendazole (38% and 61%, respectively). Due to the rapid development of social computerization and smart devices, there is an increasing demand for indoor positioning of mobile robots in the robotics field, so it is very important to realize the autonomous navigation of mobile robots. However, in indoor scenes, due to factors such as dark walls, the global positioning system cannot effectively locate, and the broadband and wired positioning technologies used indoors have problems such as base station laying and delay. Computer vision positioning technology has greatly improved the camera hardware due to its simple equipment and low cost. Compared with other sensor cameras, it is less affected by environmental changes, so visual positioning has received extensive attention. Image matching has become the most critical link in visual positioning. The accuracy, speed, and robustness of image matching directly determine the results of visual positioning, so image matching has become the main topic of this study. In this study, the neural network algorithm is systematically optimized, especially for the robot's local obstacle avoidance, and an obstacle data acquisition method based on VGG16 and fast RCNN is proposed. In order to solve the problem that the semantic image segmentation algorithm based on AlexNet and ResNet is difficult to accurately obtain the information of multiple objects, and an image semantic segmentation algorithm combined with VGG16 is designed to classify the background and road in the image at the pixel level and capture the path boundary line. The collection of robot obstacle path information improves the speed and accuracy of highly automated local obstacle avoidance. Background. Retinoblastoma (RB) is a rare pediatric tumor with a relatively favorable prognosis. However, RB is associated with cause-specific mortality, some of that should be of great importance to clinicians. In this study, we summarize the characteristics of cause-specific mortality from nontumor disease in patients with RB. Methods. This retrospective case series study identified and analyzed cause-specific mortality in patients with RB. The information of cause-specific mortality of RB patients, including detailed clinical characteristics, diagnosis, treatment process, cause-specific mortality classification, and lag time, was assessed. Results. A total of 12 eligible patients were selected from 264 patients who died among 3780 patients diagnosed with RB. The cause-specific mortality rate was 4.5% for all patients with RB who died and 0.3% for all patients with RB. The main nontumor cause-specific mortalities were diseases of the nervous, circulatory, and respiratory systems, which specifically included intracranial infection, cerebral hemorrhage, paraplegia, and respiratory failure. The longest lag time was 42 days from the last chemoradiotherapy or surgery. Conclusion. Nontumor cause-specific mortality is an essential outcome of RB. Background. Breast cancer-related depression (BCRD) seriously inhibits the life quality of patients with breast cancer. The Xiaoyao Kangai Jieyu Formula is known to inhibit the progression of depression. However, the detailed function of the Xiaoyao Kangai Jieyu Formula in BCRD remains unclear. Methods. Network pharmacology was constructed to assess the downstream target of the Xiaoyao Kangai Jieyu Formula in BCRD. In addition, the tail suspension test, sucrose preference test, and forced swimming test were used to test the symptom of depression in mice. Fluoro-Jade B staining was performed to observe the structure of neurons. RT-qPCR and western blot were applied to evaluate mRNA and protein levels. Besides, ELISA was performed to test the inflammatory responses and the immune response-related cytokines. Results. Quercetin was identified as the key component of the Xiaoyao Kangai Jieyu Formula. Quercetin significantly inhibited BCRD-induced neuron pyroptosis via downregulation of PYD and card domain containing (ASC), NLR family pyrin domain containing 3 (NLRP3), and caspase-1, and quercetin could reverse BCRD-caused inhibition of neuron viability. Quercetin significantly attenuated the symptom of BCRD in mice, and it could reverse the contents of 5-hydroxytryptamine (5-HT), dopamine (DA), and neutrophil elastase (NE) in mice. Moreover, quercetin could promote the immune responses in xenograft mice via upregulation of interleukin- (IL-) 2, interferon-γ (IFN-γ), and IL-10. Conclusion. Quercetin, the active ingredient of the Xiaoyao Kangai Jieyu Formula, effectively mitigated the progression of BCRD by inhibiting pyroptosis, promoting immune response, and improving serum metabolism. In the experimental advanced superconducting tokamak (EAST), the cooling channels of plasma-facing components (PFCs) are familiarly connected in parallel through manifolds. According to the drainage performance of the PFCs, the amount of water trapped in the cooling channels is directly correlated with the type of manifolds. To date, manifold types have been well studied with respect to single-phase and mixed multiphase flow characteristics. However, there are few studies on the drainage performance relevant to the type of manifolds. The friction effect and inertia effect in the manifold intake and exhaust are studied through theoretical analysis. In addition, the draining liquid effect in the branches is dependent on the pressure difference and the resistance coefficient. Furthermore, U-type and Z-type manifolds are studied with FLUENT to discuss their drainage capability in this study. The distribution of the water volume fraction, pressure, and flow ratio is obtained to verify that the Z type is more effective than the U type when applied in the drainage process. This is also supported by comparing the experimental value of the two in drainage discharge. This study will provide a theoretical basis for future upgrades of EAST drainage systems. Heat stress (HS) is a common stress influencing the growth and reproduction of plant species. Jujube (Ziziphus jujuba Mill.) is an economically important tree with strong abiotic stress resistance, but the molecular mechanism of its response to HS remains elusive. In this study, we subjected seedlings of Z. jujuba cultivar "Hqing1-HR" to HS (45°C) for 0, 1, 3, 5, and 7 days, respectively, and collected the leaf samples (HR0, HR1, HR3, HR5, and HR7) accordingly. Fifteen cDNA libraries from leaves were constructed for transcriptomics assays. RNA sequencing and transcriptomics identified 1,642, 4,080, 5,160, and 2,119 differentially expressed genes (DEGs) in comparisons of HR1 vs. HR0, HR3 vs. HR0, HR5 vs. HR0, and HR7 vs. HR0, respectively. Gene ontology analyses of the DEGs from these comparisons revealed enrichment in a series of biological processes involved in stress responses, photosynthesis, and metabolism, suggesting that lowering or upregulating expression of these genes might play important roles in the response to HS. This study contributed to our understanding of the molecular mechanism of jujube response to HS and will be beneficial for developing jujube cultivars with improved heat resistance. Gene expression programming (GEP) uses simple linear coding to solve complex modeling problems. However, the performance is limited by the effectiveness of the selected method of evaluating population individuals, the breadth and depth of the search domain for the solution, and the ability of accuracy of correcting the solution based on historical data. Therefore, a new dual-mode GEP prediction algorithm based on irregularity and similar period is proposed. It takes measures to specialize origin data to reserve the elite individuals, reevaluate the target individuals, and process data and solutions via the similar period mode, which avoids the tendency to get stuck in local optimum and the complexity of the precisions of correcting complex modeling problems due to insufficiency scope of the search domain, and subsequently, better convergence results are obtained. If we take the leek price and the sunspot observation data as the sample to compare the new algorithm with the GEP simulation test, the results indicate that the new algorithm possesses more powerful exploration ability and higher precision. Under the same accuracy requirements, the new algorithm can find the individual faster. Additionally, the conclusion can be drawn that the performance of new algorithm is better on the condition that we take another set of sunspot observations as samples, combining the ARIMA algorithm and BP neural network prediction algorithm for simulation and comparison with the new algorithm. Sound classification is a broad area of research that has gained much attention in recent years. The sound classification systems based on recurrent neural networks (RNNs) and convolutional neural networks (CNNs) have undergone significant enhancements in the recognition capability of models. However, their computational complexity and inadequate exploration of global dependencies for long sequences restrict improvements in their classification results. In this paper, we show that there are still opportunities to improve the performance of sound classification by substituting the recurrent architecture with the parallel processing structure in the feature extraction. In light of the small-scale and high-dimension sound datasets, we propose the use of the multihead attention and support vector machine (SVM) for sound taxonomy. The multihead attention is taken as the feature extractor to obtain salient features, and SVM is taken as the classifier to recognize all categories. Extensive experiments are conducted across three acoustically characterized public datasets, UrbanSound8K, GTZAN, and IEMOCAP, by using two commonly used audio spectrograms as inputs, respectively, and we fully evaluate the impact of parameters and feature types on classification accuracy. Ischemia reperfusion (IR) can lead to acute kidney injury and can be complicated by acute lung injury, which is one of the leading causes of acute kidney injury-related death. Peptidyl arginine deiminase-4 (PAD4) is a member of the PAD enzyme family and plays a critical role in inflammatory reactions and neutrophil extracellular trap formation in a variety of pathological conditions. It has been reported that PAD4 inhibition can protect certain organs from ischemic injury. In this study, we aimed to understand the mode of action of PAD4 in renal ischemia-reperfusion-mediated acute lung injury. Bilateral renal pedicle occlusion was induced for 30 min followed by reperfusion for 24 h. A specific inhibitor of PAD4, GSK484, was delivered via intraperitoneal injection to alter the PAD4 activity. The pulmonary PAD4 expression, pulmonary impairment, neutrophil infiltration, Cit-H3 expression, neutrophil extracellular trap formation, inflammatory cytokine secretion, and pulmonary apoptosis were analyzed. We found that renal ischemia reperfusion was associated with pulmonary pathological changes and increases in neutrophil infiltration, neutrophil extracellular trap formation, and inflammatory cytokine secretion in the lungs of the recipient animals. Suppression of PAD4 by GSK484 reduced remote lung injury by mitigating neutrophil infiltration, neutrophil extracellular trap formation, apoptosis, and inflammatory factor secretion. Our findings demonstrate that specific PAD4 inhibition by GSK484 may be an effective strategy to attenuate distant lung injury complicating renal ischemia-reperfusion injury. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Nicotinamide nucleotide transhydrogenase-antisense RNA1 (NNT-AS1) is a long noncoding RNA (lncRNA) that has been shown to be overexpressed in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). However, the molecular mechanism involving NNT-AS1 in HCC remains to be extensively investigated. The activation of TGF-β signaling inhibits tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes (TILs) and results in tumor immune evasion. We thus planned to explore the mechanism by which NNT-AS1 activates the TGF-β signaling pathway and inhibits TILs in HCC. High levels of NNT-AS1 were detected in HCC tissues by both RNAscope and real-time quantitative PCR (RT-qPCR) assays. The levels of proteins involved in TGF-β signaling and those of CD4 T lymphocytes were quantified by immunohistochemistry (IHC). HCC cell lines (HepG2 and Huh7) were used to explore the effects of NNT-AS1 on TGF-β signaling activation. In these analyses, RNAscope detection demonstrated that NNT-AS1 levels were significantly increased in HCC cancer tissues (P = 0.0001). In addition, the elevated NNT-AS1 levels in cancer tissue were further confirmed by RT-qPCR analysis of HCC cancer tissues (n = 64) and normal tissues (n = 26) (P = 0.0003). Importantly, the overall survival time of HCC patients who exhibited higher levels of NNT-AS1 expression was significantly shorter than that of HCC patients who had lower levels of NNT-AS1 expression (P = 0.0402). Further mechanistic investigation indicated that NNT-AS1 inhibition significantly decreased the levels of TGF-β, TGFBR1, and SMAD5 in HCC cells. In HCC tissues, IHC detection showed that relatively high NNT-AS1 levels were associated with a reduction in infiltrated CD4 lymphocyte numbers. In December 2021, a wildlife conservation base in Hunan, China, reported illness and death among its captive Myocastor coypus population. A gram-positive pathogen was isolated from the affected animals. The 16S rDNA sequence of the isolated strain was approximately 1,500 bp long and exhibited 98.4% homogeneity with Staphylococcus cohnii found in sea cucumbers. Interestingly, the biochemical reactions of the isolated strain were consistent with the characteristics of S. cohnii. The LD100 for BALB/c mice was 1.2 × 107 CFU/g, while the MLD was 0.6 × 107 CFU/g. Inflammatory cell infiltration was observed in the liver, spleen, and kidneys of infected mice, accompanied by widespread systemic bacteremia and focal hepatic and splenic necrosis. Moreover, mycelium was detected in the liver and kidney. The isolated strain possessed both HLB and PVL virulence genes. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first study to report a highly pathogenic strain of S. cohnii isolated from M. coypus, possessing both HLB and PVL virulence genes. The findings contribute to yielding a better understanding of the pathogenic mechanisms of S. cohnii and have significant implications for disease control in M. coypus, as well as for public health safety and the prevention of zoonotic diseases. Based on the principle of the critical flow and standard k- ε three-dimensional turbulence model, experiments and simulations were performed on a portable pillar-shaped flume with three contraction ratios under 12 working conditions. By combining the numerical simulations with the experiments, the theoretical stage-discharge formula of the portable pillar-shaped flume was developed, and the variations in the Froude number, backwater height, critical submergence, head loss, and velocity distribution were examined. The simulation data obtained from the standard k-ε three-dimensional turbulence model are in good agreement with the experimental results, with a maximum error of 8.65%. The maximum error in the difference between the theoretical stage-discharge formula and the measured value is 4.74%. The upstream Froude number is less than 0.5, and critical submergence is between 0.73 and 0.96. Compared to airfoil pillar-shaped flumes, the portable pillar-shaped flume had a significantly smaller head loss and backwater height. Background. The aim of our study was to investigate whether serum cholinesterase (ChE) levels were associated with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). Materials and Methods. We conducted a retrospective case-control study to clarify the relationship between serum ChE levels and IBD that included 142 patients with ulcerative colitis (UC), 60 patients with Crohn's disease (CD), and 264 healthy controls (HCs). We used ROC curves to evaluate the diagnostic value of serum ChE levels for IBD. Results. Substantially lower serum ChE levels were detected in patients with UC than in HCs (6376 U/L versus 8418 U/L, P < 0.001) and in patients with CD than in HCs (5181 U/L versus 8418 U/L, P < 0.001). Additionally, patients with CD displayed significantly lower serum ChE levels than patients with UC (5181 U/L versus 6376 U/L, P < 0.01). We also found that there was a negative association between serum ChE levels and the Crohn's Disease Activity Index (CDAI) score of patients with CD (P = 0.011) and the Simple Clinical Colitis Activity Index (SCCAI) score of patients with UC (P = 0.018). The area under the curve (AUC) for serum ChE for the diagnosis of IBD was 0.826, and the AUCs of serum ChE for the diagnosis of CD and UC were 0.890 and 0.800, respectively. Conclusions. Serum ChE levels have important clinical significance in the diagnosis and assessment of clinical activity in patients with IBD, and the cholinergic anti-inflammatory pathway may provide new ideas for targeted treatment of IBD. Protein-protein interactions (PPIs) are important for almost all cellular processes, including metabolic cycles, DNA transcription and replication, and signaling cascades. The experimental methods for identifying PPIs are always time-consuming and expensive. Therefore, it is important to develop computational approaches for predicting PPIs. In this paper, an improved model is proposed to use a machine learning method in the study of protein-protein interactions. With the consideration of the factors affecting the prediction of the PPIs, a method of feature extraction and fusion is proposed to improve the variety of the features to be considered in the prediction. Besides, with the consideration of the effect affected by the different input order of the two proteins, we propose a "Y-type" Bi-RNN model and train the network by using a method which both needs backward and forward training. In order to insure the training time caused on the extra training either a backward one or a forward one, this paper proposes a weight-sharing policy to minimize the parameters in the training. The experimental results show that the proposed method can achieve an accuracy of 99.57%, recall of 99.36%, sensitivity of 99.76%, precision of 99.74%, MCC of 99.14%, and AUC of 99.56% under the benchmark dataset. Objective. This study is aimed at investigating the predictive value of CENPA in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) development. Methods. Using integrated bioinformatic analysis, we evaluated the CENPA mRNA expression in tumor and adjacent tissues and correlated it with HCC survival and clinicopathological features. A Cox regression hazard model was also performed. Results. CENPA mRNA was significantly upregulated in tumor tissues compared with that in adjacent tissues, which were validated in The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) and Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO) series (all P < 0.01). In the Kaplan-Meier plotter platform, the high level of CENPA mRNA was significantly correlated with overall survival (OS), disease-free survival (DFS), recurrence-free survival (RFS), and progression-free survival (PFS) in HCC patients (all log rank P < 0.01). For validation in GSE14520 and pan-TCGA dataset, HCC patients with CNEPA mRNA overexpression had poor OS compared with those with low CENPA mRNA (log rank P = 0.025 and P < 0.0001 , respectively), and those with high CENPA had poor DFS in TCGA (log rank P = 0.0001). Additionally, CENPA mRNA were upregulated in HCC patients with alpha-fetoprotein (AFP) elevation, advanced TNM stage, larger tumor size, advanced AJCC stage, advanced pathology grade, and vascular invasion (all P < 0.05). A Cox regression model including CENPA, OIP5, and AURKB could predict OS in HCC patients effectively (AUC = 0.683). Conclusion. Based on the proposed emergency bridge scheme, the flutter performance of the emergency bridge with the new-type cable-girder has been investigated through wind tunnel tests and numerical simulation analyses. Four aerodynamic optimization schemes have been developed in consideration of structure characteristics of the emergency bridge. The flutter performances of the aerodynamic optimization schemes have been investigated. The flutter derivatives of four aerodynamic optimization schemes have been analyzed. According to the results, the optimal scheme has been determined. Based on flutter theory of bridge, the differential equations of flutter of the emergency bridge with new-type cable-girder have been established. Iterative method has been used for solving the differential equations. The flutter analysis program has been compiled using the APDL language in ANSYS, and the bridge flutter critical wind speed of the optimal scheme has been determined by the program. The flutter analysis program has also been used to determine the bridge flutter critical wind speed of different wind-resistance cable schemes. The results indicate that the bridge flutter critical wind speed of the original emergency bridge scheme is lower than the flutter checking wind speed. The aerodynamic combined measurements of central-slotted and wind fairing are the optimal scheme, with the safety coefficients larger than 1.2 at the wind attack angles of −3°, 0°, and +3°. The bridge flutter critical wind speed of the optimal scheme has been determined using the flutter analysis program, and the numerical results agree well with the wind tunnel test results. The wind-resistance cable scheme of 90° is the optimal wind cable scheme, and the bridge flutter critical wind speed increased 31.4%. However, in consideration of the convenience in construction and the effectiveness in erection, the scheme of wind-resistance cable in the horizontal direction has been selected to be used in the emergency bridge with new-type cable-girder. Objectives. To investigate the protective effect of ginsenoside Rg1 on relieving sepsis-induced lung inflammation and injury in vivo and in vitro. Methods. Cultured human pulmonary epithelial cell line A549 was challenged with LPS to induce cell injury, and CLP mouse model was generated to mimic clinical condition of systemic sepsis. Rg1 was applied to cells or animals at indicated dosage. Apoptosis of cultured cells was quantified by flow cytometry, along with ELISA for inflammatory cytokines in supernatant. For septic mice, lung tissue pathology was examined, plus ELISA assay for serum cytokines. Western blotting was used to examine the activation of inflammatory pathways and ER stress marker proteins in both cells and mouse lung tissues. Reactive oxygen species (ROS) level was quantified by DCFDA kit. Results. Ginsenoside Rg1 treatment remarkably suppressed apoptosis rate of LPS-induced A549 cells, relieved mouse lung tissue damage, and elevated survival rate. Rg1 treatment also rescued cells from LPS-induced intracellular ROS. In both A549 cells and mouse lung tissues, further study showed that Rg1 perfusion significantly suppressed the secretion of inflammatory cytokines including tumor necrosis factor- (TNF-) alpha and interleukin- (IL-) 6 and relieved cells from ER stress as supported by decreased expression of marker proteins via upregulating sirtuin 1 (SIRT1). Conclusion. Our results showed that ginsenoside Rg1 treatment effectively relieved sepsis-induced lung injury in vitro and in vivo, mainly via upregulating SIRT1 to relieve ER stress and inflammation. Recently, virtualization has become more and more important in the cloud computing to support efficient flexible resource provisioning. However, the performance interference among virtual machines may affect the efficiency of the resource provisioning. In a virtualized environment, where multiple MapReduce applications are deployed, the performance interference can also affect the performance of the Map and Reduce tasks resulting in the performance degradation of the MapReduce jobs. Then, in order to ensure the performance of the MapReduce jobs, a framework for scheduling the MapReduce jobs with the consideration of the performance interference among the virtual machines is proposed. The core of the framework is to identify the straggler tasks in a job and back up these tasks to make the backed up one overtake the original tasks in order to reduce the overall response time of the job. Then, to identify the straggler task, this paper uses a method for predicting the performance interference degree. A method for scheduling the backing-up tasks is presented. To verify the effectiveness of our framework, a set of experiments are done. This paper explores a two-echelon tourism supply chain consisting of a hotel and an online travel agency. The upside hotel rooms can be sold through the downside hotel alliance and online travel agency. The hotel alliance, selling rooms at a lower price, is a direct sale platform with a negligible entry fee. Notwithstanding, the online travel agency sells the room at a higher price with related personalized service. Customers will be refunded partially in case of their cancellation or no-show. An integrated model and two decentralized models based on Bertrand and Stackelberg games are developed, respectively. The results show that when the wholesale price is lower than a certain value, both the hotel and the online travel agency can gain more profit from the Stackelberg game than that from the Bertrand game. In the case that the hotel allows overbooking, the optimal overbooking quantity is obtained. If the overbooking proportion is too high, overbooking is profitable for the hotel only when the overbooking cost is lower than a certain value. The aim is to examine whether the interleukin-1β (IL-1β), IL-2, IL-6, tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α), plasminogen activator inhibitor type-1 (PAI-1), and tissue plasminogen activator (t-PA) levels were different in pleural effusions of tuberculous pleurisy and tuberculous empyema. IL-1β, IL-2, IL-6, TNF-α, PAI-1, and t-PA levels in pleural fluids of 40 patients with tuberculous pleurisy and 38 patients with tuberculous empyema were measured. The levels of IL-1β, PAI-1, and t-PA in the pleural effusions were different between tuberculous pleurisy and tuberculous empyema; it could be helpful to differentiate the two diseases. The levels of PAI-1, IL-1β were higher and t-PA, IL-6 were lower in pleural effusions of the patients with tuberculous empyema and who must undergo operation than the patients who could be treated with closed drainage and anti-TB chemotheraphy. Background. The efficacy of acupuncture in dry eye syndrome patients remains controversial. Methods. Pubmed, Ovid, Cochrane libraries, CNKI, Wanfang, and CQVIP databases were electronically searched until October 1, 2014. Outcomes including tear break-up time (BUT), Schirmer I test (SIT), and cornea fluorescein staining (CFS) were analyzed. A meta-analysis was performed using both fixed- and random-effects models based on heterogeneity across studies. Results. Seven studies were included in this study; 198 and 185 patients were randomly treated with acupuncture and artificial tears, respectively. The overall BUT of patients in acupuncture group was significantly longer than that of the artificial tears group after treatment (P<0.00001). The SIT was significantly higher in the acupuncture group than that in the artificial tears group after treatment (P=0.001). The CFS of patients in acupuncture group was significantly improved compared to that in artificial group (P<0.0001). Conclusions. A method for predicting protein-protein interactions based on detected protein complexes is proposed to repair deficient interactions derived from high-throughput biological experiments. Protein complexes are pruned and decomposed into small parts based on the adaptive k-cores method to predict protein-protein interactions associated with the complexes. The proposed method is adaptive to protein complexes with different structure, number, and size of nodes in a protein-protein interaction network. Based on different complex sets detected by various algorithms, we can obtain different prediction sets of protein-protein interactions. The reliability of the predicted interaction sets is proved by using estimations with statistical tests and direct confirmation of the biological data. In comparison with the approaches which predict the interactions based on the cliques, the overlap of the predictions is small. Similarly, the overlaps among the predicted sets of interactions derived from various complex sets are also small. Thus, every predicted set of interactions may complement and improve the quality of the original network data. Cannabinoid Δ9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) is effective in treating osteoarthritis (OA), and the mechanism, however, is still elusive. Activation of cannabinoid receptor CB2 reduces inflammation; whether the activation CB2 is involved in THC-induced therapeutic action for OA is still unknown. Cofilin-1 is a cytoskeleton protein, participating in the inflammation of OA. In this study, MG-63 cells, an osteosarcoma cell-line, were exposed to lipopolysaccharide (LPS) to mimic the inflammation of OA. We hypothesized that the activation of CB2 is involved in THC-induced anti-inflammation in the MG-63 cells exposed to LPS, and the anti-inflammation is mediated by cofilin-1. We found that THC suppressed the release of proinflammatory factors, including tumor necrosis factor α (TNF-α), interleukin- (IL-) 1β, IL-6, and IL-8, decreased nuclear factor-κB (NF-κB) expression, and inhibited the upregulation of cofilin-1 protein in the LPS-stimulated MG-63 cells. However, administration of CB2 receptor antagonist or the CB2-siRNA, not CB1 antagonist AM251, partially abolished the THC-induced anti-inflammatory effects above. In addition, overexpression of cofilin-1 significantly reversed the THC-induced anti-inflammatory effects in MG-63 cells. Four alkaloids (Sanguinarine, 6-Methoxyl-dihydro-chelerythrine, Cryptopine and β-Allocryptopine) were isolated from aerial parts of Macleaya microcarpa (Maxim) Fedde using bioassay-guided isolation method, and the inhibitory activity of ethanolic extract, various fractions and these four alkaloids against four fish pathogenic bacteria ( Aeromonas hydrophila, Aeromonas salmonicida, Vibrio anguillarum and Vibrio harveyi) was assessed in vitro using the agar dilution method and the microdilution assay method respectively. A. hydrophila was the most sensitive strain to all the tested compounds. Minimum inhibitory concentration ( MIC) values were lower for sanguinarine against all tested Gram-negative strains than other three alkaloids, with MIC values of 12.5 mg L−1 for A. hydrophila and 50 mg L−1 to other pathogenic bacteria. Followed by 6-methoxyl-dihydro-chelerythrine, which showed considerable antibacterial activity with MIC values of 80 mg L−1 for A. hydrophila, 100 mg L−1 for V. harveyi, and 125 mg L−1 for both V. anguillarum and A. salmonicida. Cryptopine and β-allocryptopine revealed similar inhibitory activity with MIC values of 100 mg L−1 for A. hydrophila and 200 mg L−1 for other three bacterial species. These finding provided evidence that extract, as well as isolated compounds from M. microcarpa might be potential sources novel antibacterial agents for the treatment of fish infectious diseases. Objective. To explore the risk factors and surgical strategies of knee traumatic arthritis after internal plate fixation in the treatment of tibial plateau fracture. Methods. A total of 300 patients with tibial plateau fractures treated with internal plate fixation in our hospital from January 2019 to April 2021 were retrospectively analyzed. According to whether secondary knee traumatic arthritis occurred after operation, they were divided into control group and research group. The control group was nonsecondary knee traumatic arthritis (n = 231), and the research group was secondary knee traumatic arthritis (n = 69). Univariate and multivariate logistic regression analysis was used in this research. Results. There were significant differences in fracture classification, injury method, osteoporosis, and the time from injury to operation between the two groups, and there are statistically significant differences between groups (P < 0.05). Fracture type, injury method, osteoporosis, and time from injury to operation were the influencing factors of tibial internal fixation, and there are statistically significant differences between groups (P < 0.05). Platform fracture was an independent risk factor for postoperative knee joint traumatic arthritis, and there are statistically significant differences between groups (P < 0.05). The HSS scores of both groups increased after operation, and there are statistically significant differences between groups (P < 0.05). No loosening of the prosthesis was found in all 69 patients with postoperative X-ray examination. Conclusion. Fracture classification, injury mode, osteoporosis, and time from injury to operation are independent risk factors for knee traumatic arthritis in the treatment of tibial plateau fractures with internal plate fixation, incidence of knee trauma. Energy consumption is the key factor leading to high operating costs in data center. In this paper, considering the data center service level under the premise of using electricity and gas as energy supply of energy supply and energy consumption from two angles, the data center energy scheduling model is built. The lower model is calculation scheduling model for the data center, and the upper model is data center energy supply scheduling model. Then the particle swarm algorithm is used to simulate the schedule. Background. Chronological age (CA) is not a perfect proxy for the true biological aging status of the body. A new biological aging measure, phenotypic age (PhenoAge), has been shown to capture morbidity and mortality risk in the general US population and diverse subpopulations. This study was aimed at evaluating the association between PhenoAge and long-term outcome of patients with multivessel coronary artery disease (CAD). Methods. A total of 609 multivessel CAD patients who received PCI attempt and with follow-up were enrolled. The clinical outcome was all-cause mortality on follow-up. PhenoAge was calculated using an equation constructed from CA and 9 clinical biomarkers. Cox proportional hazards regression models and receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curves were performed to evaluate the association between PhenoAge and mortality. Results. Overall, patients with more diseases had older PhenoAge and phenotypic age acceleration (PhenoAgeAccel). After a median follow-up of 33.5 months, those with positive PhenoAgeAccel had a significantly higher incidence of all-cause mortality (P = 0.001). After adjusting for CA, Cox proportional hazards models showed that both PhenoAge and PhenoAgeAccel were significantly associated with all-cause mortality. Even after further adjusting for confounding factors, each 10-year increase in PhenoAge was also associated with a 51% increased mortality risk. ROC curves revealed that PhenoAge, with an area under the curve of 0.705, significantly outperformed CA, the individual clinical chemistry measure, and other risk factors. When reexamining the ROC curves using various combinations of variables, we found that PhenoAge provides additional predictive power to all models. Conclusions. In conclusion, PhenoAge was strongly associated with all-cause mortality even after adjusting for CA. This study investigated the potential protective effects of alpha-mangostin (α-MG) on ultraviolet B (UVB)-induced damage in HaCaT cells. The results showed that α-MG less than 10 μM had no significant cytotoxicity and exposure to UVB (50 mJ/cm2) reduced cell viability by approximately 50% compared with the control. The 2 μM α-MG upregulated cell viability and downregulated the expression of metal matrix proteases (MMPs). The results of flow cytometry, real-time quantitative PCR (RT-qPCR), and immunoblotting manifested that α-MG relieved the extent of apoptosis and reduced the levels of apoptosis-associated mRNAs and proteins, respectively. The results of RT-qPCR and ELISA indicated that α-MG suppressed the generation of IL-6 and TNF-α. Furthermore, α-MG effectively downregulated activation of the UVB-induced nuclear factor κB (NF-κB) and mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) signaling pathways. Finally, lipidomics profiling demonstrated that α-MG significantly reduced UVB radiation-increased ceramide. Background. The hypolipidemic effects of wheat bran have been widely documented; however, limited research has concurrently revealed the hypolipidemic and antioxidant properties of wheat bran protein (WBP). Objective. This study investigates the impact of WBP (5% daily dietary intake) on antioxidant activity, cholesterol metabolism, and serum/hepatic lipids in high-fat diet-fed rats. Methodology. In our animal experiment, we used 12 male Wistar rats that were 4 weeks old. Biochemical indicators of fecal, serum, intestinal, and liver were tested by kits or chemical techniques. The experiment on cholesterol micellar solubility was also carried out in vitro. Results. After 28 days of feeding, the results revealed that WBP significantly reduced the levels of total cholesterol (P < 0.05) in serum and liver, the levels of triglycerides (P < 0.05), the levels of MDA (P < 0.05), and the levels of very low-density lipoprotein and low-density lipoprotein (P < 0.05), and significantly increased the levels of high-density lipoprotein (P < 0.05), the levels of glutathione peroxidase, and the level of total antioxidant capability. By downregulating the level of sterol regulatory element-binding protein-2 (P < 0.05), WBP also reduced the content of 3-hydroxy-3-methylglutaryl-coenzyme A (P < 0.05). Conclusion. In vivo, WBP demonstrated a substantial hypolipidemic and antioxidant impact (P < 0.05), while in vitro, it significantly decreased the micellar solubility of cholesterol (P < 0.001). Objective. To investigate the feasibility of using 3D printed personalized guide plates in core decompression procedures for the treatment of osteonecrosis of the femoral head (ONFH). Methods. The clinical data of 8 patients undergoing femoral head core decompression from January to December 2019 were analyzed retrospectively. Three-dimensional (3D) images of the patients were reconstructed from the CT scan data taken preoperatively. From the data obtained, puncture position, drill hole, and depth were evaluated, and individualized 3D puncture guide plates were designed using Mimics 21.0 software. During the operation, the needle went through the hole of the guide plate, the depth of the drill was controlled, and the obtained bone tissues were sent for pathological evaluation. Intraoperative X-ray and postoperative pathological results were used to evaluate the success of the puncture. Results. The individualized guide plates used for core compression on the 8 patients were well fitted with the anatomic structure of the puncture site, and the direction and depth of the needle insertion were consistent with the preoperative design. The operation time was about 15-22 mins. The position of the decompression tunnel was the same as the designed plate. The postoperative pathology showed necrotic bone tissue. There were no postoperative complications such as infection, bleeding, and fracture. Conclusion. The 3D printed individualized guide plate can simplify core decompression and would make this procedure more accurate, safe, and quick, in addition to obtaining necrotic tissues for pathological examination. Objective. To determine prognostic role of endothelial progenitor cells (EPCs) in intensive care patients with acute myocardial infarction (AMI). Materials and Methods. From December 2018 to July 2021, a total of 91 eligible patients with AMI were consecutively examined in a single intensive care unit (ICU) in China. Patients with a history of acute coronary artery disease were excluded from the study. Samples were collected within 24 hr of onset of symptoms. EPCs, defined as coexpression of CD34+/CD133+ cells or CD133+/CD34+/KDR+, were studied using flow cytometry and categorized by quartiles. Based on the 28-days mortality outcome, the patients were further divided into two groups: death and survival. The study incorporated various variables, including cardiovascular risk factors such as body mass index, hypertension, diabetes, hypercholesterolemia, atherosclerotic burden, and medication history, as well as clinical characteristics such as APACHEⅡscore, central venous-arterial carbon dioxide difference (GAP), homocysteine, creatinine, C-reactive protein, HbAlc, and cardiac index. Cox regression analysis was employed to conduct a multivariate analysis. Results. A total of 91 patients with AMI who were admitted to the ICU were deemed eligible for inclusion in the study. Among these patients, 23 (25.3%) died from various causes during the follow-up period. The counts of EPCs were found to be significantly higher in the survival group compared to the death group (P < 0.05). In the univariate analysis, it was observed that the 28-days mortality rate was associated with the several factors, including the APACHEⅡscore (P = 0.00), vasoactive inotropic score (P = 0.03), GAP (P = 0.00), HCY (P = 0.00), creatinine (P = 0.00), C-reactive protein (P = 0.00), HbAlc (P = 0.00), CI (P = 0.01), quartiles of CD34+/CD133+ cells (P = 0.00), and quartiles of CD34+/CD133+/KDR+ cells (P = 0.00). CD34+/CD133+/KDR+ cells retained statistical significance in Cox regression models even after controlling for clinical variables (HR: 6.258 × 10−10 and P = 0.001). Nevertheless, no significant correlation was observed between CD34+/CD133+ cells and all-cause mortality. Conclusions. The decreased EPCs levels, especially for CD34+/CD133+/KDR+ cells subsets, were an independent risk factor for 28-days mortality in AMI patients. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

In general, battery packs are monitored by the battery management system (BMS) to ensure the efficiency and reliability of the energy storage system. SOC and SOH represent the battery's energy and lifetime, respectively. They are the core aspects of the battery BMS. The traditional method assumes that the SOC is determined by the integral of the current input and output from the battery over time, which is an open-loop-based approach and often accompanies by poor estimation accuracy and the accumulation of sensor errors. The contribution of this work is to establish a new equivalent circuit model based on the lithium battery external characteristic, and the battery parameters are identified by considering the influence of capacity fade, voltage rebound, and internal capacitance-resistance performance. The correlation between the ohmic internal resistance and real capacity is obtained by degradation test. Then, the dual extended Kalman filter (DEKF) is used to perform real-time prediction of the lithium battery state. The distribution of the induced electric field (E-field) during transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) depends on the individual anatomical structure of the brain as well as coil positioning. Inappropriate stimulation may degrade the efficacy of TMS or even induce adverse effects. Therefore, optimizing the E-field according to individual anatomy and clinical need has become a research focus. In this paper, particle swarm optimization (PSO) was applied for the first time to the positioning of TMS coils with anatomical head models. We discuss the parameters of the PSO algorithm, which were optimized to achieve a reasonable convergence time suitable for in-time treatment planning. The optimizer improved the distribution of the induced E-field strength at the dedicated cortical region, with a mean value of 48.31% compared with that from the conventional treatment position. The optimization terminated after 4–11 iterations for 13 head models. The applicability and performance of the optimizer for a large population are discussed in terms of cortical complexity. Background. To investigate the potential benefits of the auricular point acupressure on cerebrovascular function and stroke prevention among adults with high stroke risk. Methods. A randomized controlled study was performed in 105 adults at high risk for stroke between March and July 2021. Participants were randomly allocated (1 : 1) to receive either auricular point acupressure with basic lifestyle interventions (n = 53) or basic lifestyle interventions alone (n = 52) for 2 weeks. The primary outcome was the kinematic and dynamic indices of cerebrovascular function, as well as CVHP score at week 2, measured by the Doppler ultrasonography and pressure transducer on carotids. Results. Among the 105 randomized subjects, 86 finished the intervention plans. At week 2, the auricular point acupressure therapy with lifestyle intervention group had higher kinematic indices, cerebrovascular hemodynamic parameters score and lower dynamic indices than the lifestyle intervention group. Conclusions. Cerebrovascular function and cerebrovascular hemodynamic parameters score were greater improved among the participants undergoing auricular point acupressure combined with lifestyle interventions than lifestyle interventions alone. Breast cancer is a highly harmful malignant tumor, which poses a great threat to women's body and mind, and the mortality rate ranks second among all women's diseases. The incidence rate accounts for 7-10% of various malignant tumors in the whole body, second only to uterine cancer in women, and has become the main cause of threatening women's health. Advanced breast cancer is often considered an incurable disease. The family of heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein complexes is composed of about 20 hnRNP proteins with molecular weights ranging from 32 to 120 kDa, and they are named according to their molecular weights. Among them, hnRNPA2 and hnRNPB1 are the two most important members of the hnRNP family, both derived from the same gene on chromosome 7p15. Therefore, research to understand the molecular mechanism and process of breast cancer progression has an important role in promoting the current medical research on breast cancer treatment methods. Therefore, studying the mechanism of tumorigenesis is the key to tumor prevention and treatment. Therefore, this paper proposes that A2/B1 promotes the stability of NRF2 mRNA and inhibits ferroptosis and cell proliferation in breast cancer cells. The article mainly introduces the disease diagnosis method based on artificial neural network and its neural network algorithm. In the experimental part, the activity of hnRNP A2/B1 on cancer cells is deeply studied. The results show that the absorbance of the MTT method increases continuously with the extension of the culture time, and the maximum reaches 1.2. This fully shows that its absorption capacity is very strong, especially after 24 hours, the absorption rate rises from 0.6 to 0.9, which shows that 24 hours is the best absorption time. Human endogenous retrovirus-H long terminal repeat-associating protein 2 (HHLA2) and transmembrane and immunoglobulin domain containing 2 (TMIGD2) are new immune checkpoint molecules of the B7:CD28 family; however, little research has been performed on these immune checkpoint molecules. In this study, we used oral squamous cells carcinoma (OSCC) tissue microarrays and immunohistochemistry methods to investigate the expression patterns of HHLA2 and TMIGD2 in OSCC. After comparing the HHLA2 and TMIGD2 expression levels in OSCC, dysplasia, and mucosa, we found increased HHLA2 expression in OSCC and dysplasia, while the TMIGD2 expression was decreased in OSCC and dysplasia. Using the Kaplan-Meier method and log-rank test, we found that higher HHLA2 or TMIGD2 expression levels in OSCC indicate poor prognosis. Furthermore, two-tailed Pearson's statistical analysis revealed that the HHLA2 expression levels in OSCC, dysplasia, and mucosa were positively correlated with the T cell immunoglobulin and mucin-domain containing-3 (TIM3), lymphocyte-activation gene 3 (LAG3), B7 homolog 3 protein (B7-H3), B7 homolog 4 protein (B7H4), and V-domain Ig suppressor of T cell activation (VISTA) levels, while the TMIGD2 expression levels in OSCC, dysplasia, and mucosa were inversely correlated with the TIM3, LAG3, and B7H3 levels. Our current study demonstrates that HHLA2 may serve as an immune target for OSCC therapy and that the TMIGD2 expression level in OSCC could forecast patient prognosis. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Purpose. Present research is aimed at exploring the effect of miR-9a-5p on mitochondrial autophagy and alleviating cellular oxidative stress injury in ischemic stroke. Methods. SH-SY5Y cells were cultured with oxygen-glucose deprivation/reoxygenation (OGD/R) to simulate ischemia/reperfusion. The cells were treated in an anaerobic incubator (95% N2, 5% CO2) for 2 h and then reoxygenated in the normoxic condition for 24 h with 2 ml of normal medium. Cells were transfected with miR-9a-5p mimic/inhibitor or negative control. The RT-qPCR assay was utilized to measure the mRNA expression. Western blot was utilized to evaluate the protein expression. The CCK-8 assay was conducted to detect cell viability. Flow cytometry was applied to examine apoptosis and the cell cycle. The ELISA assay was applied to measure the contents of SOD and MDA in mitochondria. Autophagosomes were observed via electron microscopy. Results. By comparison with the control group, the miR-9a-5p expression in the OGD/R group obviously declined. Mitochondrial crista breaks, vacuole-like changes, and increased autophagosome formation were observed in the OGD/R group. OGD/R injury enhanced oxidative stress damage and mitophagy. When transfected with the miR-9a-5p mimic, mitophagosome production of SH-SY5Y cells decreased and oxidative stress injury was inhibited. However, the miR-9a-5p inhibitor obviously increased mitophagosome production and enhanced oxidative stress injury. Conclusion. miR-9a-5p protects against ischemic stroke by inhibiting OGD/R-induced mitochondrial autophagy and alleviating cellular oxidative stress injury. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

One of the most prevalent malignant bone tumors is osteosarcoma. The diagnosis and treatment cycle are long and the prognosis is poor. It takes a lot of time to manually identify osteosarcoma from osteosarcoma magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). Medical image processing technology has greatly alleviated the problems faced by medical diagnoses. However, MRI images of osteosarcoma are characterized by high noise and blurred edges. The complex features increase the difficulty of lesion area identification. Therefore, this study proposes an osteosarcoma MRI image segmentation method (OSTransnet) based on Transformer and U-net. This technique primarily addresses the issues of fuzzy tumor edge segmentation and overfitting brought on by data noise. First, we optimize the dataset by changing the precise spatial distribution of noise and the data-increment image rotation process. The tumor is then segmented based on the model of U-Net and Transformer with edge improvement. It compensates for the limitations of U-semantic Net by using channel-based transformers. Finally, we also add an edge enhancement module (BAB) and a combined loss function to improve the performance of edge segmentation. The method's accuracy and stability are demonstrated by the detection and training results based on more than 4,000 MRI images of osteosarcoma, which also demonstrate how well the method works as an adjunct to clinical diagnosis and treatment. The restricted three-body problem (R3BP) and restricted four-body problem (R4BP) are modeled based on the rotating frame. The conservative autonomous system for the R3BP and nonautonomous system with period parametric resonance due to the fourth body are derived. From the vibrational point of view, the methodology of polynomial series is proposed to solve for these problems analytically. By introducing the polynomial series relations among the three directions of motion, the three-degree-of-freedom coupled equations are transferred into one degree-of-freedom containing the full dynamics of the original autonomous system for the R3BP. As for the R4BP case, the methodology of polynomial series combined with the iterative approach is proposed. During the iterative approach, the nonautonomous system can be treated as pseudoautonomous equation and the final polynomial series relations and one-degree-of-freedom system can be derived iteratively.
