A.P. Moller-Maersk Group has decided to exit from terminal operations at the Port of Kaohsiung in Taiwan and the nearby Port of Xiamen in China might gain from Taiwan's loss. APM Terminals, Maersk's terminal operating arm, has revealed plans to hand over the lease of its last terminal in Kaohsiung to Hanjin Pacific. Insights on APM terminals decision to depart Kaohsiung are also given.
