CeO 2 & Ag0 and TiO 2 & Ag0 nanocomposite particles formed as a result of co-precipitation were analyzed using XRD, CEM, and EDS methods. Heating the precursor in the temperature range from 400 to 600°C allows to obtain on their surface a homogeneous phase of cerium and titanium dioxide (anatase) modified with silver clusters. Heat treatment causes particle size reduction. The general mechanism of the phase formation process is closely related to the direct red-ox reaction between trivalent cerium or titanium and silver cations without reducing agents adding.

This paper is devoted to the construction of reduced-volume ensembles (truncated ensembles) for Gold codes with optimal values of the correlation functions by the mini-max criterion. In the work, an algorithm for constructing truncated ensembles is presented, offering comparable results in relation to the exhaustive brute force search algorithm, which takes a long time. The algorithm can reduce an ensemble to any number of codes, removing the least effective codes in terms of cross-correlation. Plots of energy gain in relation to ensemble volume and comparative BER diagrams are presented.

The efficiency with which the position of a levitated nanoparticle is detected is one factor that sets the minimum temperature of the particle’s center-of-mass motion that can be achieved by feedback cooling. Typically, the detection is based on the interference of the light scattered by the particle with a reference Gaussian beam in a homodyne setup [1] - [3] . This detection scheme is limited by the wavefront mismatch between the scattered and the reference fields and by the numerical aperture (NA) of the lens that collects the scattered light. As a result of these limitations, temperatures close to the ground state have only been achieved in experiments exploiting high NA objectives (> 0.8), namely, optical-tweezer-based experiments [1] , [2] . Here, we demonstrate how the detection efficiency can be improved in a setup based on homodyne detection, by improving the mode-matching conditions and by increasing the sensitivity of the interference pattern to the displacement of the particle.

This research is devoted to the digital literacy in Russia. The study focuses on the students since the resent political events in Russia indicate that young people could be mobilized by political campaigning in social media. The article offers the results of a national panel survey of students in higher education institutions and universities (N = 632). As a result of this work, we have received valuable material for describing the phenomenon of digital literacy in Russia and its importance to the political communication.

This paper aims to study anonymous communication strategy in the Telegram. Telegram is a new cloud-messenger that is highly popular among bloggers and media in Russia and Belarus. Established by Pavel Durov in 2013, it offers secure and anonymous communication features. Anonymous communication has been studied by many scholars (Choudhury, Sharon, Watt, Zhang, etc), but it seems that more questions are left unanswered. This paper starts distinguishing anonymity from related notions of confidentiality and secrecy, privacy, and publicity. We provide some vocabulary to talk about anonymization and identification efforts by message sources and receivers. The paper highlights some of the limitations of current communication scholarship in this area such as anonymous communication strategy. The growing role of the Telegram messenger in the mass communications systems of Russia and Belarus indicates new opportunities for anonymous communication strategy in the digital society. The research methodology is based on a comparative analysis of statistical data on the audience of the leading Telegram news channels. The authors argue that the anonymous communication strategy has taken an important share of the market in both countries. In a comparative aspect, the indicators of the involvement of Telegram channels were analyzed. The main results of the study show that the use of various Telegram features both as a messenger and as a full-fledged media is constantly increasing. The intensity of the use of the messenger has increased and the variety of functions it performs has also increased. It has been established that the Telegram platform contributes to strengthening feedback from the audience. Chatbots have become a new opportunity to receive information from readers. The authors conclude that alternative Telegram channels play an important role in the digital environment.

The pathways of efficiency increase of pump-turbines are considered. It is revealed that one of the perspective ways is to use runners with additional shortened blades - splitters. The description and characteristics of the test stand in the laboratory of hydromachines of the A. Pidgorny Institute of mechanical engineering problems of the NAS of Ukraine (IPMash) and their compliance with the requirements of the International Standard for conducting research of hydraulic machines is presented. The description of methods of design and manufacture of four variants of runners with splitters with different lengths: 50, 65, 80 and 100% relative to the main blade is presented. For all variants of flow parts, experimental characteristics in pump mode were obtained and plotted. The influence of the splitter geometrical parameters on the values of maximum efficiency and the parameters of the optimum mode are revealed. The dependences of efficiency and head on the flow rate for all variants of runners with splitters at different values of the guide vane opening are given. The effect of splitter length on the energy characteristics of the pump-turbine in the pump mode is revealed. The comparison of energy and pressure characteristics of flow parts with seven- and eight-blade runners is given.
