This study aimed to employ the recently developed fuzzy measure entropy (FuzzyMEn) method to compare the difference in heart rate variability (HRV) between rest and exercise states in hypoxic environment. Four healthy male volunteers were enrolled in this study. For each subject, electrocardiography (ECG) and finger pulse were recorded in ten days to obtain the heart rate (HR) time series. For each day, the measurement lasted 150 min and was divided into six consecutive experimental sections: 3 repeat rest sections (each 30 min) and 3 repeat exercise sections (each 20 min). The repeat rest and repeat exercise sections were in turn. In each rest or exercise section, the segment of HR time series from the second 5 min episode (from the 6th min to the 10th min) was selected for the FuzzyMEn calculation. The effects of subject, day, repeat measurement and state (rest or exercise) on the FuzzyMEn were investigated. Irradiation embrittlement appears due to Reactor Pressure Vessels (RPV) service under strong neutron irradiation for a long time. It is an important reason of accelerating the aging of RPV. As a special part of nuclear power plant (NPP), it decides the life of the whole NPP. Thus, it is necessary to estimate the current state of embrittlement and predict the trends of embrittlement through a new method. In order to predict the degree of RPV steel irradiation embrittlement and development trends and take the particularity of neutrons into consideration, this paper simulates the effects of neutron irradiation based on using different charged particles to replace neutron and using Barkhausen noise technology to detect the irradiation embrittlement of “Irradiation Steel”. Explore the relationship between the degree of Irradiation embrittlement of “Irradiation Steel” and charged particle irradiation dose. Finally, it draws conclusions that different charged particles have certain relevance in the aspect of irradiation and the characteristic values of BN signal have the overall tendency that they reduce along with the increase of irradiation dose. The inclusions build up references for irradiation embrittlement research of RPV steel under neutron irradiation.

Appropriate response of immune system to variety antigen is the key organisms to maintain a stable internal environment. It mainly depends on the regulation of T cell. The function of T cells is both active and inhibitive, which provides immune system with fast response and adequate stabilization. Based on the immune system regulating law and comparison the control system and the immune system, an immune PID controller is proposed in this paper. The effects of parameters of immune PID controller are described. Simulation results obtained for wood drying control system with parameters changing and perturbations demonstrate the effectiveness of the immune PID control system.

College English Test Band Four (CET4) in China has been a significant impact on evaluating the English preliminary level of a college student or a class. How to improve the college English teaching and go further to raise passing rate of CET4 are a challenge for many colleges and universities. This paper makes an attempt to quantitatively analyze the CET4 and exam-related factors by using fussy decision tree technique and active learning based on uncertainty. Several features are selected to formulate this problem. The weighted margin is proposed as the new uncertainty measure criterion for unlabeled instance, and a density measure is introduced for avoiding selecting isolated instances. Experiments and simulations on different classes of students show the proposed quantitative analysis method is feasible and effective, which can provide teachers with some useful guidelines for how to improve the college English teaching.

Fe 2 O s /γ-Al 2 O 3 catalyst was prepared by impregnation method and characterized by powder X-ray diffraction (XRD) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and test results show that, Fe203 crystal was compounded on γ-Al 2 O 3 carrier. Fe 2 O 3 /γ-Al 2 O 3 /H 2 O 2 and Fe 2 O 3 /γ-Al 2 O 3 /H 2 O 2 /UV processes were tested and optimized to remediate organic material of phenol. An initial phenol concentration of 250mg/L was used as representative of a phenolic industrial wastewater. The experiment optimized the effects of preparation conditions on behaviors of Fe 2 O 3 /γ-Al 2 O 3 catalyst and the processes to degrade phenol in aqueous environments. The experimental results showed that the removal of phenol with Fe 2 O 3 /γ-Al 2 O 3 /H 2 O 2 /UV was more complete than with Fe 2 O 3 /γ-Al 2 O 3 /H 2 O 2 and degradation of phenol can reach 94.7% after the reaction for 2 h.

On the basis of the summary for the development and application of brush less DC motor speed-variable system, this thesis introduces a control system which uses TMS320F28335 to control the commutation and the speed of BLDCM. The basic structure, operational principle and design method of this system are set forth in this thesis. The thought of hardware design and software programming is introduced as well.

Statistics of science and technology is not only a daily task of technology sector, but also an important reference for government decision. How it is possible to deal statistics data by computer system automatically? It is a goal for information system specialists and scientific and technical workers. We studied many documentations and reports of statistics for science and technology in Kunming and other province. So we provided a knowledge base of statistics based categories theory and ontology, and found the computing principle on the knowledge base. Our innovation is the way to build the knowledge base for statistics of science and technology which can accommodate all the statistics information of concepts and specification and design and perform strategies people desired. This paper provided ideas to statistics computing automatically.

This paper presents a novel adaptive tracking algorithm that fuses multiple cues based on feature uncertainty measurement in the particle filter framework. We first introduce a self-adaptive multi-cue fusion strategy, which overcomes the drawbacks of the traditional product fusion and sum fusion strategies. Furthermore, the proposed strategy effectively sharpens the distribution of the fused posterior as well as makes the tracking results less sensitive to the noise. Then, based on the fact that tracking failure often happens in the cases of low discriminative abilities of the observed features, we define a new feature uncertainty measurement. The proposed uncertainty measurement is thereafter used to adaptively adjust the relative contributions of different cues to tracking. An extensive number of comparative experiments show that the proposed tracking algorithm is more stable and robust than the single feature, product fusion, and sum fusion tracking algorithms.

Textures is one of the keys in image pattern recognition. To realize the computer vision for textures, it is necessary that understand textures rationally. The key of understanding textures is explaining them by the human's signs and approaches. We believe the mathematical structure of categories is similar to human's rational intelligence. In this paper, we describe the common textures by notes and term in categories theory. It means categories are useful for textures and image recognition. The combination of categories and neural network is worth to research which will gradually reveal the unity way of human's percept and rationality.

This paper discusses the soccer robot orientation method which is based on sight, and locates soccer robot by using method based on color shape as well as establishes threshold segmentation, edge detection and the model of Hough transform for circle detection with an emphasis in threshold segmentation and Hough transform. Several methods are used for threshold segmentation, evident difference of images processed by different methods exists, this paper proposes Otsu self-adaptive threshold algorithm, which performs well in precision and anti-interference, as main method for threshold segmentation. Considering of many defects of Hough transform used for circular object detection, this paper proposes Hough transform based on gradient, which gets desirable result.

A modeling method for FDTD analysis of microwave circuits including scattering parameters with limited bandwidth is proposed. It is applied to analyze a typical amplifier at 6GHz to demonstrate its validness and efficiency.

The use of a boundary layer in sliding-mode control has been a common technique to reduce chattering of the control signal. However, different choices of the boundary layer width lead to conflicting effects: A large/small width of the boundary layer can more/less effectively alleviate the chattering of the control, but can lead to less/more accurate control results. This note applies fuzzy logic based on the state to adjusting the width of the boundary layer. This method can effectively eliminate chattering while at the same time ensure almost perfect control accuracy.
