A general receiver framework associated with multicarrier schemes is presented towards the doubly dispersive medium under fast-mobile environments. Here, by reexamining the channel impacts via Set theory, a new valuable finding in this work demonstrates that besides the common knowledge of the ISI/ICI effect led by dispersions, the permanent information damages is additionally incurred in current systems. To protect the information integrity, a novel receiver structure built by the Gabor frame basis is, therefore, proposed with its parallel filters rearranged over the TF-plane for the joint signal reception, rather than the matched filter bank as usual. Then at detector, the data sequences are decided by the MMSE-based Sphere-Decoding technique. It is indicated by the simulation results that about 1.2dB improvement will be yielded by the proposed reception technique as compared with its predecessors within a large spread-factor scale up to 0.01.
