The problem of increasing the performance of batteries operating under severe temperature conditions is of current interest for the development of stand-alone energy systems. The system maintaining battery optimal temperature is proposed. The system combines battery thermal insulation, heating and monitoring and allows maintaining battery temperature with minimum energy consumption. The paper describes the experimental study of the proposed system. The experimental results analysis indicates internal resistance decrease of 47.9% and discharge energy increase of 55.7% and proves the technical efficiency of the system.
