In order to improve the current use of the cutting machine, so that it can achieve unattended and continuous work. An automatic steel wire-changing cutting device consisting of PLC control system, hydraulic push rod mechanism, sensor monitoring system and wire-changing mechanism was designed. The working principle of the fault monitoring system in the blank cutting device, the flow and the way of the signal processing of the control system, the characteristics of the hydraulic putter mechanism, and the design and working mode of the automatic wire changing mechanism were described. This device can effectively improve the efficiency of brick production, reduce production costs and enhance the safety performance of production.

PM2.5 detector has been designed based on ARM technology with PM2.5 laser sensor. The detector can detect the concentration of PM2.5 in the current environment in real-time, with three functions including of voice broadcast, LCD real-time display and air quality level LED light alert.

The intelligent question answering system based ontology can automatically generate the related knowledge areas of more comprehensive questions and corresponding answers so that students who input questions, generally can immediately find the answer in the knowledge base. The utilization on the student to question answering system is greatly improved, and the students' interest for excellent courses are enhanced.

Automatic suitable-matching area selection is an important research in visual guidance, scene matching and local non-texture target tracking. Meanwhile, it is the major research subject in computer vision and accurate guidance. In this paper, a new characteristic quantity, i.e., the edge direction dispersion was defined. Then the computation method, parameters selection and real-time realization of this characteristic quantity were investigated. Furthermore, the application of its characteristic in automatic suitable-matching area selection was studied. With a reasonable design for calculation precision, solving method for arctan(x) function in [−∞, +∞] could be simplified to linearization calculations in [0, 0.25], then a fast algorithm for arctan(x) function was presented. Experimental results showed that the sub-image extracted by our fast algorithm had higher matching level and was suitable to be a matching template. All the calculations involved in the proposed matching algorithm could be done in one filed period and the real-time request could be satisfied. Moreover, this characteristic of edge direction could also be used to measure the comparability of template and real-time images, which could be widely used in automatic target recognition and target tracking.

Optimization of real estate portfolio is to select two or more different types of real estate for investment, and the previous models based on expected return-variance cannot meet the needs of the investors. Furthermore, the investors change their risk preference with the risk level. In this study, firstly, the semi-variance model of real estate investment portfolio based on risk preference coefficient was constructed. The return per unit of risk is the key factor to determine an investment decision. Secondly, artificial bee colony algorithm (ABC) was employed to solve the constructed model. Finally, a real-world case was analyzed to verify the performance of ABC. The result indicated that ABC could generate better solution than GA and it could be regarded as a useful approach for solving real estate portfolio problem.

With respect to decision table, especially the inconsistent ones. On the basis of equivalent partitions, This paper quantifies the elements in the same class deduced by condition attribute belonging to different decision attribute classes, generates the discernibility matrix and measures the indexes of attribute significance reasonable, and then uses these formulas as heuristic information to design a heuristic algorithm for attribute reduction. Moreover, a process of reducing again is used in it in order to eliminate redundancy attribute. Finally, an example demonstates the attribute reduction algorithm can be used in decision tables effectively.

The bioactive of polysaccharides have relationship with their molecular weight. Agarcus blazei Murill (ABM) polysaccharides were extracted by membranes technology, and were graded according to the molecular weight using the combined method of microfiltration (MF), ultrafiltration (UF) and nanofiltration (NF) membrane modules. The effect of gradation were indicated by the high performance gel permeation chromatography (HPGPC), and lymphocyte proliferations in the different molecular weight ABM at the concentration range of 10 ~ 800 mug/ml were detected with MTT method.
