The lug structure is commonly used in docking, wing assembly, and engine installation. Accuracy of lugs has become a key matter. The end face and hole axis usually be measured by a laser tracker with a Probe. For some dual-lug structure, the axis is measured from the middle of the two lugs, which is difficult to arrange the tracker site. We study the measurement accessibility of the structure and gives the maximum measurement range. After that, we study the feasible attitudes of Probe and the attitude distribution envelope function of the center of the Probe. Then we get the site distribute of the laser tracker. Using the method could determine the site distribution of the laser tracker when measuring the dual-lugs. Through this method, we can improve the measurement efficiency and optimizing the measurement process.
