Abstract

In the location based query services, the historical query data contains the correlation probabilities between the location and the points of interest. With the difference of these probabilities, the attacker can launch a history matching correlation attack to obtain users' location privacy. In order to solve this problem, we first analyze the basic characteristics of this attack by depicting the relationship between entities with binary chart. A cor-k algorithm is proposed on the basis of the Λ-anonymity algorithm. This algorithm blurs the matching correlation of query location efficiently, and prevents the attack of history matching correlation. Experiments show that the method can be finished in a relatively short period of time, and is suitable for deployment in a real environment.

Abstract

In current, RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) Middleware is widely used in nearly all RFID applications, and provides service for raw data capturing, security data reading/writing as well as sensors controlling. However, as the existing Middlewares were organized with rigorous data comparison and data encryption, it is seriously affecting the usefulness and execution efficiency. Thus, in order to improve the utilization rate of effective data, increase the reading/writing speed as well as preserving the security of RFID, this paper proposed a PSO (Particle swarm optimization) clustering scheme to accelerate the procedure of data operation. Then with the help of PSO cluster, the RFID Middleware can provide better service for both data security and data availability. At last, a comparative experiment is proposed, which is used to further verify the advantage of our proposed scheme.

Abstract

In recent years, with the development of deep learning (DL), the hyperspectral image (HSI) classification methods based on DL have shown superior performance. Although these DL-based methods have great successes, there is still room to improve their ability to explore spatial–spectral information. In this article, we propose a 3-D octave convolution with the spatial–spectral attention network (3DOC-SSAN) to capture discriminative spatial–spectral features for the classification of HSIs. Especially, we first extend the octave convolution model using 3-D convolution, namely, a 3-D octave convolution model (3D-OCM), in which four 3-D octave convolution blocks are combined to capture spatial–spectral features from HSIs. Not only the spatial information can be mined deeply from the high- and low-frequency aspects but also the spectral information can be taken into account by our 3D-OCM. Second, we introduce two attention models from spatial and spectral dimensions to highlight the important spatial areas and specific spectral bands that consist of significant information for the classification tasks. Finally, in order to integrate spatial and spectral information, we design an information complement model to transmit important information between spatial and spectral attention features. Through the information complement model, the beneficial parts of spatial and spectral attention features for the classification tasks can be fully utilized. Abstract

Superconducting β = 1 quarter-wave geometry of 166.6 MHz has been proposed as main accelerating cavities for the high-energy photon source (HEPS) storage ring. HEPS is a 6-GeV kilometer-scale synchrotron light source promising ultralow emittance currently being constructed in Beijing. A proof-of-principle cavity has been previously in-house developed and vertical-tested achieving excellent cryogenic performances. A helium jacket was subsequently designed adopting a simple structure and an integrated magnetic field shielding. The mechanical properties of the dressed cavity were largely improved focusing on pressure sensitivity, stress, and Lorentz force detuning, while frequency tunability and microphonics were carefully monitored. Elastic buckling and fatigue were also examined. The helium jacket was later fabricated and welded directly with the niobium cavity. Mounted with an input power coupler and tuners, the dressed cavity was finally assembled in a modified cryomodule and tested at both 4.2 and 2.0 K. The favored low-pressure sensitivity and small Lorentz force detuning were confirmed. Microphonics spectrum was scanned and measured, presenting good consistencies with simulation predictions. Finally, the cavity was successfully tuned to the operating frequency of 166.6 MHz at cold and its frequency could be regulated within a ±3-Hz range. Abstract

Power terminal communication access network (PTCAN) is an important network for smart grid applications due to its ability of monitoring and remotely controlling smart power distribution devices and carrying the consumer information. In this paper, a hierarchical genetic algorithm is proposed to plan and optimize the Industrial Ethernet based PTCAN. The key idea of the algorithm is to transform the tree-form topology of power distribution network to a ring-form topology of PTCAN. A depth-first pre-order traversal based chromosome initialization method is raised in this paper and a hierarchical planning scheme is proposed to simplified the algorithm complexity. Corresponding evaluation and selection function, crossover and mutation method are designed and described in detail. At last, a simulation is performed, the result shows our algorithm is fully feasible and has advantages of faster convergence rate and better performance.

Abstract

In this paper, the problem of traffic grooming, routing and spectrum assignment is investigated in time-division-multiplexing elastic optical networks. The Markov-based mechanism—predicting the future status of consumed time slots—is also proposed. Next, we design the corresponding time-division-multiplexing elastic waveband switching algorithms, mainly including RSBMA-EEU-TDM (Routing, Spectrum, Band and Modulation Allocation based on End-to-End Uniform band merging and Time Division Multiplexing), RSBMA-SBN-TDM (RSBMA based on SuBpath Non-uniform band merging and TDM), and RSBMA-Balance-TDM (RSBMA based on Balance and TDM). Simulation results show that the proposed heuristics—Markov-based TDM elastic waveband switching—perform well.

Abstract

This paper presents an estimate for the influence of service time on the conduction current characteristics of a 10 kV AC XLPE. The experimental conduction current results show that the space charge accumulation threshold increases with service time. Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) experiments show increased thermo-oxidative aging and reduced crystallinity as the service time increases. This results in deeper traps in the XLPE material which can be verified from isothermal surface potential decay experiments. Based on the experimental results, the numerical analysis of thermo-electric fields is carried out for 10 kV AC XLPE cables with different service times under bipolar DC operation mode. It shows that the DC power for 10 kV AC XLPE cable in bipolar DC operation is higher than the AC power, whereas the DC operating voltage and DC power increases with the service time. In order to ensure a safe and long service life of the cables in DC operation, a conductor temperature of 60 °C and DC operating voltage of 11 kV are recommended for 10 kV AC XLPE cables in bipolar DC operation. Abstract

This paper studies the QoS classification problem in the electric power communication networks. A new QoS classification optimization algorithm is proposed based on the mixed artificial fish swarm algorithm, by considering energy efficiency. Firstly, a QoS classification optimization network model is built. The network delay and package loss ratio about the network model is described. Secondly, because network throughput and package loss ratio are related to the QoS level, the network delay and packet loss ratios used to describe the energy consumption and throughput model of networks. Then we build the optimal model of energy efficiency of networks. The hybrid artificial fish swarm algorithm is exploited to solve this model. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm is promising.

31. Inferring Emotions From Large-Scale Internet Voice Data.

Abstract

As voice dialog applications (VDAs, e.g., Siri, 1 http://www.apple.com/ios/siri/. Cortana, 2 http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/mobile/campaign-cortana/. Google Now 3 http://www.google.com/landing/now/.) are increasing in popularity, inferring emotions from the large-scale internet voice data generated from VDAs can help give a more reasonable and humane response. However, the tremendous amounts of users in large-scale internet voice data lead to a great diversity of users accents and expression patterns. Therefore, the traditional speech emotion recognition methods, which mainly target acted corpora, cannot effectively handle the massive and diverse amount of internet voice data. To address this issue, we carry out a series of observations, find suitable emotion categories for large-scale internet voice data, and verify the indicators of the social attributes (query time, query topic, and users location) and emotion inferring. Based on our observations, two different strategies are employed to solve the problem. First, a deep sparse neural network model that uses acoustic information, textual information, and three indicators (a temporal indicator, descriptive indicator, and geo-social indicator) as the input is proposed. Then, to capture the contextual information, we propose a hybrid emotion inference model that includes long short-term memory to capture the acoustic features and a latent dirichlet allocation to extract text features. Experiments on 93 000 utterances collected from the Sogou Voice Assistant 4 http://yy.sogou.com. (Chinese Siri) validate the effectiveness of the proposed methodologies. Wireless sensor unit is important part of the Internet of Things, which is responsible for signal acquisition and transmission. In order to ensure reliability and security of the Internet of Things, electromagnetic disturbance issue in substation where wireless sensors are usually located is studied. This paper focuses on the electromagnetic disturbance to wireless sensor unit generated by power system and immunity of wireless sensor unit. Research on characteristics of steady-state electromagnetic disturbance in substations of different voltage levels and of different insulation types is performed, through field measurements. Statistical characteristics of electromagnetic disturbance in frequency domain are obtained, based on extensive field measurement data. Simulation is applied to reveal influence of electromagnetic disturbance to wireless sensor unit. Immunity of wireless sensor unit in the Internet of Things in substation is studied. Experiment indicates that wireless sensor unit is influenced by electromagnetic disturbance and immunity test of wireless sensor unit are performed.

Abstract

Audio-visual speech synthesis is the core function for realizing face-to-face human–computer communication. While considerable efforts have been made to enable talking with computer like people, how to integrate the emotional expressions into the audio-visual speech synthesis remains largely a problem. In this paper, we adopt the notion of Pleasure–Displeasure, Arousal–Nonarousal, and Dominance–Submissiveness (PAD) 3-D-emotional space, in which emotions can be described and quantified from three different dimensions. Based on this new definition, we propose a unified model for emotional speech conversion using Boosting-Gaussian mixture model (GMM), as well as a facial expression synthesis model. We further present an emotional audio-visual speech synthesis approach. Specifically, we take the text and the target PAD values as input, and employ the text-to-speech (TTS) engine to first generate the neutral speeches. Then the Boosting-GMM is used to convert the neutral speeches to emotional speeches, and the facial expression is synthesized simultaneously. Finally, the acoustic features of the emotional speech are used to modulate the facial expression in the audio-visual speech. We designed three objective and five subjective experiments to evaluate the performance of each model and the overall approach. Our experimental results on audio-visual emotional speech datasets show that the proposed approach can effectively and efficiently synthesize natural and expressive emotional audio-visual speeches.
