This paper exclaims analysis of bifurcation and chaos phenomena in a 3-bus electrical power system model. The nonlinear dynamic modeling of proposed power system is achieved using generator, load models and equivalent circuit of 3-bus model. The reactive power of the motor is considered as a varying or bifurcation parameter and existence of dynamic behaviors like bifurcation and chaos in 3-bus power system model is discussed via. phase plane, time series plot, bifurcation diagram, Lyapunov spectrum and Poincare map. PID sliding surface-based sliding mode control is designed to control undesirable chaotic behavior in the proposed 3-bus power system and is not available in the literature. Simulation is achieved in MATLAB environment and obtained results show successful achievement of the objectives.

The research work employs a robust fuzzy aided tilt controller as secondary frequency control loop to obtain stability in frequency and active power of a hybrid power network under different loadings. A novel multi verse optimization (MVO) technique has been proposed to choose best optimal parameters of suggested fuzzy tilt controller. The automation of power generation irrespective of demand is called automatic generation control (AGC) and has great impact over system stability. The study goes through different comparative studies such as technique comparison and controller comparison to defend superiority of proposed MVO algorithm and suggested tilt fuzzy controller. The research study on AGC has been carried in MATLAB smulink environment. An advanced fitness function called integral of time multiplied absolute error (ITAE) has been suggested to develop improved performance of the system under different disturbances. It has been concluded that projected MVO oriented fuzzy tilt controller shows outstanding performance for governing active power generation of the proposed hybrid system.

The microgrid has an ability to electrify most of isolated and remote areas significantly. Microgrids are commonly structured with the integration of various renewable energy based distributed generating (DG) sources like wind plant, solar plant, fuel cell along with few conventional micro sources such as diesel engine generator, micro-turbine etc. Most of DG systems experience low inertia and large dynamics which could affect the system frequency seriously. The uncertainties like wind fluctuation, solar energy variation and load dynamics degrades the system performance especially frequency of the mcrogrid seriously. A control action has to be highly required to maintain nominal frequency under above uncertainties. The present research paper proposes a robust fractional order multi stage controller to make necessary control over system frequency under wind and solar power uncertainties. A novel grasshopper algorithm has been employed to design optimally to the above projectrd controller. Finally, the suggested grasshopper designed fractional order multi stage controller is found to be more useful in observe to the frequency control of micrgrd model.

The prime aim of this paper is to address automatic generation control of a bulky, and intricate power system containing boiler dynamics, generation rate constraints, and governor dead band non-linearities. Along this, the instability caused by inertia less photovoltaic (PV) source is brought into the discourse. To bring the deviations of frequency, and tie-line power inside a particular limit, a reliable, proficient, and expert controller is essential. To have this, higher degrees-of-freedom (DOF) structure is conglomerated with proportional-integral-derivative (PID) controller coordinated by fractional-order (FO) operator to develop 2/3DOF-FOPID controller. Further, these controllers are upgraded to 2/3 DOF-FOPIDN controller by adjoining derivative filter (N). The PID, 2DOF-FOPIDN, and 3DOF-FOPIDN controllers are designed by SOS algorithm. The performance shows that the higher DOF based controllers outweigh the 1DOF-PID controller, and simultaneously, the 3DOF-FOPIDN controller works fabulously over 2DOF-FOPIDN controller. Close by this assessments, the potential, and reliability of 3DOF-FOPIDN controller has been inspected by injecting variable load/PV generation.

To meet the demand of quality power, design of reliable power filter is highly essential. The harmonics in current and voltage is one of the challenging power quality problems and its elimination is a major requirement. The design of a shunt active power filter, SAPF for a micro grid MG based on PV and fuel cell is focused to reduce the harmonic effect in this paper. Here a PI controller is applied to regulate the filter dc voltage. The reference current is generated by the use of instantaneous reactive power theory. The craziness PSO is used to obtain the optimized PI controller gains. The detailed micro grid structure is developed and simulated with a balanced R-L and nonlinear load. The simulation result depicted that the total harmonic distortion is minimized.

The research work on automatic generation control (AGC) of a multi area power system has been well addressed in this article. In order to obtain AGC under dynamic load, the authors have proposed a degree of freedom oriented integral and double derivative controller. The degree of freedom nature of proposed 2DOF-IDD controller gracefully improves the overall performances under any disturbances. A multi objective JAYA algorithm has been suggested to optimally design the proposed 2DOF-IDD controller under different functional conditions. The performance of proposed 2DOF-IDD controller has been investigated through a standard comparative study over 2DOF-PID and 2DOF-PI control control approach for generation control of the proposed plant under study. The dynamic performance of suggested JAYA algorithm has been compared over flower pollination algorithm (FPA), cuckoo search algorithm (CSA) and genetic algorithm (GA). An improved objective function called integral of time multiplied by absolute error (ITAE) has been considered while optimizing parameters of proposed 2DOF-IDD controller. The proposed power system integrated with the wind power station is modeled with existing conventional system for improving overall rating of the system. Finally, it is inferred from various simulated results that suggested JAYA algorithm based 2DOF-IDD controller is better in regard to AGC of hybrid power system.

The present article highlights over frequency stabilization of an autonomous AC micro grid beneath various uncertainties. The micro grid comprises various distribution generations (DG) for generating power to meet respective demands. However the low inertia and huge dynamic nature of most DG systems puts adverse effect over system frequency. The inherent dynamic nature of load and various uncertainties i.e, wind fluctuations, solar intensity variation creates frequency instabilities in the autonomous grid. In order to improve system dynamic behavior especially system frequency under such disturbances, the article has suggested a fuzzy rule based PID controller (fuzzy PID) for necessary control actions in the micro grid system. A nature inspired dragon fly algorithm (DFA) is proposed to optimal design the suggested fuzzy PID controller. Finally, the performances of proposed DFA optimized fuzzy PID controller is compared with PI and PID control strategy to justify its superiority under various operating regions.

In this paper a simple parsing for Odia Language using Context-Free Grammar (CFG) is shown. Parsing is a technique used for building a sentence automatically in the phrases of grammar as well as in lexicon using syntactic analysis. It also includes semantic analysis and syntactic analysis that basically attention on parsing for Odia Language based on Panini method, Context Free Grammar along with top down approach. All the things are being represented as simple tree primarily formalism in context free grammar. Noun Phrase Chunking, Tokenization, Morphological Analysis and Part of Speech Tagging are being described briefly for Odia Language.
