Development of very-high-resolution (VHR) remote sensing imaging platforms have resulted in a requirement for developing refined land cover classification maps for various applications. Therefore, aiming at exploring the accurate boundary and complex interior texture retrieval in VHR optical remote sensing images, a novel detail injection network (DI-Net) is proposed in this article, which is composed of three aspects. First, the decoupling refinement module embedded with a multiscale representation is designed to improve the feature extraction capabilities that precede the encoding-to-decoding process. Second, we pay attention to the hard examples of boundary and complex interior texture in land cover classification and design two detail injection attention modules to solve the feature inactivation phenomenon in gradually convolutional encoding-to-decoding process. Third, a specific stage grading loss is proposed to adaptively regulate the structural-level weights of the encoding and decoding stages, which facilitates the details retrieval and produce refined land cover classification results. Finally, various datasets [ incl. International Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ISPRS) and Gaofen Image Dataset (GID)] are employed to demonstrate that the proposed DI-Net achieves better performance than state-of-the-art methods. DI-Net provides more accurate boundaries and more consistent interior textures, and it achieves 86.86% PA and 68.37% mIoU on ISPRS dataset as well as 77.04% PA and 64.38% mIoU on GID dataset, respectively.

The optical remote sensing images are used to sea-land segmentation which is a difficult task. Due to general deep learning based methods required a large number of refined annotation, however, a large scale optical remote sensing images annotation is very expensive. Therefore, the Context-Unet is proposed to produce accurate sea-land segmentation results by a few annotated training samples. In this paper, we apply the Context-Unet network to the watershed extraction. On the basis of this, we re-compile the loss function to improve the accuracy of watershed extraction. Example: Finally, the date collected from Google Earth service is used to train and test this paper proposed Context-Unet and state-o-the-art methods. The experiments proved that the proposed method outperforms than other methods, and it can achieve 98% precision and 97% recall ratios.

Theoretical and numerical calculationsare performed to study the interaction of high nonlinear solitary waves(HNSWs) in one-dimensional particle chains and viscoelastic infinite plate. We use theRunge-kutta method to solve thecompletely coupled differential equation systemand obtain the numerical solutions of velocity and displacement of each particle in the particle chains. By comparing the time difference and energy ratio of reflected wave and incident wave, it is found that solitary waves is sensitive to the thickness and viscosity coefficient of viscoelastic infinite plate in a certain range.The results provide theoretical basis for non-destructive testing(NDT) technology based on nonlinear solitary waves.

For water resource analysis applications, due to very high resolution and large observation scope, optical remote sensing images can present more visible object characters. Water-land segmentation from optical remote sensing images is wildly used and becomes a hot research topic. However, since large scale complex background scenes include many interferences, the water-land segmentation from optical remote sensing images becomes a challenge task. Aim to achieve better water area feature description from complex land cover background, we apply a sub-neighbor system convolutional neural network (SNS-CNN) to the water-land segmentation in harbor scene areas. First, on the basis of the U-net structure, an optimized up-sampling process is proposed to enhance water area feature expression. Second, a novel sub-neighbor system constraint of each predicted pixel point is leaded into the loss function to make the model producing water mask more coherent. Furthermore, experiments on our collected variety of optical remote sensing images demonstrate that this paper proposed water-land segmentation method can produce better performance than state of the art methods.

A slot antenna configuration is proposed to enhance the bandwidth at lower band of mobile communication. The slot is composed of two rectangles forming L shape. The antenna is fed by a 50 Ω microstrip connected to a U-shaped strip. A C-shaped strip is mounted vertically to the circuit board. The measured −6dB bandwidth of the proposed antenna covers 0.69–0.98 GHz, 2.19–3.36 GHz, and 4.03–5GHz.

Moving objects, for example vehicles, vessels, people, are being instrumented with Internet of Things devices such as GPS, environmental sensors, mobile cameras that produce big streaming data with spatial-temporal features enabling application innovations in many industries for autonomous driving, usage based insurance, fleet management, etc. We introduce an analytics framework to streamline the insights discovery from such big data on top of geographic map by pulling together a list of commonly required high performance functions with service-oriented architecture. Supported by a service composition approach, comprehensive applications intelligently managing moving objects could be built effectively. Example applications in connected vehicle domains are presented to illustrate the effectiveness of such a framework.

A slot antenna configuration is proposed for UWB applications. The slot has a hybrid shape of the combination of a close-ended circle and an open-ended rectangle. The feeding structure of the slot is comprised of a 50 Ω microstrip connected to a circular patch and an open-ended patch, forming an inverted-L shape with circular corner. The antenna has a compact size of 21×26 mm2 printed on a 0.8 mm thick FR4. The measured −10dB bandwidth of the proposed antenna covers 3.03–11 GHz.

A slot antenna configuration is proposed for multi-standard multifunction mobile handset. The slot has a hybrid shape of the combination of a close-ended circle and two rectangles. The feeding structure of the slot is comprised of a 50 Ω microstrip connected to a circular patch and an open-ended strip, a T-shaped step is adopted to connect the circular patch and the microstrip. The proposed antenna were fabricated by two methods, one of which is corroding double-layered copper covered FR4 board by acid, and the other is cutting copper foil. The method of cutting copper foil has the virtues of low cost and easy fabrication, it works well below 6GHz. The measured −6dB bandwidth of the proposed antenna covers 0.69–0.975 GHz and 2.09–3.32GHz.

In this paper, totally based on the opinions in "Strategy Safari", we try to make analysis on modern strategy management theory in the way modern economy has introduced and practices in their researches, including new "perspective", "reference" and "analytical tools". Finally, we have established a new three-dimension (external controllable environment factors, external uncontrollable environment and internal environment factors) strategy model based on equilibrium and dynamic perspectives, an effective reference of universal theory basis, and an analytical method system involving scientific and flexible characters, so as to provide a systematic analysis on strategy management in newly-developed market environment nowadays.

Multi-tenancy supporting becomes a basic characteristic of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) operation. In multi-tenancy environment, tenant placement problem is critical for balance the database server workload. In this paper, we discuss how the cross-tenant data access affects the workload and how to optimize resource utilization in tenant placement process. This paper comes up with a SaaS tenant data lifecycle framework to capture the placement determinant factors. According to the framework, a formal placement algorithm is presented based on a formal model of tenant data and a resource estimation method. As a result of the formalization, several suggestions for data center host to minimize the workload of database servers are presented.

This article is based on the remote sensing stereo pair imagery choosing DEM for the main research content. And it has conducted the practice research and drawn the beneficial conclusion regarding the phantom three-dimensional match and based on Rational function model IKONOS exploded view localization and the DEM construction. At the same time it has completed the whole procedure by using the MATLAB language, realizing the DEM automatic extraction.

In this paper, direct power control based on the virtual flux (VF-DPC) of the three-phase voltage-type PWM rectifier is presented and the formation mechanism of the switching table is analyzed. In Matlab / simulink environment the model of the VF-DPC system is established. The simulink results show that the system has good dynamic response and a good way to achieve active power and reactive power control, while ensuring the input side of the unity power factor control. Compared with the existing current control strategy, VF-DPC system without complicated algorithms and PWM modulation block can achieve higher power factor and low harmonic disturbance (THD).

In the era of globalization, the environment for firm growth has greatly changed during the past several decades, especially in the areas of international trade and production organization models of enterprises. Which means enterprises around the world inevitably get involved in global production networks (GPNs) and global value chains (GVCs). This paper aims to analyze the relation between knowledge acquisition and firm growth in this new firm growth environment and propose a new analytical framework of knowledge diffusion and acquisition by reviewing related literatures. It is concluded that enterprises in China should pay attention on five aspects for gaining knowledge they needed.

Because the dental structure is irregular and particular, an automatic segmentation algorithm is proposed, which is based on fuzzy maximum entropy theory and region growing method. It achieves automatic acquisition of thresholds and seeds, and gets an accurate segmentation results. With the help of ICM algorithm, it resolves the problem of excessive calculation in the process of automatic threshold acquisition. The applications prove that the new algorithm is intuitive, simple, robust and easy to implement.

The paper studies signal processing for the annual runoff processes of the Tarim headwater basin. By utilizing the wavelet and R/S analysis, the main findings are generalized as follows: (1) The annual runoff processes of the three headwaters of the Tarim River are complex nonlinear systems, which show nonlinear trends, as well as fractals, and long-term correlation. (2) In the time scale of 16 (24) years from 1957 to 2002, the annual runoff in the Aksu and Yarkand Rivers show an increasing trend in general, while in the Hotan River a slightly decreasing trend is observed for the same time period. If the time scale reduces to 8 (23) or 4 (22) years, the annual runoff in each river does not show an apparent trend of either increasing or decreasing. (3) The time series of annual runoff in each river present a long-term correlation characteristic. The Hurst exponent in the period from 1989 to 2002 indicates that the annual runoff in the Aksu and Yarkand River will show an increasing trend, and that in the Hotan River will show a decreasing trend in the years after 2002.

Conventional bonding techniques using gold-tin preform or paste often require a process temperature over 320/spl deg/C to ensure complete melting of the preform. However preform or paste usually leads to difficult alignment and sometimes contamination due to the flow state in reflow soldering. In this paper, we report a gold-tin eutectic bonding process which uses deposited multilayer composites. The bonding medium consists of a Au-Sn multilayer deposited directly on the wafer to be bonded. This technology eliminates the requirement of preforms, inhibits tin oxidation and provides good control of bonding layer thickness. Results of bonding of 5 mm/spl times/6 mm silicon die show that high quality bonding has been achieved.
