In this article we proclaim excellent improvement in the defect densities in hafnium zirconium oxide based ferroelectric film obtained by extending the duration of post-metallization annealing up to 180s. The consequences of extending the annealing duration on the structure and surface morphology was gauged by XRD analysis, HR-TEM and AFM, which showed increase in the grain size, well defined crystallinity, lower defect densities and negligible impact on surface roughness. The electrical characterization revealed reduction in RC leakage along with a significant improvement in flicker noise and random telegraphic noise characteristics, which proves reduction of defect densities when the annealing time is increased.

Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) is emerging in a variety of applications as an important technology for identifying and tracking goods and assets. Yet as soon as applications start on RFID solutions, concerns must be raised on security and privacy of these concepts, which are critical because RFID systems communicate via radio waves, subjecting them to unauthorized scanning. In this paper, we consider a security-oriented scenario that a RFID system involves more than one server, which will raise insider attacks, namely an attack from genuine numbers involved in the protocol. In the proposed protocol, the system assigns an identifier for the reader of each server and a key for each of the readers and tags. Moreover, each tag stores all readers' identifiers and the shared keys between itself and every reader. When a reader queries a tag, it is firstly identified by the tag, finding the shared key, and then it has the chance to enter the authentication stage. Compared with other existing protocols of same class, our protocol can resist various attacks and achieve better performance in computational cost.

Under the smart-grid environment, demand response (DR) provides an equivalent reserve resource to mitigate operational uncertainties, in addition to the supply-side solutions. Thus, identifying the effect of DR to service reliability turns to be essential for strategic planning decisions. In this paper, a novel data-driven dispatching approach for sustainable exploitation of DR capabilities in future smart-grids is proposed. Differing to existing studies, the user willingness factor attended with DR is especially focused in this work. To achieve this, we develop a two-term DR model, wherein the compliance of customers is characterized as a dynamic self-optimizing process that specified by the regret measure regarding historical payoffs. On this basis, a data-driven-based DR scheduling model is formulated from the grid’s point of view. It could permit desired tradeoffs between the system reliability target and sustainability of DR provision. To verify the effectiveness of the proposed approach, a hybrid algorithm embedded with sequential Monte-Carlo simulations is developed. Numerical experiments are conducted to illustrate the performance of the proposed method based on a real-world distribution network.

In this paper, a 5.8 GHz monolithic microwave integrated circuit (MMIC) rectifier using $0.25 \mu\mathrm{m}$ GaAs Power pHEMT process is proposed. Lumped elements are used for the matching circuit and low pass filter design. The simulated results show that the proposed rectifier chip has a maximum RF-DC conversion efficiency of 67‥ when the input power is 30 dBm. With a compact size of 1700 um $\times900$ um, the rectifier can be easily integrated with the antenna for wireless power transmission application.

Due to the limited resources of a mobile communication network, the advanced technology Software Defined Network (SDN) with higher performance and network services would be adopted to cope with growing traffic loading for IoT in the future Generation Mobile Networks. Meanwhile, with the growth of the communication and processing capacity of the Internet of Things (IoT), the sensor devices develop rapidly in agricultural applications and environments. In this study, agricultural sensors deploy based on the SDN and IoT network architecture first. The Genetic Algorithm (GA) combined with Bacteria-Inspired Network (BIN) is proposed in this work to calculate the data path and find the best routing that confirms the QoS of agricultural requirements. Numerical results show that the proposed method provides a reliable QoS architecture for IoT sensors and reduces the end-to-end communication in SDWBIN Network.

A statistical atlas is created based on the average and variations of a set of data. Statistical atlases are found to be able to provide reference navigation models for the nasal cavity. An innovative method of constructing a statistical atlas that requires a short amount of time to execute, yet having a relatively high accuracy has been developed. This study examines the existing approaches to construct a statistical atlas of the human nasal cavity, as well as the suggested improvements. A statistical atlas that focuses specifically on the pathway from the nostrils to the nasopharynx has been created. The shape variations of this pathway can also be observed from the statistical atlas. For the purpose of this study, 47 sets of patient data have been analyzed. In the future, two separate statistical atlases for the different genders can be created.

In the present work, aiming at meeting the requirements of flexibility and three-dimensional force detection, a novel tactile sensor based on conductive and insulating rubbers was designed. Specifically, the microstructural unit consisting of three columns was orderly arranged in the cuboid made up of insulating rubbers. The microstructural units were prepared by conductive rubbers. According to the related theories of material mechanics, the relation between the resistance values of the columns and the applied three-dimensional forces was analyzed. Using COMSOL software, the multi-physical simulations were performed on the designed sensor, and the simulation results fit well with our conclusions on the variation tendency of resistance values. Finally, in order to eliminate the coupling effects among different dimensions, a decoupling algorithm based on BP neural network was proposed, and the results indicate that the designed sensor can accurately detect the three-dimensional force.

In this paper, it is proposed to apply Printed Electronics (PE) technology to manufacture the Surface Acoustic Wave (SAW) filter. Traditional manner to manufacture the SAW filter is with microelectronic process, which is complicated and very expensive. Furthermore, some wastewater and waste gas would be produced. On the contrary, the PE technology is much simple, affordable and environmental friendly. In our work, an SAW filter is manufactured with nano silver ink and inkjet printing technology. The experiment results show that the center frequency of the pass-band is 18.4MHz, and that the bandwidth is 500 KHz.

A good understanding of the relationships between grassland pests and terrain gradient is essential for grassland management. To explore the difference of prosodes dilaticollis motsch hazards on terrain gradient and to reveal different effects in different geomorphological parts of prosodes dilaticollis motsch disaster, in this paper, we used the data from the chinese ZY1-02C satellite P/MS remote sensing, with the support of the spatial analysis function in ArcGIS, prosodes dilaticollis motsch outbreak information from image interpretation based on RS and GIS technology was overlapped with elevation, slop and aspect types which derived from digital elevation model (DEM) respectively, the terrain gradient distribution of prosodes dilaticollis motsch disasters in the study area were obtained and analyzed. The results showed that in the elevation and slope gradient, the prosodes dilaticollis motsch hazards mainly concentrated in the lower grades terrain, while in the aspect gradient the hazards distributed most both in the lower and higher grades terrain distribution more, less in the middle grades terrain.

Key-Phrase should not only reflect the main content of a document, but also reflect the specialty of this document. Key-Phrase extraction is an important technique in the field of text information processing. With the advent of the Internet age, on-line file shows an astonishing increase in geometry and information explosion has became the main character of this age. Searching and making use of network information becomes more difficult. Therefore, automatically extraction on keyword is required. This paper uses the idea of classification to complete the task of Key-Phrase extraction, which uses SVM to build classification model and uses CRF to extract Key-Phrases. The testing result shows that, the mentioned extraction approach has improved dramatically compared with previous methods in precision and recall rate.

This paper presents a layered selective-input Min-Max decoding algorithm and the associated architecture for non-binary LDPC codes. Compared to the selective-input non-binary decoders presented in the literature, our proposed selective-input implementation can be quite easily realized in order to achieve a higher parallelism and a higher throughput. Also, by using a compensation technique, the error performance of the proposed selective-input implementation is quite close to the original Min-Max algorithm even though a small number of selective inputs is used. Using a 90-nm CMOS process, we implemented a 32-ary (837, 726) decoder that can achieve a throughput of 29.0 Mb/s.

In light of the six lexical cohesive ties that do not necessarily satisfy the additive situation, a new method is proposed to evaluate lexical cohesion based on Sugeno measure. The evaluation indexes are classified anew and weight parameters are given by experts. Then Sugeno measure is applied to integrate them. The experimental results show that the integrated results are significantly correlated with teachers' scoring of the compositions, which indicates the effective and comprehensive quality evaluation of lexical cohesion in English writing.

A novel analytical and compact model of Single Electron Transistor (SET) is developed and implemented in Verilog-A language for use in hybrid SET-CMOS logic circuit design. The model is based on the steady state Master-Equation (ME). The implementation of this original and simple model, taking into account physical characteristics of tunnel junctions and the thermionic emission, has faithfully reproduced the behavior of metallic SET operating at room temperature. The hybrid SET-CMOS universal logic gate cell is analyzed to illustrate the efficiency of this compact SET model.

In order to improve the performance of vector quantization based on different patterns, a fractional bit allocation algorithm for unvoiced/voiced(U/V) and pitch parameters based on Mixed Excitation Linear Prediction (MELP) has been proposed in this paper. This algorithm first quantizes U/V with integral bit allocation as the pattern index of pitch and gets every quantization distortion of pitch under each pattern with the allowable codebook size, then utilizes dynamic programming to get the optimal codebook size allocation under a given quota of bit number and calculates the corresponding total quantization distortion. The same procedure is conducted again with the number of patterns decreasing by one until the distortion increase rate of U/V exceeding the distortion decrease rate of pitch. Simulation results show that the method proposed here can reduce at least 25% of the quantization distortion of pitch and increase Mean Opinion Score (MOS) of the synthesized speech by 0.03.
