The prediction of rehabilitation success of 109 delinquent boys was analyzed by stepwise multiple regression. Months f rehabilitation service predicted seven of the nine criteria of rehabilitation outcome. Average counselor-client contact predicted for positive rehabilitation closure and positive attitude to authority change. Client with lower self-esteem and greater tending toward recidivism required more contact with their counselors for support and reassurance. Implications for rehabilitation counseling with the juvenile delinquent are drawn.
