Two D–π–A organic dyes were employed as amphiphilic materials, and their fluorescent nanotubes were fabricated at the air/water interface by the Langmuir-Blodgett (LB) technique. The structural characteristics of the fluorescent nanotubes were investigated by means of transmission electron microscopy (TEM), atomic force microscopy (AFM), and small-angle x-ray diffraction (SAXRD).
