Purpose. The purpose of the research is a comparative assessment of the state of data availability for planning the economic activity of agricultural enterprises, as well as the development of a model for increasing data availability based on the established correlation between socio-economic factors of internal and external influence of agricultural enterprises and readiness to disclose information when receiving consulting services. Methodology / approach. The study is based on the results of a survey of agricultural enterprises’ (farms’) managers, collected based on a random sampling, the volume of which satisfies the requirements of representativeness. The results of the research made it possible to conduct a correlation analysis of the dependence model for increasing data availability based on the established correlation between socio-economic factors of internal and external influence of agricultural enterprises and readiness to disclose information when receiving consulting services. The obtained results of the analysis made it possible to confirm the research hypotheses and obtain answers to several research questions. Results. The study reveals several dependencies and trends in the formation of openness and availability of data at agricultural enterprises (farms) for the implementation of economic activity planning by third-party consultants/experts. A strong direct connection was established between the unwillingness of enterprises to share management accounting data with third-party experts precisely because of the lack of practice of collecting such data, and not because of privacy concerns or negative past experiences. It was established that at enterprises characterized by a low level of openness to the dissemination of management accounting data, planning work is conducted directly by managers without qualified support of experts or planning is not conducted at all. The results suggest a number of solutions to ensure better access to the data needed for effective planning. Originality / scientific novelty. The study concerns the problems of data availability at agricultural enterprises (farms) for the implementation of planning of economic activities by external consultants/experts and uses the method of correlation analysis to establish relationships between variables of the model. The data collection paradigm of agricultural enterprises for planning their activities has been developed. For the first time, the relationship between a number of socio-economic factors and the openness of agricultural enterprises and farms to management consulting was established. Practical value / implications. The study formulates a number of proposals for improving the data availability at agricultural enterprises (farms) for the implementation of economic activity planning by third-party consultants/experts, which can be used by regional and state development agencies; state and private scientific institutions; governmental and non-governmental organizations; product manufacturers; legislators, etc., when developing support programs for agricultural producers to motivate them to use more effective planning tools, as well as when determining areas of activity for the regional advisory centers, taking into account the priority tasks in the sphere of planning data collection and analysis at agricultural enterprises and farms. Further studies of the data availability for planning the economic activity of agricultural enterprises are possible on the basis of the current study.

Purpose. The purpose of the study is to analyze and systematize the factors that affect the development of agricultural enterprises based on e-commerce technologies. To achieve this goal, it is necessary to: perform expert research to identify the list of factors and establish their relative importance; identify structural components that are common to all factors and apply cluster analysis to build a cluster of factors and dendrites; classify factors and build a method of taking into account factors in the formation of informed management decisions. Methodology / approach. During the study, the method of expert assessments was used, namely the method of questionnaires to collect the primary information needed to identify the list of factors and establish their relative importance. Cluster analysis (ball method and clast_izomorf_trec specification of the Microsoft Excel) and structural-process scientific approach were used to identify the nature of the relationships between factors and their grouping, which allowed building clusters and dendrites of factors. A system-dynamic scientific approach is used to form the classification of factors and to formulate the essence of the concepts “potential of factors to change the trajectory of conditions in which business decisions are formed” and “trajectory of change of conditions”. Results. It is proved that the development of agricultural enterprises based on e-commerce technologies is influenced by a number of factors that should be classified by content, nature, significance and structural similarity. The selection of these classification features and their corresponding groups of factors is necessary to enable the analytical processing of management information, in particular in the course of management decisions involving the use of e-commerce technologies. Unlike others, the proposed classification of factors is built by identifying their structural similarity. This became the basis for introducing into economics the concepts of “potential factors to change the trajectory of conditions in which business decisions are formed”, “trajectory of changing conditions”, as well as the development of a method of taking into account selected factors in management decisions. Originality / scientific novelty. For the first time, it was introduced into economics the concept of “potential of factors to change the trajectory of conditions in which business decisions are formed” and “trajectory of changing conditions”. These concepts are formulated on the basis of identifying the structural similarity of factors and measuring isomorphic distances between them. In the categorical-conceptual apparatus of economic analysis, these concepts will clarify the subject of parameterization of factors. The following was further developed: a) classification of factors influencing the development of agricultural enterprises on the basis of e-commerce technologies, which, in contrast to existing ones, is based on the selection of classification features and, within them, the types of factors; b) a method of factor consideration that differs from existing ones in that it clarifies the isomorphic nature of these factors and the relationships between them. This allows parameterizing factors and takes them into account when making management decisions. Practical value / implications. The classification of factors is constructed; the method of the account of these factors during formation of administrative decisions is developed. This is an applied tool for choosing the optimal management solution from a number of alternatives. The proposed classification and the constructed method can be used to model application software as a specification of existing decision support systems.

Purpose. The purpose of this paper was to highlight the results of the study of the influence of the soil fertility and financial support on the formation of sustainable competitiveness of Ukrainian agricultural enterprises. Methodology / approach. To achieve the purpose, we used such methods: correlation analysis (to identify and assess the close relationship between the ecological-agrochemical assessment of soils, financial support per hectare, and the sustainable competitiveness); econometric modeling (to develop a mathematical model of the dependence of the subindex of competitiveness by the yield on the ecological-agrochemical assessment of soils and the financial support per hectare); economic-statistical and monographic (for the assessment and analysis of the influence of the ecological-agrochemical assessment of soils and financial support per hectare on the formation of sustainable competitiveness); abstract-and-logical (for generalization and analysis of the research results); graphical (for the visual representation of the revealed dependencies). The study was performed on a selected sample of agricultural enterprises of districts of Kharkiv, Volyn and Chernihiv region, which represent all the soil-climatic zones of Ukraine. The time range of this research covers the years 2010–2016. The database of the 189 observations in Kharkiv region, 93 – in Volyn region and 88 – in Chernihiv region was as the empirical basis. Results. This paper presents empirical evidence for the impact of the soil fertility and financial support on the formation of sustainable competitiveness of enterprises. The obtained results prove the hypothesis of a positive relationship between the ecological-agrochemical assessment of soils, financial support per hectare, and the sustainable competitiveness of subjects, however, the level of impact of soil fertility differs significantly in different soil-climatic conditions. It is shown that soil fertility and financial support can sometimes act as substitutes, for example, in a zone of insufficient moisture or low soil fertility. Increasing the financial support for agricultural production per hectare may be a strategy to increase productivity when soils are less fertile. Originality / scientific novelty. For the first time, one- and two-factor linear and quadratic econometric models were developed, which made it possible to carry out quantitative assessment of the impact of the ecological-agrochemical assessment of soils and the financial support per hectare on the formation of the subindex of competitiveness by the yield in various soil-climatic zones of Ukraine. The provision on the formation of the subindex of competitiveness by the yield under the conditions of the economic law of diminishing returns, was further developed. Practical value / implications. The main results of the study can be used for (i) estimation and forecasting of the level of competitiveness depending on the ecological-agrochemical assessment of soils and the financial support per hectare; (ii) determining the effect of measures to improve the soil fertility on the competitiveness; (iii) determining the impact of soil degradation on competitiveness of agribusiness entities; (iv) identification of reserves to improve competitiveness.

Purpose. The purpose of the article is to evaluate and analyze the dynamics of changes in the net technical efficiency of grain and leguminous crops production in Ukraine using the DEA method. Methodology / approach. There were used the econometric method (to check the quality of input and output parameters of the objects of study) and the DEA method (to assess the level of net technical efficiency of agricultural enterprises and to analyze the dynamics of its change). We used the input-oriented VRS model for the calculations. Input parameters of the model: 1) the area from which cereals and legumes were collected; 2) volume of mineral and organic fertilizers (in nutrients) per 1 ha; 3) the number of tractors and grain harvesting machines per 1 thousand ha. Output parameters: 1) production of grain and leguminous crops; 2) the production of grain and leguminous crops per 1 person. Results. The peculiarities of application of the DEA method for assessing and analyzing the dynamics of changes in the efficiency of agricultural enterprises were revealed. Based on the statistical information for 2017–2018, with a help of the DEA method it was assessed the net technical efficiency of the work of agricultural enterprises in the regions of Ukraine in the production of grain and leguminous crops. An analysis of the estimated effectiveness was carried out, which revealed the presence of potential for its improvement. We calculated indicators characterizing the change in the net technical efficiency of agricultural enterprises in the regions of Ukraine during 2017–2018, namely, the growth coefficients of net technical efficiency without taking into account the shift of the effective border, the coefficients of technical progress, and the Malmquist indices. It was analyzed the dynamics of change in efficiency, which revealed trends in the development of regions. Originality / scientific novelty. The article presents the results of the study that substantiate the possibility and expediency of application of the DEA method to evaluate and analyze the dynamics of changes in the performance of agricultural enterprises in Ukraine. The procedure of evaluation and analysis of the dynamics of changes in the efficiency of agricultural enterprises in Ukraine has been improved. Practical value / implications. The research results can be used to rank the regions by the efficiency of agricultural production, analyze the dynamics of changes in efficiency in order to identify trends in the development of regions, assess their resource potential and develop recommendations for bringing regions to an effective level of development.

Purpose. The purpose of the article is to analyze the contribution of agricultural enterprises and households to Ukrainian agrarian production, to determine the place of agricultural holdings in its formation and to indicate the role of the agricultural sector in Ukrainian exports. Methodology / approach. The methodological research tool is an economic analysis of the activities of business entities. The statistical data of the main indicators of the production activities of agricultural enterprises is being used as empirical information. In the process of research, the following methods of economic analysis were used: formalized – a graphical method, percentage numbers, methods of mathematical statistics; non-formalized – expert assessment, comparison, analytical tables. Results. An estimation of the dynamics of agricultural output in the basic categories of farms in 2010–2017 was made, the share of the basic categories of farms in the crop and livestock production was determined. It is noted that in the agrarian sector of Ukraine there has been a polarization in the production of agricultural products – self-employed small-scale forms of management dominate the production of labor-intensive and low-profitable products, while large industrial high-quality agricultural enterprises are highly profitable and low labor-intensive. Researches have shown that one of the leading places in the crop production is sunflower cultivation due to its high profitability. In the example of sunflower production shows the possibilities of economic and mathematical modeling as a tool for evaluating production efficiency and forecasting. The place of the agrarian sector in the structure of Ukraine’s commodity exports in 2017 has been analyzed. It was shown that an important place in the Ukrainian agro-industrial complex is occupied by agricultural holdings, which, in particular, are very significant in the formation of Ukrainian exports of cereals and oil plants. Originality / scientific novelty. Trends and the current state of the agro-industrial sector of Ukraine researches have been further developed. A comparative evaluation of the effectiveness and contribution of the basic categories of farms to the agricultural production at the present stage was made. For the first time, economic and mathematical models for the analysis of the main indicators of sunflower cultivation have been proposed. Practical value / implications. The growing role of agricultural enterprises, in particular, agricultural holdings, in the development of the agro-industrial complex is shown, the place of Ukrainian agricultural products in the world food market is defined and the importance of diversification Ukrainian exports is pointed out. The established trend lines of sunflower cultivation indicators made it possible to calculate the corresponding short-term forecasts, which can be taken into account when justifying alternatives for the future development of agricultural enterprises.

The article deals with the conducted research of functioning existing under the conditions of present various management forms in different sphere of agrarian common forms, the operation of which is reflected in the activities of the three groups organizational and economic structure, namely agricultural enterprises, farm economies and households. These forms of management have and use in their activities different in terms of areas of agricultural land, produce the number of different types of agricultural products, hold unequal number of livestock of farm animals. This focused attention on research results for the functioning of the new Ukraine, but effectively functioning for many centuries in advanced countries in the world space, farm forms of management. To establish certain trends and law to develop effective forms of the control, used in farm economy of Lviv region in 1990–2015 years. This approach is achieved by comparing the rate of agricultural development of socialism era (1990) and in the era of market reforms (1995 and behind its limits). Comparing economic era that has passed from the era, is formed objectively and can identify opportunities for the development of forms of economic conditions both current and future. The research results give reason to assert that every form of agrarian entity has future development, taking this or that niche in compound processes of agricultural production output.

The purpose of the paper is to study the ecologically oriented agricultural enterprises technical equipment state support features. It has been proved that machine-tractor fleet which consists of power facilities set, agricultural machinery and implements that are designed to perform agricultural operations is an important component of the technical service agricultural enterprises. Modern machinery manning and highly effective use of as separated aggregates, technological complexes, as well as tractor fleet enterprises in general is the basis of agricultural products production maximum, its quality and competitiveness provision. It has been established that technical provision problems that are typical for enterprises that implement innovative technologies, produce organic products. It has been proved that unprofitable industries, lack of liquid mortgage, high probability of credit return failure and legal mechanisms imperfection slows down ecologically oriented enterprises technical equipment upgrade. It has been grounded that economic support of above-mentioned producers, should be an important part of the state agricultural policy.

The article analyzes the influence of increase of productive costs on material-thing, resultant components and economic effectiveness of intensification of the land resources use and the optimal level of intensity in agricultural enterprises are defined. It was improved, that, than higher indexes of material-thing constituent of intensity of employment of land resources, for identical other terms, the higher resultant and economic effectiveness of intensification are arrived at by agricultural enterprises, and inversely, but on condition that these indexes do not exceed an optimal level. It is found out, that oscillation of exit on 100 hectare of a.-g. lands of gross products on 38.5 %, commodity products – on 34.0 %, clean products – on 8.8 %, profit – on 2.7 % depends on oscillation of productive charges on unit of the land area, the middle size of that in 2014 did not attain an optimal size. As productive charges did not attain a maximum level, then it is suggested to grow them to the optimal values with simultaneous optimization of their structure that will give an opportunity substantially to promote economic efficiency of intensification of employment of land resources of agricultural enterprises.

The purpose of the article theoretical and practical aspects of increasing productivity in the agricultural enterprises of the theoretical foundations of productivity – essential characteristics of the economy. Increase productivity provides increased real product and income, and therefore it is an important indicator of economic growth. The study includes defining the essence of productivity, and methods of its determination. The article compared the methodology for determining productivity and defined benefit cost method. The analysis of labor productivity in the agricultural enterprises of the Kharkiv region. The dynamics of gross output, the average number of workers and labor productivity, which gave an idea of the trend in productivity. Also calculated indexes of labor productivity in agricultural enterprises. The main ways of increasing productivity. Presented stages of program performance management and defined their role in increasing productivity.
