- Abstract
Distance learning has become a great challenge for all participants in the educational process: students and teachers. As it turned out, it is not easy to organize quality training using the latest information technologies, inspire students to work, deal with technical problems. No country was ready for this form of knowledge acquisition, and Ukraine is no exception. It is difficult to imagine a situation of a teacher of the department to conduct classes remotely, not to see your students, not to be able to explain information personally and help in times of problems, but the pandemic makes adjustments and forces students and their mentors to learn new teaching methods. Distance learning includes activities that include: providing educational material for students, means of monitoring student performance, student consultations by teachers of the department, interactive cooperation between student and teacher, the ability to quickly provide information and correct student errors. As for video conferencing, our department actively uses the Zoom service, because it is simple and easy to use. This program supports high-quality video and audio broadcasting. During the broadcast, the teacher and students can demonstrate a screen with the performance or explanation of tasks. The teacher can record a video conference in advance or turn on the recording during the online broadcast, and then send the lesson to those who were absent.
