Abstract

Based on two modified Rosslor hyperchaotic systems, which are derived from the chaotic Rosslor system by introducing a state feedback controller, this paper proposes a new switched Rosslor hyperchaotic system. The switched system contains two different hyperchaotic systems and can change its behaviour continuously from one to another via a switching function. On the other hand, it presents a systematic method for designing the circuit of realizing the proposed hyperchaotic system. In this design, circuit state equations are written in normalized dimensionless form by rescaling the time variable. Furthermore, an analogous circuit is designed by using the proposed method and built for verifying the new hyperchaos and the design method. Experimental results show a good agreement between numerical simulations and experimental results.

Abstract

Using the nonlinear coherent state representation we derive nonlinear squeezed states and the multiplication rule of nonlinear squeezing operators. We find that the symplectic matrices multiplication rule in nonlinear coherent state projection operator representation maps into the multiplication rule of successive nonlinear squeezing operators. The technique of integral within an ordered product of operators plays an essential role in deriving the multiplication rule.

Abstract

This study shows that the photoelectron energy spectrum generated by an intense laser pulse in the presence of a continuous X-ray has interesting and useful statistical properties. The total photoionization production is linearly proportional to the time duration of the laser pulse and the square of the beam size. The spectral double energy-integration is an intrinsic value of the laser-assisted X-ray photoionization, which linearly depends on the laser intensity and which quantitatively reflects the strengths of the laser-field modulation and the quantum interference between photoelectrons. The spectral energy width also linearly depends on the laser intensity. These linear relationships suggest new methods for the in-situ measurement of laser intensity and pulse duration with high precision.

Abstract

The time-energy properties of high-order harmonic generation (HHG) are calculated for a linearly polarized 7-fs laser pulse with different carrier-envelope phases (CEPs). The quantum trajectory paths that contribute to an as (1 as=10−18 s) pulse in HHG are identified. The laser-duration dependence and the CEP dependence of HHG energy property are investigated. The study shows that an as extreme ultra-violet (XUV) pulse can be selected from HHG spectrum near cut-off energy with a bandpass optical filter. The theoretical prediction of the pulse duration is proportional to bandwidth. Analysis suggests that a measured narrowband as XUV pulse may consist of instantaneous shorter pulses each dependent on laser pulse duration, intensity, and CEP. These information can be used as references for producing, selecting, improving and manipulating (timing) as pulses.

Abstract

Fragmentation of H2 in femtosecond laser field is studied by using velocity map ion imaging method and 70 fs laser at 405 nm and 810 nm from 0.3 to 3.0 × 1014 W/cm2. Angular distributions from Coulomb explosion are independent of the laser wavelengths and intensities, which means the explosion starts from the same electronic state. Angular distributions from dissociation channels in the 810 nm laser field broaden with the laser intensity. Lobe structures in angular distributions from Coulomb explosion and above threshold dissociation channels are reported. Fine structures in the distribution of internuclear distances are observed.

Abstract

Li-N dual-doped p-type ZnO (ZnO:(Li,N)) thin films are prepared by pulsed laser deposition. The optical properties are studied using temperature-dependent photoluminescence. The LiZn-NO complex acceptor with an energy level of 138 meV is identified from the free-to-neutral-acceptor (e, A0) emission. The Haynes factor is about 0.087 for the LiZn-NO complex acceptor, with the acceptor bound-exciton binding energy of 12meV. Another deeper acceptor state located at 248meV, also identified from the (e, A0) emission, is attributed to zinc vacancy acceptor. The two acceptor states might both contribute to the observed p-type conductivity in ZnO:(Li,N). [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
