It is a fact that the condition of the Citarum River is full of problems. The problems are about plastic waste, pollution of household waste, and industrial waste. To deal with the problems, the President intended to revitalize the Citarum River by establishing the Republic of Indonesia Presidential Regulation Number 15/2018 concerning the Acceleration of Pollution Control and Damage to the Citarum River watershed. The program is intently broadcasted through various mass media to raising people’s awareness of controlling pollution and damage of Citarum River watershed. It is the vital function of media to inform environmental insights and activate community actions (proper disposal of industrial and domestic wastes). By informing actual information, mass media can contribute to structuring social understanding and social-behaviour improvement. The present study employed a case study approach. The researchers focused on the deep-longitudinal aspects of Citarum Harum Program. The analysis was following stages; observation, data collection, analysis, and dissemination. The analysis was mainly based on interviews to reliable individuals ranging from mass media practitioner, government officials, activists, and scholars. The results shows that printed media, television, and radio have social responsibility to educate the society about the river protection. In addition, policies in several media are considered to be consistent in disseminating the messages and ideas as they also create innovations in structural, social, and cultural approaches.

Climate change requires the agricultural sector to be more precise in water management. Rainfed lands and irrigated lands with no year-round water supply require an efficient way of using water in the dry season. One of the efforts to utilize irrigation efficiently is to develop subsurface seepage irrigation techniques using pottery. This study aims to determine the composition of the pottery material, the ratio of sand, silt and clay which is optimal for the growth of chilli plants. The experiment was carried out with plots arranged in a nested design with a treatment of five pottery materials with different compositions of clay, soil and sand, and tested on entisol and alfisol soils. The results showed that the pottery irrigation with a combination of pottery material composition on two types of soil affected the weight of chilli fruit. Pottery with a composition of 70% clay and 30% sand is the most effective pottery for chilli and yields on surface growth irrigation.

Climate change sues more effects in irrigation water management. The dry season is a major problem for the cultivation o rainfed crops. Subsurface irrigation with pottery potentially as a way out for rainfed crop cultivation. This study aims to determine the size and origin of pottery which has a high level of irrigation efficiency. This research is a pot experiment with pottery irrigation treatment with water seeping out of the pot into the soil efficiency and to obtain the size of the irrigation pot and the original material that is effective as a water pottery. Purple eggplant (Solanum melongena L.) was planted in Alfisols and Entisols soil in pots with a diameter of 60 cm and irrigation with pottery. The potteries were buried in the soil in the planting media, and the water was filled through the neck of the pottery and the volume measured every day as consumption of irrigation. The pottery used is from the center of the pottery Industry in Java, namely Bayat and Kasongan, with a volume of 7 liters and a small 3 liters. Result showed that the 3 liters size of pottery Kasongan produced more fruit than other treatment in Alfisols and efficient irrigation in Entisols than other pottery. The 3 liters pottery size is more water effiecient and has better plant yield than a 7 liter pot.

Land use change and water quality problems occur in most watersheds in Indonesia, which are also resulted by climate change phenomenon. One of the watersheds that have a critical status but have an important role in South Sulawesi, Indonesia is the Jeneberang watershed, which is included in 15 national priority watersheds for restoration and conservation. The purpose of this study is to analyze the impact of land use changes in watersheds over the last 20 years on water quality. This research is a descriptive study using quantitative and qualitative methods. In this study, Land Change Modeler (LCM) module was used in Idrisi Terrset software to analyze changes in used/covered by comparing the imagery of 2000 and 2020, while water quality analysis using the pollution index method on 7 key parameters of water quality. The results showed a decrease in forest area cover in the upstream part of the watershed with an increase in the area of agricultural areas and settlements. Water quality was classified as lightly polluted with the pollution index values increased from upstream (2.04), middle (2.12,) to downstream (2.83). Biological Oxygen Demand (BOD), Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD), and Coliform concentrations were higher than national standards of water quality. Changing land use into agricultural areas and settlements has contributed to increased water pollution in the Jeneberang watershed.

Drip irrigation is one of important technique of watering especially during unstable and uneven distributed rainfall due to global climate change. It minimizes water loss hence may increase the CWP (Crop Water Productivity). The purpose of this study was to evaluate the drip irrigation combined with soil mulching to CWP of cash crops. This research was conducted from October 2020 to February 2021 at Jumantono, Karanganyar Regency, Indonesia. The experiment was arranged in the Strip Plot design with 3 factors, namely type of irrigation (drip and conventional) as main plot; mulch (control, silver black mulch, and straw mulch) also commodities (paddy and chili) as the sub-plot with 3 replications. Parameters observed were biomass and Crop Water Productivity (CWP). The results showed drip irrigation combined with soil mulching resulted in higher CWP at both chili and paddy.

Improper disposal of municipal waste is a serious threat to the environment and a challenge to climate which results in the land, water, and air pollution. Through decomposition processes and life cycle activities, landfill contributes to more than 5% of greenhouse gas emissions that cause climate change. This study aims to determine the concentration of selected heavy metals around the Putri Cempo landfill. Soil samples were taken in the depth of 0-30 cm. Characterization of soil parameters included soil pH, organic matter (OM), zinc (Zn), and lead (Pb). The result showed soil pH value ranging from 6.07 to 6.85 which is slightly acid, organic matter ranged from 0.95% to 5.87%, while Zinc and lead concentration ranged from 49.2μg/g to 224.7μg/g and 4.3μg/g to 82.4 μg/g respectively and were below the permissible limits of heavy metals in soil recommended by World Health Organization (WHO). The mean concentration of both metals was detected low far from the landfill and higher close to the landfill, which proves that there had been the anthropogenic contribution of heavy metals pollution in the soil through the disposal of wastes. In conclusion, this study serves as a starting point for future environmental studies.

Climate change causing a shift in the dry and rainy seasons, and impacts the availability of water that is getting less. Its change people activity used the river directly thus increasing pollution. As a river management effort, it is necessary to carry out periodic monitoring by public. This study aims to determine the biological water quality of the Gajah Wong river segment Yogyakarta city, Indonesia based on biomonitoring with family biotic index (FBI). The data used are primary data form field data collection. The data collection method used is biomonitoring. The observed parameters were the overall diversity of benthic macroinvertebrates, Water quality follow analysis with family biotic index (FBI). The results showed the stations Gajah Wong 2 (GW2), GW3, and GW8 were of the water quality good, whereas the stations GW1, GW7, and GW6 were of the quality fair fairly. Then the stations GW5 and GW10 were of the water quality fairly poor, the stations GW9 poor very, and finally, station GW4 were of the water quality very poor, this can be seen in the result of the collected organism data, namely the majority is Tubificidae group found 65.30%. It can be concluded that the Gajah Wong river segmented of Yogyakarta city is polluted.

Climate change has a negative impact on the reduction of groundwater resource potential in the Gunungsewu Karst Area, in terms of quantity, quality and continuity. This impact is felt by the people of Pucung Village who use water found in underground rivers and springs to meet their daily domestic water needs. The potential of water resources in the area is very vulnerable to a decrease in quality and quantity related to changes in the carrying capacity and capacity of the karst area as a result of climate change. This study aims to assess the groundwater vulnerability zone and the condition of the water catchment area in the karts area of Pucung Village, Eromoko District, Wonogiri Regency, Indonesia.The research method used is the EPIK method which is applied to the Geographical Information System (GIS). Research variables include (a) Epikarst; (b) Protective Cover; (c) infiltration conditions, and (d) karst network. The four variables obtained from the interpretation of remote sensing images, topographical maps, geological maps and field surveys were analyzed using scoring techniques. The results showed (1) 875.15 hectare or 88% of the area in Pucung Village is in a zone that is very vulnerable and susceptible to contamination of Groundwater; (2) agricultural activities in the water catchment area have the potential to contaminate of groundwater in the study area.

One of the main issues in agriculture in this climate change era is the water crisis. It caused a drought that affected the delay of rice cultivation. A study found that Wonogiri Regency has very critical with a value of 163.1%. Hence, it is necessary to have an alternative solution to overcome it. In this case, utilizing rain by harvesting rainwater (RWH) can be used as an alternative to meet water needs during the dry season and for various other uses. One of the RWH applications is a small-farm reservoir (SFR). To identify the potential locations for RWH is using location suitability modelling based on GIS. The determination of the location depends on biophysical criteria such as rainfall, slope, soil texture, stream order, and land use. The socio-economic attributes consist of the distance to the river, road, settlement, and agriculture. To obtain the suitability location, after all of the maps are generated, next is reclassify the value to 0 and 1. In the end, the maps calculate with a raster calculator to define the suitability location that has value 1. Location and dimension details can find out. This study aims to determine the potential of RWH for agriculture (in specific, SFR) at Keduang Sub-watershed as a consideration for stakeholders’ decision. The results showed 226 areas are potential for SFR implementation and will make it easier for stakeholders to decide by comparing the suitability location map and the long-term strategic map.

Changes in land use in watersheds and climate change have a dominant influence on watershed hydrology. One of the important aspects of watershed hydrology related to land use change and climate change is runoff. Land use changes in the watershed area from non-built areas to built areas or vegetated areas to non-vegetated areas will increase runoff. Because vegetation helps absorb rainwater optimally into the soil. Thus, rainwater that falls to the ground will become more runoff. For this reason, it is necessary to conduct a study to determine the land use changes and impact on the runoff, as has been done in the Keduang sub-watershed, Wonogiri District, Indonesia. Land use change and peak runoff were estimated using remote sensing and Geographic Information System (GIS). Remotely sensed images from the Landsat satellites were used to develop land use maps of the study area in 2009 and 2020. The peak runoff was computed by the Rational Method. The land use map between 2009 and 2020 shows an increase in built areas and dryland agriculture and a decrease in the vegetated area such as a forest and mix garden. The impact of land use change increases the coefficient runoff value in the study area from 0.22 to 0.24. The results showed that peak runoff for 2009 was 358.73 m3/s and in 2020 was 363.38 m3/s there is an increase of 4.66 m3/s.

Drought is one of the climate change phenomena that has a profound impact on agricultural crops. Various adaptation strategies are used to deal with the impacts of climate change, one of which is the ratoon system of rice cultivation. This study aims to examine the effects of providing a combination of organic amendment and the application of PGPR on soil characteristics, growth, and yield of salibu ratoon system in the rainfed dry land. The research was conducted in Wonosari Village, Gondangrejo, Karanganyar, Central Java. This research used a complete randomized block design with three replications consisting of 2 factors. The first factor is the organic amendment, which is without the addition of organic matter (C1), compost (C2), and rice husk charcoal (C3). The second factor is the PGPR treatment, which is non-inoculated PGPR (P1) and inoculated PGPR (P2). Data analysis used ANOVA level of 5% followed by Duncan’s test. The results showed that the addition of organic matter and the inoculation of PGPR affected the variable root length, yield, and biomass. The addition of organic matter and PGPR can increase crop yields and plant resistance to drought stress by maintaining soil moisture and root elongation mechanisms. Based on the research results, the addition of rice husk charcoal and PGPR inoculation is the best combination for ratoon rice cultivation in the rainfed dry land.

Climate change significantly increased the occurrence of high temperatures. High temperature significantly reduces rice yield and quality due to induced floret sterility in rice. Organic manure is one of the nutrients that is expected to maintain the soil temperature of rice. The study aims to determine the effect of application organic fertilizer in high temperature during the flowering stage in several varieties of rice (Oryza sativa L.). This research was conducted in a greenhouse with an average temperature of 28–34 0C from July to December 2020. The experiment consisted of 3 factors, namely: Varieties of Rice, V (IR64 and Gogo); Application of Organic Fertilizer, O (with and without organic fertilizer); and High Temperature, T (35 and 40°C). The treatments were arranged in a completely randomized design with 4 replicates. Growth parameters observed were rice plant height, number of tillers, and rice biomass. The result showed that Interaction on varieties, application of organic fertilizer at a high temperature significantly reduce the rice plant height and rice biomass. The estimation of the global warming impact of rice growth can be predicted by this information and mitigating for it.

Since variations in chrysanthemums are still limited, Indonesia still imports. An effort to expand the variation can be done through polyploidy techniques using colchicine. Pasopati varieties of the chrysanthemum were propagated in vitro and treated with colchicine and planted in different media compositions to observe performance and obtain superior genotype. Experiment with a factorial pattern that consist of two factors: the composition of the planting medium ( m1 = top soil, m2 = cocopeat, m3 = husk charcoal, m4 = top soil + cocopeat m5 = top soil + husk charcoal, m6 = cocopeat + chaff charcoal) and polyploidy chrysanthemum genotypes (g1 = KAR0, g2 = KAR1, g3 = KAR2, g4 = KAR3, and g5 = KAR4) with two replications was designed. The results showed there were variations in plant height, stem diameter, number of nodes, number of floret, and stalk length on polyploidy Chrysanthemum genotypes due to different planting media. The m4 = top soil + cocopeat can increase plant height, stem diameter, number of nodes, stalk length and number of floret KAR4 genotype.

Turmeric (Curcuma longa) and ginger (Zingiber officinale) are included in important spice commodities in Indonesia. The altitude and the environmental condition have an impact on the secondary metabolite content in the medicinal plants. Moreover, the current situation of climate change also affecting on the local environmental condition which is impacting on the secondary metabolite production. This research aims for determining the effects of altitude and soil characteristics on secondary metabolites. The research method was surveyed, then purposive sampling on farmlands with different altitude and soil characteristics at Karanganyar District, Indonesia. The variables observed were altitude, climate, soil characteristics (soil pH, Cation Exchange Capacity, Organic Matter, texture, Nitrogen, Phosphorus and Potassium), and secondary metabolites of turmeric and ginger (curcuminoid, gingerol, shogaol). The results indicated that the secondary metabolite of turmeric affected by altitude, soil pH, soil texture sand and soil available phosphorus. On the other hand, the secondary metabolites of ginger are affected by altitude, soil pH, soil organic matter, soil texture (silt and sand), and soil phosphorus. Turmeric and ginger in the highlands were produced more secondary metabolites compared with in lowlands.

Understanding how extremes are changing in long-term rainfall conditions is an important first step for planning appropriate adaptation measures of climate change. The purpose of this study is to investigate an uneven precipitation distribution and hydrometeorological events through the long-term trend of precipitation in Penajam Paser Utara, the new capital city of Indonesia. We used gridded precipitation APHRODITE and Mann-Kendall trend test over 60 years (1954-2015). The results showed the number of consecutive wet days (CWD) is higher than consecutive dry days (CDD). It also makes the number of floods larger than the drought. Even, the trend of rainfall was decreased from 1990 to 2015.

Human activities cause a rise in temperature that causes global warming. Land covers that were originally stand plants into open land will affect the climate of the land. This study aims to determine the dynamics of air temperature & air humidity on soil temperature in various land cover at KHDTK (Kawasan Hutan dengan Tujuan Khusus or Special Forest Area) Gunung Bromo Karanganyar. There are 6 types of land cover used in this study, namely: pine, pine-mahogany, mahogany, mixed, open land, and annual crops. Air & soil temperature were measured using Ellitech RC-5 USB Temperature Data Logger & Digital Thermometer. The results showed that the dynamics of air temperature and humidity were highest in annual crop cover, while the lowest was in mahogany cover. The highest dynamics of soil temperature are found in annual crops and open land, whereas the other cover has similar dynamics. The dynamics of air temperature and humidity are slightly different from soil temperatures. The interaction between air temperature and soil temperature can result in changes in weather and climate, especially in open land.

Chrysanthemum (Chrysanthemump) is a one of the most popular cutting flower commodities in Indonesia. The beauty of colors and variations in the shape of flowers and the low level of withering cause Chrysanthemum to be in great demand. The polyploid chrysanthemum has some superior properties but the growth rate and flowering time is slow due to colchicine. The study aimed to determine the influence of the concentration of the cytokinins in the growth and productivity of chrysanthemum polyploid genotypes. The experimental design as used Split Plot Design consists of 2 factors and 2 replications. The first factors were concentration of the cytokinin (Si, i are 1,…,4) as a main plot with different levels about 0, 1, 2,3, 4 ml L−1 of cytokinin solutions, respectively. The second factorswere the third generation of the polyploid chrysanthemum (G) genotype as a sub plot with 4 genotype, namely: g0 = KRA0, g1 = KRA1, g2 = KRA2, and g3 = KRA3. Based on the experiments and analysis results, it was found that the treatment of 3 ml L−1 of the cytokinin solution produced 16 shoots while the polyploid chrysanthemum genotype KRA2 gave the best response to the number of shoots at 12 WAP compared to other polyploid chrysanthemum genotypes.

This study explores factors that determine the success of online learning in the aspects of (1) students; (2) lecturers/teachers, (3) learning methods; (4) learning content; and (5) educational institutions. This study was a meta-analysis study. The data sources were obtained from online journal articles published from 2018 to 2020. This study was conducted by selecting relevant articles, and re-synthesizing the research results qualitatively and quantitatively. The data were collected by reading, coding, analyzing in-depth, and interpreting the results of the analysis according to the research objectives. Data credibility was controlled by involving a second reader (inter-reader and inter-coder) The results showed the determinants of successful online learning are: (1) the students’ motivation and self-efficacy because the students must be able to overcome their obstacles (2) successful online learning methods require individual intervention from lecturers; (3) lecturers with technology literacy are more successful and able support other lecturers, (4) successful online learning content uses various sources and is actively involved in forums and (5) institutions facilitate Learning Management Systems and other online learning tools.

The extraction of eucalyptus essential oil has been widely carried out with a variety of fairly modern tools and machines, but most of them still use conventional heating methods. The water distillation method for extracting eucalyptus leaves essential oil has been tried using a microwave but is still constrained by the limited penetration of microwaves in the material. To overcome the drawbacks of the extraction method, it is necessary to design a method of extracting eucalyptus leaves essential oil by using ohmic heated hydro distillation with this method, heat will be generated from the material so that it can reduce energy use during the extraction process. This study aims to design and test the performance of ohmic heated hydro distillation for the extraction of eucalyptus leaves essential oil. The method used in this research starts from functional and structural design, component manufacturing, assembly and performance testing of ohmic heated hydro distillation. The design results obtained the dimensions of ohmic heated hydro distillation from the central 304 stainless steel electrode with a length of 50 cm and a diameter of 1 cm. The electrically isolated outermost cylinder functions as a negative electrode with a diameter of 34 cm and a height of 55 cm. The electrodes are connected to a PLN power source with 5 kVA power. The distillation unit is then connected to the condenser of stainless steel 304. The test results obtained a distillation rate of 0.0007 kg per hour with a yield of 0.28%

The study aimed to analyze 4Cs (Critical thinking, Creativity, Communication, and Collaboration) 21st Century Skills which were based on the student’s school environment different from concepts of science. Types of quantitative research with data collection methods in the form of observations, tests, questionnaires, and documentation. Based on comparative t-test analysis results in significant no differences in critical thinking (C1), that creativity (C2) and Communication (C3) highers than middle and rural areas, while teamwork and collaboration (C4) Rural area students are higher than the urban and middle area. This shows the culture of the surrounding environment that affects students’ 4c skills. Interestingly, the lifestyle patterns of the Rural Area and Urban Area greatly affect student collaboration in the learning process. the habit of mutual assistance, scolding greetings, and getting to know each other is more entrenched in the Rural Area.

The change of education curriculum in Indonesia affects school subjects, including those taught in vocational high school’s culinary department. The addition of the fusion food material in the learning syllabus demands teachers to seek various learning resources. This study aimed to develop a pocket book on fusion food as a learning resource for vocational high school students. This was a R&D (research and development) which specifically used the 4D development model (define, design, develop, and disseminate). The research participants involved experts on learning material and media, as well as Grade 12 culinary students from state vocational high school SMKN 1 Kalasan. The data collection technique included observation, interviews, document studies, and a survey, while the data analysis technique was descriptive qualitative. The findings show that the feasibility of the fusion food pocket book is deemed very feasible as a learning resource with the average score of 88.9% from the material experts, 99.1% from the media experts, and 82.3% from the students.

Ratoon rice farming is the method of harvesting rice for 2-3 times by maintaining and growing the shoots from the previous tillers. In Central Java, Indonesia, ratoon rice is local wisdom in farming called Singgang. Nowadays, almost no farmers are implementing ratoon rice farming, in spite of many advantages for climate change adaptation and mitigation. The objectives of this research are to identify and to map out the current implementation of ratoon rice farming in Central Java; and to formulate the strategies to develop the ratoon rice farming as local wisdom in Central Java. This research was conducted from November 2019 to January 2020, using qualitative research with the FGD method. The research location was chosen by purposive sampling according to three irrigation systems, namely: rainfed rice field in Gondangrejo, Karanganyar Regency; Tidal rice field in Tuntang, Semarang Regency; and technical irrigation rice field in Kebonagung, Demak Regency. The data obtained were analyzed using the SWOT (Strength, Weakness, Opportunities and Threats technique). The results showed that the highest potential to develop ratoon rice farming in Central Java is on rainfed land. Development of ratoon rice for climate change adaptation and mitigation is influenced by the characteristics of farmers, environmental conditions, irrigation systems, the activity of extension workers and farmer groups, the motivation of farmers to innovate. Therefore, the strategies suggested to develop the system are: to increase the role of extension workers and farmer groups, as well as agricultural production facilities, so that the motivation to maintain the local wisdom and accept technological innovations raise; and to minimize the decline in ratoon rice production by intensive farming management and specifically create ratoon rice farming area.

This research was aimed to study the influence of water depth in the drainage channel arrangement on peat chemical characteristics, the growth, and corn yield. This research was conducted in Rasau Jaya Umum Village, Rasau Jaya Sub-district, Kubu Raya District, West Kalimantan Province, for ten months (February - December 2016). The research field consists of three plots of land, with the area of each plot of 0.2 ha (40 m x 50 m). The depth of water drainage channels arranged in the experimental plots: treated without drainage channel, depth of water drainage channel 30 cm and depth of water drainage channel 60 cm. Pioneer 21 (P21) variety of corn was planted in the research field with the spacing of 25 cm x 75 cm and given ameliorant of coastal sediment 8 tons/ha, urea fertilizer 400 kg/ha, SP 36 300 kg/ha, and KCl 100 kg/ha. The results showed that in the soil depth of 20-40 cm, the water depth of the drainage channel 60 cm influenced the decrease of organic carbon, total N, Cation Exchange Capacity (CEC) and available P. The water level depth in the drainage channel up to 60 cm did not affect the growth and corn yield. The arrangement depth of the water level in drainage channel 30 cm is the most ideal for corn growth and sustainability of peat.

Ethiopia is highly vulnerable to the impact of climate change due to its low adaptive capacity and a higher dependence on rain-fed agriculture for livelihood. The aim of this paper was to identify the long-term climatic trends and the magnitude of those trends and to analyse drought duration, frequency, and severity in southern and south-eastern Ethiopia based on climatic data (1980-2017). This research is a quantitative research method. The southern and south-eastern of Ethiopia were purposely selected based on a frequent occurrence of drought in the country. Monthly data were obtained from National Meteorological Agency (NMA) of Ethiopia. Mann-Kendall (MK) Test coupled with Sen’s Slope Estimator was used to analyse the trend of climatic data and its magnitude, and Standardized Precipitation Evapotranspiration Index (SPEI) was used to analysis drought characteristics. SPEI of 1-, 3- and 6-month timescales were calculated to understand drought characteristics. The result of the MK test showed that annual rainfall trend had non-significant decrease at all station except at Gode. The trend of annual maximum and minimum temperature is insignificantly increasing. The calculated SPEI revealed drought is more frequent and severe from time to time in the study area. Results showed that the most frequent, severe and prolonged droughts occurred during1999-2017 compared to 1980-1999. Climate change mitigation and proactive drought management approach is highly recommended in order to minimize the risk of drought.

Mathematics learning in class II Elementary School 2 Singaparna there are detention in learning material concept of place number values. Detention is when the teacher teaches the value of the concept of place numbers, students do not understand the material so that the teacher must explain repeatedly to students who have learning difficulties. The average value of students from 32 people is reaching 75,75, and teacher experience detention and limitations in making learning media truly suitable and in accordance with the material to be taught. This time teacher in teaching the material only use learning media by using objects in the environment. There is an active student response in learning, some are still not active because they do not understand even when learning using media. The problem if not resolved as soon as possible will have an impact on student learning achievement and hamper the subsequent learning material as in addition and subtraction operation material. By developing learning media that are interesting for students, can make students become more active, and fun in learning. Kite number learning media can also help students to more easily understand the material concepts of place number values. This study aims to develop and test effectiveness kite number learning media help adobe flash cs6 on the concept of place number values in Elementary School 2 Singaparna. The research method used is the development method with research design development or R&D (Research and Development). This research was carried out in Elementary School 2 Singaparna Sub-District Singaparna Districts Tasikmalaya in class II students as many as 32 people. The data analysis technique used in this study is qualitative and quantitative data analysis techniques. Data collection techniques in this study used questionnaire and pretest-posttest. Quantitative data analysis techniques use descriptive statistics. Development results kite number learning media help adobe flash cs6 on the concept of place number values already meet valid criteria. The results of the material expert validation reached a validity level of 4,66 with a very good category. The results of the media expert validation reached a validity level of 4,73 with a very good category. The results of teacher expert validation reached a validity level of 4,83 with a very good category. Product trials, which include one-on-one trails, get an average score of 4,8 with a very good category and small group trials got an average score of 4,65 with a very good category. The results of a large group trial in the application of learning in class, the results of the pretest students get a value of 59,44 and the posttest results get a value of 86,48. Based on the results of the analysis using paired sampel t-test statistics to produce tcount 18,417 and ttable 2,056 which mean tcount > ttable, So it can be concluded that there are significant differences between before and after using the kite number learning media help adobe flash cs6 on the concept of place number values in Elementary School 2 Singaparna.
