Studies on packaging accessibility are still incipient in Brazil. Many of these packagings can represent a challenge to users, whether due to non-informative labels, tricky tabs or seals, or even those that need strength to open. This paper brings a simple test to determine the necessary torque force to open PET bottles, and to predict the amount of users that could not open it. The investigative focus of this paper is the issue of non-use of PPE (personal protective equipment) in a trading company of chilled and frozen food products. To conduct the study we have used an ergonomic work analysis that allowed us to highlight important organizational aspects that contribute to the non-use of such equipment. The aim of this paper is to analyze the importance and applicability of ARMflex® in the odontological area and its influence in preventing or stopping the involuntary habit of improperly positioning the hand under the face or under the pillow.
