- Abstract
The article focuses on Debbie Paul, considered as one of the famous jewellers in Ireland. Her works are said to be mostly hand-forged into fluid organic shapes through the use of precious metals and stones. Her inspiration in making these jewelry are said to be from the textures and patterns found in nature, as well as her desire to adapt these qualities into metal forms. Her latest work in 2007 is the so-called tiara, a line of headpieces in gold and silver strands that weave through the hair, some interwoven with tiny diamond and ruby details. Aside from tiara, she also reveals to have been working on a series of brooches out of precious metals.
