Human beings, upon reaching this stage of old age, experience a phase of social isolation, caused by the decline of body structures and functions at the biopsychosocial level. Likewise, in March 2020, as a preventive measure to curb the spread of the covid-19 virus, social isolation is abruptly and permanently decreed for the entire Colombian population, with a greater impact on this population due to comorbidity criteria. Hence the importance of evaluating the different leisure and free time activities carried out by institutionalized older adults in times of social isolation. A descriptive quantitative methodological approach was adopted. The results show that older adults invest much of their time in activities that do not require greater physical effort or professional accompaniment, such as watching television or listening to the radio (91%). However, some of the activities have been abandoned as a result of the physical deterioration associated with the aging process, such as reading and walking, observed in 67% and 36% of the cases, respectively. This article determines the research competencies of university teachers belonging to the disciplinary area of law, through the implementation of a non-experimental-descriptive methodological framework, transversalfield non-probabilistic sampling under the technique of voluntary sampling through tools such as the survey and descriptive statistics. As result, the strengths and weaknesses detected in the teachers in the area of research are presented; taking into account the importance of research as an articulating element and generator of knowledge, which allows for strengthening the competencies and the disciplinary work from a responsible and pertinent perspective that responds to the needs of the local, national and international contexts. This article identifies the representations of the Bari and Uwa ethnic groups constructed by the regional press, in the case of La Opinión (Cúcuta, Norte de Santander, Colombia) between 1992 and 2018. The selected period obeys the first 25 years of the Political Constitution promulgated in 1991 after a political process that demanded the establishment of a secular and social state of law. Through the documentary review of 78 copies of the newspaper in its printed version, being this an intentional sample conformed by the newspapers of October 11, 12 and 13 of each year (eve, day and after the commemoration of the discovery of America or Columbus Day), a process of codification and categorization was applied, which evidenced the infantilization of the Bari, showing them through caricatures and illustrations in the children's offprint. In addition, it made the Uwa invisible; they are only mentioned twice. The newspaper represents the indigenous Bari and Uwa as warriors, associated with the resistance to the conquest and colonization during the 17th and 18th centuries, and as heritage, as it values their existence, their ancestral practices that allow the care of the territory, but in general, there is an underrepresentation of these communities in the media. The purpose of the research was to identify the perceptions and attitudes of university students in the main border and receiving city of Venezuelan migrants in Colombia, to validate the tendency registered in several studies and surveys where discriminatory and xenophobic practices were evident. Through an instrument made up of 35 questions and applied to 216 young people between 16 and 28 years of age, it can be concluded that despite the information they receive from the media, university students understand that the decision to migrate was motivated by adverse situations that Venezuelan people face in their country, putting their survival at risk. This opens the possibility of designing and implementing strategies that promote economic integration, but also cultural integration, based on diversity, respect as a value and recognition of the other not only from the media scenario but also from the communicative action itself. The professional training processes within the undergraduate programs must be mediated by qualified teachers, with a broad theoretical background and significant recognition. These statements are the basis of this research article that aims to understand the stories of tutors who accompany the pedagogical practices of teachers in training at a public university in Norte de Santander - Colombia. The methodological approach is oriented from the qualitative-interpretative paradigm using focus groups as a data collection technique. The conclusions of the study show that teachers who assume the monitoring and mediation of practices within the degree programs must be directly linked to the current context of the educational system in which they perform their work activity, given that in it they can be in constant assertive feedback regarding the teaching role, which can be observed in the practice classrooms of trainee teachers. Teachers in training require curricular elements and pedagogical skills that motivate their teaching qualifications to contribute to their good professional performance. These arguments encourage the present study, which aims to show the different views that teachers in training have on the competencies that a teacher in training should have in the field of early childhood education. The epistemological framework of the research is oriented from the qualitative-interpretative approach, using the focus group as a collection technique. The results show that the conception of the teacher must evolve, having as a fundamental basis the current reality of the society he/she expects to educate, which leads to the need to establish spaces for training and qualification in methodological aspects that allow implementing learning experiences focused on the development of skills and competencies that have an impact on the use of the digital society in a responsible and ratified way in school autonomy and strategies designed to strengthen the learning pace of schoolchildren. Combining the face-to-face and virtual modality in a hybrid environment is a didactic strategy that currently provides the development of knowledge and skills in educational institutions at all levels, allowing the creation of educational environments without space and time restrictions. The objective was to describe the use by teachers in the implementation of a virtual platform and ICT tools under a hybrid environment in the process of teaching and learning science in secondary education after the return to school due to the pandemic. It was developed under a quantitative, descriptive and field design approach. The sample consisted of 32 teachers who teach science in middle school, using a semistructured questionnaire as a data collection technique. It was verified that after the pandemic, some teachers returned to their traditional practices and did not continue with the use of ICT devices, such as the virtual platform to support the teaching and learning processes of students in natural sciences, which does not favor the construction of hybrid learning environments, so it is necessary to work on a digital culture aimed mainly at teachers, since the use of ICT alone does not make a difference, but needs the teacher in terms of curricular organization and its mediation to promote science learning. This research is based on the need to discuss the responsible use of natural resources, on the predatory and devastating role that the human species has played on this planet. But as the research process progressed, other variants of the problem emerged, since it was identified that the irrational use of natural resources has not only affected the ecosystem but has also impacted the lives of various indigenous communities in Colombia. In many cases, these communities realized over time that their ancestral territories were decimated to the point of being cornered into small areas of land with limited access to natural resources, which are necessary for the development of their daily activities and, in the absence of these resources, they experienced a process of colonization that is leading to their extinction as an ancestral culture. This is the actual context in which this research is located, for which the qualitative approach is used since interviews were conducted with four people who are knowledgeable about the problem and who provide valuable information about the understanding of the consequences. This allows concluding that by working towards sustainability and the sustainability of natural resources, society is contributing to the survival of these indigenous communities that are part of the cultural heritage of the nation. The objective of this research is to consider the possible relationship between academic performance and university students' beliefs about Mathematics, particularly in the subject of Integral Calculus. The methodology employed is quantitative, descriptive and correlational, based on a non-experimental design. The instrument used for the collection of information was based on a structured questionnaire of questions with Likert scale type answers, whose validity and reliability were studied, applied to 30 Mechanical Engineering students of the Universidad Francisco de Paula Santander, Cúcuta, Norte de Santander, Colombia, selected by non-probabilistic sampling. For academic performance, the grades of the first pre-test (corresponding to 23.33 % of the final grade of the subject) of Integral Calculus were used. The study aims to analyze the specific competencies and learning outcomes of the Architecture program at the Universidad Francisco de Paula Santander. This process was carried out through a mixed methodological framework with a sequential exploratory design type, through which the regulations and documentation at international, national and institutional levels related to the specific competencies of the discipline of architecture were studied, prioritizing from the international framework the competencies with the highest level of relationship with the academic program, promoting their harmonization with the national and institutional regulations. A consultation instrument was implemented for teachers, graduates and students to assess their level of relationship concerning the curriculum and the pedagogical characteristics of the program, and finally, the specific competencies and learning outcomes were established according to the curricular guidelines of the institution. It was concluded that, at the Latin American level, the specific competencies of the architecture programs are focused on the relevance of the problems of the immediate environment, and that the teachers, students and graduates of the program found a greater relationship with those focused on the exercise of the architectural and/or urban project, as well as with the imaginative, creative, innovative and technological capacities. Citations received from scientific articles published in recognized journals originate the calculation of the impact index of this means of dissemination. SCImago Journal & Country Rank is a free access platform on the Internet that provides indicator information on the quality, prestige and impact of scientific journals over three years. For this purpose, it uses the publications indexed in the Scopus database. In this research, a descriptive analysis has been made (through clusters) of the impact index in SJR journals from Latin American countries in the Top 20 of SJR 2019 with the indicators: H index, Total Docs. (2019), Total Docs. (3 years), Total Refs. (2019), Total Cites (3 years), Citable Docs. (3 years), Cites/Doc. (2 years), Ref./Doc. (2019); in order to analyze and compare them. First, information on the impact rate on SJR is presented. Then, the clusters formed between the SJR impact index and the mentioned indicators are shown. Although in the Rank SJR, the journals PECON (BR), RevMexAA (MX) and ETHE (CO) occupy the first three positions in that order, the first and third stand out in cluster 1 as the best scientific journals in the clusters formed. The objective was to analyze the perceptions of teachers and trainers of professional training belonging to the Universidad Francisco de Paula Santander's faculty of business sciences on work-based e-learning. Methodologically, the research was quantitative, descriptive and cross-sectional. The sample consisted of 71 teachers. The instrument used was a Likert-type questionnaire with several alternatives. The results determined that the formative actions for virtual learning (knowledge, exploration and immersion) increase the teachers' work time for planning and monitoring, considering the training workload, development of synchronous and asynchronous activities, and group and individual activities. It was concluded that establishing a system of virtual learning strategies and tutoring the teaching work is the key to providing a viable approach that allows students to acquire knowledge in a safe environment while solving real-world problems. This article reports the results of a pedagogical intervention through the adaptation of traditional games to reinforce basic operations with natural numbers in third-grade elementary school students. This activity arises as an alternative process through which a ludic-didactic approach is offered to awaken students' interest and motivation in a subject that historically has been labeled as difficult, boring and far from reality. In addition, it is expected to provide teachers with various didactic resources for their teaching practice. The proposal is based on developing complementary activities against the day in a collaborative work context. The results showed the interest shown by the students in work done when they are offered a format different from the conventional one, reporting improvements in the speed of response in mental arithmetic while reducing the level of errors when solving additive or multiplicative situations. Throughout history, there have been many mathematical concepts that have generated difficulties in students, possibly due to their abstract nature, which demands a series of mental skills that must be strengthened throughout the formative process as the brain matures, as has been reviewed in a good deal of research in the field of mathematics education. The concepts of differential calculus do not escape this complex panorama, especially in the derivative area. Several works have highlighted that teachers' promotion of algorithmic teaching causes the main weakness in understanding the concept of the derivative in students. In this context, didactic engineering was implemented to guide the process of teaching the derivative to propose didactic situations that promote its true understanding. The objective was to provide an analytical overview of the perceptions of educators from a public university in northeastern Colombia on the applicability of learning analytics in online environments in the university context. Methodologically, it was qualitative, under an interpretative paradigm and phenomenological perspective, the study took 5 teachers from that university as key informants. A semi-structured interview was used to collect the information. The results revealed that learning analytics offers an interpretative framework that ensures applicability in appropriate pedagogical aspects according to indicators based on the evidence of the data analyzed. It was concluded that, through the analysis of student patterns, it is possible to compare and analyze learning contents, learning organization and learning patterns, and based on these data, to derive the direction of improvement of the teaching method by monitoring learning progress. With the declaration of the pandemic in March 2020 in Colombia, many daily activities were affected, among which are mentioned the development of work, educational, recreational and other activities. This research takes place in a Colombian border city characterized by the predominance of informal employment, a condition that was negatively impacted both by Covid-19 and by the measures taken by the State to mitigate the rates of infection in the population. A group of 359 informal workers was formed who shared their perceptions about what their lives were like before the arrival of the pandemic, what their experiences have been like during the pandemic and what their expectations for the future are. It can be concluded that this population group has been strongly affected in all aspects of their lives mainly due to their economic fragility and that, with the pandemic, the existing gaps between the different social classes have been exacerbated. A bibliometric review was carried out on the production and publication of research papers related to the study of the variable Development of the inverted classroom strategy in Latin America. The purpose of the analysis proposed in this paper is to know the main characteristics of the volume of publications registered in Scopus database during the period 2017-2021 in Latin American countries, achieving the identification of 45 publications. The information provided by said platform was organized by means of graphs and figures categorizing the information by Year of Publication, Country of Origin, Area of Knowledge and Type of Publication. Once these characteristics were described, the position of different authors regarding the proposed topic was referenced by means of a qualitative analysis. Among the main findings of this research, it is found that Colombia, with 26 publications, was the Latin American country with the highest production. The area of knowledge that made the greatest contribution to the construction of bibliographic material referring to the study of the development of the inverted classroom strategy was Social Sciences with 25 published documents, and the type of publication that was most used during the above-mentioned period was the journal article, which represented 69% of the total scientific production. The objective was to design a didactic experience to facilitate the teaching and learning processes of Physics (Kinematics) in students of a public university through ICT under a connectivist approach. It corresponds to a qualitative approach under an action research method. The research was carried out in a context with a group of 28 students enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Natural Sciences at a public university. According to the results, the presence of the teacher presents little interaction, since students control their own learning. In fact, the connective teaching strategy of kinematics showed that the teacher, far from controlling and mediating the teaching-learning process through ICT, must ensure that students create their own connectivity network for lifelong learning.
