Surah Muddessir is a Makki surah consisting of 56 verses, which ranks 74th among the surahs in the Qur'an. It got its name from the word al-müddessir, which means the one who is veiled in the first verse. Because of the fact that it was sent down in the early days of prophethood, the chapter of alMuddessir includes issues such as the existence and unity of Allah, the existence of heaven and hell, and the punishment of unbelievers. When the surah is evaluated within the framework of the Qur'anic sciences, it has been determined that it is related to these sciences in many subjects, and it has been examined together with the examples of the Qur'anic sciences to which the surah is related.
