Colombier district of Rennes (France) mapping on « Entre les dalles » by french artist Mathias Poisson in 2009 is based on walks accross the vertical town. This article attempts to present a reinterpretation of verticality in the light of sensitive mapping of housing estates in urban renewal in the framework of interdisciplinary crossovers between geography, visual arts and artistic performance. In one hand, the description aspect of the map allows ordinary experiences interpretations of a vertical urbanism using towers and slab principle. In other hand, the map invites us to walk in the Colombier. Urban interspaces experiences and hidden practices change the current image of the neighbourhood.
