The 21st century is the millennium of information. It is also seen as the era of explosion of information output and information sources. It is known as the beginning of knowledge age. New patterns of work and new business practices have developed as a result; new kinds of work with new and different skills are required. In this century, the meaning of knowledge has changed. Information delivery to meet user needs is the goal of every college library. For effective information delivery, availability of information resources is very fundamental. The study, therefore, investigated the influence of information resources availability on information delivery in college libraries in Lagos and Oyo states, Nigeria in the 21st century. The study adopted the survey research design with the questionnaire as instrument for data collection. Stratified random sampling technique was used to select 469 registered users out of 4,689 and 73 library staff. The collected data was analysed using frequency distribution, mean and standard deviation for the research questions while Pearson Product Moment Correlation was used to test the hypotheses at 0.05 level of significance. Findings indicated that textbooks, electronic information resources and journals were available in the college libraries. The resources were mostly used on daily basis by students and staff in the college libraries. Study revealed that adequate provision of books, periodic user education and orientation, registration of library users, lending services, reference services, etc. were some of the information service delivery in the college libraries. Results further showed significant influence of information resources availability on information delivery (F (1;470) =40.706, P0.05). The availability of information resources in colleges enabled the college libraries to deliver effective information services to the user community in Emmanuel Alayande College of Education and Yaba College of Technology. It recommends among others that there is need for college libraries to make adequate provisions for recent and up-to-date information resources in both print and non-print formats to meet the needs of their users. The purpose of this paper is to report the result of a study on examining the impact of public library services on educational transformation in Oyo state. Respondents include the student users and librarians of the library. The respondents are engaged through purposive and simple random sampling techniques respectively, the instruments for data collection are self-administered questionnaire and interview. Descriptive survey research design was employed and data was analyzed using statistical package for social science, while the interview was interpreted by listening to the record properly. The result revealed that majority of the respondents patronizes the library occasionally. It was also revealed that the services mainly rendered by the library were lending, reference and user education services, the purpose of using the library were for examination preparations, research, enquiries and educational purposes. Majority of the respondents were satisfied with the services rendered and has impacted their academic activities positively. The major challenges faced are poor funding, epileptic power supply and no internet facilities. The paper therefore offer useful research information that can help public libraries understand what they can do to intensify more in their goal of transforming education positively and what government can do to aid this goal. Users' satisfaction is always paramount to the existence of any academic library. The need to meet the information needs of its users, the staff attitude to encourage client's patronage and an inviting environment that is conducive for reading. Against this backdrop, the study was designed to gauge the perception on the relevance of the library resources, satisfaction of the library staff attitudes and perceived barriers to satisfaction. The paper examines an assessment of the resources and services provision for the disabled library users in University of Ilorin and Federal College of Education (Special) Oyo. The study adapted the qualitative research approach in order to carry out the investigation. The population for this study consisted of all the disabled library patrons in University of Ilorin and Federal College of Education (Special) Oyo. The purposive sampling was used to select sample for this study. Three data gathering instruments consisting of questionnaires, observation and interview were used in this study. Data were analysed using frequency and percentages findings of the study showed that the deaf constitute 126%, follow by the dumb which is 84%. While others are the least in the University of Ilorin and Federal College of Education (Special) Oyo. Most of the disabled library users indicated that the resources and services of the library are accessible in Federal College of Education (Special) Oyo unlike that of university of Ilorin. The article presents the discussion on quality of library services providing to library patrons. Topics include effective teaching and learning requiring the support of librarians and well-stocked libraries; showing correlations between library staffing and reading performance in both grades as well as a decline in enjoyment of reading correlating with a decline in staffing of libraries.
