Abstract

The effects of Anabolic-androgenic steroids on the level of specific biogenic amines and their metabolites in regions of the CNS, associated with aggressive behavior and work capacity are determined. Results indicated that the level of adrenergic and serortonergic amines in the hypothalamus contributed to aggressive behavior and improved performance.
