Abstract

The article focuses on a study on the association between regional cerebral blood flow (rCBF) and thyroid hormone in patients with Alzheimer's disease (AD). The study examined 91 AD patients using an automated region of interest (ROI) technique such as FineSRT software to calculate the value of rCBF and thyroid function. The study shows that there is no significant correlation between thyroid hormone levels and rCBF, which denies the influence of thyroid hormone values on AD pathology.
