Abstract

The article focuses on a formulation for the treatment of uranium skin decontamination which consists of an oil-in-water nanoemulsion containing tricarboxylic calixarene. The calixarene extracts and retains over 80% of uranium content in an aqueous contamination solution. It is noted that the solution is intended to be an emergency treatment for cutaneous contamination.
