Ferroresonance is characterized by overvoltage and irregular operation in power systems, which can greatly endanger system equipment. Mechanism analysis of the ferroresonance phenomenon depends mainly on model accuracy. Due to the fractional-order characteristics of capacitance and inductance, fractional-order models are more universal and accurate than integer-order models. A typical 110 kV ferroresonance model is first established. The influence of the excitation amplitude on the dynamic behavior is analyzed. The fractional-order ferroresonance model is then introduced, and the effects of the fractional order and flux-chain order on the system's motion state are studied via bifurcation diagrams and phase portraits. In order to suppress the nonlinear dynamic behavior of fractional-order ferroresonance systems, a novel fractional-order fast terminal sliding mode control method based on finite-time theory and the frequency distributed model is proposed. A new fractional-order sliding mode surface and control law using a saturation function are developed. A robust fractional-order sliding mode controller could achieve finite-time stabilization and tracking despite model uncertainties and external disturbances. Compared with conventional sliding mode methods, the simulation results highlight the effectiveness and superiority. It is challenging to control and optimize the aluminum electrolysis process due to its non-linearity and high energy consumption. Reducing the cell voltage is crucial for energy consumption reduction. This paper presents an intelligent method of predicting and optimizing cell voltage based on the evaluation of modeling the comprehensive cell state. Firstly, the Savitzky–Golay filtering algorithm(SGFA) is adopted to denoise the sample data to improve the accuracy of the experimental model. Due to the influencing factors of the cell state, a comprehensive evaluation model of the cell state is established. Secondly, the model of the least squares supports vector machine (LSSVM) is proposed to predict the cell voltage. In order to improve the accuracy of the model, the state transition algorithm (STA) is employed to optimize the structure parameters of the model. Thirdly, the optimization and control model of the cell voltage is developed by an analysis of the technical conditions. Then, the STA is used to realize the optimization of the front model. Finally, the actual data were applied to the experiments of the above method, and the proposed STA was compared with other methods. The results of experiments show that this method is efficient and satisfactory. The optimization value of average cell voltage based on the STA-LSSVM is 3.8165v, and it can be used to guide process operation. The DC power consumption is 11,971 KW·h per tonne of aluminum, with a reduction in power consumption of 373 KW·h. This result guarantees the reduction of aluminum electrolysis energy consumption. Plant phenotypic image recognition (PPIR) is an important branch of smart agriculture. In recent years, deep learning has achieved significant breakthroughs in image recognition. Consequently, PPIR technology that is based on deep learning is becoming increasingly popular. First, this paper introduces the development and application of PPIR technology, followed by its classification and analysis. Second, it presents the theory of four types of deep learning methods and their applications in PPIR. These methods include the convolutional neural network, deep belief network, recurrent neural network, and stacked autoencoder, and they are applied to identify plant species, diagnose plant diseases, etc. Finally, the difficulties and challenges of deep learning in PPIR are discussed. Precision irrigation, defined as an efficient water allocation technique characterized by the optimal management and best collaboration of various factors of the irrigation process, attracts considerable attention in agricultural production and crop cultivation. This paper reviews the latest research developments in water allocation mechanism and integrative management effectiveness of precision irrigation, and highlights how irrigation water allocation and integrative management contribute to the high-efficiency performance of precision irrigation techniques; the irrigation models, irrigation infrastructure, and management strategies currently being used are emphasized. Thereafter, the future development prospects in water allocation and integrative management could be systematically analyzed and subsequently explored. Some frontier techniques such as data-oriented irrigation management, performance-proven water allocation, and cloud-based irrigation control are among the critical technologies capable of building a sustainable, integrative, and evolutionary irrigation system while providing the higher quality and efficiency needed for a full application of precision irrigation. This review could be used as an effective reference to study the complicated correlations between precision irrigation and its constructive influences in different environmental conditions, and to facilitate the practical promotion of irrigation productivity with higher accuracy and increased reliability of returns.
