A two-axis stabilizing gimbal is a device that ensures a sensor is working properly on a moving platform. When classical mechanics (Newton–Euler and Lagrange) is employed to model a two-axis stable gimbal, its limitations can complicate the modeling process. To address this issue, a method for establishing a dynamic model for a two-axis stabilizing platform based on the Kane method is proposed in this paper. The Kane method offers the advantage of a simple model structure and computational efficiency. Initially, utilizing a generalized coordinate system, expressions of the generalized velocities, deflection velocities and angular velocities are derived. Subsequently, the generalized active forces and inertial forces acting on the two-axis stabilized gimbal are analyzed. Finally, by combining force and velocity with the Kane equation, the dynamic model of the two-axis stable platform is obtained, demonstrating the validity of the Kane method for establishing the two-axis stable platform model. To ensure the pointing accuracy stability of the two-axis stabilizing platform, a Novel Particle Swarm Optimization Proportion Integration Differentiation (NPSO-PID) controller is designed using the PSO algorithm. It is then simulated in MATLAB/Simulink and compared with a classical PID controller. Simulation results demonstrate that NPSO-PID exhibits superior object tracking performance compared to classical PID controllers and better optimization of control parameters compared to traditional PSO-PID controllers. Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) has the advantage of continuous observation throughout the day and in all weather conditions, and is used in a wide range of military and civil applications. Among these, the detection of ships at sea is an important research topic. Ships in SAR images are characterized by dense alignment, an arbitrary orientation and multiple scales. The existing detection algorithms are unable to solve these problems effectively. To address these issues, A YOLOV8-based oriented ship detection and classification method using SAR imaging with lightweight receptor field feature convolution, bottleneck transformers and a probabilistic intersection-over-union network (R-LRBPNet) is proposed in this paper. First, a CSP bottleneck with two bottleneck transformer (C2fBT) modules based on bottleneck transformers is proposed; this is an improved feature fusion module that integrates the global spatial features of bottleneck transformers and the rich channel features of C2f. This effectively reduces the negative impact of densely arranged scenarios. Second, we propose an angle decoupling module. This module uses probabilistic intersection-over-union (ProbIoU) and distribution focal loss (DFL) methods to compute the rotated intersection-over-union (RIoU), which effectively alleviates the problem of angle regression and the imbalance between angle regression and other regression tasks. Third, the lightweight receptive field feature convolution (LRFConv) is designed to replace the conventional convolution in the neck. This module can dynamically adjust the receptive field according to the target scale and calculate the feature pixel weights based on the input feature map. Through this module, the network can efficiently extract details and important information about ships to improve the classification performance of the ship. We conducted extensive experiments on the complex scene SAR dataset SRSDD and SSDD+. The experimental results show that R-LRBPNet has only 6.8 MB of model memory, which can achieve 78.2% detection accuracy, 64.2% recall, a 70.51 F1-Score and 71.85% mAP on the SRSDD dataset. As a mosquito-borne flavivirus, Zika virus (ZIKV) has been identified as a global health threat. The virus has been linked to severe congenital disabilities, including microcephaly and other congenital malformations, resulting in fatal intrauterine death. Therefore, developing sensitive and specific methods for the early detection and accurate diagnosis of the ZIKV is essential for controlling its spread and mitigating its impact on public health. Herein, we set up a novel nucleic acid detection system based on Pyrococcus furiosus Argonaute (PfAgo)-mediated nucleic acid detection, targeting the non-structural protein 5 (NS5) region of the ZIKV genome (abbreviated ZIKV-PAND). Without preamplification with the polymerase chain reaction (PCR), the minimum detection concentration (MDC) of ZIKV-PAND was about 10 nM. When introducing an amplification step, the MDC can be dramatically decreased to the aM level (8.3 aM), which is comparable to qRT-PCR assay (1.6 aM). In addition, the diagnostic findings from the analysis of simulated clinical samples or Zika virus samples using ZIKV-PAND show a complete agreement of 100% with qRT-PCR assays. This correlation can aid in the implementation of molecular testing for clinical diagnoses and the investigation of ZIKV infection on an epidemiological scale. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

As economic fluctuations and market uncertainty intensify, supply chain members face enormous challenges. To explore the role of revenue-sharing contracts in supply chain members with different risk preferences, we study the risk-averse two-stage supply chain coordination in a revenue-sharing contract under three different scenarios: the supplier is risk-averse and the retailer is risk-neutral, or the retailer is risk-averse and the supplier is risk-neutral, or both are risk-averse. We find that the revenue-sharing contract mechanism allows the supplier to offer a lower wholesale price, effectively bearing part of the retailer's cost risk. In return, the retailer compensates the supplier with a larger portion of their revenue, and the lower wholesale price also stimulates the retailer's desire to order more products. In addition, risk aversion always reduces the optimal order quantity in the supply chain. Interestingly, when the retailer's risk aversion level is low, the supplier charges a higher wholesale price under the risk-averse supply chain than that under the risk-neutral supply chain. However, if the retailer's risk aversion level is high enough, the supplier should charge a lower price to stimulate the retailer under the risk-averse supply chain to retain the order size to maintain the channel profit. Geranylgeranylacetone (GGA) exerts cytoprotective activity against various toxic stressors via the thioredoxin (TRX) redox system; however, its effect on skin inflammation and molecular mechanism on inducing the TRX of GGA is still unknown. We investigated the effects of GGA in a murine irritant contact dermatitis (ICD) model induced by croton oil. Both a topical application and oral administration of GGA induced TRX production and Nrf2 activation. GGA ameliorated ear swelling, neutrophil infiltration, and inhibited the expression of TNF-α, IL-1β, GM-CSF, and 8-OHdG. GGA's cytoprotective effect was stronger orally than topically in mice. In vitro studies also showed that GGA suppressed the expression of NLRP3, TNF-α, IL-1β, and GM-CSF and scavenged ROS in PAM212 cells after phorbol myristate acetate stimulation. Moreover, GGA induced endogenous TRX production and Nrf2 nuclear translocation in PAM212 cells (dependent on the presence of ROS) and activated the PI3K-Akt signaling pathway. GGA significantly downregulated thioredoxin-interacting protein (TXNIP) levels in PAM212 cells treated with or without Nrf2 siRNA. After knocking down Nrf2 in PAM212 cells, the effect of GGA on TRX induction was significantly inhibited. This suggests that GGA suppress ICD by inducing endogenous TRX, which may be regulated by PI3K/Akt/Nrf2 mediation of the TRX redox system. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

In this study, novel Zn catalysts were prepared by the wet impregnation method using printing and dyeing wastewater (PDW)-modified petroleum coke (petcoke) as a carrier, and they were applied to the acetylene acetoxylation. The pretreated petroleum coke has a high specific surface area which provides sufficient space for the loading of Zn. Calcination further increases catalyst activity, but when calcination temperatures exceed 1000 °C, a significant loss of Zn occurs, resulting in a dramatic decrease in catalyst activity. This enables the conversion of acetic acid up to 85%. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy confirmed that a large amount of N is introduced into PC from PDW, which changes the electron transfer around Zn. Temperature-programmed desorption (TPD) analysis revealed that the nitrogen-doped Zn(OAc)2 catalyst enhanced the catalytic activity by modulating the intensity of the catalyzed adsorption of acetic acid and acetylene. The preparation method and calcination temperature of metal-organic framework (MOFs)-derived materials are critical factors affecting catalytic performance. In this work, the preparation conditions of MOFS precursors were optimized, and zinc-based catalysts with different activities (MOF5-700, MOF5-750, and MOF5-800) were obtained by pyrolysis of MOFS precursors under nitrogen, which were then applied to an acetylene acetoxylation reaction system. According to the results, the conversion rate of acetic acid under catalysis was significantly different. (MOF5-700 (48%), MOF5-750 (62%), and MOF5-800 (22%)). Comparing the activity of the catalyst with the industrial catalyst Zn(OAc)2/AC (20%), MOF5-750 showed higher activity, and the acetic acid conversion rate remained around 60% after 50 h of stability testing. By characterization analysis, MOFs-derived materials were obtained after proper temperature pyrolysis. They have high mesoporous content, defects, and oxygen-containing functional groups and can maintain a good crystal structure, greatly reducing the loss of active components. This is the main reason for the good performance of the MOF5-750 catalyst in acetylene acetoxylation. The role of solvents is crucial in catalyst preparation. With regard to catalysts prepared with activated carbon (AC) as the carrier, when water is used as a solvent it is difficult for the solution to infiltrate the AC. Because AC comprises a large number of C atoms and is a nonpolar material, it is more effective for the adsorption of nonpolar substances. Since the water and active ingredients are polar, they cannot easily infiltrate AC. In this study, the dispersion of the active component was significantly improved by optimizing the solvent, and the particle size of the active component was reduced from 33.08 nm to 15.30 nm. The specific surface area of the catalyst is significantly increased, by 10%, reaching 991.49 m2/g. Under the same reaction conditions, the conversion of acetic acid by the catalyst prepared with the mixed solvent was maintained at approximately 65%, which was 22% higher than that obtained using the catalyst prepared with water as the solvent. New Mannich bases, 3-morpholino-1-phenylpropan-1-one (MPO) and 3-morpholino-1-phenyl-3-(pyridin-4-yl) propan-1-one (MPPO), were synthesized, characterized, and studied as corrosion inhibitors for N80 steel in 1 M hydrochloric acid (HCl) solution using weight loss, potentiodynamic polarization, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, and FT-IR spectroscopy. The inhibition efficiency increases with increasing inhibitor concentrations, and the corrosion inhibition efficiency of the MPO and MPPO could reach 90.3% and 91.4%, respectively, at a concentration of 300 ppm at 305 K. The effect of the temperature on the corrosion inhibition behavior of inhibitors was discussed. Electrochemical tests showed that the synthesized inhibitors are mixed. The EIS test results showed that the presence of MPO and MPPO reduced the double-layer capacitance in the corrosion process, thereby reducing the charge transfer resistance. The SEM and EDX results showed that the MPO and MPPO formed a uniform adsorption film on the surface of the N80 steel. The adsorption mechanism of the inhibitors was simulated with different adsorption models and the results showed that the inhibitors were the chemisorbed type. This paper proposes a low-computing-complexity touch signal detection method and analog front-end (AFE) circuits based on cross-correlation technology for large mutual capacitance touch screen panels (TSPs). To solve the traditional touch signal detection method problem of lots of invalid data being sampled and processed in a large-size TSP, the proposed method only samples and processes the signals around the touch points rather than full-screen data to decrease the computing complexity and analog–digital convertor (ADC) acquisition number. Compared with the traditional method, the proposed touch points search algorithm complexity decreases from MN to M + nN where M, N, and n are the number of RX channels, TX channels, and touch points, respectively. The maximum ADC acquisition number of the proposed method decreases from MN to 18n. Based on the proposed touch signal detection method, the AFE circuits are designed by a 0.11 μm process. The proposed dual cross-correlation AFE achieves detection of the weak touch signal submerged in the large display panel noise. The average channel area and power consumption are decreased to 0.015 mm2 and 0.227 mW, respectively. The maximum frame rate is 384.6 Hz with 10 touch points. Metal–organic frameworks (MOFs)-derived materials with a large specific surface area and rich pore structures are favorable for catalytic performance. In this work, MOFs are successfully prepared. Through pyrolysis of MOFs under nitrogen gas, zinc-based catalysts with different active sites for acetylene acetoxylation are obtained. The influence of the oxygen atom, nitrogen atom, and coexistence of oxygen and nitrogen atoms on the structure and catalytic performance of MOFs-derived catalysts was investigated. According to the results, the catalysts with different catalytic activity are Zn-O-C (33%), Zn-O/N-C (27%), and Zn-N-C (12%). From the measurements of X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), it can be confirmed that the formation of different active sites affects the electron cloud density of zinc. The acrylamide (AM)/methacryloyl ethyl sulfobetaine (SPE)/behenyl polyoxyethylene ether methacrylate (BEM) terpolymer (PASB) was synthesized by soap-free emulsion polymerization. Four types of PASBs were synthesized by adjusting the moles of AM and BEM with constant total moles of monomers. The synthesized copolymers were characterized by Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy, thermogravimetry, molecular weight, and viscosity. By measuring the microscopic morphology and backscattered light intensity of the emulsions, the instability process of the emulsions prepared by PASBs was investigated in detail. The main instability processes of the emulsions prepared from PASBs within 45 min were flocculation and coalescence. The intermolecular association of copolymer PASBs was dominated by the behenyl functional groups on the molecular chains. The stability of the emulsions, which were prepared from isoviscosity aqueous solutions controlled by the concentration of the associative copolymers, was increased with the degree of association of copolymers. The hydrophobic association between the copolymer molecules can further slow down the flocculation and coalescence of the emulsion droplets on the basis of the same aqueous solution viscosity, which is one of the reasons for improving the stability of the emulsion. Zinc acetate (Zn(OAc)2) loaded on activated carbon (AC) is the most commonly used catalyst for the industrial synthesis of vinyl acetate (VAc) using the acetylene method. The aim of this study is to optimize the Zn(OAc)2/AC catalyst by adding co-catalysts to improve its activity and stability. Ternary catalysts were synthesized by adding Co and Ni to the Zn(OAc)2/AC catalyst (Zn-Co-Ni/AC). Due to the strong synergistic effect among promoter Co, Ni, and the active component of Zn(OAc)2, the resulting catalyst is capable to absorb more acetic acid and less acetylene. The stability and activity of Zn-Co-Ni/AC catalyst have been improved through electron transfer to alter the electron cloud density around the Zn element. Under the same reaction conditions, the activity of Zn-Co-Ni/AC catalyst was enhanced by 83% compared to that of Zn(OAc)2/AC, and the activity was still as high as 30.1% after 120 h of testing.
