The looking-down mode of space airship bistatic radars faces complex sea–land clutter, and the mode of wide-range surveillance and the over-sight detection of the satellite platform generates a low SNR and range–Doppler ambiguity. The method traditionally used involves the transmission of multiple Pulse Repetition Frequencies (PRFs) and correlating them to solve the ambiguity. However, with a low SNR, the traditional disambiguation fails due to the large number of false alarms and target omissions. In order to solve this problem, a new algorithm for multi-target joint detection and range–Doppler disambiguation based on an ambiguity matrix is presented. Firstly, all possible state values corresponding to the ambiguous sequence are filled into the ambiguity matrix one by one. Secondly, the state values in the matrix cell are divided into several groups of subsequences according to the PRF. By disambiguating multiple sets of subsequences, performing subsequence fusion, and then undertaking point aggregation, the targets can be effectively detected in scenarios with a strong clutter rate, the false alarms can be suppressed, and the disambiguation of the range and Doppler is completed. The simulation shows that the proposed algorithm has the strong ability to detect targets and perform ambiguity resolution in the scenario of a multi-target and multi-false alarm. Real-Time (RT) Precise Point Positioning (PPP) uses precise satellite orbits and clock corrections, and employs a separate receiver for positioning. With the growing demand, RT PPP is becoming an increasingly popular research topic. The ambiguity resolution (AR) can significantly improve the positioning accuracy and convergence time of PPP, so it is essential to study PPPAR in RT mode. In this paper, 37 MGEX stations from around the world are chosen, and the RT orbit, clock, and phase biases products broadcast by the Centre National d'Etudes Spatiales (CNES) are applied to PPPAR. Additionally, the residuals of the RT phase biases products, convergence time, and positioning accuracy are investigated. The results indicate that GPS products have the best quality of AR, with wide-lane (WL) and narrow-lane (NL) residuals of 98.9% and 95.3%, respectively, within ±0.25 cycles. Within ±0.25 cycles, the WL and NL residuals of the Galileo are 98.2% and 94.3%, respectively. Within ±0.25 cycles, the (Beidou Navigation Satellite System) BDS has a poor quality of AR, with WL and NL residuals of 97.3% and 73.1%, respectively. Due to the poor quality of the BDS AR, the convergence time of the BDS is not calculated in this paper. The convergence time of other systems is significantly reduced after AR processing, and the convergence time of the GPS/Galileo combination is the fastest, being 17.14 min in kinematic mode and only 11.85 min in static mode. The fast and accurate solution of integer ambiguity is the key to achieve GNSS high-precision positioning. Based on the lattice theory of high-dimensional ambiguity solving, the reduction time consumption is much larger than the search time consumption, and it is especially important to improve the efficiency of the lattice basis reduction algorithm. The Householder QR decomposition with minimal column pivoting is utilized to pre-sort the basis vectors and reduce the number of basis vector exchanges during the reduction process by partial size reduction and relaxing the basis vector exchange condition to improve the reduction efficiency of the LLL algorithm. The improved algorithm is validated using simulated and measured data, respectively, and the performance advantages and disadvantages of the improved algorithm are evaluated from the perspectives of the extent of reduction basis orthogonality and the quality of reduction basis size reduction. The results show that the improved LLL algorithm can significantly reduce the number of basis vector exchanges and the reduction time consumption. The HSLLL and PSLLL algorithms with the Siegel condition as the basis vector exchange condition have a better reduction effect, but are slightly less stable. Ambiguity resolution based on smartphone GNSS measurements can enable various potential applications that currently remain difficult due to ambiguity biases, especially under kinematic conditions. This study proposes an improved ambiguity resolution algorithm, which uses the search-and-shrink procedure coupled with the methods of the multi-epoch double-differenced residual test and the ambiguity majority tests for candidate vectors and ambiguities. By performing a static experiment with Xiaomi Mi 8, the AR efficiency of the proposed method is evaluated. Furthermore, a kinematic test with Google Pixel 5 verifies the effectiveness of the proposed method with improved positioning performance. In conclusion, centimeter-level smartphone positioning accuracy is achieved in both experiments, which is greatly improved compared with the float and traditional AR solutions. Reasonable urban commercial planning must clarify the location and scope of urban commercial districts (UCDs). However, existing studies typically detect spurious UCDs owing to the bias in a single data source while ignoring the continuity and ambiguity of commercial district boundaries. Therefore, in this study, we designed a two-stage approach for detecting UCDs. First, points of interest and population heat data were fused through hotspot and overlay analyses to detect core commercial areas. The boundaries of the UCDs were then identified by considering adjacent blocks using adjusted cosine similarity and region-growing algorithms. Finally, an experiment was conducted in Xiamen, revealing concentrated businesses on Xiamen Island and sparse businesses outside Xiamen Island. An experimental comparison with other strategies confirmed the improved modeling ability of this approach for the edge ambiguity of UCDs. The speed and direction of a missile shifts sharply in the dive phase, making the azimuth frequency modulation (FM) rate change with the azimuthal position, leading to azimuth ambiguities and image distortion. To solve this problem, a modified nonlinear chirp scaling (NLCS) algorithm was adopted to compensate for the azimuth FM rate. First, the geometric configuration and echo signal model of the spaceborne missile bistatic synthetic aperture radar (SAR) were built, and then the Doppler frequency correction was performed, and the 2-D spectrum of the signal was derived by the method of series reversion. Next, range migration correction and range compression were finished in the 2-D frequency domain. Following this, a modified NLCS algorithm was proposed to solve the space variance of Doppler phase problem. After compensating for the azimuth FM rate, the azimuth compression focusing was completed and the imaging result was obtained. Finally, by comparing the calculation amount, imaging effect, and performance index with the traditional NLCS algorithm, it can be concluded that the algorithm reduced the calculation amount by 1.0128 × 108 floating point operations per second (FLOPs) compared with the traditional NLCS algorithm, and the azimuth focusing effect of the edge point was greatly improved. Its resolution, peak sidelobe ratio (PSLR), and integrated sidelobe ratio (ISLR) were improved by 0.87 m, 3.32 dB, and 1.79 dB, respectively, which proved the effectiveness and feasibility of this method. With the development and integration of GNSS systems in the world, the positioning accuracy and reliability of GNSS navigation services are increasing in various fields. Because the current multisystem fusion leads to an increase in the ambiguity dimension and the ambiguity parameters have discrete characteristics, the current conventional search algorithm leads to low search efficiency when the ambiguity dimension is large. Therefore, this paper describes a new algorithm that searches the optimal lattice points by lattice theory through the breadth-first algorithm and reduces the search space of ambiguity by calculating and judging the Euclidean distance between each search variable and the target one so as to propose a new lattice ambiguity search algorithm based on the breadth-first algorithm. This paper presents an analytic algorithm for estimating three-dimensional (3-D) localization of a single source with uniform circular array (UCA) interferometers. Fourier transforms are exploited to expand the phase distribution of a single source and the localization problem is reformulated as an equivalent spectrum manipulation problem. The 3-D parameters are decoupled to different spectrums in the Fourier domain. Algebraic relations are established between the 3-D localization parameters and the Fourier spectrums. Fourier sampling theorem ensures that the minimum element number for 3-D localization of a single source with a UCA is five. Accuracy analysis provides mathematical insights into the 3-D localization algorithm that larger number of elements gives higher estimation accuracy. In addition, the phase-based high-order difference invariance (HODI) property of a UCA is found and exploited to realize phase range compression. Following phase range compression, ambiguity resolution is addressed by the HODI of a UCA. A major advantage of the algorithm is that the ambiguity resolution and 3-D localization estimation are both analytic and are processed simultaneously, hence computationally efficient. Precise Point Positioning (PPP), as a global precise positioning technique, suffers from relatively long convergence times, hindering its ability to be the default precise positioning technique. Reducing the PPP convergence time is a must to reach global precise positions, and doing so in a few minutes to seconds can be achieved thanks to the additional frequencies that are being broadcast by the modernized GNSS constellations. Due to discrepancies in the number of signals broadcast by each satellite/constellation, it is necessary to have a model that can process a mix of signals, depending on availability, and perform ambiguity resolution (AR), a technique that proved necessary for rapid convergence. This manuscript does so by expanding the uncombined Decoupled Clock Model to process and fix ambiguities on up to three frequencies depending on availability for GPS, Galileo, and BeiDou. GLONASS is included as well, without carrier-phase ambiguity fixing. Results show the possibility of consistent quasi-instantaneous global precise positioning through an assessment of the algorithm on a network of global stations, as the 67th percentile solution converges below 10 cm horizontal error within 2 min, compared to 8 min with a triple-frequency solution, showing the importance of having a flexible PPP-AR model frequency-wise. In terms of individual datasets, 14% of datasets converge instantaneously when mixing dual- and triple-frequency measurements, compared to just 0.1% in that of dual-frequency mode without ambiguity resolution. Two kinematic car datasets were also processed, and it was shown that instantaneous centimetre-level positioning with a moving receiver is possible. These results are promising as they only rely on ultra-rapid global satellite products, allowing for instantaneous real-time precise positioning without the need for any local infrastructure or prior knowledge of the receiver's environment. Multichannel high-resolution and wide-swath (HRWS) synthetic aperture radar (SAR) is a vital technique for modern remote sensing. As multichannel SAR systems usually face the problem of azimuth nonuniform sampling resulting in azimuth ambiguity, the conventional reconstruction methods are adopted to obtain the uniformly sampled signal. However, various errors, especially amplitude, phase, and baseline errors, always significantly degrade the performance of the reconstruction methods. To solve this problem, in this paper, a novel sub-image local area minimum entropy reconstruction method (SILAMER) is proposed, which has favorable adaptability to the HRWS SAR system with various errors. First, according to the idea of image domain reconstruction, the sub-images are generated by employing the back-projection algorithm. Then, we proposed an estimation algorithm based on sub-image local area minimum entropy to obtain the optimal reconstruction coefficient and the compensation phase, which can greatly improve the estimation efficiency by using a local area of the sub-image as the input for estimation. Finally, the sub-images are weighted by the optimal estimated reconstruction coefficient and calibrated by the compensation phase to obtain the unambiguous reconstruction image. The experimental results verify the effectiveness of the proposed method. Noticeably, the proposed algorithm has two additional advantages, i.e., (1) it can perform well under the condition of low signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), and (2) it is suitable for the curved trajectory SAR reconstruction. Precise single-point positioning using carrier-phase measurements can be provided by the synchronized pseudolite system. The primary task of carrier phase positioning is ambiguity resolution (AR) with rapidity and reliability. As the pseudolite system is usually operated in the dense multipath environment, cycle slips may lead the conventional least-squares ambiguity decorrelation adjustment (LAMBDA) method to incorrect AR. A new AR method based on the idea of the modified ambiguity function approach (MAFA), which is insensitive to the cycle slips, is studied in this paper. To improve the model strength of the MAFA and to eliminate the influence of constant multipath biases on the time-average model in static mode, the kinematic multi-epoch MAFA (kinematic ME-MAFA) algorithm is proposed. A heuristic method for predicting the 'float position' corresponding to every Voronoi cell of the next epoch, making use of Doppler-based velocity information, is implemented to improve the computational efficiency. If the success rate is very close to 1, it is possible to guarantee reliable centimeter-level accuracy positioning without further ambiguity validation. Therefore, a computing method of the success rate for the kinematic ME-MAFA is proposed. Both the numerical simulations and the kinematic experiment demonstrate the feasibility of the new AR algorithm according to its accuracy and reliability. Measurements of ocean surface currents in coastal waters are crucial for improving our understanding of tidal atlases, as well as for ecosystem and water pollution monitoring. This paper proposes an improved method for estimating the baseline-to-platform speed ratio (BPSR) for improving the current line-of-sight (LOS) velocity measurement accuracy in coastal waters with along-track interferometric synthetic aperture radar (ATI-SAR) based on eigenvalue spectrum entropy (EVSE) analysis. The estimation of BPSR utilizes the spaceborne along-track interferometry and considers the effects of a satellite orbit and an inaccurate baseline responsible for azimuth ambiguity in coastal waters. Unlike the existing methods, which often assume idealized rather than actual operating environments, the proposed approach considers the accuracy of BPSR, which is its key advantage applicable to many, even poorly designed, ATI-SAR systems. This is achieved through an alternate algorithm for the suppression of azimuth ambiguity and BPSR estimation based on an improved analysis of the eigenvalue spectrum entropy, which is an important parameter representing the mixability of unambiguous and ambiguous signals. The improvements include the consideration of a measurement of the heterogeneity of the scene, the corrections of coherence-inferred phase fluctuation (CPF), and the interferogram-derived phase variability (IPV); the last two variables are closely related to the determination of the EVSE threshold. Besides, the BPSR estimation also represents an improvement that has not been achieved in previous work of EVSE analysis. When the improved method is used on the simulated ocean-surface current LOS velocity data obtained from a coastal area, the root-mean-square error is less than 0.05 m/s. Accurate remote determination of the object coordinates in 3D space is one of the main questions in many applications. In one of the most popular methods, such determination of the location of an object uses the measurement by receiving an electromagnetic signal transmitted by several spatially distributed base stations (BS). The main problem is that it is necessary to reduce errors and computation time. To overcome these difficulties, an analytical method for determining the position of an object based on the analysis of time difference of arrival (TDoA) of signals from the transmitter of the object to the receivers of the BS is proposed. One of the main advantages of this method is that it is possible to eliminate the ambiguity in determining the coordinates of the object in space and to increase the accuracy of determining the coordinates when the TDoA measurement between base stations fluctuates. Applications for autonomous automotive vehicles and space-based positioning systems are analyzed. The results obtained show that the proposed algorithm has an accuracy of determining coordinates several times higher than the method of linearization of hyperbolic equations and is less sensitive to TDoA fluctuations at base stations. A novel unitary estimation of signal parameters via rotational invariance techniques (ESPRIT) algorithm, for the joint direction of arrival (DOA) and range estimation in a monostatic multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) radar with a frequency diverse array (FDA), is proposed. Firstly, by utilizing the property of Centro-Hermitian of the received data, the extended real-valued data is constructed to improve estimation accuracy and reduce computational complexity via unitary transformation. Then, to avoid the coupling between the angle and range in the transmitting array steering vector, the DOA is estimated by using the rotation invariance of the receiving subarrays. Thereafter, an automatic pairing method is applied to estimate the range of the target. Since phase ambiguity is caused by the phase periodicity of the transmitting array steering vector, a removal method of phase ambiguity is proposed. Finally, the expression of Cramér–Rao Bound (CRB) is derived and the computational complexity of the proposed algorithm is compared with the ESPRIT algorithm. Circular synthetic aperture radar (CSAR) has a 360° observation capability on the central observation scenario. A typical way to process CSAR imaging is to cut data into small sub-apertures because most targets are only coherent at a very small observation angle. There are many sub-aperture imaging methods after development in recent years. The back-projection algorithm is widely used because it is simple and can be applied to an arbitrary trajectory. Because of the limitation of the Nyquist sampling frequency and influence of the antenna sidelobe, azimuth ambiguity is a phenomenon that may occur in the radar imaging process. The existing researches typically choose the back-projection (BP) imaging area according to the SAR platform flight path and the antenna beam width. The limitation of the CSAR imaging area and its azimuth ambiguity region are rarely analyzed theoretically. This paper focus on the sub-aperture imaging of CSAR, based on the BP algorithm, which derives the relationship of azimuth ambiguity with CSAR parameters such as the pause repeat frequency (PRF), slant range angle, velocity of radar platform, etc. This paper proposes an equation for the calculation of the azimuth ambiguity region and analyzes the limitations, which provides theoretical support for CSAR parameter design, imaging area selection, and azimuth ambiguity analysis. The synthetic aperture radar (SAR) image of moving targets will defocus due to the unknown motion parameters. For fast-maneuvering targets, the range cell migration (RCM), Doppler frequency migration and Doppler ambiguity are complex problems. As a result, focusing of fast-maneuvering targets is difficult. In this work, an efficient SAR refocusing algorithm is proposed for fast-maneuvering targets. The proposed algorithm mainly contains three steps. Firstly, the RCM is corrected using sequence reversing, matrix complex multiplication and an improved second-order RCM correction function. Secondly, a 1D scaled Fourier transform is introduced to estimate the remaining chirp rate. Thirdly, a matched filter based on the estimated chirp rate is proposed to focus the maneuvering target in the range–azimuth time domain. The proposed method is computationally efficient because it can be implemented by the fast Fourier transform (FFT), inverse FFT and non-uniform FFT. A new deramp function is proposed to further address the serious problem of Doppler ambiguity. A spurious peak recognition procedure is proposed on the basis of the cross-term analysis.
