This research delves into the transformative journey these mining regions undergo, from pre-mining equilibrium, through the tumultuous phase of extraction, to the eventual restoration of stability post-reclamation. By harnessing a suite of analytical tools, including sophisticated remote sensing, UAV aerial surveys, and the meticulous ground-level sampling of flora and soil, the study meticulously measures the environmental toll of mining activities and charts the path to ecological restoration. The results are promising, indicating that the restoration initiatives are effectively healing the landscapes, with proactive interventions such as seeding, afforestation, and land rehabilitation proving vital in the swift ecological turnaround. Remote sensing technology, in particular, emerges as a robust ally in tracking ecological shifts, supporting sustainable practices and guiding ecological management strategies. This study offers a promising framework for assessing geological environmental shifts, which may guide policymakers in shaping the future of mining rehabilitation in arid and semi-arid regions. Nonsense mutations are genetic mutations that create premature termination codons (PTCs), leading to truncated, defective proteins in diseases such as cystic fibrosis, neurofibromatosis type 1, Dravet syndrome, Hurler syndrome, Beta thalassemia, inherited bone marrow failure syndromes, Duchenne muscular dystrophy, and even cancer. These mutations can also trigger a cellular surveillance mechanism known as nonsense-mediated mRNA decay (NMD) that degrades the PTC-containing mRNA. The activation of NMD can attenuate the consequences of truncated, defective, and potentially toxic proteins in the cell. Since approximately 20% of all single-point mutations are disease-causing nonsense mutations, it is not surprising that this field has received significant attention, resulting in a remarkable advancement in recent years. In fact, since our last review on this topic, new examples of nonsense suppression approaches have been reported, namely new ways of promoting the translational readthrough of PTCs or inhibiting the NMD pathway. With this review, we update the state-of-the-art technologies in nonsense suppression, focusing on novel modalities with therapeutic potential, such as small molecules (readthrough agents, NMD inhibitors, and molecular glue degraders); antisense oligonucleotides; tRNA suppressors; ADAR-mediated RNA editing; targeted pseudouridylation; and gene/base editing. While these various modalities have significantly advanced in their development stage since our last review, each has advantages (e.g., ease of delivery and specificity) and disadvantages (manufacturing complexity and off-target effect potential), which we discuss here. Dopamine (DA) and uric acid (UA) are essential for many physiological processes in the human body. Abnormal levels of DA and UA can lead to multiple diseases, such as Parkinson's disease and gout. In this work, a three-dimensional reduced graphene oxide–MXene (3D rGO-Ti3C2) composite electrode was prepared using a simple one-step hydrothermal reduction process, which could separate the oxidation potentials of DA and UA, enabling the simultaneous detection of DA and UA. The 3D rGO-Ti3C2 electrode exhibited excellent electrocatalytic activity towards both DA and UA. In 0.01 M PBS solution, the linear range of DA was 0.5–500 µM with a sensitivity of 0.74 µA·µM−1·cm−2 and a detection limit of 0.056 µM (S/N = 3), while the linear range of UA was 0.5–60 µM and 80–450 µM, with sensitivity of 2.96 and 0.81 µA·µM−1·cm−2, respectively, and a detection limit of 0.086 µM (S/N = 3). In 10% fetal bovine serum (FBS) solution, the linear range of DA was 0.5–500 µM with a sensitivity of 0.41 µA·µM−1·cm−2 and a detection limit of 0.091 µM (S/N = 3). The linear range of UA was 2–500 µM with a sensitivity of 0.11 µA·µM−1·cm−2 and a detection limit of 0.6 µM (S/N = 3). The modified electrode exhibited advantages such as high sensitivity, a strong anti-interference capability, and good repeatability. Furthermore, the modified electrode was successfully used for DA measurement in vivo. This could present a simple reliable route for neurotransmitter detection in neuroscience. This retrospective study aimed to analyze the treatment effect and prognostic factors of pediatric acute myeloid leukemia (AML) patients with t(8;21). A total of 268 newly diagnosed pediatric AML (pAML) enrolled from 1 January 2005 to 31 December 2022 were retrospectively reviewed, and 50 (18.7%) patients harbored t(8;21) translocation. CR rate, OS, EFS, and RFS were assessed by multivariate Logistic and Cox regression models in these patients. Of the 50 patients, 2 patients abandoned treatment during the first induction course. Of the remaining 48 patients who received double-induction therapy and were included in the final analyses, CR1 and CR2 were 75.0% (36/48) and 95.8% (46/48), respectively. The overall three-year OS, EFS, and RFS were 68.4% (95% CI, 55.0–85.1), 64.2% (95% CI, 50.7–81.4), and 65.5% (95% CI, 51.9–82.8), respectively. The presence of loss of sex chromosome (LOS) at diagnosis (n = 21) was associated with a better 3-year OS [87.5% (95% CI, 72.7–100) vs. 52.7% (95% CI, 35.1–79.3), p = 0.0089], 3-year EFS [81.6% (95% CI, 64.7–100) vs. 49.7% (95% CI, 32.4–76.4), p = 0.023], and 3-year RFS [81.6% (95% CI, 64.7–100) vs. 51.7% (95% CI, 33.9–78.9), p = 0.036] than those without LOS (n = 27), and it was also an independent good prognostic factor of OS (HR, 0.08 [95% CI, 0.01–0.48], p = 0.005), EFS (HR, 0.22 [95% CI, 0.05–0.85], p = 0.029), and RFS (HR, 0.21 [95% CI, 0.05–0.90], p = 0.035). However, extramedullary leukemia (EML) featured the independent risk factors of inferior OS (HR, 10.99 [95% CI, 2.08–58.12], p = 0.005), EFS (HR, 4.75 [95% CI, 1.10–20.61], p = 0.037), and RFS (HR, 6.55 [95% CI, 1.40–30.63], p = 0.017) in pediatric individuals with t(8;21) AML. Further analysis of combining LOS with EML indicated that the EML+LOS− subgroup had significantly inferior OS (92.9%, [95% CI, 80.3–100]), EFS (86.2%, [95% CI, 70.0–100]), and RFS (86.2%, [95% CI, 80.3–100]) compared to the other three subgroups (all p < 0.001). The intestinal epithelial barrier can prevent the invasion of pathogenic microorganisms and food antigens to maintain a consistent intestinal homeostasis. However, an imbalance in this barrier can result in various diseases, such as inflammatory bowel disease, malnutrition, and metabolic disease. Thus, the aim of this study was to select probiotic strains with epithelial barrier-enhancing ability in cell-based model and further investigate them for their improving effects on colitis mouse and weaned piglet models. The results showed that selected specific cell-free fermentation supernatants (CFSs) from Ligilactobacillus salivarius P1, Lactobacillus gasseri P12, and Limosilactobacillus reuteri G7 promoted intestinal epithelial cell growth and proliferation, strengthening the intestinal barrier in an intestinal epithelial cell line Caco-2 model. Further, the administration of CFSs of L. salivarius P1, L. gasseri P12, and L. reuteri G7 were found to ameliorate DSS-induced colitis in mice. Additionally, spray-dried powders of CFS from the three strains were examined in a weaned piglet model, only CFS powder of L. reuteri G7 could ameliorate the feed/gain ratio and serum levels of D-lactate and endotoxin. To meet the environmental protection and flame retardancy requirements for epoxy resins (EPs) in certain fields, in this study, a novel triazine-ring-containing DOPO-derived compound (VDPD), derived from vanillin, 2,4-Diamino-6-phenyl-1,3,5-triazine, and 9,10-dihydro-9-oxa-10-phosphaphenanthrene-10-oxide (DOPO), was synthesized using a one-pot method. Flame-retardant epoxy resin (FREP) was prepared by adding various ratios of VDPD to EP and curing with 4,4-diaminodiphenylmethane (DDM). The curing behavior, thermal stability, mechanical properties, and flame-retardant properties of the FREP were examined in various tests. According to the results, when the amount of VDPD added to the EP increased, the glass transition temperature of the FREP decreased linearly, and the flame-retardant properties gradually improved. With a 0.4 wt.% P content, the vertical burning rating of EP/DDM/VDPD-0.4 (according to the theoretical content of VDPD) reached the V-0 level, and the LOI value reached 33.1%. In addition, the results of a CCT showed that the peak heat release rate (PHRR) of EP/DDM/VDPD-0.4 decreased by 32% in comparison with that of the EP. Furthermore, compared with those of the EP, the tensile strength of EP/DDM/VDPD-0.4 decreased from 80.2 MPa to 74.3 MPa, only decreasing by 6 MPa, and the tensile modulus increased. Simple Summary: Osmia excavata Alfken is an excellent pollinator. A variety of factors affect the rate of O. excavata release from its cocoon. However, rapid improvement of the concentrated decocooning of O. excavata has not been sufficiently investigated. In this study, we examined the effect of water immersion on the decocooning rate of O. excavata. Our results showed that water immersion significantly improved O. excavata decocooning. This will provide technical support to improve effective application of O. excavata. Illumina Novaseq™ 6000 transcriptome sequencing showed muscle-related functions play important roles in O. excavata decocooning in response to water immersion. The timing of decocooning and nesting during the flowering period are crucial for the reproduction and pollination activities of Osmia excavata. In order to improve the pollination efficiency of O. excavata, it is crucial to find a way to break the cocoon quickly. Our results showed that the decocooning rates at 6, 12, 24, 36, 48, and 72 h after 30 min of water immersion (WI) were 28.67%, 37.33%, 37.33%, 41.33%, 44.33%, and 53.00%, respectively. The decocooning rate fold of 6 h was 14.33 compared with the control group. Transcriptome sequencing resulted in 273 differentially expressed genes (DEGs) being identified between the WI and control groups. Gene Ontology (GO) and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) analysis showed that muscle-related functions play important roles in O. excavata decocooning in response to WI. Cluster analysis also showed that DEGs in cardiac muscle contraction and adrenergic signaling in cardiomyocytes were up-regulated in response to WI-promoted decocooning. In conclusion, the rate of decocooning can be improved by WI in a short time. During WI-promoted decocooning, muscle-related pathways play an important role. The higher the atmosphere is, the larger the deviations in atmospheric temperature and humidity are between the vertical column atmosphere above the cross-section of a satellite instrument and a ray's trajectory from the cross-section to the satellite. In general, satellite instruments that observe using cross-orbit scanning result in the difference between the observed radiance and the simulations using this method becoming incrementally larger and larger as the cross-section moves to the edge of the satellite's orbit. The deviations depend on the distance from the column to the ray trajectory and on the horizontal gradient of variables in the distance. In fact, the horizontal gradient of water vapour is larger than the gradient of temperature in clear scenarios, which could introduce an impact of temperature and water vapour on the simulated radiance of a satellite. In this study, a new method to simulate upgoing and downgoing radiation synchronously was developed, using the observing path tracking method. The conventional vertical initial atmospheric profile (Exp.1) and the profiles along the upgoing and downgoing rays of the satellite's observation (Exp.2) were established, in order to simulate the observed radiance of MWHS-II of FY-3D using global numerical forecasts with resolutions of 15 km and 25 km. The results showed that, for channels in the oxygen and water vapour absorption line on the microwave spectrum, deviations of the two atmospheric profiles were larger at the scan edge (0.01 K) than those at the nadir (0.001 K), and were larger in the upper atmosphere than in the lower atmosphere. The deviation was usually negative in low-latitude regions and was positive in southern high-latitude regions. Such results were obtained in experiments using both the numerical forecast method with 15 km grids and the forecast method with 25 km grids. Deviations were analysed for representative channels at 118 GHz and 183 GHz. Then, the results indicated that bigger deviations between the two experiments were observed in the water vapour absorption line than in the oxygen absorption line in the microwave spectrum. In conclusion, this indicates that, because of the greater horizontal gradient of water vapour, the stronger localisation of water vapour makes the atmospheric profile along the satellite's observing ray have more increments in the simulated radiance at the scan edge, compared to the atmospheric column profile. Global warming may increase potential evapotranspiration (ETp), reducing the water resources in Yangzi River Delta. Therefore, it is important to investigate the trend of ETp there under the background of climate change. To this purpose, the systematic biases in temperature outputs of 24 global climate models (GCMs) under 3 shared socioeconomic pathways—representative concentration pathways (SSPs) emission scenarios (SSP1-2.6, SSP2-4.5, and SSP5-8.5)—are first corrected by using 8 bias correction methods. Then, the trend of ETp in Yangtze River Delta is projected by using 4 ETp calculation formulas (Blaney–Criddle, Hargreaves–Samani, Makkink, and Priestley–Taylor). The uncertainty of the projections is estimated and decomposed by using multi-way analysis of variance frameworks. The influence of uncertainty on the projected change signal is quantified by using the signal-to-noise ratio. The results show that all emission scenarios indicate robust increments of ETp. Specifically, relative to 1971~2000, ETp will increase by 0.14~0.17 mm d−1 (5.7~6.8%) during 2021~2050 and by 0.21~0.41 mm d−1 (8.5~16.7%) during 2061~2090, respectively. During 2021~2050, the uncertainty of ETp projections is dominantly contributed by the main effects of GCM (63%) and the ETp calculation formula (24%). During 2061~2090, it is mainly contributed by the main effect of GCM (36%), followed by the main effects of the emission scenario (34%) and the ETp calculation formula (18%). Machine- and deep-learning methods are used for industrial applications in prognostics and health management (PHM) for semiconductor processing and equipment anomaly detection to achieve proactive equipment maintenance and prevent process interruptions or equipment downtime. This study proposes a Pruning Quantized Unsupervised Meta-learning DegradingNet Solution (PQUM-DNS) for the fast training and retraining of new equipment or processes with limited data for anomaly detection and the prediction of various equipment and process conditions. This study utilizes real data from a factory chiller host motor, the Paderborn current and vibration open dataset, and the SECOM semiconductor open dataset to conduct experimental simulations, calculate the average value, and obtain the results. Compared to conventional deep autoencoders, PQUM-DNS reduces the average data volume required for rapid training and retraining by about 75% with similar AUC. The average RMSE of the predictive degradation degree is 0.037 for Holt–Winters, and the model size is reduced by about 60% through pruning and quantization which can be realized by edge devices, such as Raspberry Pi. Flowers of Paulownia spp. wither and fall on a large scale after blooming in spring and have potential allelopathic effects on surrounding plants, including crops and weeds. In this study, the phytotoxic effects of water extracts of Paulownia tomentosa flower litter (EPF) on wheat (Triticum aestivum L.), lettuce (Lactuca sativa L.), green bristlegrass (Setaria viridis L.) and purslane (Portulaca oleracea L.) were evaluated in the laboratory. The mode of action of the phytotoxicity of EPF on lettuce seedlings was studied and the secondary metabolites in EPF were analyzed by liquid chromatography high-resolution mass spectrometry (LC-HRMS). The results show that EPF significantly inhibited the seed germination and seedling growth of four target plants in a concentration-dependent manner. In addition, EPF could induce the excessive accumulation of reactive oxygen species (ROS) flowing with oxidative damage of the lipid bilayer of the biofilm, resulting in reduced cell viability and even apoptosis in lettuce. There were 66 secondary metabolites identified by LC-HRMS in P. tomentosa flowers. Among them, 10 compounds, including salicylic acid, caffeic acid, parthenolide, 7-hydroxycoumarin and abscisic acid (ABA), were all known allelochemicals. In summary, P. tomentosa flower litter displayed significant allelopathic effects, which were related to the accumulation of ROS in target plants. Engineered nano-ZnO is extensively utilized in both production and daily life, leading to its inevitable entry into the wastewater treatment system through various pathways. Nitrogen removal microorganisms in wastewater treatment systems are highly susceptible to environmental impacts. The antibacterial properties of nano-ZnO can impede the biological nitrogen removal (BNR) process and adversely affect the nitrogen removal performance. A comprehensive understanding of the inhibitory effect and mechanism of nano-ZnO on the BNR process is crucial in devising appropriate countermeasures to ensure optimal nitrogen removal performance. This review provides an overview of the sources of nano-ZnO in the environment, its impact on the BNR process, and the inhibition mechanism, and proposes potential methods that can mitigate the inhibitory effect of nano-ZnO. Additionally, future prospects are also discussed. This review serves as a foundation for a deeper understanding of the inhibition of engineered nano-ZnO on the BNR process and aids in guiding efforts to maintain the nitrogen removal performance in the presence of engineered nano-ZnO. Reducing carbon emissions is of paramount importance to the accomplishment of the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals. The effect of rural e-commerce on agricultural carbon emissions (ACEs) is controversial, and particularly the mechanism behind the effect is unknown. To identify the impact of rural e-commerce on agricultural carbon emissions and its mechanisms, we take advantage of China's Rural E-Commerce Demonstration County Program (REDCP) as a quasi-natural experiment and use the multi-period difference-in-difference (DID) model to investigate the relationship between rural e-commerce and agricultural carbon emissions. Our data are based on panel data of 355 prefecture-level cities from 2010 to 2019 in China. We identify that rural e-commerce can reduce agricultural carbon emissions by an average of 14.4%, but this effect is not long-lasting. Mechanism analyses suggest that the reduction effect of rural e-commerce on agricultural carbon emissions is mainly due to fostering agricultural economic growth, increasing the share of low-carbon industry, and improving agricultural total factor productivity (TFP). Further heterogeneity analyses demonstrate that rural e-commerce has better carbon emissions reduction performance in eastern cities as well as in non-major grain-producing cities in China. The contents of six heavy metals (HMs: Cr, Cu, As, Pb, Cd, and Zn) in sediments from the upper reaches of Liangtan River (LTR) were determined. The geo-accumulation index (Igeo), pollution load index (PLI), and potential ecological risk index (RI) were employed to assess the HM contamination in the sediments. Pearson's correlation coefficient analysis (PCC), principal component analysis (PCA), and cluster analysis (CA) were used to infer the sources of HMs. The average concentrations of Cr, Cu, As, Pb, Cd, and Zn were 44.63 ± 25.36, 31.40 ± 22.56, 4.66 ± 2.07, 29.20 ± 27.73, 0.25 ± 0.06, and 68.87 ± 104.62 μg/g, respectively. The Igeo indicated that the Cd contamination level was unpolluted to moderately polluted. The mean PLI was 0.97 ± 0.53, suggesting that the sediments were unpolluted, but close to moderately contaminated. The RI values indicated that the potential environmental risk of HMs in the sediments of the LTR was low. The results of PCC, PCA, and CA suggested that the Cr, Cu, As, and Zn in the sediment may mainly originate from natural processes; Pb mainly comes from human industrial and agricultural production activities as well as natural processes; and the main source of Cd may be the production activities of the surrounding chemical enterprises and chemical fertilizer application in farmland. The treatment and surgical repair of torn Achilles tendons seldom return the wounded tendon to its original elasticity and stiffness. This study explored the in vitro and in vivo simultaneous release of indomethacin and bupivacaine from electrospun polylactide–polyglycolide composite membranes for their capacity to repair torn Achilles tendons. These membranes were fabricated by mixing polylactide–polyglycolide/indomethacin, polylactide–polyglycolide/collagen, and polylactide–polyglycolide/bupivacaine with 1,1,1,3,3,3-hexafluoro-2-propanol into sandwich-structured composites. Subsequently, the in vitro pharmaceutic release rates over 30 days were determined, and the in vivo release behavior and effectiveness of the loaded drugs were assessed using an animal surgical model. High concentrations of indomethacin and bupivacaine were released for over four weeks. The released pharmaceutics resulted in complete recovery of rat tendons, and the nanofibrous composite membranes exhibited exceptional mechanical strength. Additionally, the anti-adhesion capacity of the developed membrane was confirmed. Using the electrospinning technique developed in this study, we plan on manufacturing degradable composite membranes for tendon healing, which can deliver sustained pharmaceutical release and provide a collagenous habitat. Preeclampsia (PE) is one of the pregnancy complications, leading to major maternal and fetal morbidity and mortality; however, the underlying mechanisms of PE still remain unclear. We aimed to explore the role of apolipoprotein A1 (APOA1) in the pathophysiology of PE. The expression of APOA1 was elevated in both plasma and placental tissues, as detected by Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, and a qRT-PCR assay. Importantly, we detected the concentration of APOA1 using the ELISA assay in normal control women (n = 30) and women with preeclampsia (n = 29) from a prospective cohort study. The concentration of APOA1 was not significantly altered in plasma during early and mid-term gestation of the PE patients compared to the NP patients; however, it was elevated during late gestation. Additionally, the concentration of APOA1 was positively associated with systolic blood pressure during late gestation. The proliferation and invasion of trophoblast were all increased in HTR8/SVneo cells transfected with APOA1 siRNA and decreased in HTR8/SVneo cells treated with the recombinant human APOA1 protein (rhAPOA1). Additionally, we used public datasets to investigate the downstream genes of APOA1 and qRT-PCR for validation. Furthermore, we explored the transcriptional activity of peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor gamma (PPARγ) in APOA1 by using a luciferase assay, which showed that the APOA1 promoter was activated by PPARγ. Additionally, the inhibitory effect of rhAPOA1 on the ability of trophoblast invasion and proliferation can be rescued by the PPARγ inhibitor. Interleukin (IL)-8 plays a vital role in regulating inflammation and breast cancer formation by activating CXCR1/2. We previously designed an antagonist peptide, (RF16), to inhibits the activation of downstream signaling pathways by competing with IL-8 in binding to CXCR1/2, thereby inhibiting IL-8-induced chemoattractant monocyte binding. To evaluate the effect of the RF16 peptide on breast cancer progression, triple-negative MDA-MB-231 and ER-positive MCF-7 breast cancer cells were used to investigate whether RF16 can inhibit the IL-8-induced breast cancer metastasis. Using growth, proliferation, and invasiveness assays, the results revealed that RF16 reduced cell proliferation, migration, and invasiveness in MDA-MB-231 cells. The RF16 peptide also regulated the protein and mRNA expressions of epithelial–mesenchymal transition (EMT) markers in IL-8-stimulated MDA-MB-231 cells. It also inhibited downstream IL-8 signaling and the IL-8-induced inflammatory response via the mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) and Phosphoinositide 3-kinase (PI3K) pathways. In the xenograft tumor mouse model, RF16 synergistically reinforces the antitumor efficacy of docetaxel by improving mouse survival and retarding tumor growth. Our results indicate that RF16 significantly inhibited IL-8-stimulated cell growth, migration, and invasion in MDA-MB-231 breast cancer cells by blocking the activation of p38 and AKT cascades. Dengue imposes a heavy economic burden on families and society. We used surveillance data reported in 2019 to characterize the dengue epidemic in Zhejiang Province, China, which provided guidance for dengue prevention and control. Dengue epidemics mostly occurred in July to October. People aged 30–44 years, males, and commercial service workers were more likely to suffer from dengue. The epidemic areas were mainly in Hangzhou and Wenzhou. Meanwhile, we assessed the economic cost of dengue in the province from both family and organizational perspectives. Station arrangement optimization of photoelectric theodolites in shooting ranges presents a non-convex and non-linear problem, and the method required to seek the global optimal solution remains an open question. This paper proposes an efficient traversal algorithm that could solve this problem by utilizing discretization of regions with a finite length of mesh, in which both the terrain of the station arrangement region and the observation airspace region are discretized through triangulation. To enhance the computational efficiency of the traversal algorithm, two strategies are employed to speed up the calculation: reducing the dimension of the observation airspace and using the Euclidean distance matrix to compute the intersection angle. After the global optimal solution with discrete finite precision was obtained through the traversal algorithm, it was then used as the initial points for local mesh refinement and to implement gradient-based optimization in order to further improve the precision of the solution. The proposed approach is demonstrated to be practical through application to numerical examples used for the optimization of station arrangements that involve two to four stations. In this work, the thermodynamics and kinetics of hydrate formation in 9.01 wt% tetra butyl ammonium bromide (TBAB) mixed with water-soluble hydroxylated multi-wall carbon nanotube (MWCNTol) systems were characterized by measuring hydrate formation conditions, induction time, and final gas consumption. The results showed that MWCNTols had little effect on the phase equilibrium of CO2 hydrate formation. Nanoparticles (graphene nanoribbons (GNs) and MWCNTols) could significantly shorten the induction time. When the concentration was ≤0.06 wt%, MWCNTols had a better effect on the induction time than the GN system, and the maximum reduction in induction time reached 44.22%. The large surface area of MWCNTols could provide sites for heterogeneous nucleation, thus shortening the induction time of hydrate formation. Furthermore, adding different concentrations of nanoparticles to the 9.01 wt% TBAB solution effectively increased the final gas consumption, and the maximum increase was 10.44% of the 9.01 wt% TBAB + 0.08 wt% GN system. Meanwhile, the suitable initial pressure and experimental temperature could also promote the hydrate formation and increase the motivation in hydrate formation. The 9.01 wt% TBAB + 0.02 wt% MWCNTol system had the best effect at 3.5 MPa and 277.15 K. The induction time was reduced by 66.67% and the final gas consumption was increased by 284.11% compared to those of the same system but at a different initial pressure and experimental temperature. Salient object detection has made substantial progress due to the exploitation of multi-level convolutional features. The key point is how to combine these convolutional features effectively and efficiently. Due to the step by step down-sampling operations in almost all CNNs, multi-level features usually have different scales. Methods based on fully convolutional networks directly apply bilinear up-sampling to low-resolution deep features and then combine them with high-resolution shallow features by addition or concatenation, which neglects the compatibility of features, resulting in misalignment problems. In this paper, to solve the problem, we propose an alignment integration network (ALNet), which aligns adjacent level features progressively to generate powerful combinations. To capture long-range dependencies for high-level integrated features as well as maintain high computational efficiency, a strip attention module (SAM) is introduced into the alignment integration procedures. Benefiting from SAM, multi-level semantics can be selectively propagated to predict precise salient objects. Furthermore, although integrating multi-level convolutional features can alleviate the blur boundary problem to a certain extent, it is still unsatisfactory for the restoration of a real object boundary. Therefore, we design a simple but effective boundary enhancement module (BEM) to guide the network focus on boundaries and other error-prone parts. Based on BEM, an attention weighted loss is proposed to boost the network to generate sharper object boundaries. Experimental results on five benchmark datasets demonstrate that the proposed method can achieve state-of-the-art performance on salient object detection. Gray sufu, a traditional fermented food derived from soybeans, undergoes a complex fermentation process. This study aimed to investigate the dynamics of the microbial community during sufu fermentation and its relationship with key quality characteristics. Through systematic sampling of sufu at different phases of fermentation, 143 bacterial genera and 84 fungal genera involved in the process were identified. Among these, Chishuiella, Enterococcus, Lactococcus, and Weissella emerged as the predominant bacterial communities. After seven days of ripening fermentation, Trichosporon supplanted Diutina as the predominant fungus, accounting for more than 84% of all fungi. Using redundancy analysis, significant correlations between microbiota and physicochemical properties were uncovered. Chishuiella and Empedobacter displayed positive relationships with pH, soluble protein, and amino nitrogen content. In addition, five biogenic amines were detected, and it was determined that tyramine accounted for more than 75% of the total biogenic amines in the final gray sufu products. Spearman correlation analysis revealed significant positive relationships between Lactococcus, Enterococcus, Tetragenococcus, Halanaerobium, and Trichosporon and the five biogenic amines examined. These findings shed light on the complex interactions between microorganisms and biogenic amines during the fermentation of gray sufu, thereby facilitating the development of microbial regulation strategies for better quality control. BnIPT gene family members in Brassica napus and analyzing their expression under different exogenous hormones and abiotic stress treatments to provide a theoretical basis for clarifying their functions and molecular genetic mechanisms in nitrogen deficiency stress tolerance of B. napus. Using the Arabidopsis IPT protein as the seed sequence, combined with the IPT protein domain PF01715, 26 members of the BnIPT gene family were identified from the whole genome of the rape variety ZS11. Additionally, the physicochemical properties and structures, phylogenetic relationships, synteny relationships, protein–protein interaction network, and gene ontology enrichment were analyzed. Based on transcriptome data, the expression patterns of the BnIPT gene under different exogenous hormone and abiotic stress treatments were analyzed. We used the qPCR method to identify the relative expression level of BnIPT genes that may be related to the stress resistance of rapeseed in transcriptome analysis under normal nitrogen (N: 6 mmol·L−1) and nitrogen deficiency (N: 0) conditions and analyzed its effect on rapeseed under nitrogen deficiency stress role in tolerance. In response to nitrogen deficiency signals, the BnIPT gene showed a trend of up-regulation in shoots and down-regulation in roots, indicating that it may affect the process of nitrogen transport and redistribution to enhance the stress resistance of rapeseed to respond to the nitrogen deficiency stress. With the advancement of intelligent medical robot technology, machine touch utilizing flexible sensors has emerged as a prominent research area. In this study, a flexible resistive pressure sensor was designed incorporating a microcrack structure with air pores and a composite conductive mechanism of silver/carbon. The aim was to achieve enhanced stability and sensitivity with the inclusion of macro through-holes (1–3 mm) to expand the sensitive range. This technology solution was specifically applied to the machine touch system of the B-ultrasound robot. Through meticulous experimentation, it was determined that the optimal approach involved uniformly blending ecoflex and nano carbon powder at a mass ratio of 5:1, and subsequently combining the mixture with an ethanol solution of silver nanowires (AgNWs) at a mass ratio of 6:1. This combination of components resulted in the fabrication of a pressure sensor with optimal performance. Under the pressure testing condition of 5 kPa, a comparison of the resistance change rate was conducted among samples using the optimal formulation from the three processes. It was evident that the sample of ecoflex-C-AgNWs/ethanol solution exhibited the highest sensitivity. Its sensitivity was increased by 19.5% compared to the sample (ecoflex-C) and by 11.3% compared to the sample (ecoflex-C-ethanol). The sample (ecoflex-C-AgNWs/ethanol solution), which only incorporated internal air pore microcracks without through-holes, exhibited sensitive response to pressures below 5 N. In this article, we theoretically designed and simulated a silicon core fiber for the simultaneous detection of temperature and refractive index. We first discussed the parameters of the silicon core fiber for near single-mode operation. Second, we designed and simulated a silicon core-based fiber Bragg grating and applied it for simultaneous sensing of temperature and environmental refractive index. The sensitivities for the temperature and refractive index were 80.5 pm/°C and 208.76 dB/RIU, respectively, within a temperature range of 0 to 50 °C and a refractive index range of 1.0 to 1.4. In this paper, an imine-based porous 3D covalent organic polymer (COP) was synthesized via solvothermal condensation. The structure of the 3D COP was fully characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, and powder X-ray diffractometry, thermogravimetric analysis, and Brunauer–Emmer–Teller (BET) nitrogen adsorption. This porous 3D COP was used as a new sorbent for the solid-phase extraction (SPE) of amphenicol drugs, including chloramphenicol (CAP), thiamphenicol (TAP), and florfenicol (FF) in aqueous solution. Factors were investigated for their effects on the SPE efficiency, including the types and volume of eluent, washing speed, pH, and salinity of water. Under the optimized conditions, this method gave a wide linear range (0.1–200 ng/mL) with a high correlation coefficient value (R2 > 0.99), low limits of detection (LODs, 0.01–0.03 ng/mL), and low limits of quantification (LOQs, 0.04–0.10 ng/mL). The recoveries ranged from 83.98% to 110.7% with RSDs ≤ 7.02%. The good enrichment performance for this porous 3D COP might contribute to the hydrophobic and π–π interactions, the size-matching effect, hydrogen bonding, and the good chemical stability of 3D COP. Particle size distribution is an important characteristic of reclaimed soil in arid and semi-arid mining areas in western China, which is important in the ecological environment protection and control of the Yellow River Basin. Large-scale coal resource mining disturbances have caused serious damage to the fragile ecological environment. The timely and accurate dynamic monitoring of mining area topsoil information has practical significance for ecological restoration and management evaluation. Investigating Wuhai City in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region of China, this study uses Landsat8 OLI multispectral images and measured soil sample particle size data to analyze soil spectral characteristics and establish a particle size content prediction model to retrieve the particle size distribution in the study area. The experimental results and analysis demonstrate that: (1) the 6SV (Second Simulation of the Satellite Signal in the Solar Spectrum Vector version) atmospheric correction model is more accurate than the FLAASH (Fast Line-of-sight Atmospheric Analysis of Hypercubes) model in arid and semi-arid areas with undulating terrain; (2) 0–40 cm is the optimum soil thickness for modeling and predicting particle size content in this study; and (3) the multi-band prediction model is more precise than the single-band prediction model. The multi-band model's sequence of advantages and disadvantages is SVM (Support Vector Machine) > MLR (Multiple Linear Regression) > PLSR (Partial Least Squares Regression). Among them, the 6SV-SVM model has the highest precision, and the prediction precision R2 of the 3 particle sizes' contents is above 0.95, which can effectively predict the soil particle-size distribution and provide effective data to support topsoil quality change monitoring in the mine land reclamation area. The thermoresponsive drug-loaded hydrogels have attracted widespread interest in the field of medical applications due to their ease of delivery to structurally complex tissue defects. However, drug-resistant infections remain a challenge, which has prompted the development of new non-antibiotic hydrogels. To this end, we prepared chitosan-methacrylate (CTSMA)/gelatin (GEL) thermoresponsive hydrogels and added natural phenolic compounds, including tannic acid, gallic acid, and pyrogallol, to improve the efficacy of hydrogels. This hybrid hydrogel imparted initial crosslinking at physiological temperature, followed by photocuring to further provide a mechanically robust structure. Rheological analysis, tensile strength, antibacterial activity against E. coli, S. aureus, P. gingivalis, and S. mutans, and L929 cytotoxicity were evaluated. The experimental results showed that the hybrid hydrogel with CTSMA/GEL ratio of 5/1 and tannic acid additive had a promising gelation temperature of about 37 °C. The presence of phenolic compounds not only significantly (p < 0.05) enhanced cell viability, but also increased the tensile strength of CTSMA/GEL hybrid hydrogels. Moreover, the hydrogel containing tannic acid revealed potent antibacterial efficacy against four microorganisms. This study aimed to develop a drug delivery system with hybrid biodegradable antifungal and antibacterial agents incorporated into poly lactic-co-glycolic acid (PLGA) nanofibers, facilitating an extended release of fluconazole, vancomycin, and ceftazidime to treat polymicrobial osteomyelitis. The nanofibers were assessed using scanning electron microscopy, tensile testing, water contact angle analysis, differential scanning calorimetry, and Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy. The in vitro release of the antimicrobial agents was assessed using an elution method and a high-performance liquid chromatography assay. The in vivo elution pattern of nanofibrous mats was assessed using a rat femoral model. The experimental results demonstrated that the antimicrobial agent-loaded nanofibers released high levels of fluconazole, vancomycin, and ceftazidime for 30 and 56 days in vitro and in vivo, respectively. Histological assays revealed no notable tissue inflammation. Therefore, hybrid biodegradable PLGA nanofibers with a sustainable release of antifungal and antibacterial agents may be employed for the treatment of polymicrobial osteomyelitis. Background: Surgery in elder patients with intermural fibroids delays pregnancy, and GnRH-a can shrink uterine fibroids to a certain extent; therefore, for geriatric patients with fibroids, determining whether GnRH-a pretreatment before frozen–thawed embryo transfer (FET) can improve its success rate remains to be studied. We conducted this study to research whether GnRH-a pretreatment before hormone replacement treatment (HRT) could optimize the reproductive outcomes compared with others preparations in geriatric patients with intramural fibroids. Methods: According to the endometrial preparation, patients were divided into a GnRH-a–HRT group, a HRT group and a natural cycle (NC) group. The live birth rate (LBR) was the first outcome, and the clinical pregnancy outcome (CPR), the miscarriage rate, the first trimester abortion rate and the ectopic pregnancy rate were the secondary outcomes. Results: A total of 769 patients (aged 35 years or older) were included in this study. No significant difference was observed in the live birth rate (25.3% vs. 17.4% vs. 23.5%, p = 0.200) and the clinical pregnancy rate (46.3% vs. 46.1% vs. 55.4%, p = 0.052) among the three endometrial preparation regimens. Conclusion: In this study, for the geriatric patient with the intramural myoma, the pretreatment with GnRH-a did not show any advantage over the NC and HRT preparation groups before the FET, and the LBR was not significantly increased. To improve the efficient use of nitrogen and decrease the environmental pollution of N losses, a novel and biodegradable composite hydrogel was prepared by chemical cross-linking synthesis using gelatin (Gel), chitosan (CS) and polylactic acid (PLA) as raw materials. Urea as the nitrogen source was loaded into this new biodegradable hydrogel using the solution immersion method. The chemical structures of the composite hydrogels were characterized and their properties were analyzed by XRD and XPS. The regulation of urea loading and the swelling behavior of the composite hydrogel under different temperature conditions were investigated; the release behavior and release model of the composite hydrogel in the aqueous phase was explored. The results show that the loading of urea is controllable in aqueous urea solution with different concentrations. In the water phase, it shows a three-stage sustained release behavior, that is, the initial release rate of urea is relatively fast, and the medium release rate of urea gradually slows down, and finally the nutrient release rate tends to be flat. The release behavior in the water phase fits to the Ritger–Peppas model. Within 10 min, 180 min and 900 min, the cumulative nutrient release rate of gelatin/chitosan/PLA-urea (GCPU) composite hydrogel is 20%, 70% and 86%, respectively. Compared with pure urea, The urea diffusion time of GCPU was extended by 1350-times. In addition, the GCPU also has good water absorption and water retention properties, in which average water content can reach as high as 4448%. All of the results in this work showed that GCPU hydrogel had good water absorption and retention and N slow-release properties, which are expected to be widely used in sustainable agriculture and forestry, especially in arid and degraded land. This study proposes a novel bidirectional-switched-capacitor-based interleaved converter. In view of the shortcomings of the two well-known unidirectional-switched-capacitor-based interleaved converters, this study improves such converters through combining the novel structure of a switched capacitor circuit. The first effort was to overcome the drawback of the Cockcroft–Walton-based interleaved converter, whose circuit impedance and ripple cause a serious output voltage drop. The second was to solve the Dickson-based interleaved converter with its capacitors subjected to high-voltage stress. The third was to relax the unidirectional boost function of the Cockcroft–Walton- or Dickson-based interleaved converter. This study avoided not only high-circuit impedance and ripple, as in the case of the Cockcroft–Walton converter, but also it had lower component stress than the Dickson converter. In addition, this study redesigned the unidirectional boost function of the Cockcroft–Walton- or Dickson-based interleaved converter, such that the switch-capacitor-based interleaved converters became bidirectional DC-DC converters. The ocean behaves as a typical multiscale fractal structure, whose dynamic and thermal variabilities extend over a wide range of spatial scales, r, spanning from 10−3 to 107 m. Studying the statistical characteristics of multiscale fractal structures is crucial to understanding the interactions and energy cascade processes between different spatial scales. Remote sensing data are one of the best choices for revealing these statistical characteristics. This work analyzes the multiscale (1–1000 km) fractal structures of sea surface temperature (SST) from the Level-2+ (L2P) satellite orbit Visible Infrared Imaging Radiometer Suite (VIIRS) products over the Kuroshio Extension (KE) region (145°E–160°W, 20°N–50°N), using a conventional method (second-order structure function, D(r)) and a newly developed statistical method (spatial variance, V(r)). The results show that both the power-law distribution slopes of D(r) and V(r) are close to 2/3, which is equivalent to the −5/3 wavenumber spectrum. V(r) is found to be more robust when depicting the fractal structure and variance density, V'(r), compared with D(r). V'(r) is slightly larger at the mesoscale (50–150 km) than at the large scale (higher than 150 km) and is much smaller than that at the submesoscale (smaller than 50 km). Additionally, V'(r) has an indiscernible diurnal variation but remarkable seasonal and latitudinal variations. For the seasonal variability, the maximum V'(r) appears in winter at the large scale and mesoscale, and gradually shifts towards spring at the submesoscale, which implies that a forward energy cascade process may occur during this period. The maximum of the latitude-dependent V'(r) appears around 40°N for all the scales. It is consistent with the latitude of the strongest background SST gradient, indicating that the background SST front is the main source of the strong SST multiscale spatial variabilities over the KE region. This work benefits the application of other high-resolution remote sensing data in this research field, including the forthcoming Surface Water Ocean Topography (SWOT) satellite product. Precious metal-based materials such as commercial Pt/C are available electrocatalysts for redox reactions in Zn-air batteries. However, their commercial use is still limited by slow kinetics and restricted stability. In this work, we highlight a facial urea-assisted sol-gel method to synthesize A-site vacancy in LaMnO3+δ oxide for boosting its catalytic activity and further explore the effect of the amount of urea on the A-site LaMnO3. The A-site vacancy in LMO was confirmed by XRD, TEM, and XPS, which revealed that the urea-assisted sol-gel method mitigated the A-site vacancy in LaMnO3+δ and increased its surface area, thus ultimately accelerating its redox reaction kinetics. The half-wave potential and current density of the resultant 3.0U-LMO electrocatalyst were 0.74 V and 5.74 mA cm−2, respectively. It is worth noting that the assembled Zn-air battery with the 3.0U-LMO catalyst presented a power output of 130.04 mW cm−2 at 0.51 V and a promising energy efficiency of 58.4% after 150 cycles. Temperature control is needed in the construction process of massive concrete and it can avoid the concrete cracks. Prediction of temperature development based on a hydration kinetics model can reduce the need for adiabatic temperature rise tests for concrete. However, the existing hydration kinetics model cannot accurately describe the hydration process of cement, thereby limiting the ability to further accurately predict the temperature rise of concrete based on the hydration kinetics model. This paper aims to establish a new hydration kinetics model, which is based on nucleation and growth model, and to predict the temperature development of concrete with set-controlling admixture based on this model. In this paper, the nucleation and growth of hydration products and the diffusion of free water by the modified boundary of nucleation and growth (BNG) model and the modified Fuji and Kondo's model are described. The relationship between nucleation rate and apparent activation energy and the relationship between effective diffusion coefficient and apparent activation energy are linear. However, the relationship between growth rate and apparent activation is exponential. Finally, the temperature development of concrete can be calculated by the hydration degree of the cement. Craniomaxillofacial bone defects are characterized by an irregular shape, bacterial and inflammatory environment, aesthetic requirements, and the need for the functional recovery of oral–maxillofacial areas. Conventional clinical treatments are currently unable to achieve high-quality craniomaxillofacial bone regeneration. Hydrogels are a class of multifunctional platforms made of polymers cross-linked with high water content, good biocompatibility, and adjustable physicochemical properties for the intelligent delivery of goods. These characteristics make hydrogel systems a bright prospect for clinical applications in craniomaxillofacial bone. In this review, we briefly demonstrate the properties of hydrogel systems that can come into effect in the field of bone regeneration. In addition, we summarize the hydrogel systems that have been developed for craniomaxillofacial bone regeneration in recent years. Exploration on mechanism of melanoma and improved diagnostic and therapeutic strategies are becoming increasingly important. Unlike extracellular messengers that mainly work on targeted cells through corresponding receptors, exosomes are essential intercellular messengers that deliver biologically active substances such as nucleic acids and proteins to target cells for cell–cell communication. Of them, microRNAs (miRNAs) are common and important exosomal components that can regulate the expression of a wide range of target genes. Accordingly, exosome-derived miRNAs play a significant role in melanoma progression, including invasion and metastasis, microenvironment establishment, angiogenesis, and immune escape. MiRNA signatures of exosomes are specific in melanoma patients compared to healthy controls, thus circulating miRNAs, especially exosomal miRNAs, become potential diagnostic markers and therapeutic targets for melanoma. We introduce a novel patterning technique based on e-beam lithography using vertically aligned carbon nanotube (VACNT) emitters with self-assembled monolayers (SAMs). A 20 μm line width of silicon wafer patterning was successfully demonstrated using octadecyl trichlorosilane (OTS) as a photoresist. To investigate surface modification by the irradiated electrons from the emitters, both contact angle measurement and energy dispersive X-ray (EDX) analysis were conducted. The patterning mechanism of the electron beam irradiated on OTS-coated substrate by our cold cathode electron beam (C-beam) was demonstrated by the analyzed results. The effect of current density and exposure time on the OTS patterning was studied and optimized for the Si wafer patterning in terms of the electronic properties of the VACNTs. Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is one of the leading causes of cancer-related mortality worldwide. The AKT pathway is often activated in HCC cases, and a longer exposure to tyrosine kinase inhibitors such as sorafenib may lead to over-activation of the AKT pathway, leading to HCC resistance. Here, we studied the efficacy of a new generation of allosteric AKT inhibitor, vevorisertib, alone or in combination with sorafenib. To identify specific adverse effects related to the background of cirrhosis, we used a diethylnitrosamine (DEN)-induced cirrhotic rat model. Vevorisertib was tested in vitro on Hep3B, HepG2, HuH7 and PLC/PRF cell lines. Rats were treated weekly with intra-peritoneal injections of DEN for 14 weeks to obtain cirrhosis with fully developed HCC. After that, rats were randomized into four groups (n = 7/group): control, sorafenib, vevorisertib and the combination of vevorisertib + sorafenib, and treated for 6 weeks. Tumor progression was followed by MRI. We demonstrated that the vevorisertib is a highly potent treatment, blocking the phosphorylation of AKT. The tumor progression in the rat liver was significantly reduced by treatment with vevorisertib + sorafenib (49.4%) compared to the control group (158.8%, p < 0.0001). Tumor size, tumor number and tumor cell proliferation were significantly reduced in both the vevorisertib group and vevorisertib + sorafenib groups compared to the control group. Sirius red staining showed an improvement in liver fibrosis by vevorisertib and the combination treatment. Moreover, vevorisertib + sorafenib treatment was associated with a normalization in the liver vasculature. Altogether, vevorisertib as a single agent and its combination with sorafenib exerted a strong suppression of tumor progression and improved liver fibrosis. Single crystals of Tb3+ single-doped and Tb3+/Pr3+ co-doped CaYAlO4 were produced by the Czochralski method. The room-temperature polarized absorption spectra, emission spectra, and decay curves were recorded and analyzed in detail. The absorption cross-section around 487 nm was found to be 1.53 × 10−22 cm2 for the π polarization in the Tb3+:CaYAlO4 crystal and increased to 5.23 × 10−22 cm2 in the Tb3+/Pr3+:CaYAlO4 crystal. The spectroscopic parameters were calculated through the Judd–Ofelt theory. For the Tb3+:CaYAlO4 crystal, the emission bands of green light at 546 nm and yellow light at 587 nm had fluorescence branching ratios of 64.7% and 6.65% with cross-sections of 8.82 × 10−22 cm2 (σ-polarization) and 0.44 × 10−22 cm2 (π-polarization), respectively. The decay lifetimes of 5D4 multiplets were measured to be 1.41 ms and 1.1 ms for Tb3+:CaYAlO4 and Tb3+/Pr3+:CaYAlO4 crystals, respectively. The energy transfer mechanisms of Tb3+ and Pr3+ and their emission spectral intensities at different temperatures were analyzed. As the temperature increased, the luminescence intensity of the Tb3+:CaYAlO4 and Tb3+/Pr3+:CaYAlO4 crystals decreased almost linearly with the CIE coordinate variation, from (0.370, 0.621) to (0.343, 0.636) and from (0.345, 0.638) to (0.246, 0.698), respectively. In this paper, the experimental modes of a large-scale photoelectric theodolite tracking frame are presented. On the basis of the experimental data and the gradient-less optimization approach, the modeling strategy and the parameterized equivalent dynamic finite element model are presented. Shafting, three-point leveling units, and other components are reasonably simplified during the modeling process. Influence factors such as contact stiffness are introduced as dynamic parameters in the model. The optimized parametric model obtained demonstrates that the linearization modeling strategy represents the dynamic response characteristics of this type of structure accurately. The maximum relative error of the first four-order natural frequencies between numerical simulation and experimental data is 4.45% when the consistency of mode shapes is taken into account. Concentric circular antenna arrays (CCAAs) can obtain better performance than other antenna arrays. However, high overhead and excessive sidelobes still make its application difficult. In this paper, we consider the sparse synthesis optimization of CCAAs. Specifically, we aim to turn off a specific number of antennas while reducing the sidelobe of CCAAs. First, we formulate an optimization problem and present the solution space. Then, we propose a novel evolutionary method for solving the optimization problem. Our proposed method introduces hybrid solution initialization, hybrid crossover method, and hybrid update methods. Route planning for autonomous driving is a global road planning method based on a given starting point and target point combined with current traffic flow information. The optimal global route can reduce traffic jams and improve the safety and economy of autonomous vehicles. The current optimization method of route planning for autonomous driving only considers a single objective or a chain of single objectives, which cannot meet the requirements of drivers. In this paper, we devise a general framework for the route planning method based on multi-objective optimization. Different from planning optimization based on not only traffic information, the framework considers travel time, distance, cost and personal preference, but focuses more on vehicle status and driver requirements. We use an improved depth-first search algorithm to find the optimal route. The evaluations of our method on real-world traffic data indicate the feasibility and applicability of the framework. Our study contributes to a better understanding of route planning and reveals that exploitation of personal preference can more flexibly configure the corresponding route according to the driver's requirements. An automatic colorization algorithm can convert a grayscale image to a colorful image using regression loss functions or classification loss functions. However, the regression loss function leads to brown results, while the classification loss function leads to the problem of color overflow and the computation of the color categories and balance weights of the ground truth required for the weighted classification loss is too large. In this paper, we propose a new method to compute color categories and balance the weights of color images. In this paper, we propose a new method to compute color categories and balance weights of color images. Furthermore, we propose a U-Net-based colorization network. First, we propose a category conversion module and a category balance module to obtain the color categories and to balance weights, which dramatically reduces the training time. Second, we construct a classification subnetwork to constrain the colorization network with category loss, which improves the colorization accuracy and saturation. Finally, we introduce an asymmetric feature fusion (AFF) module to fuse the multiscale features, which effectively prevents color overflow and improves the colorization effect. The experiments show that our colorization network has peak signal-to-noise ratio (PSNR) and structure similarity index measure (SSIM) metrics of 25.8803 and 0.9368, respectively, for the ImageNet dataset. Gout is a common metabolic disease caused by abnormal purine metabolism that promotes the formation and deposition of monosodium urate crystals within joints that causes acute arthritis and can seriously affect the daily life of patients. Pistacia chinensis is one of the traditional medicinal plants of the Anacardiaceae family, and there have been many studies on its biological activity, including anti-inflammatory, antidepressant, antibacterial, antioxidant, and hypoglycemic activities. The aim of this study was to evaluate the antigout effect of P. chinensis leaf essential oil and its constituents through xanthine oxidase inhibition. Leaf essential oil showed good xanthine oxidase inhibitory activity for both substrates, hypoxanthine and xanthine. Six fractions were obtained from open column chromatography, and fraction E1 exhibited the best activity. The constituents of leaf essential oil and fraction E1 were analyzed by GC-MS. The main constituents of both leaf essential oil and fraction E1 were limonene and 3-carene; limonene showed a higher inhibitory effect on xanthine oxidase. Based on the enzyme kinetic investigation, limonene was the mixed-type inhibitor against xanthine oxidase. The synergistic effect of electrostatically enhanced fibrous filtration originates from the charging characteristics of aerosol particles and electret fibers in an electric field. Two electrostatically enhanced fibrous filter systems are designed in this study to investigate the mechanism of the effects of the charging characteristics of oily aerosol on the filtration efficiency. We investigate the charging characteristics and their effects on the filtration efficiency of dioctyl-phthalate (DOP) aerosol particles of various sizes by setting different filter systems and electric field intensities. The experimental results show that the charge of DOP particles increases with the strength of the electric field, and the average charge increases with the particle size. The maximum charge of DOP particles reaches 4760 eC/P, and the filtration efficiency of the coupled system improves when DOP particles are amply charged. For 0.25 μm DOP particles as the most penetrating particle size, the system had good long-term stability, and the filtration efficiency is approximately 72% higher than that of the fiber acting alone. Meanwhile, the problem of oily aerosol deposition reducing the electret filtration efficiency is solved, providing a basis for long-term filtration and oily aerosol purification by electret fiber. The suspension system is a significant part of a vehicle because it transmits the torque and force between the wheels and the frame, meeting the requirements of ride comfort. In this paper, a novel interconnected air suspension was introduced and a cooperative control between interconnected mode activation (IMA) and outsourced mode activation (OMA) was designed. To improve ride comfort in a bus at a minimal energy consumption, this cooperative control based on model predictive control (MPC) for computing the best force and the rule was defined to distribute the best suspension force generated by IMA and OMA. The simulation and experimental results showed that the proposed control strategy significantly improved ride comfort in different conditions. Compared with traditional control in the test vehicle, the RMS of the front-left sprung mass and unsprung vertical acceleration decreased by 24.2% and 14.5%, respectively, under a straight condition; the RMS of the sprung (unsprung) mass vertical acceleration reduced by 22.38% and 15.43%, respectively, under a bump condition. A simple, low-cost, single-longitudinal mode, C-band narrow-linewidth optical fiber laser is presented based on the methodology of the Rayleigh backscattering (RBS). In this paper, a 1551 nm fiber ring laser is developed, and single-mode fiber (SMF) is added to compress the line width. When the SMF length of the RBS cavity is 120 m, the laser has better performance than that in other SMF lengths with a laser line width of 1.46 KHz with housing shield. The optical signal-to-noise ratio (OSNR) is 59.86 dB, and its maximum output power is 9.4 mW. It can quickly achieve the single longitude-mode operation by controlling the variable optical attenuator (VOA).
