The combination of topology and CO2 switchability could provide new options for amphiphilic copolymers. Cyclic molecules supply novel topologies, and CO2 switching provides stimulus responsiveness. Cyclic poly(2–(diethylamino)ethyl methacrylate)–b–poly(ethylene oxide) and their corresponding block copolymers were prepared from poly(ethylene oxide) and 2–(diethylamino)ethyl methacrylate via atom transfer radical polymerization and Keck allylation with a Hoveyda–Grubbs catalyst. Changes in conductivity, surface activity, and hydrodynamic size were examined to illustrate the switchability of the produced amphiphilic copolymers upon contact with CO2 in the presence of water. This paper proposes a non-singular fast terminal sliding mode control strategy based on the self-organizing radial basis function neural network (RBFNN) approximation for the train key network system to realize the safe and reliable operation of the train. In order to improve the RBFNN approximation performance and speed, an improved multi-strategy particle swarm optimization (IMPSO) algorithm, which utilizes multi-strategy evolution ways with a nonlinear deceasing inertia weight to improve the global optimizing performance of particle swarm, is proposed to optimize the structure and parameters for better mapping the highly nonlinear characteristics of train traction braking. In addition, the IMPSO is also introduced into a non-singular fast terminal sliding mode (NFTSM) controller to obtain the most appropriate tuning parameters of the controller and suppresses the chattering phenomenon from sliding mode controller. The stability characteristic of the system under the proposed NFTSM controller is studied based on the Lyapunov theory. Further combined with effective delay prediction and delay compensation methods, the NFTSM high-precision control of the train key nonlinear network system is implemented. The simulation results show that the proposed method has more efficient and robust tracking performance and real-time performance compared with other control methods, which can provide effective means for realizing the symmetrical bus control by automatic train operation (ATO) at both ends of the train, with the safe operation of the train under every complex motion condition. Leaf senescence represents the last stage of leaf development and is highly regulated by plant hormones and environmental factors. Leaf senescence limits growth and yields in crops, leading to a significant portion of agricultural loss. It is thus crucial to develop strategies to delay this physiological process. Melatonin, an extensively studied molecule, has been demonstrated to play a role in the regulation of leaf senescence in plants. Here, we report the role of exogenous melatonin in the alleviation of methyl jasmonate (MeJA)-induced senescence in tomato (Solanum lycopersicum) leaves. The application of melatonin led to slower degradation of chlorophyll, reduced electrolyte leakage, decreased malondialdehyde (MDA) content, and reduced reactive oxygen species (ROS) levels in tomato leaves incubated with MeJA. In addition, melatonin repressed the upregulation of senescence-related genes (SAG and SEN) and chlorophyll degradation genes (SGR1 and PAO) in tomato leaves exposed to MeJA. Furthermore, melatonin stimulated the activity of a Calvin-Benson Cycle enzyme sedoheptulose-1,7-bisphosphatase (SBPase) and alleviated the inhibition of SlSBPASE (tomato SBPase gene) expression and in MeJA-treated tomato leaves, suggesting an action of melatonin on the capacity for carbon fixation during senescence. Collectively, these results support a role for melatonin in the alleviation of MeJA-induced senescence in tomato leaves. This paper presents a theoretical investigation on the safety evaluation, stability evaluation, and service life prediction of concrete-filled steel tube (CFST) structures in a Northern China area with acid rain. The finite element software ABAQUS was used to establish a numerical model, which was used to simulate the axial compression behavior of CFST columns subjected to the combined actions of freeze–thaw cycles and acid rain corrosion. The model performance was validated using the experimental results of the evaluation of mechanical properties, including the failure mode and load–displacement curve. Then, the effects of the section size, material strength, steel ratio, and combined times on the residual capacity were studied. The results show that the section size has a smaller influence on the residual strength than the other parameters and can be neglected in the design procedure. However, the other parameters, including the material strength, steel ratio, and combined times have relatively large influences on the axial compressive performance of CFST stub columns subjected to a combination of freeze–thaw cycles and acid rain corrosion. Finally, design formulae for predicting the residual strength of CFST stub columns that are under axial compression and the combined effect of freeze–thaw cycles and acid rain corrosion are proposed, and their results agree well with the numerical results. Understanding human movement patterns is of fundamental importance in transportation planning and management. We propose to examine complex public transit travel patterns over a large-scale transit network, which is challenging since it involves thousands of transit passengers and massive data from heterogeneous sources. Additionally, efficient representation and visualization of discovered travel patterns is difficult given a large number of transit trips. To address these challenges, this study leverages advanced machine learning methods to identify time-varying mobility patterns based on smart card data and other urban data. The proposed approach delivers a comprehensive solution to pre-process, analyze, and visualize complex public transit travel patterns. This approach first fuses smart card data with other urban data to reconstruct original transit trips. We use two machine learning methods, including a clustering algorithm to extract transit corridors to represent primary mobility connections between different regions and a graph-embedding algorithm to discover hierarchical mobility community structures. We also devise compact and effective multi-scale visualization forms to represent the discovered travel behavior dynamics. An interactive web-based mapping prototype is developed to integrate advanced machine learning methods with specific visualizations to characterize transit travel behavior patterns and to enable visual exploration of transit mobility patterns at different scales and resolutions over space and time. The proposed approach is evaluated using multi-source big transit data (e.g., smart card data, transit network data, and bus trajectory data) collected in Shenzhen City, China. Evaluation of our prototype demonstrates that the proposed visual analytics approach offers a scalable and effective solution for discovering meaningful travel patterns across large metropolitan areas. The supergiant Shuangjianzishan (SJS) Ag–Pb–Zn deposit, located in the southern Great Xing'an Range (SGXR), is the largest Ag deposit in China. The SJS deposit can be divided into two ore blocks: the Shuangjianzishan ore block and the Xinglongshan ore block. Given the importance of the Xinglongshan ore block in the SJS deposit, our work is focused on the Xinglongshan ore block. The vein orebodies in the Xionglongshan ore block mainly occur in the NW-, NNW-, and NNE-trending fault zones, and its mineralization is mainly related to a deep concealed syenogranite. Here, we present new geochronology, isotope geochemistry, and fluid inclusion data for the Xinglongshan ore block and provide additional insights into the metallogenic mechanism of the deposit. The dating results show that the syenogranite related to the mineralization formed at approximately 137 Ma, which is coherent with some previous age determinations in sulfides from the ore deposit. The mineralization of the Xinglongshan ore block can be divided into four stages: sphalerite–arsenopyrite–pyrite–chalcopyrite–quartz stage (stage I), sphalerite–galena–pyrite–silver-bearing mineral–quartz stage (stage II), sphalerite–galena–silver-bearing mineral–quartz–calcite stage (stage III), and weakly mineralized quartz–calcite stage (stage IV). Four types of fluid inclusions (FIs) have been identified within quartz and calcite veins: liquid-rich, gas-rich, pure-liquid, and pure-gas FIs. The homogenization temperatures in the four stages exhibit a gradual decrease, with stage I ranging from 253 to 302 °C, stage II from 203 to 268 °C, stage III from 184 to 222 °C, and stage IV from 153 to 198 °C, respectively. The salinity for stages I, II, III, and IV falls within the ranges of 3.4–6.6 wt% NaCl eqv., 2.6–7.2 wt% NaCl eqv., 2.9–7.0 wt% NaCl eqv., and 1.2–4.8 wt% NaCl eqv., respectively, indicative of a low-salinity ore-forming fluid. The δ18Owater and δD values of the ore-forming fluid span from −13.9‰ to 7.4‰ and −145‰ to −65‰, with δ13CV-PDB values between −11.0‰ and −7.9‰. These values suggest that the ore-forming fluid predominantly originated from a mixture of magmatic and meteoric water. The 206Pb/204Pb, 207Pb/204Pb, and 208Pb/204Pb ratios of sulfides range from 18.278 to 18.361, 15.530 to 15.634, and 38.107 to 38.448, respectively. These ratios imply that the ore-forming material was primarily derived from the Early Cretaceous granitic magma, which resulted from the mixing of depleted mantle- and crustal-derived magmas. The fluid mixing was the dominant mechanism for mineral precipitation. The Xinglongshan ore block belongs to a magmatic-hydrothermal vein-type deposit related to the Early Cretaceous syenogranite, and the Shuangjianzishan ore block belongs to an intermediate sulfidation epithermal deposit related to coeval subvolcanic rocks. The aim of this study was to conduct a screening of potential therapeutic compounds found in the Atractylodes macrocephala rhizoma essential oil (AO) and explore its mechanism of action in the treatment of ulcerative colitis (UC). An inflammation cell model was employed in conjunction with phospho-antibody array technology to explore potential therapeutic compounds of AO and their anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects. Furthermore, we assessed their efficacy and mechanisms of action in treating dextran sulfate sodium (DSS)-induced colitis in mice. Via the screening process, we identified atractylone (ATR) as the primary active compound in AO. It has been demonstrated that ATR can both decrease the levels of tumor necrosis factor (TNF)-α and reactive oxygen species (ROS) and increase the expression of adhesion proteins such as claudin, ZO-1, and occludin in vitro. Moreover, ATR has been shown to improve UC symptoms in vivo. Via a non-targeted metabolomics analysis of colon tissue, we identified 57 distinct metabolites that responded to ATR treatment. Subsequent analysis of the metabolic pathways revealed that the action of ATR was primarily focused on the amino acid metabolism pathway. In summary, ATR may alleviate the symptoms of UC by regulating multiple signaling pathways. For the purpose of exploring new hard materials and doping methods, the structural, mechanical and electronic properties of WCoB and W2CoB2 ternary boride were investigated with 0, 8.33, 16.67, 25 and 33.33 at.% V doping content and W2CoB2 with 0, 5, 10, 15 and 20 at.% V doping content by first-principle calculations. The cohesive energy, impurity formation energy and formation energy indicate the structural stability of V doped WCoB and W2CoB2. The elastic constants and mechanical properties imply that V doping leads to the decrement of shear modulus and the increment of ductility. Two different kinds of hardness models verify that V doping contributes to the decrement of hardness, which is closely related to shear modulus. The electronic structure is analyzed by DOS (density of states), PDOS (partial density of states) and charge density difference, which indicate the formation of weaker B–V covalent bonds, W–V and W–W metallic bonds lead to the decrement of mechanical properties. Compared with previous studies of Cr, Mn doped WCoB and W2CoB2, V doping leads to worse mechanical properties and hardness, indicating V may not be a suitable choice of doping transition elements. Liquid air energy storage (LAES) is a promising energy storage technology in consuming renewable energy and electricity grid management. In the baseline LAES (B-LAES), the compression heat is only utilized in heating the inlet air of turbines, and a large amount of compression heat is surplus, leading to a low round-trip efficiency (RTE). In this paper, an integrated energy system based on LAES and the Kalina cycle (KC), called KC-LAES, is proposed and analyzed. In the proposed system, the surplus compression heat is utilized to drive a KC system to generate additional electricity in the discharging process. An energetic model is developed to evaluate the performance of the KC and the KC-LAES. In the analysis of the KC subsystem, the calculation results show that the evaporating temperature has less influence on the performance of the KC-LAES system than the B-LAES system, and the optimal working fluid concentration and operating pressure are 85% and 12 MPa, respectively. For the KC-LAES, the calculation results indicate that the introduction of the KC notably improves the compression heat utilization ratio of the LAES, thereby improving the RTE. With a liquefaction pressure value of eight MPa and an expansion pressure value of four MPa, the RTE of the KC-LAES is 57.18%, while that of the B-LAES is 52.16%. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The use of natural antimicrobial compounds in crop production has gained much attention from consumers and the agricultural industry. Consequently, interest in more natural, non-synthetic antimicrobials as potential alternatives to conventional chemical pesticides to combat phytopathogens has heightened. Tea polyphenol (TP), a unique and highly important functional component of tea plants, has been reported to possess antimicrobial properties against a wide spectrum of plant pathogens. The aim of this review is to discuss the emerging findings on the mechanisms of antimicrobial action, and the antimicrobial properties of TP, including their major components, effectiveness, and synergistic effects. More studies, particularly field studies, are still necessary to establish conclusive evidence for the effectiveness of TP against phytopathogens. Both Southern rice black-streaked dwarf virus (SRBSDV) and Rice ragged stunt virus (RRSV) belong to the family Reoviridae, and synergistic infection of these two viruses commonly occurs in the field. This study revealed that both SRBSDV and RRSV affect the RNA interference (RNAi) pathway and form different virus-derived interfering RNA (vsiRNA) profiles in rice. Co-infection of rice by SRBSDV and RRSV up-regulated the expression of rice DICER-like (DCL) proteins but down-regulated the expression of rice RNA-dependent RNA polymerases (RDRs), and the accumulation of vsiRNAs of either RBSDV or RRSV was decreased compared with that in singly infected plants. The majority of SRBSDV vsiRNAs were 21 nt or 22 nt in length, whether plants were singly infected with SRBSDV or co-infected with RRSV. On the other hand, the majority of RRSV vsiRNAs were 20 nt, 21 nt, or 22 nt in length, among which those 20 nt in length accounted for the largest proportion; co-infection with SRBSDV further increased the proportion of 20 nt vsiRNAs and decreased the proportion of 21 nt vsiRNAs. Co-infection had no effects on the strand favoritism and hot spots of the vsiRNAs, but changed the bias of the 5′ terminal nucleotide significantly. Changes in ocean temperature over time have important implications for marine ecosystems and global climate change. Marine temperature changes with time and has the features of closeness, period, and trend. This paper analyzes the temporal dependence of marine temperature variation at multiple depths and proposes a new ocean-temperature time-series prediction method based on the temporal dependence parameter matrix fusion of historical observation data. The Temporal Dependence-Based Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) Networks for Marine Temperature Prediction (TD-LSTM) proves better than other methods while predicting sea-surface temperature (SST) by using Argo data. Essential oils (EOs) have stability problems, including volatility, oxidation, photosensitivity, heat sensitivity, humidity sensitivity, pH sensitivity, and ion sensitivity. A drug delivery system is an effective way to stabilize EOs, especially due to the protective effect of polymeric drug carriers. Polysaccharides are frequently employed as drug carrier materials because they are highly safe, come in a variety of forms, and have plentiful sources. Interestingly, the EO drug delivery system is based on the biomimetic concept since it corresponds to the structure of plant tissue. In this paper, we associate the biomimetic plant-like structures of the EO drug delivery system with the natural forms of EO in plant tissues, and summarize the characteristics of polysaccharide-based drug carriers for EO protection. Thus, we highlight the research progress on polysaccharides and their modified materials, including gum arabic, starch, cellulose, chitosan, sodium alginate, pectin, and pullulan, and their use as biomimetic drug carriers for EO preparations due to their abilities and potential for EO protection. Southern rice black-streaked dwarf virus (SRBSDV) is a devastating newly emerged rice reovirus in Eastern and Southeastern Asia transmitted by a long-distance migratory pest, the white-backed planthopper (WBPH). We previously showed that SRBSDV infection decreased the cold tolerance but improved the heat tolerance of its vector, WBPH. Comparative metabolomic analysis was used to explore the potential mechanisms underlying these changes in temperature stress response. Fourth-generation WBPH nymphs were treated with SRBSDV and/or extreme temperature stress and were analyzed using gas chromatography-time of flight-mass spectrometry. A total of 605 distinguishable peaks were identified and 165, 207, and 202 differentially accumulated metabolites were identified in WBPH after virus infection, cold, or heat stress, respectively. The nucleic acids and fatty acids were the major categories of metabolites regulated by SRBSDV infection, whereas temperature stress regulated tricarboxylic acid cycle compounds, sugars, and polyols. For the WBPH samples infected with SRBSDV and subjected to temperature stress, amino acids, sugars, and polyols were the most significant regulated metabolites. The metabolomics study suggests that SRBSDV may influence the extreme temperature tolerance of WBPH by regulating the accumulation of amino acids, sugars, and polyols in the insect body. The BeiDou navigation satellite system (BDS) provides precise positioning, navigation, and timing (PNT) services in the Asia-Pacific Region, but the BDS-based structural health monitoring (SHM) approach (SHM) is rarely studied, especially in civil engineering. Moreover, how BDS can be applied to complete the tasks of SHM in a real project is also not fully investigated, especially working in conjunction with other techniques. This study aims to propose a BDS-based approach for SHM in civil engineering. The performance of the proposed approach is investigated through a case study—the Tianhan Grand Theater (TGT). A specific Tianhan system corresponding to BDS is proposed to complete the SHM tasks of TGT. Based on the collected data, the trusses with maximum displacement and stress are found by BDS to evaluate structural health in the construction stage. The results show that the maximum displacement and stress have certain safety reserves and meet the requirements of the specifications and regulations. Thus, BDS can satisfactorily complete the tasks of SHM for Long-span steel structures. This study gives a clear view to engineers and researchers that how to apply BDS in structural construction and provides a valuable real case for evaluating the performance of BDS in SHM. The change in raindrop spectrum characteristics is an important factor affecting the accuracy of estimations of precipitation. The in-depth study of raindrop spectrum characteristics is of great interest for understanding precipitation process and improving quantitative radar precipitation estimation. In this paper, the raindrop size distributions at Longli (57913), Puding (57808) and Luodian (57916) stations in Guizhou were analyzed from the perspective of precipitation microphysical characteristics. The results showed that the raindrop size distribution was different among different regions. The correlation coefficients of the mass-weighted average diameter for the rain intensities at these three stations were 46.89%, 49.51%, and 47.03%, respectively, which were slightly lower than the normal correlation coefficients of the average volume diameter for the rain intensities: 67.80%, 71.28%, and 71.46%, respectively. Based on the data from the Guiyang weather radar, raindrop spectrometer, and automatic rain gauge, the dynamic Z-I relationship method and the LSTM neural network method were used to estimate precipitation. The correlation coefficients of the dynamic Z-I relationship method and the LSTM neural network method at the three stations studied were 0.8432, 0.7763, and 0.8658 and 0.8745, 0.9125, and 0.8676, respectively. Regarding the process of stratiform cloud precipitation, the correlation coefficients of the dynamic Z-I relationship method and LSTM neural network method at the three stations were 0.6933, 0.0902, and 0.1409 and 0.7114, 0.4984, and 0.4902, respectively. In the estimation of cumulative precipitation for 45 days from 1 July to 16 August 2020, the relative errors of the neural network estimation at the three stations were −4.25%, −11.35%, and −8.68% and the relative errors of the dynamic Z-I relationship estimation were −2.68%, −7.41%, and −21.23%, respectively. The final relative error of the neural network was slightly worse than that of the dynamic Z-I relationship in the cumulative precipitation estimations of Longli station and Puding station, but the overall correlation coefficients of the LSTM neural network method were better than those of the dynamic Z-I relationship method. Precise recognition of maize growth stages in the field is one of the critical steps in conducting precision irrigation and crop growth evaluation. However, due to the ever-changing environmental factors and maize growth characteristics, traditional recognition methods usually suffer from limitations in recognizing different growth stages. For the purpose of tackling these issues, this study proposed an improved U-net by first using a cascade convolution-based network as the encoder with a strategy for backbone network replacement to optimize feature extraction and reuse. Secondly, three attention mechanism modules have been introduced to upgrade the decoder part of the original U-net, which highlighted critical regions and extracted more discriminative features of maize. Subsequently, a dilation path of the improved U-net was constructed by integrating dilated convolution layers using a multi-scale feature fusion approach to preserve the detailed spatial information of in-field maize. Finally, the improved U-net has been applied to recognize different growth stages of maize in the field. The results clearly demonstrated the superior ability of the improved U-net to precisely segment and recognize maize growth stage from in-field images. Specifically, the semantic segmentation network achieved a mean intersection over union (mIoU) of 94.51% and a mean pixel accuracy (mPA) of 96.93% in recognizing the maize growth stage with only 39.08 MB of parameters. In conclusion, the good trade-offs made in terms of accuracy and parameter number demonstrated that this study could lay a good foundation for implementing accurate maize growth stage recognition and long-term automatic growth monitoring. The study of massive neutrinos and their interactions is a critical aspect of contemporary cosmology. Recent advances in parallel computation and high-performance computing provide new opportunities for accurately constraining Large-Scale Structures (LSS). In this paper, we introduce the TianNu cosmological N-body simulation during the co-evolution of massive neutrino and cold dark matter components via the CUBEP 3 M code running on the supercomputer Tianhe-2 and TianNu's connected works. We start by analyzing 2.537 × 10 7 dark halos from the scientific data of TianNu simulation, and compare their angular momentum with the matched halos from neutrino-free TianZero, revealing a dependence of angular momentum modulus on neutrino injection at scales below 50 Mpc and around 10 Mpc. To give full play to the advantages of polyurethane as a binder, such as mixing at room temperature, short curing time, and high curing strength, polyurethane was used as the binder of a waste asphalt mixture, and the pavement performance of PCRM (Polyurethane Cold-Recycled Mixture) was analyzed. Firstly, the adhesion performance of polyurethane binder with new and old aggregates was evaluated using the adhesion test. Then, the mix proportion was designed according to the material characteristics, and the reasonable molding process, maintenance conditions, design indexes, and the optimal binder ratio were proposed. Secondly, the high-temperature stability, low-temperature crack resistance, water stability, and compressive resilient modulus of the mixture were evaluated through laboratory tests. Finally, the pore structure and microscopic morphology of polyurethane cold-recycled mixture were analyzed by industrial CT (Computerized Tomography) scanning, and the failure mechanism of polyurethane cold-recycled mixture was revealed. The test results show that the adhesion between polyurethane and RAP (Reclaimed Asphalt Pavement) is good, and the splitting strength of the mixture increases greatly when the ratio of glue to stone reaches 9%. Polyurethane binder has low sensitivity to temperature and poor water stability. With the increase of RAP content, the high-temperature stability, low-temperature crack resistance, and compressive resilient modulus of PCRM showed a decreasing trend. When the RAP content was less than 40%, the freeze–thaw splitting strength ratio of the mixture was improved. After the incorporation of RAP, the interface was more complex and there were many micron-scale holes, cracks, and other defects; after high-temperature immersion, the polyurethane binder appeared to show a certain degree of peeling at the holes of the RAP surface. After freeze–thaw, the polyurethane binder on the surface of the mixture produced many cracks. The study of polyurethane cold-recycled mixture is of great significance to realize green construction. Gas sensors have played a critical role in healthcare, atmospheric environmental monitoring, military applications and so on. In particular, flexible sensing devices are of great interest, benefitting from flexibility and wearability. However, developing flexible gas sensors with a high sensitivity, great stability and workability is still challenging. In this work, multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) were grown on polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) films, which were further modified with polyaniline (PANI) using a simple chemical oxidation synthesis. The superior flexibility of the PANI-MWCNTs/PDMS film enabled a stable initial resistance value, even under bending conditions. The flexible sensor showed excellent NH3 sensing performances, including a high response (11.8 ± 0.2 for 40 ppm of NH3) and a low limit of detection (10 ppb) at room temperature. Moreover, the effect of a humid environment on the NH3 sensing performances was investigated. The results show that the response of the sensor is enhanced under high humidity conditions because water molecules can promote the adsorption of NH3 on the PANI-MWCNTs/PDMS films. Remote sensing image classification (RSIC) is a classical and fundamental task in the intelligent interpretation of remote sensing imagery, which can provide unique labeling information for each acquired remote sensing image. Thanks to the potent global context information extraction ability of the multi-head self-attention (MSA) mechanism, visual transformer (ViT)-based architectures have shown excellent capability in natural scene image classification. However, in order to achieve powerful RSIC performance, it is insufficient to capture global spatial information alone. Specifically, for fine-grained target recognition tasks with high inter-class similarity, discriminative and effective local feature representations are key to correct classification. In addition, due to the lack of inductive biases, the powerful global spatial context representation capability of ViT requires lengthy training procedures and large-scale pre-training data volume. To solve the above problems, a hybrid architecture of convolution neural network (CNN) and ViT is proposed to improve the RSIC ability, called P 2 FEViT, which integrates plug-and-play CNN features with ViT. In this paper, the feature representation capabilities of CNN and ViT applying for RSIC are first analyzed. Second, aiming to integrate the advantages of CNN and ViT, a novel approach embedding CNN features into the ViT architecture is proposed, which can make the model synchronously capture and fuse global context and local multimodal information to further improve the classification capability of ViT. Third, based on the hybrid structure, only a simple cross-entropy loss is employed for model training. The model can also have rapid and comfortable convergence with relatively less training data than the original ViT. Finally, extensive experiments are conducted on the public and challenging remote sensing scene classification dataset of NWPU-RESISC45 (NWPU-R45) and the self-built fine-grained target classification dataset called BIT-AFGR50. The experimental results demonstrate that the proposed P 2 FEViT can effectively improve the feature description capability and obtain outstanding image classification performance, while significantly reducing the high dependence of ViT on large-scale pre-training data volume and accelerating the convergence speed. In this paper, a hybrid wetting surface (HWS) with Au/Ag alloy nanocomposites was proposed for rapid, cost-effective, stable and sensitive SERS application. This surface was fabricated in a large area by facile electrospinning, plasma etching and photomask-assisted sputtering processes. The high-density 'hot spots' and rough surface from plasmonic alloy nanocomposites promoted the significant enhancement of the electromagnetic field. Meanwhile, the condensation effects induced by HWS further improved the density of target analytes at the SERS active area. Thus, the SERS signals increased ~4 orders of magnitude compared to the normal SERS substrate. In addition, the reproducibility, uniformity, as well as thermal performance of HWS were also examined by comparative experiments, indicating their high reliability, portability and practicability for on-site tests. Phytoplasmas are uncultivable, phloem-limited, phytopathogenic bacteria that represent a major threat to agriculture worldwide. Phytoplasma membrane proteins are in direct contact with hosts and presumably play a crucial role in phytoplasma spread within the plant as well as by the insect vector. Three highly abundant types of immunodominant membrane proteins (IDP) have been identified within the phytoplasmas: immunodominant membrane protein (Imp), immunodominant membrane protein A (IdpA), and antigenic membrane protein (Amp). Although recent results indicate that Amp is involved in host specificity by interacting with host proteins such as actin, little is known about the pathogenicity of IDP in plants. In this study, we identified an antigenic membrane protein (Amp) of rice orange leaf phytoplasma (ROLP), which interacts with the actin of its vector. In addition, we generated Amp-transgenic lines of rice and expressed Amp in tobacco leaves by the potato virus X (PVX) expression system. Our results showed that the Amp of ROLP can induce the accumulation of ROLP and PVX in rice and tobacco plants, respectively. Although several studies have reported interactions between major phytoplasma antigenic membrane protein (Amp) and insect vector proteins, this example demonstrates that Amp protein can not only interact with the actin protein of its insect vector but can also directly inhibit host defense responses to promote the infection. Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi is an annual herb from the Scutellaria genus that has been extensively used as a traditional medicine for over 2000 years in China. Baicalin and other flavonoids have been identified as the principal bioactive ingredients. The biosynthetic pathway of baicalin in S. baicalensis has been elucidated; however, the specific functions of R2R3-MYB TF, which regulates baicalin synthesis, has not been well characterized in S. baicalensis to date. Here, a S20 R2R3-MYB TF (SbMYB12), which encodes 263 amino acids with a length of 792 bp, was expressed in all tested tissues (mainly in leaves) and responded to exogenous hormone methyl jasmonate (MeJA) treatment. The overexpression of SbMYB12 significantly promoted the accumulation of flavonoids such as baicalin and wogonoside in S. baicalensis hairy roots. Furthermore, biochemical experiments revealed that SbMYB12 is a nuclear-localized transcription activator that binds to the SbCCL7-4, SbCHI-2, and SbF6H-1 promoters to activate their expression. These results illustrate that SbMYB12 positively regulates the generation of baicalin and wogonoside. In summary, this work revealed a novel S20 R2R3-MYB regulator and enhances our understanding of the transcriptional and regulatory mechanisms of baicalin biosynthesis, as well as sheds new light on metabolic engineering in S. baicalensis. As ordered porous materials, metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) have attracted tremendous attention in the field of energy conversion and storage due to their high specific surface area, permanent porosity, and tunable pore sizes. Here, MOF-derived MnO/C nanocomposites with regular octahedral shape were synthesized using a Mn-based analogue of the MIL-100 framework (Mn-MIL-100, MIL: Matérial Institut Lavoisier) as the precursor. Using aberration-corrected environmental transmission electron microscopy (ETEM), MnO nanocages with a diameter of approximately 20 nm were recognized in the MnO/C nanocomposites fabricated, dispersed in a microporous carbon matrix homogeneously. The nanocages are composed of MnO nanoparticles with a diameter of approximately 2 nm and with a single crystal structure. The specific surface area of the as-prepared MnO/C octahedra decreases to 256 m2 g−1 from 507 m2 g−1 of the Mn-MIL-100 precursor, whereas the total pore volume increases to 0.245 cm3 g−1, which is approximately 29% higher than that of the precursor (0.190 cm3 g−1). Additionally, when utilized as an electrode for supercapacitors, the MOF-derived MnO/C nanocomposite demonstrates a towering specific capacitance of 421 F g−1 at 0.5 A g−1 and good cycle stability (94%) after 5000 cycles. Our work reveals that the MnO nanoparticles in MOF-derived MnO/C nanocomposites exhibit nanocage structure characteristics, which might be inherited from the Mn-MIL-100 precursor with analogous supertetrahedron units. Simple Summary: Interactions between insects and microorganisms facilitate the spread of the microorganisms, which in turn affect insect behaviors. In the current paper, we reviewed how fungi, bacteria, and viruses act on insect olfaction, ranging from volatiles of microorganism, microorganism-induced changes in host volatiles, and symbiotic microorganisms that directly affect insect olfaction. Finally, we highlighted the importance of olfaction in insect-microorganism interactions and provided insights into future research directions. Olfaction plays an essential role in various insect behaviors, including habitat selection, access to food, avoidance of predators, inter-species communication, aggregation, and reproduction. The olfactory process involves integrating multiple signals from external conditions and internal physiological states, including living environments, age, physiological conditions, and circadian rhythms. As microorganisms and insects form tight interactions, the behaviors of insects are constantly challenged by versatile microorganisms via olfactory cues. To better understand the microbial influences on insect behaviors via olfactory cues, this paper summarizes three different ways in which microorganisms modulate insect behaviors. Here, we deciphered three interesting aspects of microorganisms-contributed olfaction: (1) How do volatiles emitted by microorganisms affect the behaviors of insects? The SQUAMOSA PROMOTER-BINDING PROTEIN-LIKE (SPL) transcription factor play vital roles in plant growth and development. Although 15 SPL family genes have been recognized in the model medical plant Salvia miltiorrhiza Bunge, most of them have not been functionally characterized to date. Here, we performed a careful characterization of SmSPL2, which was expressed in almost all tissues of S. miltiorrhiza and had the highest transcriptional level in the calyx. Meanwhile, SmSPL2 has strong transcriptional activation activity and resides in the nucleus. We obtained overexpression lines of SmSPL2 and rSmSPL2 (miR156-resistant SmSPL2). Morphological changes in roots, including longer length, fewer adventitious roots, decreased lateral root density, and increased fresh weight, were observed in all of these transgenic lines. Two rSmSPL2-overexpressed lines were subjected to transcriptome analysis. Overexpression of rSmSPL2 changed root architectures by inhibiting biosynthesis and signal transduction of auxin, while triggering that of cytokinin. The salvianolic acid B (SalB) concentration was significantly decreased in rSmSPL2-overexpressed lines. Further analysis revealed that SmSPL2 binds directly to the promoters of Sm4CL9, SmTAT1, and SmPAL1 and inhibits their expression. Influenza remains one of the most prevalent viruses circulating amongst humans and has resulted in several pandemics. The prevention and control of H3N2 influenza is complicated by its propensity for evolution, which leads to vaccine mismatch and reduced vaccine efficacies. This study employed the strategy of serial passaging to compare the evolution of the human seasonal influenza strain A/Singapore/G2-31.1/2014(H3N2) in MDCK-SIAT1 versus primary chick embryo fibroblast (CEF) cells. Genetic analysis of the HA, NS1, NA, and PB1 gene segments by Sanger sequencing revealed the presence of specific mutations and a repertoire of viral quasispecies following serial passaging. Most quasispecies were also found in PB1, which exhibited consistently high transversion-to-transition ratios in all five MDCK-SIAT1 passages. Most notably, passage 5 virus harbored the D457G substitution in the HA2 subunit, while passage 3 virus acquired K53Q and Q69H mutations in PB1-F2. An A971 variant leading to a non-synonymous R316Q substitution in PB1 was also identified in MDCK-SIAT1 passages 2 and 4. With an increasing number of passages, the proportion of D457G mutations progressively increased and was associated with larger virus plaque sizes. However, microneutralization assays revealed no significant differences in the neutralizing antibody profiles of human-influenza-immune serum samples against pre-passaged virus and passage 5 virus. In contrast, viable virus was only detected in passage 1 of CEF cells, which gave rise to multiple viral RNA quasispecies. Our findings highlight that serial passaging is able to drive differential adaptation of H3N2 influenza in different host species and may alter viral virulence. Stroke often results in neurological and neuropsychiatric sequela. Exosomes derived from brain endothelial cells (EC-Exo) protect neurons from hypoxic injury. However, the biological role of exosomes in apoptosis and synaptic plasticity remains unclear. This research aimed to assess whether cerebral microvascular endothelial cells inhibit apoptosis and promote synaptic remodeling through exosome-mediated cell–cell interaction after the ischemic attack. The effects of EC-Exo on primary neuronal apoptosis and synapses in oxyglucose deprivation reoxygenation (OGD/R) injury were first assessed in vitro. Animal experiments were performed using C57BL/6J mice, divided into three groups: a sham group, a model (middle cerebral artery occlusion/reperfusion, MCAO/R) group, and an EC-Exo group (tail vein injection of EC-Exo, once/2 days for 14 days) to evaluate the neuromotor and exploratory abilities of mice after MCAO/R. Apoptosis and synaptic protein expression levels were detected. The results demonstrated that EC-Exo inhibited neuronal apoptosis and increased synaptic length after OGD/R. In vivo, EC-Exo not only improved neural motor behavior and increased regional cerebral blood flow (rCBF) in MCAO/R-injured mice but also promoted the expression of synaptic regulatory proteins and inhibited apoptosis in the brain. Thyroid cancer remains the most common endocrine malignancy worldwide, and its incidence has steadily increased over the past four years. Papillary Thyroid Cancer (PTC) is the most common differentiated thyroid cancer, accounting for 80–85% of all thyroid cancers. Mitochondrial proteins (MRPs) are an important part of the structural and functional integrity of the mitochondrial ribosomal complex. It has been reported that MRPL9 is highly expressed in liver cancer and promotes cell proliferation and migration, but it has not been reported in PTC. In the present study we found that MRPL9 was highly expressed in PTC tissues and cell lines, and lentivirus-mediated overexpression of MRPL9 promoted the proliferation and migration ability of PTC cells, whereas knockdown of MRPL9 had the opposite effect. The interaction between MRPL9 and GGCT (γ-glutamylcyclotransferase) was found by immunofluorescence and co-immunoprecipitation experiments (Co-IP). In addition, GGCT is highly expressed in PTC tissues and cell lines, and knockdown of GGCT/MRPL9 in vivo inhibited the growth of subcutaneous xenografts in nude mice and inhibited the formation of lung metastases. Mechanistically, we found that knockdown of GGCT/MRPL9 inhibited the MAPK/ERK signaling pathway. In conclusion, our study found that the interaction of GGCT and MRPL9 modulates the MAPK/ERK pathway, affecting the proliferation and migration of PTC cells. Plastic waste is rapidly accumulating in the environment and becoming a huge global challenge. Many studies have highlighted the role of microbial metabolic engineering for the valorization of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) waste. In this study, we proposed a new conceptual scheme for upcycling of PET. We constructed a multifunctional Pseudomonas putida KT2440 to simultaneously secrete PET hydrolase LCC, a leaf-branch compost cutinase, and synthesize muconic acid (MA) using the PET hydrolysate. The final product MA and extracellular LCC can be separated from the supernatant of the culture by ultrafiltration, and the latter was used for the next round of PET hydrolysis. A total of 0.50 g MA was produced from 1 g PET in each cycle of the whole biological processes, reaching 68% of the theoretical conversion. This new conceptual scheme for the valorization of PET waste should have advantages over existing PET upcycling schemes and provides new ideas for the utilization of other macromolecular resources that are difficult to decompose, such as lignin. Proprotein convertase subtilisin/kexin type 9 (PCSK9) is a secretory serine protease synthesized primarily by the liver. It mainly promotes the degradation of low-density lipoprotein receptor (LDL-R) by binding LDL-R, reducing low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) clearance. In addition to regulating LDL-R, PCSK9 inhibitors can also bind Toll-like receptors (TLRs), scavenger receptor B (SR-B/CD36), low-density lipoprotein receptor-related protein 1 (LRP1), apolipoprotein E receptor-2 (ApoER2) and very-low-density lipoprotein receptor (VLDL-R) reducing the lipoprotein concentration and slowing thrombosis. Despite recent breakthroughs in diagnosis and treatment, congenital heart defects (CHDs) continue to be the leading cause of death among newborns. Fetal echocardiography is the most effective and non-invasive method for the prenatal diagnosis of CHDs. However, the challenge of obtaining standard views can lead to a low diagnostic accuracy. To explore new methods for training, the combined use of cardiovascular casting, computed tomography (CT) scanning, and virtual ultrasound generation methods was studied to preserve the cardiac structures of a fetus in digital form. The feasibility of the proposed workflow was verified by testing three fetal heart specimens collected after the termination of pregnancy. As a result, the anatomical structures were imaged clearly by a CT scan after cardiovascular casting, and the virtually generated ultrasound images based on the use of the Public software Library for UltraSound imaging research (PLUS) toolkit successfully demonstrated both the standard views and the views with diagnostic values for the visualization of the cardiovascular structures. This solution provides great data extensibility while being simple and cost-effective for end users. Therefore, the proposed method could provide a promising educational system for trainees to understand standard views of fetal echocardiography and the corresponding anatomical correlations. Due to the increasing complexity of the entire satellite system and the deteriorating orbital environment, multiple independent single faults may occur simultaneously in the satellite power system. However, two stumbling blocks hinder the effective diagnosis of simultaneous-fault, namely, the difficulty of obtaining the simultaneous-fault data and the extremely complicated mapping of the simultaneous-fault modes to the sensor data. To tackle the challenges, a fault diagnosis strategy based on a novel rough set model is proposed. Specifically, a novel rough set model named FNζDTRS by introducing a concise loss function matrix and fuzzy neighborhood relationship is proposed to accurately mine and characterize the relationship between fault and data. Furthermore, an attribute rule-based fault matching strategy is designed without using simultaneous-fault data as training samples. Hydrogels based on nanocomposites (NC) structure have acquired a great deal of interest, but they are still limited by relatively low mechanical strength, inevitably losing elasticity when applied below subzero temperatures, due to the formation of ice crystallization. In this study, an anti-freezing and mechanically strong Laponite NC organohydrogel was prepared by a direct solvent replacement strategy of immersing Laponite NC pre-hydrogel into ethylene glycol (EG)/water mixture solution. In the organohydrogel, a part of water molecules was replaced by EG, which inhibited the formation of ice crystallization even at extremely low temperatures. In addition, the formation of hydrogen bonds between Laponite and the monomers of N-isopropylacrylamide (NIPAM) and hydroxyethyl acrylate (HEA) endowed the organohydrogels with high mechanical strength and toughness. The NC organohydrogel can maintain its mechanical flexibility even at −25 °C. The compressive stress, tensile stress, and elongation at the break of N5H5L reached 3871.71 kPa, 137.05 kPa, and 173.39%, respectively, which may be potentially applied as ocean probes in low temperature environment. To develop a novel asymmetric nanofiber membrane with antioxidant and antibacterial activities, biocompatible polyvinyl pyrrolidone (PVP) and polycaprolactone (PCL) were used as carriers to load water-soluble tea tree extract (TTE) and hydrophobic tea tree oil (TTO) via electrospinning and electrostatic spraying, respectively, which was named as TTE-PVP-3/TTO-PCL. The results show that uniform TTE-PVP nanofibers with an average diameter of 95 ± 27 nm could be obtained when the mass ratio of TTE to PVP was set as 1:3. Homogeneous TTO/PCL microspheres with an average size of 4.38 ± 0.79 µm could be obtained when the propulsion speed was 0.08 mm/min and the voltage was 10 KV. The activity study showed that TTE could only improve the antioxidant activity of TTE-PVP-3/TTO-PCL, while TTO could improve the antibacterial activity effectively. Under experimental conditions, the inhibition zones of TTE-PVP-3/TTO-PCL against Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli were 7.50 ± 0.48 mm and 9.55 ± 0.45 mm, respectively, and its scavenging rates for 2,2-diphenylpicrylhydrazyl (DHPP) and hydroxyl radical were 59.79 ± 4.10% and 61.02 ± 4.95%, respectively. R2R3-MYB transcription factors participate in multiple critical biological processes, particularly as relates to the regulation of secondary metabolites. The dried root of Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi is a traditional Chinese medicine and possesses various bioactive attributes including anti-inflammation, anti-HIV, and anti-COVID-19 properties due to its flavonoids. In the current study, a total of 95 R2R3-MYB genes were identified in S. baicalensis and classified into 34 subgroups, as supported by similar exon–intron structures and conserved motifs. Among them, 93 R2R3-SbMYBs were mapped onto nine chromosomes. Collinear analysis revealed that segmental duplications were primarily responsible for driving the evolution and expansion of the R2R3-SbMYB gene family. Synteny analyses showed that the ortholog numbers of the R2R3-MYB genes between S. baicalensis and other dicotyledons had a higher proportion compared to that which is found from the monocotyledons. RNA-seq data indicated that the expression patterns of R2R3-SbMYBs in different tissues were different. Quantitative reverse transcriptase-PCR (qRT-PCR) analysis showed that 36 R2R3-SbMYBs from different subgroups exhibited specific expression profiles under various conditions, including hormone stimuli treatments (methyl jasmonate and abscisic acid) and abiotic stresses (drought and cold shock treatments). Further investigation revealed that SbMYB18/32/46/60/70/74 localized in the nucleus, and SbMYB18/32/60/70 possessed transcriptional activation activity, implying their potential roles in the regulatory mechanisms of various biological processes. As a malignant tumor, liver cancer is mainly treated with chemotherapy, while chemotherapeutic drugs, such as doxorubicin (DOX), may lead to toxicity, drug resistance and poor prognosis. The targeted delivery systems of combining natural products and chemotherapeutic drugs are useful to eliminate cancers with reduced toxicity and increased efficiency. In this study, a diosgenin-based liposome loaded with DOX (Dios-DOX-LP) was developed for synergistic treatment of liver cancer, in which Dios not only replaced cholesterol as the membrane regulator to keep stability of liposomes, but also became the chemotherapy adjuvant of DOX for synergistic treatment. Dios-DOX-LP was characterized by particle size (99.4 ± 6.2 nm), zeta potential (−33.3 ± 2.5 mV), and entrapment efficiency (DOX: 98.77 ± 2.04%, Dios: 87.75 ± 2.93%), which had a good stability and slow-release effect. Compared with commercial DOX liposome (CHOL-DOX-LP), Dios-DOX-LP had an improved anti-tumor effect in vitro and in vivo by inducing the apoptosis and inhibiting the proliferation of the tumor cell, which was 1.6 times better than CHOL-DOX-LP in cytotoxicity, and had 78% of the tumor inhibition rate on tumor-bearing nude mice. Gastric cancer (GC) is the fifth most common cancer and the third deadliest cancer in the world, and the occurrence and development of GC are influenced by epigenetics. Methyltransferase-like 3 (METTL3) is a prominent RNA n6-adenosine methyltransferase (m6A) that plays an important role in tumor growth by controlling the work of RNA. This study aimed to reveal the biological function and molecular mechanism of METTL3 in GC. The expression level of METTL3 in GC tissues and cells was detected by qPCR, Western blot and immunohistochemistry, and the expression level and prognosis of METTL3 were predicted in public databases. CCK-8, colony formation, transwell and wound healing assays were used to study the effect of METTL3 on GC cell proliferation and migration. In addition, the enrichment effect of METTL3 on DEK mRNA was detected by the RIP experiment, the m6A modification effect of METTL3 on DEK was verified by the MeRIP experiment and the mRNA half-life of DEK when METTL3 was overexpressed was detected. The dot blot assay detects m6A modification at the mRNA level. The effect of METTL3 on cell migration ability in vivo was examined by tail vein injection of luciferase-labeled cells. The experimental results showed that METTL3 was highly expressed in GC tissues and cells, and the high expression of METTL3 was associated with a poor prognosis. In addition, the m6A modification level of mRNA was higher in GC tissues and GC cell lines. Overexpression of METTL3 in MGC80-3 cells and AGS promoted cell proliferation and migration, while the knockdown of METTL3 inhibited cell proliferation and migration. The results of in vitro rescue experiments showed that the knockdown of DEK reversed the promoting effects of METTL3 on cell proliferation and migration. In vivo experiments showed that the knockdown of DEK reversed the increase in lung metastases caused by the overexpression of METTL3 in mice. Mechanistically, the results of the RIP experiment showed that METTL3 could enrich DEK mRNA, and the results of the MePIP and RNA half-life experiments indicated that METTL3 binds to the 3'UTR of DEK, participates in the m6A modification of DEK and promotes the stability of DEK mRNA. Ultimately, we concluded that METTL3 promotes GC cell proliferation and migration by stabilizing DEK mRNA expression. The increasing threat of chloride ions (Cl−) has led researchers to explore efficient removal technologies. Sewage treatment with a double-layer hydroxide/oxide (LDH/LDO) is receiving increasing attention. In this work, Mg-Al LDO adsorbents were produced by the calcination of the Mg-Al LDH precursor, which was constituted by improved coprecipitation. The influence of calcination temperature, calcination time, adsorbent dosage, Cl− initial concentration, contact time, and adsorption temperature on Cl− elimination was investigated systematically. The experimental results showed that a better porous structure endowed the Mg-Al LDO with outstanding adsorption properties for Cl−. The adsorption process was well matched to the pseudo-second-order kinetics model and the Freundlich model. Under optimal conditions, more than 97% of the Cl− could be eliminated. Moreover, the removal efficiency was greater than 90% even after 11 adsorption–desorption cycles. It was found that the electrostatic interaction between Cl− and the positively charged Mg-Al LDO laminate, coupled with the reconstruction of the layer structure, was what dominated the Cl− removal process. Gymnopus is a widely distributed genus consisting of about 300 species thus far, including Gymnopus fusipes as a generic type. A total of nine species from China belong to the sect. Levipedes, including eight new species—Gymnopus longisterigmaticus, Gymnopus longus, Gymnopus macrosporus, Gymnopus striatus, Gymnopus changbaiensis, Gymnopus tomentosus, Gymnopus tiliicola, and Gymnopus globulosus—which were delimited and proposed based on morphological and molecular evidence; and one new record from Jilin Province, China—Gymnopus erythropus. Detailed descriptions and illustrations are presented, as well as comparisons to similar species. Overall, our results broaden the morphological characterization of the genus. The pileipellis of sect. Levipedes typically takes on the "Dryophila structure", while, in our findings, pileipellis terminal hyphae inflated to spherical to prolate were observed, in addition to extremely long basidia sterigma. The phylogenies inferred from the ITS and nLSU dataset supported the Gymnopus, which was defined by Oliveira et al. as a monophyletic genus, and the novel species as separate lineages within. Simple Summary: Influenced by global climate, trade, and transportation factors, Bactrocera dorsalis (Hendel) has gradually spread from southern regions to Beijing, Hebei, and other northern areas in China. In order to evaluate the risk of damage of B. dorsalis to the dominant northern fruits, an age-stage two-sex life table was used to study the fitness of B. dorsalis for peaches and apples, with oranges as the control. Our results showed that the pest can cause continuous damage on northern fruit hosts, with the damage degree being basically the same on peaches as on the southern fruit of oranges. The B. dorsalis population on peaches increased by 12,112.1 times 90 days after oviposition, easily causing great damage. Additionally, the population increased by 4311 times on apples, which may also become a potentially new host of B. dorsalis in northern China, though with relatively lower fitness. This research lays a foundation for monitoring and the formulation of efficient control strategies for B. dorsalis. Bactrocera dorsalis (Hendel), as a quarantine pest in many countries and regions, has shown a trend of northward diffusion in the past century in China. In order to determine whether B. dorsalis will cause great harm to the dominant northern fruits, the age-stage two-sex life tables of peaches and apples were constructed, with oranges as the control. The results showed that the developmental rate, intrinsic rate of increase (r), and finite rate of increase (λ) on oranges and peaches were significantly greater than on apples. Additionally, the prediction of population growth 90 days after oviposition revealed that the whole population on oranges and peaches increased by 13,667.3 and 12,112.1 times, respectively, indicating that B. dorsalis is very likely to endanger peach orchards. The population increased on apples by 4311 times, though this is lower than that on oranges and peaches. Overall, peaches with high fitness similar to oranges are very suitable as a host for B. dorsalis and are likely to become a new favorable host, while apples may also become a potentially new host, though with lower fitness. Therefore, the most pressing solutions to take are population monitoring, comprehensive prevention, and control in the case of any potential large-scale outbreak of B. dorsalis in northern China. Faced with key obstacles, such as the short driving range, long charging time, and limited volume allowance of battery-powered electric light scooters in Asian cities, the aim of this study is to present a passive fuel cell/battery hybrid system without DC-DC to ensure a compact volume and low cost. A novel topology structure of the passive fuel cell/battery power system for the electric light scooter is proposed, and the passive power system runs only on hydrogen. The power performance and efficiency of the passive power system are evaluated by a self-developed test bench before installation into the scooters. The results of this study reveal that the characteristics of stable power output, quick response, and the average efficiency are as high as 88% during the Shanghainese urban driving cycle and 89.5% during the Chinese standard driving cycle. Fully mechanized top-coal caving mining with high mining height, hard roofs and strong mining pressure are popular in the Shendong mining area, China. The occurrence of dynamic disasters, such as rock burst, coal and gas outburst, mine earthquakes and goaf hurricanes during the coal exploitation process under hard roof conditions, pose a threat to the safe production of mines. In this study, the characteristics of overburden fracture in fully mechanized top-coal caving with a hard roof and high mining height are studied, and the technology of advanced weakening by hard roof staged fracturing was proposed. The results show that the hard roof strata collapse in the form of large "cantilever beams", and it is easy to release huge impact kinetic energy, forming impact disasters. After the implementation of advanced hydraulic fracturing, the periodic weighting length decreases by 32.16%, and the length of overhang is reasonably and effectively controlled. Ellipsoidal fracture networks in the mining direction of the vertical working face, horizontal fracture networks perpendicular to the direction of the working face, and near-linear fracture planes dominated by vertical fractures were observed, with the accumulated energy greatly reduced. Zearalenone (ZEN) is a non-steroidal estrogen mycotoxin produced by Fusarium fungi, which inevitably exists in human and animal food or feed. Previous studies indicated that apoptosis seems to be a key determinant of ZEN-induced toxicity. This experiment aimed to investigate the protective effects of Glutamine (Gln) on ZEN-induced cytotoxicity in IPEC-J2 cells. The experimental results showed that Gln was able to alleviate the decline of cell viability and reduce the production of reactive oxygen species and calcium (Ca2+) induced by ZEN. Meanwhile, the mRNA expression of antioxidant enzymes such as glutathione reductase, glutathione peroxidase, and catalase was up-regulated after Gln addition. Subsequently, Gln supplementation resulted in the nuclear fission and Bad-fluorescence distribution of apoptotic cells were weakened, and the mRNA expression and protein expression of pro-apoptotic genes and apoptotic rates were significantly reduced. Moreover, ZEN reduced the phosphorylation Akt, decreased the expression of Bcl-2, and increased the expression of Bax. Gln alleviated the above changes induced by ZEN and the antagonistic effects of Gln were disturbed by PI3K inhibitor (LY294002). To conclude, this study revealed that Gln exhibited significant protective effects on ZEN-induced apoptosis, and this effect may be attributed to the PI3K/Akt signaling pathway. Simple Summary: Bombyx mori (B. mori), an important economic insect, is famous for its silk. B. mori silk is mainly composed of silk fibroin coated with sericin. Among them, the silk fibroin heavy chain protein has the highest content and the largest molecular weight, which is encoded by the silk fibroin heavy chain (FibH) gene. At present, apart from the complete sequence of the FibH of the B. mori strain p50T, there are no other reports regarding this protein. This is mainly because the special structure formed by the GC-rich repetitive sequence in FibH hinders the amplification of polymerase and the application of Sanger sequencing. Here, the FibH sequence of Dazao, which has 99.98% similarity to that of p50T, was obtained by means of CEO. As far as we know, this is the first complete FibH sequence of the Chinese B. mori strain. Additionally, the methylated CG sites in the FibH repeat unit were identified. To study the evolution of gene function and a species, it is essential to characterize the tandem repetitive sequences distributed across the genome. Cas9-based enrichment combined with nanopore sequencing is an important technique for targeting repetitive sequences. Cpf1 has low molecular weight, low off-target efficiency, and the same editing efficiency as Cas9. There are numerous studies on enrichment sequencing using Cas9 combined with nanopore, while there are only a few studies on the enrichment sequencing of long and highly repetitive genes using Cpf1. We developed Cpf1-based enrichment combined with ONT sequencing (CEO) to characterize the B. mori FibH gene, which is composed of many repeat units with a long and GC-rich sequence up to 17 kb and is not easily amplified by means of a polymerase chain reaction (PCR). CEO has four steps: the dephosphorylation of genomic DNA, the Cpf1 targeted cleavage of FibH, adapter ligation, and ONT sequencing. Using CEO, we determined the fine structure of B. moriFibH, which is 16,845 bp long and includes 12 repetitive domains separated by amorphous regions. Except for the difference of three bases in the intron from the reference gene, the other sequences are identical. Surprisingly, many methylated CG sites were found and distributed unevenly on the FibH repeat unit. This paper adopts the method of steel tube wall thickness and strength reduction to simulate corrosion damage. The numerical model of the square concrete-filled steel tube long column (SCFST-LC) under eccentric compression after acid rain corrosion is established in the finite element software, ABAQUS. The reliability and accuracy of the model are verified by comparing it with published relevant experimental results. The failure mode, load-deformation curve, and ultimate compressive load were analysed. Following that, the impacts of section size, yield strength of the steel tube, axial compressive strength of concrete, steel ratio, slenderness ratio, and load eccentricity on its ultimate compressive load are comprehensively investigated. The results demonstrate that the ultimate compressive load of the SCFST-LC decreases significantly with the increase in corrosion rate. The corrosion rate increases from 10 to 40%, and the ultimate bearing capacity decreases by 37.6%. Its ultimate bearing capacity can be enhanced due to the increase in section size, material strength, and steel ratio. In contrast, the ascending slenderness ratio and load eccentricity has harmful effects on the ultimate compressive load of the specimens. Finally, a simplified formula for the axial compressive load of the SCFST-LC under eccentric compression after acid rain corrosion is proposed. Infrared maritime target detection is the key technology of maritime target search systems. However, infrared images generally have the defects of low signal-to-noise ratio and low resolution. At the same time, the maritime environment is complicated and changeable. Under the interference of islands, waves and other disturbances, the brightness of small dim targets is easily obscured, which makes them difficult to distinguish. This is difficult for traditional target detection algorithms to deal with. In order to solve these problems, through the analysis of infrared maritime images under a variety of sea conditions including small dim targets, this paper concludes that in infrared maritime images, small targets occupy very few pixels, often do not have any edge contour information, and the gray value and contrast values are very low. The background such as island and strong sea wave occupies a large number of pixels, with obvious texture features, and often has a high gray value. By deeply analyzing the difference between the target and the background, this paper proposes a detection algorithm (SRGM) for infrared small dim targets under different maritime background. Firstly, this algorithm proposes an efficient maritime background filter for the common background in the infrared maritime image. Firstly, the median filter based on the sensitive region selection is used to extract the image background accurately, and then the background is eliminated by image difference with the original image. In addition, this article analyzes the differences in gradient features between strong interference caused by the background and targets, proposes a small dim target extraction operator with two analysis factors that fit the target features perfectly and combines the adaptive threshold segmentation to realize the accurate extraction of the small dim target. The experimental results show that compared with the current popular small dim target detection algorithms, this paper has better performance for target detection in various maritime environments. Inorganic boron-based nanostructures have great potential for field emission (FE), flexible displays, superconductors, and energy storage because of their high melting point, low density, extreme hardness, and good chemical stability. Until now, most researchers have been focused on one-dimensional (1D) boron-based nanostructures (rare-earth boride (REB6) nanowires, boron nanowires, and nanotubes). Currently, two-dimensional (2D) borophene attracts most of the attention, due to its unique physical and chemical properties, which make it quite different from its corresponding bulk counterpart. Here, we offer a comprehensive review on the synthesis methods and optoelectronics properties of inorganic boron-based nanostructures, which are mainly concentrated on 1D rare-earth boride nanowires, boron monoelement nanowires, and nanotubes, as well as 2D borophene and borophane. This review paper is organized as follows. In Section I, the synthesis methods of inorganic boron-based nanostructures are systematically introduced. In Section II, we classify their optical and electrical transport properties (field emission, optical absorption, and photoconductive properties). In this study, an LC wireless passive humidity sensor based on MoS2 nanoflakes was proposed. The LC wireless passive humidity sensor was optimized by performing HFSS simulations and fabricated via a screen-printing technique. The MoS2 nanoflakes were characterized by laser scanning confocal microcopy, scanning electron microscope, and X-ray diffraction. The measurements show the sensor can operate stably for a long time with a hysteresis of 4% RH (relative humidity) in 10–95% RH. At low humidity environment (10–60% RH), the sensitivity of the as-prepared humidity sensor is 2.79 kHz/% RH, and a sensitivity of 76.04 kHz/% RH was realized in a high humidity environment (60–95% RH). In this regard, the sensing mechanism was discussed in the scope of proton transfer theory. The test results also indicate that the response time and recovery time of the prepared sensor are 10 s, 15 s, respectively and between 15~40 °C the sensitivity of sensor was not temperature-dependent in the range of 10~80% RH. In addition, the sensor shows less sensitivity to temperature in the 15–25 °C range at 90% RH. All of these experimental results show that the prepared LC wireless passive humidity sensor can stably monitor the rapidly changing humidity in a sealed and narrow environment for a long time.
