As a common vegetable variety, asparagus is rich in B vitamins, vitamin A, and trace elements such as folate, selenium, iron, manganese, and zinc. With the increasing market demand, China has become the world's largest cultivated area for asparagus production and product exportation. However, traditional asparagus grading mostly relies on manual visual judgment and needs a lot of manpower input to carry out the classification operation, which cannot meet the needs of large-scale production. To address the high labor cost and labor-intensive production process resulting from the large amount of manpower input and low accuracy of existing asparagus grading devices, this study proposed an improved asparagus grading system and method based on TOPSIS (Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to an Ideal Solution) objective evaluation and SVM (support vector machine) prediction. The key structure of classification device was analyzed first, the key components were designed, and the structural parameters were determined by theoretical calculation. Through analysis of the factors affecting asparagus quality, three key attributes were determined: length, diameter, and bruises, which were used as reference attributes to conduct experimental analysis. Then, the graded control groups were set up, combining the TOPSIS principle with weighting, and a score for each asparagus sample was determined. These scores were compared with those of a graded control group to derive the grade of each asparagus, and these subsets of the dataset were used as the training set and the test set, excluding the error caused by the subjectivity of the manual judgment. Based on a comparison of the accuracies of different machine learning models, the support vector machine (SVM) was determined to be the most accurate, and four SVM methods were used to evaluate the test set: linear SVM, quadratic SVM, cubic SVM, and medium Gaussian SVM. The test results showed that the grading device was feasible for asparagus. The bruises had a large influence on asparagus quality. The training accuracy of the medium Gaussian SVM method was high (96%), whereas its test accuracy was low (86.67%). The training accuracies and test accuracy of the quadratic and cubic SVM methods were 93.34%. The quadratic SVM and cubic SVM were demonstrated to have better generalization ability than the medium Gaussian SVM method for predicting unknown grades of asparagus and meeting the operational requirements of the asparagus grading. In this paper, a patch array antenna with wideband circular polarization and high gain is proposed by utilizing a hybrid metasurface (MS). A corner-cut slotted patch antenna was chosen as the source due to the possible generation of CP mode. The hybrid MS (HMS), consisting of a receiver MS (RMS) arranged in a 2 × 2 array of squared patches and a linear-to-circular polarization conversion (LCPC) MS surrounding it was then utilized as the superstrate driven by the source. The LCPC MS cell is a squared-corner-cut patch with a 45° oblique slot etched, which has the capability for wideband LCPC. The LCPC unit cell possesses wideband PC capabilities, as demonstrated by the surface current analysis and S-parameter simulations conducted using a Floquet–port setup. The LP EM wave radiated by the source antenna was initially received by the RMS, then converted to a CP wave as it passed through the LCPC MS, and ultimately propagated into space. To further enhance the LCPC properties, an improved HMS (IHMS) was then proposed with four cells cut at the corners, based on the original HMS design. To verify this design, both CMA and E-field were utilized to analyze the three MSs, indicating that the IHMS possessed a wideband LCPC capability compared to the other two MSs. The proposed antenna was then arranged in a 2 × 2 array with sequential rotation to further enhance its properties. As demonstrated by the measurements, the array antenna achieved an S11 bandwidth of 60.5%, a 3 dB AR bandwidth of 2.85 GHz, and a peak gain of 15.1 dBic, all while maintaining a low profile of only 0.09λ0. (1) Background: Diabetes is a common metabolic disease that seriously endangers human health. In the present study, we investigated the therapeutic effects of the active ingredient Eleutheroside B (EB) from the traditional Chinese medicine Eleutheroside on diabetes mellitus in a zebrafish model. Concomitant hepatic injury was also analysed, along with the study of possible molecular mechanisms using metabolomics technology. This work should provide some theoretical references for future experimental studies. (2) Methods: A zebrafish diabetes model was constructed by soaking in a 1.75% glucose solution and feeding a high-fat diet. The intervention drug groups were metformin (100 μg∙mL−1) and EB (50, 100, and 150 μg∙mL−1) via water-soluble exposure for 30 days. Glucose, TG, TC, LDL-C, and HDL-C were evaluated in different treatment groups. GLUT4 protein expression was also evaluated in each group, and liver injury was observed by HE staining. Metabolomics techniques were used to investigate the mechanism by which EB regulates endogenous markers and metabolic pathways during the development of diabetes. (3) Results: All EB treatment groups in diabetic zebrafish showed significantly reduced body mass index (BMI) and improved blood glucose and lipid profiles. EB was found to upregulate GLUT4 protein expression and ameliorate the liver injury caused by diabetes. Metabolomics studies showed that EB causes changes in the metabolic profile of diabetic zebrafish. These were related to the regulation of purine metabolism, cytochrome P450, caffeine metabolism, arginine and proline metabolism, the mTOR signalling pathway, insulin resistance, and glycerophospholipid metabolism. (4) Conclusions: EB has a hypoglycaemic effect in diabetic zebrafish as well as significantly improving disorders of glycolipid metabolism. Recently, the application of cryogenic hoses in the field of cryogenic media has become a hot topic, especially in the industry of offshore liquefied natural gas and aerospace field. However, the structure of cryogenic hoses is complex, and reasonable structural properties are required due to the harsh working conditions. There is still plenty of scope for further development to improve the performance in all aspects. In this paper, the current development status of cryogenic hoses for liquefied natural gas (LNG) transportation is reviewed first, including the types, manufacturers, structural forms, performance, and key technical challenges. And then, the recent progress and prospect of cryogenic hoses for cryogenic liquid transportation (such as LNG and liquid oxygen) are summarized, including structure design, low-temperature resistant polymers, liquid oxygen compatible polymers, and leakage monitoring technologies. This paper provides a comprehensive overview of the research development and application of cryogenic hoses. Regeneration has been considered as an ideal way for the post-treatment of waste FCC catalyst (ECat). In this work, the degeneration mechanism of ECat was firstly researched and attributed to the increasing of strong acid sites accessibility of ECat in contrast with fresh FCC catalyst by adsorption FTIR. Based on the proposed degeneration mechanism, ECat was successfully regenerated through suitable weakening for strong acid sites by boron modification. Characterization and evaluation results suggested that, the strong acid sites of regenerated ECat (R-ECat) were apparently decreased by boron modification which had significantly improve the heavy oil catalytic cracking performance of R-ECat. Because of the excellent performance, R-ECat in this work could successfully substitute for partial fresh FCC catalyst in FCC unit, which would provide a practicable way for the reutilization of ECat. In this work, squeeze casting experiments of flywheel housing components with a large wall thickness difference and a complex shape were carried out with AlSi9Mg aluminum alloy. The defects, microstructures, and mechanical properties under different process parameters were investigated. Furthermore, the local pressurization process was applied to the thick-walled positions to force-feed the cast defects. The mechanical properties and microstructures at these positions were analyzed. The results showed that the surface quality of formed components was good and that local pressurization could effectively reduce the shrinkage cavity and shrinkage porosity in thick walls, but the scope and effect of forced feeding were limited. The optimum process parameters were a pouring temperature of 650 °C, a specific pressure of 48 MPa, a mold temperature of 220 °C, a local pressurization of 800 MPa, and pressure delay times of 15 s (side A) and 17 s (side B). The ultimate tensile strength, yield strength, and elongation of the formed component under validation experiments of the optimum process parameters were 201 MPa, 103 MPa, and 5.1%. Meanwhile, the fine grains of primary α-Al were mainly rosette and equiaxed grains, and the average grain size was about 40 μm. The microstructure of the eutectic silicon was acicular and was prone to segregation under pressure. According to profile morphology, the positions after pressurization were divided into a deformation zone, a direct action zone, and an indirect action zone. The coexistence of as-cast and plastic deformation microstructures was observed. Simple Summary: Soft fruit is an economically important global fruit crop. Drosophila suzukii is a significant pest of soft fruit, including grape bayberry. In China, Trichopria drosophilae is the dominant pupal parasitoid of D. suzukii. In order to control the population of D. suzukii more effectively and reduce the use of pesticides, researchers have investigated the potential role of T. drosophilae in the biological control of D. suzukii in China. In this paper, we investigated the functional response and control potential of T. drosophilae on D. suzukii pupae at different temperatures. Our aim was to expand the range of control applications for T. drosophilae. We investigated the functional response and interference effect of T. drosophilae and found that T. drosophilae showed good levels of parasitic ability on D. suzukii pupae in the laboratory environment. At temperatures of 23 °C to 35 °C, T. drosophilae exhibited a type II functional response on D. suzukii pupae. Researchers have previously investigated the role of Trichopria drosophilae as a pupal parasitoid in the biological control of Drosophila suzukii in China. Here, we investigated the ability of T. drosophilae to parasitize D. suzukii pupae at different temperatures. To do this, we evaluated the functional response of T. drosophilae to D. suzukii pupae at different temperatures and investigated the specific effects of density on parasitism. The results show that the parasitic functional response of T. drosophilae under different high-temperature stimuli is Holling type II. After processing at 29 °C, the instantaneous search rate was 1.1611; the theoretical maximum parasitic value was 20.88 at 31 °C. The parasitic efficiency decreased with increasing stimulation temperature, as the host pupa density increased from 5 to 25, and the strongest search effect occurred at 0.87 at 27 °C. The searching effect of T. drosophilae at each temperature fell gradually with an increase in prey density from 5 to 25. At 31 °C, the theoretical parasitic maximum of T. drosophilae reached a maximum of 20.88 pupae. For very-high-resolution (VHR) remote sensing images with complex objects and rich textural information, multi-difference image fusion has been proven as an effective method to improve the performance of change detection. However, errors are superimposed during this process and a single spectral feature cannot fully utilize the correlation between pixels, resulting in low robustness. To overcome these problems and optimize the performance of multi-difference image fusion in change detection, we propose a novel multi-difference image fusion change detection method based on a visual attention model (VA-MDCD). First, we construct difference images using change vector analysis (CVA) and spectral gradient difference (SGD). Second, we use the visual attention model to calculate multiple color, intensity and orientation features of the difference images to obtain the difference saliency images. Third, we use the wavelet transform fusion algorithm to fuse two saliency images. Finally, we execute the OTSU threshold segmentation algorithm (OTSU) to obtain the final change detection map. To validate the effectiveness of VA-MDCD on VHR images, two datasets of Jilin 1 and Beijing 2 are selected for experiments. Compared with classical methods, the proposed method has a better performance with fewer missed alarms (MA) and false alarms (FA), which proves that the method has a strong robustness and generalization ability. The F-measure of the two datasets is 0.6671 and 0.7313, respectively. On 6 February 2023 (UTC), an earthquake doublet, consisting of the Mw 7.8 Pazarcik earthquake and the Mw 7.5 Elbistan earthquake, struck south-central Turkey and northwestern Syria, which was the largest earthquake that occurred in Turkey since the 1939 Erzincan earthquake. The faulting model of this earthquake was estimated based on the coseismic InSAR and GPS displacements. In addition, the best-fitting coseismic faulting model indicates that both the Pazarcik earthquake and the Elbistan earthquake were controlled by predominated left-lateral strike-slip motion, with slip peaks of 9.7 m and 10.8 m, respectively. The Coulomb failure stress (CFS) change suggests that the Pazarcik earthquake has a positive effect in triggering the rupture of the seismogenic fault of the Elbistan earthquake. Furthermore, these two main shocks promoted the occurrence of the Mw 6.3 strong aftershock. Additionally, it is found that the 2023 Turkey-Syria earthquake doublet increased the rupture risk of the Puturge segment of the EAF fault and the northern segment of the Dead Sea Fault (DSF). It is crucial to note that the northern segment of the DSF has not experienced a large earthquake in several centuries, highlighting the need for heightened attention to the potential seismic hazard of this segment. A thermal-oxidative aging test at 120 °C was conducted on ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM) vulcanizates of the semi-efficient vulcanization system. The effect of thermal-oxidative aging on EPDM vulcanizates was systematically studied by curing kinetics, aging coefficient, crosslinking density, macroscopic physical properties, contact angle, Fourier Transform Infrared Spectrometer (FTIR), Thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) and thermal decomposition kinetics. The results show that the content of hydroxyl and carbonyl groups as well as the carbonyl index increased with increasing aging time, indicating that EPDM vulcanizates were gradually oxidized and degraded. As a result, the EPDM vulcanized rubber chains were crosslinked with limited conformational transformation and weakened flexibility. The thermogravimetric analysis demonstrates that the thermal degradation of EPDM vulcanizates had competitive reactions of crosslinking and degradation, and the thermal decomposition curve can be divided into three stages; meanwhile, the thermal stability of EPDM vulcanizates gradually decreased with increasing aging time. The introduction of antioxidants in the system can promote the crosslinking speed and reduce the crosslinking density of EPDM vulcanizates while inhibiting the surface thermal and oxygen aging reaction. This was attributed to the fact that the antioxidant can reduce the thermal degradation reaction level, but it is not conducive to the formation of a perfect crosslinking network structure and reduces the activation energy of thermal degradation of the main chain. Graphene and graphene-based materials gifted with high electrical conductivity are potential alternatives in various related fields. However, the electrical conductivity of the macro-graphene materials is much lower than their metal counterparts. Herein, we improved the electrical conductivity of reduced graphene oxide (rGO) based graphene assembled films (GAFs) by applying a series of compressive stress and systematically investigated the relationship between the compressive stress and the electrical conductivity. The result indicates that with increasing applied compressive stress, the sheet resistance increased as well, while the thickness decreased. Under the combined effect of these two competing factors, the number of charge carriers per unit volume increased dramatically, and the conductivity of compressed GAFs (c-GAFs) showed an initial increasing trend as we applied higher pressure and reached a maximum of 5.37 × 105 S/m at the optimal stress of 450 MPa with a subsequent decrease with stress at 550 MPa. Furthermore, the c-GAFs were fabricated into strain sensors and showed better stability and sensitivity compared with GAF-based sensors. This work revealed the mechanism of the tunable conductivity and presented a facile and universal method for improving the electrical conductivity of macro-graphene materials in a controllable manner and proved the potential applications of such materials in flexible electronics like antennas, sensors, and wearable devices. Fast and effective cleanup of oil spills remains a global challenge. A modified commercial sponge with superhydrophobicity, strong absorption capacity, outstanding magnetic response, and fire resistance were fabricated by a facile and inexpensive route of dip-coated melamine sponge carbonization. The low-cost petroleum asphaltene and kaolin nanoparticles were used as the dip-coating reagent. High absorption capacity of the fabricated sponges allowed rapid and continuous removal of oil contaminants. Taking advantage of the good refractory property, the sponges can be used in burning conditions and directly reused after burning out of the absorbed oil. Reusability tests showed that the modified sponges still maintained high absorption capacity (>85%) after six regeneration and reuse cycles. These characteristics make the fabricated sponge a promising aid to promote effective in situ burning cleanup of oil spills, contributing as a magnetic oil collector and a fire-resistant flexible boom. Simple Summary: Histone demethylase JMJD2D is a multifunctional epigenetic factor coordinating androgen receptor activation, DNA damage repair, DNA replication, cell cycle regulation, and inflammation modulation. JMJD2D is also a well-established epigenetic facilitator in the progression of multiple malignant tumors, especially in colorectal cancer (CRC) and hepatocellular cancer (HCC). This review aims to summarize the mechanisms of JMJD2D in promoting CRC and HCC progression, which provides novel ideas for targeting JMJD2D in oncotherapy. JMJD2D promotes gene transcription by reducing H3K9 methylation and serves as a coactivator to enhance the activities of multiple carcinogenic pathways, including Wnt/β-catenin, Hedgehog, HIF1, JAK-STAT3, and Notch signaling; or acts as an antagonist of the tumor suppressor p53. Posttranslational modifications (PTMs) of histones are well-established contributors in a variety of biological functions, especially tumorigenesis. Histone demethylase JMJD2D (also known as KDM4D), a member of the JMJD2 subfamily, promotes gene transcription by antagonizing H3K9 methylation. JMJD2D is an epigenetic factor coordinating androgen receptor activation, DNA damage repair, DNA replication, and cell cycle regulation. Recently, the oncogenic role of JMJD2D in colorectal cancer (CRC) and hepatocellular cancer (HCC) has been recognized. JMJD2D serves as a coactivator of β-catenin, Gli1/2, HIF1α, STAT3, IRF1, TCF4, and NICD or an antagonist of p53 to promote the progression of CRC and HCC. In this review, we summarize the molecular mechanisms of JMJD2D in promoting the progression of CRC and HCC as well as the constructive role of its targeting inhibitors in suppressing tumorigenesis and synergistically enhancing the efficacy of anti-PD-1/PD-L1 immunotherapy. This paper addresses the orbital rendezvous control for multiple uncertain satellites. Against the background of a pulsar-based positioning approach, a geometric trick is applied to determine the position of satellites. A discontinuous estimation algorithm using neighboring communications is proposed to estimate the target's position and velocity in the Earth's Centered Inertial Frame for achieving distributed rendezvous control. The variables generated by the dynamic estimation are viewed as virtual reference trajectories for each satellite in the group, followed by a novel saturation-like adaptive control law with the assumption that the masses of satellites are unknown and time-varying. The rendezvous errors are proven to be convergent to zero asymptotically. Numerical simulations considering the measurement fluctuations validate the effectiveness of the proposed control law. The development of advanced feed spacers under different working conditions can enhance the performance of the reverse osmosis (RO) desalination process. The 3D-printed experimental results on triply periodic minimal surfaces (TPMS)-based spacers in previous literature indicate that the spacers have higher permeation flux of water compared to those of the common commercial spacers. In this paper, a hybrid modeling approach is developed and applied to predict and evaluate the performance of TPMS-based spacers. The effect of feed channels' height and porosity on the performance of spacers in brackish water RO (BWRO) process is studied by using a high-throughput approach. The predicted pressure drop by new simulations using the TPMS-based spacers (≈0.09–0.27 bar) from inlet to outlet in a typical two-stage BWRO system is reduced by more than 89% than that of using the commercial spacer (≈2.57 bar). Using the designed advanced spacers, the average permeation flux of water increases more than 8.6% compared to that of the commercial one. The census and management of hazard-bearing entities, along with the integrity of data quality, form crucial foundations for disaster risk assessment and zoning. By addressing the challenge of feature confusion, prevalent in single remotely sensed image recognition methods, this paper introduces a novel method, Spatially Constrained Deep Learning (SCDL), that combines deep learning with spatial constraint strategies for the extraction of disaster-bearing bodies, focusing on dams as a typical example. The methodology involves the creation of a dam dataset using a database of dams, followed by the training of YOLOv5, Varifocal Net, Faster R-CNN, and Cascade R-CNN models. These models are trained separately, and highly confidential dam location information is extracted through parameter thresholding. Furthermore, three spatial constraint strategies are employed to mitigate the impact of other factors, particularly confusing features, in the background region. To assess the method's applicability and efficiency, Qinghai Province serves as the experimental area, with dam images from the Google Earth Pro database used as validation samples. The experimental results demonstrate that the recognition accuracy of SCDL reaches 94.73%, effectively addressing interference from background factors. Notably, the proposed method identifies six dams not recorded in the GOODD database, while also detecting six dams in the database that were previously unrecorded. Additionally, four dams misdirected in the database are corrected, contributing to the enhancement and supplementation of the global dam geo-reference database and providing robust support for disaster risk assessment. In conclusion, leveraging open geographic data products, the comprehensive framework presented in this paper, encompassing deep learning target detection technology and spatial constraint strategies, enables more efficient and accurate intelligent retrieval of disaster-bearing bodies, specifically dams. The physical properties of Ti6Al4V powder affect the spreadability of the powder and uniformity of the powder bed, which had a great impact on the performance of built parts made by powder bed fusion technology. Micro-computed tomography is a well-established technique used to analyze the non-destructivity of the objects' interior. Ti6Al4V powders were scanned with micro-CT to show the internal and external information of all the particles. The morphology, particle size distribution, hollow particle ratio, density, inclusion, and specific surface area of the powder samples were quantitatively characterized, and the relationship of flowability with these physical properties was analyzed in this work. The research results of this article showed that micro-CT is an effective way to characterize these items, and can be developed as a standard method of powder physical properties in the future. Recent outbreaks of Zika virus (ZIKV) highlight the urgent need to develop efficacious interventions against flaviviruses, many of which cause devastating epidemics around the world. Monoclonal antibodies (mAb) have been at the forefront of treatment for cancer and a wide array of other diseases due to their specificity and potency. While mammalian cell-produced mAbs have shown promise as therapeutic candidates against several flaviviruses, their eventual approval for human application still faces several challenges including their potential risk of predisposing treated patients to more severe secondary infection by a heterologous flavivirus through antibody-dependent enhancement (ADE). The high cost associated with mAb production in mammalian cell cultures also poses a challenge for the feasible application of these drugs to the developing world where the majority of flavivirus infection occurs. Here, we review the current therapeutic mAb candidates against various flaviviruses including West Nile (WNV), Dengue virus (DENV), and ZIKV. The progress of using plants for developing safer and more economical mAb therapeutics against flaviviruses is discussed within the context of their expression, characterization, downstream processing, neutralization, and in vivo efficacy. The progress of using plant glycoengineering to address ADE, the major impediment of flavivirus therapeutic development, is highlighted. These advancements suggest that plant-based systems are excellent alternatives for addressing the remaining challenges of mAb therapeutic development against flavivirus and may facilitate the eventual commercialization of these drug candidates. Soil surface roughness is an important factor affecting hydrology and soil erosion processes, and its development is influenced by precipitation, topography, and tillage practices. In this study, the typical mollisol area in northeast China was taken as the research object. Then, the variation in soil surface roughness with time was analyzed under different terrains, as well as different tillage methods, and the effect of the precipitation condition on roughness was also discussed in detail. Through the design of field experiments, the height information of the soil surface was measured using a probe-type roughness plate. Two parameters, the root-mean-square height (RMSH) and the correlation length (CL), were selected to quantitatively characterize the soil surface roughness. In addition, the dynamic change patterns of surface roughness resulting from five tillage methods, including rotary tillage, combined tillage, no tillage, conventional tillage, and reduced tillage, under both sloping and flat land, were compared and analyzed throughout the soybean growing season, under the influence of rainfall. The results show that with the increase in rainfall, the RMSH of the soil surface, under different tillage methods, showed a trend of first decreasing, and then increasing. The results also showed that the RMSHs under rotary tillage, combined tillage, conventional tillage, and reduced tillage in flat land were greater than those in sloping land, and that the CLs of the soil surface under different tillage methods in flat land were smaller than those in sloping land. In addition, the degree of variation in the soil surface roughness was greater in flat land than that in sloping land under all tillage practices, indicating that this study is of great practical importance in the rational selection of tillage methods, and in the scientific quantification of soil erosion, which also show obvious significance for soil and water conservation. The Late Paleozoic is an important epoch of coal-bed accumulation in the North China, particularly in its western segment, where a world-class coal field has been found and exploited for three decades. Coal-bearing layers recorded rapid Late Carboniferous to Early Permian sea-level rise that led to the evolution of the shallow marine tidal flat basin, followed by regression that resulted in the formation of deltaic facies. However, little attention has been paid to the tectonic factors that assisted in the coal accumulation processes, which have been demonstrated worldwide to be pivotal. In this study, we evaluate the significant influence of southward subduction of the middle segment of the Paleo-Asian Ocean (PAO) during Carboniferous to Early Permian deposition of coal-bearing neritic to deltaic successions in the western North China Block (NCB). We pinpoint a direct link between basin-filling evolution of the northwestern Ordos Basin and the progressive uplift of the Inner Mongolia continental arc triggered by the south-dipping subduction of the Solonker ocean plate. Sedimentary facies variation and paleocurrent reconstruction indicate sedimentary routing from the north to northeast. The petrology and detrital zircon geochronology of sampled sandstones indicate evolving provenances from a dominated cratonic basement to a mixed orogen and continental arc. The Carboniferous samples are generally quartz arenites and contain a large number of Archean to Paleoproterozoic zircons with small amounts of Paleozoic arc pluton components, indicating sediment supply dominated by the western NCB Precambrian basement. In contrast, the youngest sample of the Shanxi Formation is sub-litharenite, the age spectrum of which is characterized by the dominance of ca. 450 and 270 Ma ages, indicative of a high influx of Paleozoic arc detritus. This shift in sandstone petrology, detrital zircon distribution, and depositional setting allows us to link the shoaling of the Ordos Basin with mountain building and the unroofing of the continental arc, which enhances our understanding of both the subduction of the PAO and coal accumulation in the NCB. Breast cancer has been the most common cancer in women worldwide, and metastasis is the leading cause of death from breast cancer. Even though the study of breast cancer metastasis has been extensively carried out, the molecular mechanism is still not fully understood, and diagnosis and prognosis need to be improved. Breast cancer metastasis is a complicated process involving multiple physiological changes, and lung, brain, bone and liver are the main metastatic targets. Exosomes are membrane-bound extracellular vesicles that contain secreted cellular constitutes. The biogenesis and functions of exosomes in cancer have been intensively studied, and mounting studies have indicated that exosomes play a crucial role in cancer metastasis. In this review, we summarize recent findings on the role of breast cancer-derived exosomes in metastasis organotropism and discuss the potential promising clinical applications of targeting exosomes as novel strategies for breast cancer diagnosis and therapy. The catalytic combustion has the advantage of lower auto-ignition temperature and helps to expand the combustible limit of lean premixed gas. However, the intake needs to be preheated to certain temperature commonly through an independent heat exchanger. Similar to the principles of non-catalytic RTO combustion, this paper presents a similar approach whereby the combustion chamber is replaced by a catalytic combustion bed. A new catalytic reactor integrated with a heat recuperator is designed to enhance the heat recirculation effect. Using a two-dimensional computational fluid dynamics model, the performance of the reactor is studied. The reaction performances of the traditional and compact reactors are compared and analyzed. Under the same conditions, the compact reactor has better reaction performance and heat recirculation effect, which can effectively decrease the ignition temperature of feed gas. The influences of the inlet velocity, the inlet temperature, the methane concentration, and the thermal conductivity of porous media on the reaction performance of integrated catalytic reactor are studied. The results show that the inlet velocity, inlet temperature, methane concentration, and thermal conductivity of porous media materials have important effects on the reactor performance and heat recirculation effect, and the thermal conductivity of porous media materials has the most obvious influence. Moreover, the reaction performance of multiunit integrated catalytic reactor is studied. The results show that the regenerative effect of multiunit integrated catalytic reactor is further enhanced. Sentinel-1 Terrain Observation by Progressive Scans (TOPS) data have been widely applied in earthquake studies due to their open-source policy, short revisit cycle and wide coverage. However, significant near-fault displacement gradients and the moderate azimuth resolution of TOPS data make achieving high-precision along-track measurements challenging, which prevents the generation of high-quality three-dimensional (3D) displacement maps. Here, we propose an integrated method to retrieve high-quality 3D displacements based on the differential interferometric SAR (DInSAR), burst-overlap interferometry (BOI), multiple-aperture InSAR (MAI) and pixel offset tracking (POT) techniques, which are achieved to use only two track Sentinel-1 TOPS data with different viewing geometries. The key step of this method is using a weighted fusion algorithm with the interpolated BOI-derived and MAI-derived 3D displacements. In a case study of the 2021 Maduo earthquake, the calculated root mean square errors (RMSEs) from global navigation satellite system (GNSS) data and the InSAR-derived 3D displacement fields were found to be 6.3, 5.8 and 1.7 cm in north–south, east–west and up–down components, respectively. Moreover, the slip model of the 2021 Maduo earthquake jointly estimated by DInSAR and BOI measurements indicates that this seismic event was dominated by sinistral strike-slip motion mixed with some dip-slip movements; the estimated seismic moment was 1.75 × 1020 Nm, corresponding to a Mw 7.44 event. Urban building morphology has a significant impact on the urban thermal environment (UTE). The sky view factor (SVF) is an important structure index of buildings and combines height and density attributes. These factors have impact on the land surface temperature (LST). Thus, it is crucial to analyze the relationship between SVF and LST in different spatial-temporal scales. Therefore, we tried to use a building vector database to calculate the SVF, and we used remote sensing thermal infrared band to retrieve LST. Then, we analyzed the influence between SVF and LST in different spatial and temporal scales, and we analyzed the seasonal variation, day–night variation, and the impact of building height and density of the SVF–LST relationship. We selected the core built-up area of Beijing as the study area and analyzed the SVF–LST relationship in four periods in 2018. The temporal experimental results indicated that LST is higher in the obscured areas than in the open areas at nighttime. In winter, the maximum mean LST is in the open areas. The spatial experimental results indicate that the SVF and LST relationship is different in the low SVF region, with 30 m and 90 m pixel scale in the daytime. This may be the shadow cooling effect around the buildings. In addition, we discussed the effects of building height and shading on the SVF–LST relationship, and the experimental results show that the average shading ratio is the largest at 0.38 in the mid-rise building area in winter. In order to achieve the United Nations 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) related to green spaces, monitoring dynamic urban green spaces (UGSs) in cities around the world is crucial. Continuous dynamic UGS mapping is challenged by large computation, time consumption, and energy consumption requirements. Therefore, a fast and automated workflow is needed to produce a high-precision UGS map. In this study, we proposed an automatic workflow to produce up-to-date UGS maps using Otsu's algorithm, a Random Forest (RF) classifier, and the migrating training samples method in the Google Earth Engine (GEE) platform. We took the central urban area of Beijing, China, as the study area to validate this method, and we rapidly obtained an annual UGS map of the central urban area of Beijing from 2016 to 2020. The accuracy assessment results showed that the average overall accuracy (OA) and kappa coefficient (KC) were 96.47% and 94.25%, respectively. Additionally, we used six indicators to measure quality and temporal changes in the UGS spatial distribution between 2016 and 2020. In particular, we evaluated the quality of UGS using the urban greenness index (UGI) and Shannon's diversity index (SHDI) at the pixel level. The experimental results indicate the following: (1) The UGSs in the center of Beijing increased by 48.62 km2 from 2016 to 2020, and the increase was mainly focused in Chaoyang, Fengtai, and Shijingshan Districts. (2) The average proportion of relatively high and above levels (UGI > 0.5) in six districts increased by 2.71% in the study area from 2016 to 2020, and this proportion peaked at 36.04% in 2018. However, our result revealed that the increase was non-linear during this assessment period. (3) Although there was no significant increase or decrease in SHDI values in the study area, the distribution of the SHDI displayed a noticeable fluctuation in the northwest, southwest, and northeast regions of the study area between 2016 and 2020. Furthermore, we discussed and analyzed the influence of population on the spatial distribution of UGSs. We found that three of the five cold spots were located in the east and southeast of Haidian District. Pulsars, especially X-ray pulsars detectable for small-size detectors, are highly accurate natural clocks suggesting potential applications such as interplanetary navigation control. Due to various complex cosmic background noise, the original pulsar signals, namely photon sequences, observed by detectors have low signal-to-noise ratios (SNRs) that obstruct the practical uses. This paper presents the pulsar denoising strategy developed based on the variational mode decomposition (VMD) approach. It is actually the initial work of our interplanetary navigation control research. The original pulsar signals are decomposed into intrinsic mode functions (IMFs) via VMD, by which the Gaussian noise contaminating the pulsar signals can be attenuated because of the filtering effect during signal decomposition and reconstruction. Comparison experiments based on both simulation and HEASARC-archived X-ray pulsar signals are carried out to validate the effectiveness of the proposed pulsar denoising strategy. Simple Summary: This study investigates the functional adaptation and underlying molecular mechanisms of hemoglobins (Hbs) in the two species of Eremias lizards dwelling on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. By measuring O2 equilibrium curves of purified Hbs at different pH and temperature in the absence and presence of ATP and/or Cl−, the study found that the high-altitude populations of the two species of Eremias lizards exhibit convergent high Hb-O2 affinity compared to the respective lowland counterparts while demonstrating distinct ATP-mediated allosteric regulation. Hbs of the highland E. argus showed high ATP sensitivity and ATP-dependent strong Bohr effect compared to E. multiocellata. The underlying mechanisms of these functional variations may be attributed to the varying β2/β1 globin ratios, combined with substitutions on the β2-type globin, as suggested by Hb isoform identification and structural analysis of tetrameric Hbs. In addition, Hbs of these Eremias lizards have similarly low temperature sensitivities and relatively high Bohr effects at lower temperatures, which could minimize the impact of temperature fluctuations on Hb-O2 affinity and facilitate the release of O2 in the cold extremities at low temperatures. This study aimed to investigate the convergent and species-specific high-altitude adaptation mechanisms of Hbs in two Eremias lizards from the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. The Hbs of high-altitude E. argus and E. multiocellata were characterized by significantly high overall and intrinsic Hb-O2 affinity compared to their low-altitude populations. Despite the similarly low Cl− sensitivities, the Hbs of high-altitude E. argus exhibited higher ATP sensitivity and ATP-dependent Bohr effects than that of E. multiocellata, which could facilitate O2 unloading in respiring tissues. Eremias lizards Hbs exhibited similarly low temperature sensitivities and relatively high Bohr effects at lower temperatures, which could help to stably deliver and release O2 to cold extremities at low temperatures. The oxygenation properties of Hbs in high-altitude populations might be attributed to varying ratios of β2/β1 globin and substitutions on the β2-type globin. Notably, the Asn12Ala in lowland E. argus could cause localized destabilization of the E-helix in the tetrameric Hb by elimination of hydrogen bonds, thereby resulting in its lowest O2 affinity. Fluid catalytic cracking (FCC) is still a key process in the modern refining area, in which nickel-contamination for an FCC catalyst could obviously increase the dry gas and coke yields and thus seriously affect the stability of the FCC unit. From the points of surface acidity modification and Ni-passivation, in this paper, a boron-modified FCC catalyst (BM-Cat) was prepared using the in situ addition method with B2O3 as a boron source and emphatically investigated its mechanism and performance of anti-nickel contamination. The mechanism research results suggested that, in calcination, boron could destroy the structure of the Y zeolite and thus decrease the total acid sites and strong acid sites of the Y zeolite from 291.5 and 44.6 μmol·g−1 to 244.2 and 32.1 μmol·g−1, respectively, which could obviously improve the dry gas and coke selectivity of the catalyst and thus enhance the nickel capacity for BM-Cat; on the other hand, under hydrothermal conditions, boron could react with NiO and form into NiB2O4, which could obviously raise the range of the reduction temperature for NiO from 350–600 °C to 650–800 °C and thus promote the nickel-passivation ability for BM-Cat. Therefore, evaluation results of heavy oil catalytic cracking indicated that, under the same nickel-contamination condition, in contrast to the compared catalyst (C-Cat), the dry gas yield, coke yield, and H2/CH4 of BM-Cat obviously decreased by 0.77 percentage points, 2.09 percentage points, and 13.53%, respectively, with light yield and total liquid yield increasing by 3.25 and 2.08 percentage points, respectively, which fully demonstrates the excellent anti-nickel contamination performance of BM-Cat. Human cytomegalovirus (HCMV) is a ubiquitous pathogen that threats the majority of the world's population. Poly (ADP-ribose) polymerase 1 (PARP-1) and protein poly (ADP-ribosyl)ation (PARylation) regulates manifold cellular functions. The role of PARP-1 and protein PARylation in HCMV infection is still unknown. In the present study, we found that the pharmacological and genetic inhibition of PARP-1 attenuated HCMV replication, and PARG inhibition favors HCMV replication. PARP-1 and its enzymatic activity were required for efficient HCMV replication. HCMV infection triggered the activation of PARP-1 and induced the translocation of PARP-1 from nucleus to cytoplasm. PARG was upregulated in HCMV-infected cells and this upregulation was independent of viral DNA replication. Moreover, we found that HCMV UL76, a true late protein of HCMV, inhibited the overactivation of PARP-1 through direct binding to the BRCT domain of PARP-1. In addition, UL76 also physically interacted with poly (ADP-ribose) (PAR) polymers through the RG/RGG motifs of UL76 which mediates its recruitment to DNA damage sites. Finally, PARP-1 inhibition or depletion potentiated HCMV-triggered induction of type I interferons. The traditional optical fiber-based twist sensing has the disadvantage of low sensitivity and difficulty of distinguishing the twist direction. Moreover, chiral isomerism may lead to sensing errors. In this paper, a six-hole helical microstructured optical fiber (HMSF) with a thin-gold-film-coat based on the surface plasmon resonance (SPR) effect was designed. The twist sensing characteristics of this fiber were further analyzed. Numerical calculation and analysis show that the combination of helical effect and SPR effect can design an HMSF-based sensor that is very sensitive to distortion. In the torsion range of ±300°, the distortion sensitivity can reach 2470.7 pm/(rad/m), and the linear correlation coefficient is 0.99996. Based on the special sensing mechanism, it has a good linear coefficient over a large range. Additionally, the direction of the twist can be easily discerned. The HMSF in this work not only has high sensitivity, high linearity, high fault tolerance rate, and a wide range of measurement, but is also easy to manufacture. We here present an example of the 2016 Kumamoto earthquake with its coseismic surface deformation mapped by the ALOS-2 satellite both in the right- and left-looking observation modes. It provides the opportunity to reveal the coseismic surface deformation and to explore the performance of the unusual left-looking data in faulting model inversion. Firstly, three tracks (ascending and descending right-looking and descending left-looking) of ALOS PALSAR-2 images are used to extract the surface deformation fields. It suggests that the displacements measured by the descending left-looking InSAR coincide well with the ascending right-looking track observations. Then, the location and strike angle of the fault are determined from the SAR pixel offset-tracking technique. A complicated four-segment fault geometry is inferred for explaining the coseismic faulting of the Kumamoto earthquake due to the interpretation of derived deformation fields. Quantitative comparisons between models constrained by the right-looking only data and by joint right- and left-looking data suggest that left-looking InSAR could provide comparable constraints for geodetic modelling to right-looking InSAR. Furthermore, the slip model suggests that the series of events are dominated by the dextral strike-slip with some normal fault motions. The fault rupture initiates on the Hinagu fault segment and propagates from southwest to northeast along the Hinagu fault, then transforms to Futagawa fault with a slip maximum of 4.96 m, and finally ends up at ~7 km NW of the Aso caldera, with a rupture length of ~55 km. The talent of left-looking InSAR in surface deformation detection and coseismic faulting inversion indicates that left-looking InSAR can be effectively utilized in the investigation of the geologic hazards in the future, same as right-looking InSAR. This paper studies the yield behavior of a woven carbon-fiber-reinforced silicon-matrix (C/SiC) composite under dynamic tensile loading. Experiments were carried out to obtain the tensile properties of the C/SiC composite at a strain rate range of 2 × 10−5/s to 99.4/s. A strain-rate-dependent yield criterion based on the distortional strain energy density theory is established to describe the yield behavior. The interval uncertainty is considered for a more reliable yield prediction. Experimental results show that the yield stress, elastic modulus, and yield strain of the C/SiC composite grow with the increasing strain rate. The failure mode transitions from progressive crack extension to uneven fiber bundle breakage. The predicted results by the yield criterion match well with experimental data. Experimental results are enveloped within the uncertainty level of 45% in the critical distortional energy density, corresponding to an uncertainty of 14% and 11% in the yield stress and yield strain, respectively. With the support of the proposed strain-rate-dependent yield criterion, the yield behavior of the C/SiC composite under dynamic loading conditions can be predicted with reasonable accuracy. As a new energy source, gas hydrates have attracted worldwide attention, but their exploration and development face enormous challenges. Thus, it has become increasingly crucial to identify hydrate distribution accurately. Electrical resistivity tomography (ERT) can be used to detect the distribution of hydrate deposits. An ERT inversion network (ERTInvNet) based on a deep neural network (DNN) is proposed, with strong learning and memory capabilities to solve the ERT nonlinear inversion problem. 160,000 samples about hydrate distribution are generated by numerical simulation, of which 10% are used for testing. The impact of different deep learning parameters (such as loss function, activation function, and optimizer) on the performance of ERT inversion is investigated to obtain a more accurate hydrate distribution. When the Logcosh loss function is enabled in ERTInvNet, the average correlation coefficient (CC) and relative error (RE) of all samples in the test sets are 0.9511 and 0.1098. The results generated by Logcosh are better than MSE, MAE, and Huber. ERTInvNet with Selu activation function can better learn the nonlinear relationship between voltage and resistivity. Its average CC and RE of all samples in the test set are 0.9449 and 0.2301, the best choices for Relu, Selu, Leaky_Relu, and Softplus. Compared with Adadelta, Adagrad, and Aadmax, Adam has the best performance in ERTInvNet with the optimizer. Its average CC and RE of all samples in the test set are 0.9449 and 0.2301, respectively. As a future clean energy resource, the exploration and exploitation of natural gas hydrate are favorable for solving the energy crisis and improving environmental pollution. Detecting the spatial distribution of natural gas hydrate in the reservoir is of great importance in natural gas hydrate exploration and exploitation. Fracture-filling hydrate, one of the most common types of gas hydrate, usually appears as a massive or layered accumulation below the seafloor. This paper aims to detect the spatial distribution variation of fracture-filling hydrate in sediments using the electrical property in the laboratory. Massive hydrate and layered hydrate are formed in the electrical resistivity tomography device with a cylindrical array. Based on the electrical resistivity tomography data during the hydrate formation process, the three-dimensional resistivity images of the massive hydrate and layered hydrate are established by using finite element forward, Gauss–Newton inversion, and inverse distance weighted interpolation. Massive hydrate is easier to identify than layered hydrate because of the big difference between the massive hydrate area and surrounding sediments. The diffusion of salt ions in sediments makes the boundary of massive hydrate and layered hydrate change with hydrate formation. The average resistivity values of massive hydrate (50 Ω ⋅ m ) and layered hydrate (1.4 Ω ⋅ m ) differ by an order of magnitude due to the difference in the morphology of the fracture. Compared with the theoretical resistivity, it is found that the resistivity change of layered hydrate is in accordance with the change tendency of the theoretical value. The formation characteristic of massive hydrate is mainly affected by the pore water distribution and pore microstructure of hydrate. The hydrate formation does not necessarily cause the increase in resistivity, but the increase of resistivity must be due to the formation of hydrate. The decrease of resistivity in fine-grains is not obvious due to the cation adsorption of clay particles. These results provide a feasible approach to characterizing the resistivity and growth characteristics of fracture-filling hydrate reservoirs and provide support for the in-situ visual detection of fracture-filling hydrate. Boosting of the ensemble learning model has made great progress, but most of the methods are Boosting the single mode. For this reason, based on the simple multiclass enhancement framework that uses local similarity as a weak learner, it is extended to multimodal multiclass enhancement Boosting. With rapid urbanization, the disposal and management of urban construction waste have become the main concerns of urban management. The distribution of urban construction waste is characterized by its wide range, irregularity, and ease of confusion with the surrounding ground objects, such as bare soil, buildings, and vegetation. Therefore, it is difficult to extract and identify information related to urban construction waste by using the traditional single spectral feature analysis method due to the problem of spectral confusion between construction waste and the surrounding ground objects, especially in the context of very-high-resolution (VHR) remote sensing images. Considering the multi-feature analysis method for VHR remote sensing images, we propose an optimal method that combines morphological indexing and hierarchical segmentation to extract the information on urban construction waste in VHR images. By comparing the differences between construction waste and the surrounding ground objects in terms of the spectrum, geometry, texture, and other features, we selected an optimal feature subset to improve the separability of the construction waste and other objects; then, we established a classification model of knowledge rules to achieve the rapid and accurate extraction of construction waste information. We also chose two experimental areas of Beijing to validate our algorithm. By using construction waste separability quality evaluation indexes, the identification accuracy of construction waste in the two study areas was determined to be 96.6% and 96.2%, the separability indexes of the construction waste and buildings reached 1.000, and the separability indexes of the construction waste and vegetation reached 1.000 and 0.818. The experimental results show that our method can accurately identify the exposed construction waste and construction waste covered with a dust screen, and it can effectively solve the problem of spectral confusion between the construction waste and the bare soil, buildings, and vegetation. Therefore, taking Deqing as an example, this paper uses geographic statistics and spatial analysis methods to quantitatively evaluate and visualize public open spaces in the built area in 2016 and analyzes the spatial pattern and relationship of the population. The results show that the public open spaces in the built-up area of Deqing have typical global and local spatial autocorrelation. The spatial pattern shows obvious differences in different parts of the built area and attributes of public open spaces. According to the results of correlation analysis, it can be seen that the decentralized characteristics of public open spaces have a significant relationship with the population agglomeration, and this correlation is also related to the types of public open spaces. The assessment results by SDG 11.7.1 indicate that the public open spaces in the built-up area of Deqing conform to the living needs of residents on the whole and have a humanized space design and good accessibility. However, the per capita public open spaces of towns and villages outside the built area are relatively low, and there is an imbalance in public open spaces. This paper presents a practical and straightforward control strategy for robotic manipulators with unknown dynamics to achieve prescribed tracking performance, which has implementation advantages compared with previous work. In particular, an improved extended state observer (ESO) synthesized with a continuously differentiable friction model and time-varying gains is presented to estimate system states and unknown dynamics. This ESO outperforms the conventional ones in dealing with friction mutations while avoiding peaking estimation values in the initial stage. By combining the prescribed performance function and the proposed ESO, an independent joint control scheme is proposed for a robotic manipulator to keep the tracking error within a predefined performance bound based only on position measurements. The effectiveness of the proposed control scheme is verified by comparative simulation and experimental results on a six-degrees-of-freedom robotic manipulator with active disturbance rejection controller and PID methods. Cellulose crystallinity is a crucial factor influencing stem strength and, consequently, wheat lodging. However, the genetic dissection of cellulose crystallinity is less reported due to the difficulty of its measurement. In this study, VIS/NIR spectra and cellulose crystallinity were measured for a wheat accession panel with diverse genetic backgrounds. We developed a reliable VIS/NIR model for cellulose crystallinity with a high determination coefficient (R2) (0.95) and residual prediction deviation (RPD) (4.04), enabling the rapid screening of wheat samples. A GWAS of the cellulose crystallinity in 326 wheat accessions revealed 14 significant SNPs and 13 QTLs. Two candidate genes, TraesCS4B03G0029800 and TraesCS5B03G1085500, were identified. In summary, this study establishes an efficient method for the measurement of cellulose crystallinity in wheat stems and provides a genetic basis for enhancing lodging resistance in wheat. Tectonically deformed coal (TDC) has a significant influence on coalbed methane recovery. Well-logging is a reliable and efficient way to predict the development of TDCs for understanding the role of TDC on the productivity of coalbed methane (CBM) wells. However, there has been insufficient research regarding both the static physical properties and dynamic invasion of mud-filtrate related to TDCs. Therefore, a new TDC-detecting approach using two indicators of the relative physical properties and fluid attributes was proposed. Through the data normalization and optimization of correlation coefficients and factor analysis, five logs were chosen to construct the two indicators, and three types of TDC were recognized: I—undeformed or cataclastic; II—granulated; and III—mylonitized. It was found out that the identification error rate decreased from 30% to 15%. Furthermore, the thickness ratio of a well-preserved coal layer derived from TDC interpretation was adopted to correlate the gas production of a coal seam. An application in the Hancheng block demonstrated that the thickness ratio of 60% is an explicit threshold value to distinguish between high-yield well (>1000 m3/d) and low-yield one (<750 m3/d). Over the 15 years of the Gravity Recovery and Climate Experiment (GRACE) mission, various data processing approaches were developed to derive time-series of global gravity fields based on sensor observations acquired from the two spacecrafts. In this paper, we compare GRACE-based mass anomalies provided by various processing groups against Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) station coordinate time-series and in-situ observations of ocean bottom pressure. In addition to the conventional GRACE-based global geopotential models from the main processing centers, we focus particularly on combined gravity field solutions generated within the Horizon2020 project European Gravity Service for Improved Emergency Management (EGSIEM). Although two validation techniques are fully independent from each other, it is demonstrated that they confirm each other to a large extent. Through the validation, we show that the EGSIEM combined long-term monthly solutions are comparable to CSR RL05 and ITSG2016, and better than the other three considered GRACE monthly solutions AIUB RL02, GFZ RL05a, and JPL RL05.1. Depending on the GNSS products, up to 25.6% mean Weighted Root-Mean-Square (WRMS) reduction is obtained when comparing GRACE to the ITRF2014 residuals over 236 GNSS stations. In addition, we also observe remarkable agreement at the annual period between GNSS and GRACE with up to 73% median WRMS reduction when comparing GRACE to the 312 EGSIEM-reprocessed GNSS time series. While the correspondence between GRACE and ocean bottom pressure data is overall much smaller due to lower signal to noise ratio over the oceans than over the continents, up to 50% agreement is found between them in some regions. Stem rot caused by Sclerotinia sclerotiorum poses a significant threat to global agriculture, leading to substantial economic losses. To explore innovative integrated pest management strategies and elucidate the underlying mechanisms, this study examined the impact of nano-silicon on enhancing resistance to Sclerotinia sclerotiorum in Brassica napus. Bacteriostatic assays revealed that nano-silicon effectively inhibited the mycelial growth of Sclerotinia sclerotiorum in a dose-dependent manner. Field trials corroborated the utility of nano-silicon as a fertilizer, substantially bolstering resistance in the Brassica napus cultivar Xiangyou 420. Specifically, the disease index was reduced by 39–52% across three distinct geographical locations when compared to untreated controls. This heightened resistance was attributed to nano-silicon's role in promoting the accumulation of essential elements such as silicon (Si), potassium (K), and calcium (Ca), while concurrently reducing sodium (Na) absorption. Furthermore, nano-silicon was found to elevate the levels of soluble sugars and lignin, while reducing cellulose content in both leaves and stems. It also enhanced the activity levels of antioxidant enzymes. Transcriptomic analysis revealed 22,546 differentially expressed genes in Si-treated Brassica napus post-Sclerotinia inoculation, with the most pronounced transcriptional changes observed one day post-inoculation. Weighted gene co-expression network analysis identified a module comprising 45 hub genes that are implicated in signaling, transcriptional regulation, metabolism, and defense mechanisms. In summary, nano-silicon confers resistance to Brassica napus against Sclerotinia sclerotiorum by modulating biochemical defenses, enhancing antioxidative activities, and rapidly reprogramming key resistance-associated genes. The purpose of this study is to analyze the reliability of predictive models for higher heating values related to organic materials. A theoretical model was developed, which utilizes bond dissociation energies (BDEs) to establish correlations between elemental composition and calorific values. Our analysis indicates that the energy contribution of one mole of hydrogen atoms is approximately equal to −144.4 kJ mol−1. Further investigation reveals significant variations in the bond dissociation energies of carbon atoms within organic compounds, resulting in a range of energy outputs from −414.30 to −275.34 kJ mol−1 per mole of carbon atoms. The presence of oxygen atoms in organic compounds has a negative impact on the magnitude of combustion heat, with values ranging from 131.1 to 207.17 kJ mol−1. The combustion mechanism imposes certain constraints, leading to the equation HHVg = −31.34·[C] − 144.44·[H] + 10.57·[O] for organic compounds. Based on the parameter sensitivity analysis, the coefficient associated with carbon mass fraction exhibits a significantly greater impact on result prediction accuracy, demonstrating a sensitivity value of 92.65%. The results of further analysis indicate that empirical correlations involving the mass fractions of the elements N and S in lignocellulosic materials may be prone to over-fitting, with sensitivity indices of 1.59% and 0.016%, respectively. Doublecortin-like kinase 1 (DCLK1) is a prominent kinase involved in carcinogenesis, serving as a diagnostic marker for early cancer detection and prevention, as well as a target for cancer therapy. Extensive research efforts have been dedicated to understanding its role in cancer development and designing selective inhibitors. In our previous work, we successfully determined the crystal structure of DCLK1 while it was bound to its autoinhibitory domain (AID) at the active site. By analyzing this structure, we were able to uncover the intricate molecular mechanisms behind specific cancer-causing mutations in DCLK1. Utilizing molecular dynamics simulations, we discovered that these mutations disrupt the smooth assembly of the AID, particularly affecting the R2 helix, into the kinase domain (KD). This disruption leads to the exposure of the D533 residue of the DFG (Asp-Phe-Gly) motif in the KD, either through steric hindrance, the rearrangement of electrostatic interactions, or the disruption of local structures in the AID. With these molecular insights, we conducted a screening process to identify potential small-molecule inhibitors that could bind to DCLK1 through an alternative binding mode. To assess the binding affinity of these inhibitors to the KD of DCLK1, we performed calculations on their binding energy and conducted SPR experiments. Intramuscular fat (IMF) content is a key determinant of pork quality. Controlling the genetic and physiological factors of IMF and the expression patterns of various genes is important for regulating the IMF content and improving meat quality in pig breeding. Growing evidence has suggested the role of genetic factors and breeds in IMF deposition; however, research on the sex factors of IMF deposition is still lacking. The present study aimed to identify potential sex-specific biomarkers strongly associated with IMF deposition in low- and high-IMF pig populations. The GSE144780 expression dataset of IMF deposition-related genes were obtained from the Gene Expression Omnibus. Initially, differentially expressed genes (DEGs) were detected in male and female low-IMF (162 DEGs, including 64 up- and 98 down-regulated genes) and high-IMF pigs (202 DEGs, including 147 up- and 55 down-regulated genes). Moreover, hub genes were screened via PPI network construction. Furthermore, hub genes were screened for potential sex-specific biomarkers using the least absolute shrinkage and selection operator machine learning algorithm, and sex-specific biomarkers in low-IMF (troponin I (TNNI1), myosin light chain 9(MYL9), and serpin family C member 1(SERPINC1)) and high-IMF pigs (CD4 molecule (CD4), CD2 molecule (CD2), and amine oxidase copper-containing 2(AOC2)) were identified, and then verified by quantitative real-time PCR (qRT-PCR) in semimembranosus muscles. Additionally, the gene set enrichment analysis and single-sample gene set enrichment analysis of hallmark gene sets were collectively performed on the identified biomarkers. Finally, the transcription factor-biomarker and lncRNA-miRNA-mRNA (biomarker) networks were predicted. Antibody-dependent enhancement of infection (ADE) is clinically relevant to Dengue virus (DENV) infection and poses a major risk to the application of monoclonal antibody (mAb)-based therapeutics against related flaviviruses such as the Zika virus (ZIKV). Here, we tested a two-tier approach for selecting non-cross-reactive mAbs combined with modulating Fc glycosylation as a strategy to doubly secure the elimination of ADE while preserving Fc effector functions. To this end, we selected a ZIKV-specific mAb (ZV54) and generated three ZV54 variants using Chinese hamster ovary cells and wild-type (WT) and glycoengineered ΔXF Nicotiana benthamiana plants as production hosts (ZV54CHO, ZV54WT, and ZV54ΔXF). The three ZV54 variants shared an identical polypeptide backbone, but each exhibited a distinct Fc N-glycosylation profile. All three ZV54 variants showed similar neutralization potency against ZIKV but no ADE activity for DENV infection, validating the importance of selecting the virus/serotype-specific mAbs for avoiding ADE by related flaviviruses. For ZIKV infection, however, ZV54CHO and ZV54ΔXF showed significant ADE activity while ZV54WT completely forwent ADE, suggesting that Fc glycan modulation may yield mAb glycoforms that abrogate ADE even for homologous viruses. In contrast to the current strategies for Fc mutations that abrogate all effector functions along with ADE, our approach allowed the preservation of effector functions as all ZV54 glycovariants retained antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC) against the ZIKV-infected cells. Furthermore, the ADE-free ZV54WT demonstrated in vivo efficacy in a ZIKV-infection mouse model. Collectively, our study provides further support for the hypothesis that antibody–viral surface antigen and Fc-mediated host cell interactions are both prerequisites for ADE, and that a dual-approach strategy, as shown herein, contributes to the development of highly safe and efficacious anti-ZIKV mAb therapeutics. This study aimed to investigate the impact of corrosion on the microstructure and tensile properties of 7075 high-strength alloy. It involved outdoor exposure tests in an actual marine atmospheric environment in Wanning, Hainan Province. The results showed that the 7075 alloy was corroded rapidly in the marine atmospheric environment, and corrosion pits and intergranular cracks were generated. The intergranular cracks were extended along the grain boundary during corrosion, leading to the exfoliation of the matrix. The cause for the intergranular corrosion was discussed based on the microstructure characteristics of 7075 alloy. The tensile properties of the 7075 alloy gradually deteriorated with the increase of exposure time in the marine atmospheric environment. Lithium–sulfur batteries have emerged as one of the promising next-generation energy storage devices. However, the dissolution and shuttling of polysulfides in the electrolyte leads to a rapid decrease in capacity, severe self-discharge, and poor high-temperature performance. Here, we demonstrate the design and preparation of a Mo2C nanoparticle-embedded carbon nanosheet matrix material (Mo2C/C) and its application in lithium–sulfur battery separator modification. As a polar catalyst, Mo2C/C can effectively adsorb and promote the reversible conversion of lithium polysulfides, suppress the shuttle effect, and improve the electrochemical performance of the battery. The lithium–sulfur battery with the Mo2C/C =-modified separator showed a good rate of performance with high specific capacities of 1470 and 799 mAh g−1 at 0.1 and 2 C, respectively. In addition, the long-cycle performance of only 0.09% decay per cycle for 400 cycles and the stable cycling under high sulfur loading indicate that the Mo2C/C-modified separator holds great promise for the development of high-energy-density lithium–sulfur batteries. Despite progress in the past decades, 3D shape acquisition techniques are still a threshold for various 3D face-based applications and have therefore attracted extensive research. Moreover, advanced 2D data generation models based on deep networks may not be directly applicable to 3D objects because of the different dimensionality of 2D and 3D data. In this work, we propose two novel sampling methods to represent 3D faces as matrix-like structured data that can better fit deep networks, namely (1) a geometric sampling method for the structured representation of 3D faces based on the intersection of iso-geodesic curves and radial curves, and (2) a depth-like map sampling method using the average depth of grid cells on the front surface. The above sampling methods can bridge the gap between unstructured 3D face models and powerful deep networks for an unsupervised generative 3D face model. In particular, the above approaches can obtain the structured representation of 3D faces, which enables us to adapt the 3D faces to the Deep Convolution Generative Adversarial Network (DCGAN) for 3D face generation to obtain better 3D faces with different expressions. We demonstrated the effectiveness of our generative model by producing a large variety of 3D faces with different expressions using the two novel down-sampling methods mentioned above.
