Based on service-dominant logic and service quality theory, this study explores the influence mechanism of customer participation on value co-creation of service-oriented enterprises. Employing a quantitative approach, the study utilized a questionnaire survey administered to 400 participants, examining the mediating and moderating effects of platform service quality and digital technology. The research results indicate that all three dimensions of customer participation have a significant positive impact on the value co-creation of service-oriented enterprises. Customer participation can also have a significant positive impact on the value co-creation of service-oriented enterprises through the mediating variable of platform service quality. Digital technology plays a significant positive moderating role between customer participation and platform service quality, as well as between platform service quality and value co-creation of service-oriented enterprises. At present, a prevalent approach to speaker diarization is clustering based on speaker embeddings. However, this method encounters two primary issues. Firstly, it cannot directly minimize the diarization error during the training process; secondly, the majority of clustering-based methods struggle to handle speaker overlap in audio. A viable approach for addressing these issues involves adopting end-to-end speaker diarization (EEND). Nevertheless, training this EEND system generally requires lengthy audio inputs, which must be downsampled to allow efficient model processing. In this study, we develop a novel downsampling layer using blueprint separable convolution (BSConv) instead of depthwise separable convolution (DSC) as the foundational convolutional unit, which effectively preserves information from the original audio. Furthermore, we incorporate multi-scale feature aggregation (MFA) into the encoder structure to combine the features extracted by each conformer block to the output layer, consequently enhancing the expressiveness of the model's feature extraction. Lastly, we employ the conformer as the backbone network to incorporate the proposed enhancements, resulting in an EEND system named BSAC-EEND. We assess our suggested methodology on both simulated and real datasets. The experiment indicates that our proposed EEND system reduces diarization error rate (DER) by an average of 17.3% for two-speaker datasets and 12.8% for three-speaker datasets compared to the baseline. Introduction: Internal migrant workers have a great chance to experience defeat due to their low social status and economic situation. It has been reported that defeat might play a prospective role in predicting depression and anxiety; however, defeat is rarely explored among internal migrant workers due to the lack of appropriate measurement scales. The defeat scale (DS) can measure the feeling of defeat, social hierarchy reduction, and loss in social struggle. But its reliability and validity among internal migrant workers have not been reported. This study aimed to verify the content validity and structural validity of the DS among internal migrant workers in China and to explore its correlations with anxiety and depression. Methods: 1805 internal migrant workers (IMWs) were recruited by stratified multistage sampling from 16 factories in Shenzhen, China. The content validity index (CVI) was used to assess content validity. Cronbach's coefficient alpha of each factor and the total scale were calculated to assess the reliability of DS. The scree test was used to determine the number of factors. Convergent validity and discriminant validity were estimated by calculating the average variance extracted and composite reliability. Logistic regression was performed to explore the effects of DS scores on anxiety and depression. Results: Mean score of DS among IMWs was 18.42 ± 9.40. There were 606 (33.6%) IMWs who were considered to have depression symptoms, and 524 (29.0%) IMWs were considered to have anxiety symptoms. A two-factor model was obtained and fitted well (CFI = 0.956, GFI = 0.932, IFI = 0.956, RMSEA = 0.068, SRMR = 0.052). Cronbach's alpha reliability coefficient for the DS was 0.92. Logistic regression showed that DS scores were positively associated with anxiety and depression among IMWs. Conclusions: DS performed well among IMWs on content validity and structural validity, and it was suitable as a measurement instrument to assess defeat among this population. China is considering to offer COVID-19 vaccination for children aged 6–35 months. This study investigated the changes in COVID-19 vaccine acceptability and associated factors among parents with children aged 6–35 months in 2020 and 2021. Two rounds of cross-sectional online surveys were conducted among adult factory workers in Shenzhen, China. A subset of 208 (first round) and 229 (second round) parents with at least one child aged 6–35 months was included in the study. Parental acceptability of COVID-19 vaccination increased significantly from 66.8% in the first round to 79.5% in the second round (p = 0.01). Positive attitudes, perceived subjective norm, and perceived behavioral control were associated with higher parental acceptability in both rounds of surveys (p values ranged from <0.001 to 0.003). A negative association of negative attitudes with parental acceptability was observed in the second round (p = 0.02). No significant associations of exposure to information related to COVID-19 vaccination on social media with parental acceptability was found in either round of survey. Expanding the existing COVID-19 vaccination programs to cover children aged 6–35 months is necessary in China. China started to implement COVID-19 vaccination programs for children in July 2021. This study investigated the changes in parents' COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy for children before and after the vaccination program rollout. Repeated cross-sectional online surveys among full-time adult factory workers were conducted in Shenzhen, China. This analysis was based on 844 (first round) and 1213 parents (second round) who had at least one child aged 3–17 years. The prevalence of vaccine hesitancy for children aged 3–11 years dropped from 25.9% (first round) to 17.4% (second round), while such a prevalence for children aged 12–17 years dropped from 26.0% (first round) to 3.5% (second round) (p < 0.001). Positive attitudes, a perceived subjective norm, and perceived behavioral control related to children's COVID-19 vaccination were associated with lower vaccine hesitancy in both rounds. In the second round and among parents with children aged 3–11 years, negative attitudes and exposure to information on SARS-CoV-2 infection after receiving a primary vaccine series were associated with higher vaccine hesitancy, while exposure to experiences shared by vaccine recipients and infectiousness of variants of concern were associated with lower vaccine hesitancy. Three novel cyclic hexapeptides, sclerotides C–E (1–3), and a new lipodepsipeptide, scopularide I (4), together with a known cyclic hexapeptide sclerotide A (5), were isolated from fermented rice cultures of a soft coral-derived fungus: Aspergillus sclerotiorum SCSIO 41031. The structures of the new peptides were determined by 1D and 2D NMR spectroscopic analysis, Marfey's method, ESIMS/MS analysis, and single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. Scopularide I (4) exhibited acetylcholinesterase inhibitory activity with an IC50 value of 15.6 μM, and weak cytotoxicity against the human nasopharyngeal carcinoma cell line HONE-EBV with IC50 value of 10.1 μM. Since China's launch of the COVID-19 vaccination, the situation of the public, especially the mobile population, has not been optimistic. We investigated 782 factory workers for whether they would get a COVID-19 vaccine within the next 6 months. The participants were divided into a training set and a testing set for external validation conformed to a ratio of 3:1 with R software. The variables were screened by the Lead Absolute Shrinkage and Selection Operator (LASSO) regression analysis. Then, the prediction model, including important variables, used a multivariate logistic regression analysis and presented as a nomogram. The Receiver Operating Characteristic (ROC) curve, Kolmogorov–Smirnov (K-S) test, Lift test and Population Stability Index (PSI) were performed to test the validity and stability of the model and summarize the validation results. Only 45.54% of the participants had vaccination intentions, while 339 (43.35%) were unsure. Four of the 16 screened variables—self-efficacy, risk perception, perceived support and capability—were included in the prediction model. The results indicated that the model has a high predictive power and is highly stable. Background: the cool-season grass Achnatherum inebrians (drunken horse grass) is an important species in the northwest grasslands of China. This grass engages in a symbiotic relationship with Epichloë endophytes, which affect host plants by increasing growth, repelling herbivores, and increasing tolerance to stressful environments. Methods: in this work, we evaluated the interaction effects of the endophyte on various dormancy-breaking treatments on A. inebrians seeds from six different locations. We used both endophyte-infected plants and noninfected plants and applied four dormancy-breaking methods to test germination. Results: our results showed that the germination rate of endophytic Achnatherum inebrians seeds from the Xiahe site (with highest altitude) was significantly higher than that from other sites when water soaking was applied (p < 0.05). Endophytic seeds had a greater germination rate, and soluble sugar, indole acetic acid (IAA), and gibberellin (GA) contents, under any condition. There was a significant interaction among the method, endophyte status, and origin regarding germination (p < 0.001); particularly, the effects of warm water soaking and endophyte infection on the germination of seeds from the Xiahe site was significant (p < 0.05). Conclusions: the infection of Epichloë endophyte is able to increase the content of soluble sugar, IAA, and GA, and stimulate the seed germination of A. inebrians. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Simple Summary: Our study found that miR-152 functions in bovine myoblasts to inhibit proliferation. Our prediction and experimental verification revealed that Kruppel-Like Factor 6 (KLF6) is a direct target gene of miR-152. Therefore, miR-152 and its target gene KLF6 have certain effects on the development of bovine skeletal muscles. Though miRNAs have been reported to regulate bovine myoblast proliferation, but many miRNAs still need to be further explored. Specifically, miR-152 is a highly expressed miRNA in cattle skeletal muscle tissues, but its function in skeletal muscle development is unknown. Herein, we aimed to investigate the role of miR-152 in regulating bovine myoblast proliferation. Functionally, RT-qPCR, Western blotting, EdU assay, and flow cytometry detection results showed that miR-152 inhibited bovine myoblast proliferation. Mechanistically, we demonstrated transcription factor KLF6 was a target gene of miR-152 by means of bioinformatics software prediction and dual-luciferase report analysis, which had been demonstrated to be favorable for myoblast proliferation. Highly efficient drug delivery systems with excellent tumor selectivity and minimal toxicity to normal tissues remain challenging for tumor treatment. Although great effort has been made to prolong the blood circulation and improve the delivery efficiency to tumor sites, nanomedicines are rarely approved for clinical application. Bacteria have the inherent properties of homing to solid tumors, presenting themselves as promising drug delivery systems. Escherichia coli Nissle 1917 (EcN) is a commonly used probiotic in clinical practice. Its facultative anaerobic property drives it to selectively colonize in the hypoxic area of the tumor for survival and reproduction. EcN can be engineered as a bacteria-based microrobot for molecular imaging, drug delivery, and gene delivery. This review summarizes the progress in EcN-mediated tumor imaging and therapy and discusses the prospects and challenges for its clinical application. Alginate oligosaccharides (AOS) are known for functions in regulating plant growth and stress resistance. This study investigated the damage on rice leaves caused by acid rain (AR) and high temperature (HT) simultaneously, as well as the alleviating effect of AOS on these stresses. The results show that plant biomass and antioxidant enzyme activities (AEAs) after AR treatment reduced more severely under HT conditions than normal-temperature conditions. Both AR and HT triggered the accumulation of reactive oxygen species (ROS) in rice leaves. The suppressing effects of AR and HT were individual in most cases, except for AEAs. Microscopic analysis showed that pH 2 AR and HT injured leaf epidermis, particularly the bulliform cells, the veins and interveinal regions. Spraying AOS resulted in a slight elevation of biomass, a significant increase in AEAs and a remarkable decline in ROS concentrations under HT conditions with AR. Besides, the chlorophyll a contents of a leaf after pH 2 AR plus AOS treatment under HT conditions remained 66.1% of that after pH 7 treatment under normal-temperature conditions. Moreover, AOS protected the integrity of leaf tissue even after pH 3 treatment. Taken together, the above results suggest that AR and HT inhibited AEAs, led to the accumulation of ROS and damaged rice leaf. Research Highlights: For the first time, the complete chloroplast (cp) genome of Carya illinoinensis cv. 'Pawnee' was de novo assembled. Comprehensive analysis the cp genome of C. illinoinensis revealed potential cpDNA markers for intraspecies identification, genes involved in adaptation, and its phylogenetic position. Background and Objectives:C. illinoinensis is an economically important nut tree in the family Juglandaceae. Cp-derived markers are helpful for genetic research, but they still need to be developed in C. illinoinensis. Additionally, the adaptation and phylogenetic relationships of C. illinoinensis have not been revealed based on the complete cp genome. Materials and Methods: Chloroplast genomic DNA of C. illinoinensis cv. 'Pawnee' was extracted and subjected to Illumina sequencing. Results: The cp genome is 160,819 bp in size, exhibiting a typical quadripartite structure with a large single copy (LSC) of 90,022 bp, a small single copy (SSC) of 18,791 bp, and a pair of inverted repeats (IRA and IRB) regions of 26,003 bp each. The genome was predicted to encode 112 unique genes, including 79 protein-coding genes, 29 tRNAs, and four rRNAs, with 19 duplicates in the IR regions. In total, 213 SSRs and 44 long repeats were identified in the cp genome. A comparison of two different C. illinoinensis genotypes, 'Pawnee' and 87MX3-2.11, obtained 143 SNPs and 74 indels. The highly variable regions such as atpF, clpP, and ndhA genes, and matK-rps16, trnS-trnG, and trnT-psbD intergenic spacers might be helpful for future intraspecific identification. Positive selection was acting on the ccsA and rps12 cp genes based on the Ka/Ks ratios. Phylogenetic analysis indicated that C. illinoinensis forms a sister clade to Asian Carya species, represented by C. kweichowensis and Annamocarya sinensis.
