The study of the polarimetric target decomposition algorithm with physical scattering models has contributed to the development of the field of remote sensing because of its simple and clear physical meaning with a small computational effort. However, most of the volume scattering models in these algorithms are for forests or crops, and there is a lack of volume scattering models for grasslands. In order to improve the accuracy of the polarimetric target decomposition algorithm adapted to grassland data, in this paper, a novel volume scattering model is derived considering the characteristics of real grassland plant structure and combined with the backward scattering coefficients of grass, which is abstracted as a rotatable ellipsoid of variable shape. In the process of rotation, the possibility of rotation is considered in two dimensions, the tilt angle and canting angle; for particle shape, the anisotropy degree A is directly introduced as a parameter to describe and expand the applicability of the model at the same time. After obtaining the analytical solution of the parameters and using the principle of least negative power to determine the optimal solution of the model, the algorithm is validated by applying it to the C-band AirBorne dataset of Hunshandak grassland in Inner Mongolia and the X-band Cosmos-Skymed dataset of Xiwuqi grassland in Inner Mongolia. The performance of the algorithm with five polarimetric target decomposition algorithms is studied comparatively. The experimental results show that the algorithm proposed in this paper outperforms the other algorithms in terms of grassland decomposition accuracy on different bands of data. As a new vector insect of pine wood nematodes in China, the Monochamus saltuarius (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae) vectors pine wilt nematodes into healthy pine trees through feeding and oviposition, resulting in huge economic losses to forestry. A promising control strategy is to develop safe and efficient attractants. This study aims to screen for the key active volatiles of Pinus koraiensis (Pinales: Pinaceae), Pinus tabuliformis (Pinales: Pinaceae), and Picea asperata (Pinales: Pinaceae) that can attract M. saltuarius, and to study the synergistic attraction of the main attractant plant volatiles with ethanol and insect aggregation pheromones. The preference of M. saltuarius for three hosts is P. koraiensis > P. tabuliformis > Picea asperata. We detected 18 organic volatiles from three host plants. Through EAG assays and indoor Y-tube behavioral experiments, 3-carene, (-)-camphor, β-pinene, α-phellandrene, terpinolene, α-pinene, D-limonene, and myrcene were screened to have attractive effects on M. saltuarius. We found that 3-carene, β-pinene, and α-pinene are the most attractive kairomones in field experiments, which may play a crucial role in the host localization of M. saltuarius. Ethanol has a synergistic effect on the attractant activity of 3-carene and β-pinene, and the synergistic effect on β-pinene is the best. The mixture of ethanol, 2-undecyloxy-1-ethanol, and ipsdienol can significantly enhance the attraction effect of β-pinene on M. saltuarius. Incorporating graphene as ceramic additives can significantly enhance both the toughness and self-lubricating characteristics of ceramic matrices. However, due to the difficult dispersion and easy agglomeration of graphene, the preparation process of composite ceramics still faces many problems. In this study, a laminated laser-induced reduced graphene oxide/hexagonal boron nitride (L-rGO/h-BN) was introduced as an additive into a silicon nitride matrix, then a silicon nitride/reduced graphene oxide/hexagonal boron nitride (Si3N4/L-rGO/h-BN) ceramic composite was successfully synthesized using Spark Plasma Sintering technology. This approach led to enhancements in both the mechanical and self-lubricating properties of silicon nitride ceramics. This is due to the good monodispersity of the incorporating graphene in the silicon nitride matrix. The flexural strength and fracture toughness of the ceramic composite experienced notable increases of 30.4% and 34.4%, respectively. Tribological experiments demonstrate a significant enhancement in the self-lubricating performance of ceramic composites upon the incorporation of L-rGO/h-BN. The coefficient of friction and wear spot diameter experienced reductions of 26.6% and 21%, respectively. These improvements extend the potential industrial applications of Si3N4/L-rGO/h-BN ceramic composites. Throughout the friction process, the evenly exposed rGO and h-BN demonstrate an effective self-lubricating effect on the wear surface. The space-borne synthetic aperture radar (SAR) azimuth multi-channel system has extensive applications because it can achieve high-resolution and wide-swath radar imaging. The thermal noise generated by the radar receiver of each channel during operation will cause an imbalance between channels. If the echoes of each channel are quantized with the same number of bits without considering the influence of thermal noise, false targets will appear in the imaging consequences. Considering that the thermal noise generated in the receiver will affect the quantization process of the space-borne SAR azimuth multi-channel system, a new space-borne SAR azimuth multi-channel quantization method is proposed to improve this problem. Firstly, the pure noise power of the receiver is calculated without transmitting the radar signal. The signal power is estimated by subtracting the pure noise power from the total power. Then, the average value of the radar echo signal minus k times the standard deviation is used as the left endpoint of the original data amplitude range, and the average value of the radar echo signal plus k times the standard deviation is used as the right endpoint of the original data amplitude range. The original echo data after adjusting the amplitude range is quantified. This method can effectively reduce the influence of thermal noise and random outliers in the receiver on quantization and suppress the appearance of false targets. Remote sensing image object detection is a challenging task in the field of computer vision due to the complex backgrounds and diverse arrangements of targets in remote sensing images, forming intricate scenes. To overcome this challenge, existing object detection models adopt rotated target detection methods. However, these methods often lead to a loss of semantic information during feature extraction, specifically regarding the insufficient consideration of element correlations. To solve this problem, this research introduces a novel attention module (EuPea) designed to effectively capture inter-elemental information in feature maps and generate more powerful feature maps for use in neural networks. In the EuPea attention mechanism, we integrate distance information and Pearson correlation coefficient information between elements in the feature map. Experimental results show that using either type of information individually can improve network performance, but their combination has a stronger effect, producing an attention-weighted feature map. This improvement effectively enhances the object detection performance of the model, enabling it to better comprehend information in remote sensing images. Concurrently, this also improves missed detections and false alarms in object detection. Experimental results obtained on the DOTA, NWPU VHR-10, and DIOR datasets indicate that, compared with baseline RCNN models, our approach achieves respective improvements of 1.0%, 2.4%, and 1.8% in mean average precision (mAP). Simple Summary: Batocera horsfieldi Hope (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae) has a wide host range, attacking nearly 100 tree species, and has become a devastating native forestry pest in China. Studies of various phytophagous insect attractants have shown that plant volatiles can be used as effective bait while minimizing the cost and labor of manual control. In this study, we searched for key plant-derived volatile attractants for B. horsfieldi by extracting and evaluating volatile components of host plants using beetle electrophysiological responses and Y-tube behavioral experiments. We provide a theoretical framework for the green control of the beetle. Following infestation by phytophagous insects, changes in the composition and relative proportion of volatile components emitted by plants may be observed. Some phytophagous insects can accurately identify these compounds to locate suitable host plants. We investigated whether herbivore-induced plant volatiles (HIPVs) generated by herbivory on Pistacia chinensis Bunge (Sapindales: Aceraceae) might be semiochemicals for the host location of Batocera horsfieldi Hope (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae). We performed two-choice bioassays (indoor darkroom, inside cages) on plants damaged by adult feeding and intact control plants. Volatiles from these plants were then collected and identified, and the response of adult antennae to these compounds was tested via electroantennography (EAG). The behavioral responses of B. horsfieldi to these compounds were finally assessed using a Y-tube olfactometer. Host plant choice tests show that B. horsfieldi prefers feeding-damaged P. chinensis over healthy trees. In total, 15 compounds were collected from healthy and feeding-damaged P. chinensis, 10 of which were shared in both healthy and feeding-damaged P. chinensis, among which there were significant differences in the quantities of five terpenes, including α-pinene, β-pinene, α-phellandrene, D-limonene, and β-ocimene. In EAG assays, the antennae of B. horsfieldi adults responded strongly to (Z)-3-hexen-1-ol, β-ocimene, 3-carene, γ-terpinene, D-limonene, myrcene, and α-phellandrene. The antennae of B. horsfieldi adults responded in a dose–response manner to these compounds. Y-tube behavioral experiments showed that four compounds attracted mated females ((Z)-3-hexen-1-ol, β-ocimene, 3-carene, and α-phellandrene), two compounds ((Z)-3-hexen-1-ol and α-phellandrene) attracted males, and adults of both sexes avoided D-limonene. Feeding bioassays showed that (Z)-3-hexen-1-ol and β-ocimene could promote the feeding of B. horsfieldi and that D-limonene inhibited this response. Hexagonal boron nitride, as a layered material with a graphite-like structure, exhibits good mechanical, lubricating and oxidation resistance properties, and is thus expected to become one of the top choices for green lubricating oil additives. However, its poor dispersibility in oil and difficulties in preparing spherical particles when constructing hexagonal boron nitride limit its application. In this paper, spherical hexagonal boron nitride nanoparticles are constructed via a simple laser irradiation method. Under laser irradiation, raw irregular hexagonal boron nitride particles were reshaped into nanospheres via a laser-induced photothermal process and rapid cooling in a liquid-phase environment. Under the optimal concentration, the coefficient of friction and wear spot diameter decreased by 26.1% and 23.2%, and the surface roughness and wear volume decreased by 29.2% and 23.8%, respectively. The enhanced tribological performance is mainly due to the ball bearing, depositional absorption and repair effect of the spherical particles. Fusarium head blight (FHB) is primarily caused by Fusarium graminearum and severely reduces wheat yield, causing mycotoxin contamination in grains and derived products. F. graminearum-secreted chemical toxins stably accumulate in plant cells, disturbing host metabolic homeostasis. We determined the potential mechanisms underlying FHB resistance and susceptibility in wheat. Three representative wheat varieties (Sumai 3, Yangmai 158, and Annong 8455) were inoculated with F. graminearum and their metabolite changes were assessed and compared. In total, 365 differentiated metabolites were successfully identified. Amino acids and derivatives, carbohydrates, flavonoids, hydroxycinnamate derivatives, lipids, and nucleotides constituted the major changes in response to fungal infection. Changes in defense-associated metabolites, such as flavonoids and hydroxycinnamate derivatives, were dynamic and differed among the varieties. Nucleotide and amino acid metabolism and the tricarboxylic acid cycle were more active in the highly and moderately resistant varieties than in the highly susceptible variety. We demonstrated that two plant-derived metabolites, phenylalanine and malate, significantly suppressed F. graminearum growth. The genes encoding the biosynthetic enzymes for these two metabolites were upregulated in wheat spike during F. graminearum infection. Thus, our findings uncovered the metabolic basis of resistance and susceptibility of wheat to F. graminearum and provided insights into engineering metabolic pathways to enhance FHB resistance in wheat. The longhorn beetle Monochamus alternatus is an important conifer stem-boring pest and the main vector in Asia of the invasive pine wood nematode Bursaphelenchus xylophilus, which causes a devastating pine disease. Field experiments were carried out to evaluate the effect of coating black panel traps with different concentrations of an anti-adhesive material, Teflon, on Monochamus captures. Tests were also conducted to look at the possible decrease in the Teflon effect with exposure duration as well as the effect of the implementation of an anti-escape ring on the trap. The three tested Teflon concentrations significantly improved the captures of M. alternatus with regard to those with uncoated traps. The beetle captures increased by 108.3% in traps coated with a 4x Teflon dilution, but no significant differences in captures were observed when the traps were coated with either a Teflon stock solution or a 8x dilution. The trapping efficiency gradually decreased with the duration of exposure of the coated traps. No significant difference was observed after one year of exposure, but the trapping efficiency significantly decreased by 36.6% after 2 years and by 72.0% after 3 years. Two-year old, coated traps equipped with an anti-escape ring were nearly three times more efficient than those without an anti-escape ring, but the captures were still lower than those obtained with newly coated traps. The present study provides valuable information for the future development of environmentally friendly prevention methods. Attractants combined with Teflon coating and an anti-escape ring could significantly improve the trapping efficiency of M. alternatus adults, which may allow for the reduction of the population density of M. alternatus and transmission probability of pine wilt disease. In recent years, dramatic progress in object detection in remote sensing images has been made due to the rapid development of convolutional neural networks (CNNs). However, most existing methods solely pay attention to training a suitable network model to extract more powerful features in order to solve the problem of false detections and missed detections caused by background complexity, various scales, and the appearance of the object. To open up new paths, we consider embedding knowledge into geospatial object detection. As a result, we put forward a method of digitizing knowledge and embedding knowledge into detection. Specifically, we first analyze the training set and then transform the probability into a knowledge factor according to an analysis using an improved version of the method used in existing work. With a knowledge matrix consisting of knowledge factors, the Knowledge Inference Module (KIM) optimizes the classification in which the residual structure is introduced to avoid performance degradation. Extensive experiments are conducted on two public remote sensing image data sets, namely DOTA and DIOR. The experimental results prove that the proposed method is able to reduce some false detections and missed detections and obtains a higher mean average precision (mAP) performance than the baseline method. Frequent severe heat waves have caused a series of health problems for urban dwellers. Swimming, an exercise that combines both cooling off and moderate to vigorous physical activity (MVPA), is one solution for alleviating the conflict between urban heat problems and public health. Therefore, the distribution and spatial accessibility of swimming pools are worth examining. Using open-source data we scraped from the Baidu Map API (Application Programming Interface), we designed and constructed a grid-based accessibility index. We analyzed pool accessibility in three aspects: distribution of pools, catchment area of pools, and spatial disparities of the accessibility index. The results are as follows. (a) The pools are clustered, dense in the central area, and sparse in the peripheral areas. (b) 53.16% of the residents can access a pool within 5 minutes by cycling, and the number is only 12.03% when they travel on foot. The poor situation is highly improved with the extension of time, these figures are up to 97.62% and 70.71% when the time cost is 15 minutes. The overall circular buffer significantly mismatches the real catchment area of the pools. (c) The spatial disparity in accessibility is significant and shows a sharply decreasing trend outward from the center. (d) Pool accessibility is mainly influenced by the distribution of pools and ground obstacles such as rivers, mountains, and elevated roads. The microstructure and mechanical properties of X70 pipeline steel with a ferrite/martensite dual-phase microstructure produced by thermo-mechanical controlled processing were investigated by tensile tests, Charpy V-notched (CVN) impact tests, drop-weight tear tests, guided-bend tests, scanning electron microscopy and transmission electron microscopy combined with thermodynamic simulation analysis. All the mechanical properties met the strength, ductility, toughness and deformability properties requirements of X70 grade pipeline steel with strain-based design. The shear fracture area and absorbed energy of CVN at −10 °C were >97% and >205 J in base metal (BM), weld metal (WM) and heat affected zone (HAZ) with low transition temperature, indicating adequate resistance to propagating fracture. The microstructure of WM was mainly intragranular acicular ferrite that can guarantee high strength, toughness and over matching requirements of the welded joint. Because of being exposed to successive heat inputs, the ferrite plus martensite/bainite microstructure of BM was heated between Ac1 and Ts forming the HAZ. However, a high CVN impact toughness of 345 J at −10 °C in HAZ was obtained, which indicated that the excellent mechanical properties of BM would not be seriously deteriorated during the welding thermal cycles with the reasonable addition of Ti and Nb. The uniformity and microstructure of the copper deposition in the high aspect ratio plated through holes (penetrating holes) are crucial for the performance of printed circuit board. We systematically investigated the effects of reverse pulse parameters in the period pulse reverse (PPR) plating on the uniformity and microstructure of the copper deposition, including reverse pulse frequency, reverse pulse duty cycle and reverse pulse current density. The Cu deposition behavior (throwing power) and its crystallographic characteristics, including grain size, crystallographic orientation, and grain boundary, were characterized by means of field-emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM), X-ray diffractometer (XRD), and electron backscatter diffraction (EBSD). Our results clarify that the reverse pulse current density and duty ratio should be low to achieve the full filling and high uniformity of the through holes. The reverse pulse frequency of 1500 Hz would prevent the through holes to be fully filled. The copper electrodeposition in PTH prepared by double pulse electrodeposition has the good (111) surface texture and grain boundary distribution. This work demonstrated that the period pulse reverse (PPR) plating provides unique advantages in achieving the ultra-uniform copper deposition in the high aspect ratio plated through holes. This paper aims to study the relationship between the microstructure and the mechanical properties of X70 submarine pipeline steel with 40.5 mm thickness. The microstructure was examined by using optical microscopy, scanning electron microscopy and an electron backscattered diffractometer, while the mechanical properties were examined by using a hardness test, a tensile test, a Charpy impact test and a drop weight tear test (DWTT), respectively. The results show that the base metal (BM) of the pipe has a low yield ratio of 0.83 and an excellent elongation of more than 45%. The DWTT shear area of the steel plate reaches 87%, showing excellent low-temperature toughness. The Charpy impact energy increases when the distance from the fusion line increases, and it reaches a maximum at the BM near the heat-affected zone (HAZ) due to the small martensite-austenite (MA) constituents and fine grains. The concentrated distribution of blocky/slender MA constituents along the prior austenite grain boundaries of the intercritically reheated coarse-grained HAZ and the large MA constituents are the main reasons for the deteriorating impact toughness. Delamination cracks in the DWTT fracture surface only occurred in the midthickness of a sample with a small opening width that spread about 2.1 mm perpendicular to the DWTT fracture surface and were finally arrested at the acicular ferrite clusters containing a high density of high-angle boundaries. In order to meet the growing demand for the electronics market, many new materials have been studied to replace traditional electrode materials for energy storage systems. Molybdenum oxide materials are electrode materials with higher theoretical capacity than graphene, which was originally used as anode electrodes for lithium-ion batteries. In subsequent studies, they have a wider application in the field of energy storage, such as being used as cathodes or anodes for other ion batteries (sodium-ion batteries, potassium-ion batteries, etc.), and electrode materials for supercapacitors. However, molybdenum oxide materials have serious volume expansion concerns and irreversible capacity dropping during the cycles. To solve these problems, doping with different elements has become a suitable option, being an effective method that can change the crystal structure of the materials and improve the performances. Therefore, there are many research studies on metal element doping or non-metal doping molybdenum oxides. This paper summarizes the recent research on the application of hetero-element-doped molybdenum oxides in the field of energy storage, and it also provides some brief analysis and insights. LiFePO4 (LFPO)has great potential as the cathode material for lithium-ion batteries; it has a high theoretical capacity (170 m·A·h·g−1), high safety, low toxicity and good economic benefits. However, low conductivity and a low diffusion rate inhibit its future development. To overcome these weaknesses, three-dimensional carbon-coated LiFePO4 that incorporates a high capacity, superior conductivity and low volume expansion enables faster electron transport channels. The use of Cetyltrimethyl Ammonium Bromid (CTAB) modification only requires a simple water bath and sintering, without the need to add a carbon source in the LFPO synthesis process. In this way, the electrode shows excellent reversible capacity, as high as 159.8 m·A·h·g−1 at 2 C, superior rate capability with 97.3 m·A·h·g−1 at 5 C and good cycling ability, preserving ~84.2% capacity after 500 cycles. By increasing the ion transport rate and enhancing the structural stability of LFPO nanoparticles, the LFPO-positive electrode achieves excellent initial capacity and cycle life through cost-effective and easy-to-implement carbon coating. This simple three-dimensional carbon-coated LiFePO4 provides a new and simple idea for obtaining comprehensive and high-performance electrode materials in the field of lithium cathode materials. In a multichannel geosynchronous spaceborne–airborne bistatic synthetic aperture radar (GEO-SA-BiSAR) system, the airborne receiver can obtain high-resolution microwave images with good signal-to-noise ratios (SNRs) by passively receiving echoes from the desired area. Since the Doppler modulation and range history of a moving target are obviously different from a stationary target, a signal geometry model for moving targets in multichannel GEO-SA-BiSAR is established in this paper. According to simulation results, the along track velocity introduces target defocusing in azimuth, and the slant range velocity mainly causes multiple false targets. To resolve these problems, a modified multichannel reconstruction method in azimuth channel GEO-SA-BiSAR is proposed according to the azimuth multichannel impulse response of the imaged moving target. Before azimuth multichannel raw data combination, both spatial-variant range cell migration correction (RCMC) and azimuth nonlinear chirp scaling (ANLCS) should be performed to reduce the influence of the range offset and lower the Doppler bandwidth of the whole raw data, respectively. Afterward, a novel azimuth multichannel reconstruction algorithm is carried out via the modified reconstruction matrix based on the estimated target velocity. The target slant range velocity estimation is implemented by introducing the signal intensity ratio (SIR). Compared with the conventional method for the stationary target to handle the raw data of the moving target, the false targets could be obviously suppressed by using the proposed approach. A spaceborne azimuth multichannel synthetic aperture radar (SAR) system can effectively realize high resolution wide swath (HRWS) imaging. However, the performance of this system is restricted by its two inherent defects. Firstly, non-uniform sampling is generated if the pulse repetition frequency (PRF) deviates from the optimum value. Secondly, multichannel systems are very sensitive to channel errors, which are difficult to completely eliminate. In this paper, we propose a novel receive antenna architecture with an azimuth phase center adaptive adjustment which adjusts the phase center position of each sub-aperture to improve multichannel SAR system performance. On one hand, the optimum value of the PRF can be adaptively adjusted within a certain range by adjusting receiving phase centers to obtain uniform azimuth sampling. On the other hand, false targets introduced by residual channel errors after azimuth multichannel error compensation can be further suppressed.
