Phenylalanine ammonia lyase (PAL) is a pivotal enzyme in the phenylalanine metabolic pathway in plants and has a crucial role in the plant's response to environmental stress. Although the PAL family has been widely studied in many plant species, limited is known about its particular role in cucumbers under stress. We investigated the physicochemical properties, gene structure, gene duplication events, conserved motifs, cis-acting elements, protein interaction networks, stress-related transcriptome data, and quantitatively validated key stress-related genes. The main results indicated that 15 PAL genes were grouped into four clades: I, II, and III when arranged in a phylogenetic tree of PAL genes in angiosperms. The analysis of the promoter sequence revealed the presence of multiple cis-acting elements related to hormones and stress responses in the cucumber PAL genes (CsPALs). The analysis of protein interaction networks suggested that CsPAL1 interacts with eight other members of the PAL family through CsELI5 and CsHISNA, and directly interacts with multiple proteins in the 4CL family. Further investigation into the expression patterns of CsPAL genes in different tissues and under various stress treatments (NaCl, Cu2+, Zn2+, PEG6000, aphids) demonstrated significant differential expression of CsPALs across cucumber tissues. In oxygen production on plateaus, pressure swing adsorption (PSA) oxygen production is currently the most commonly used oxygen production method. In plateau regions, low pressure leads to a decrease in adsorbent nitrogen–oxygen separation performance, which affects the performance of PSA oxygen production, so it is particularly important to enhance adsorbent nitrogen–oxygen separation performance. In this paper, Li-LSX (lithium low-silicon aluminum X zeolite molecular sieve) adsorbents were modified using the liquid phase ion exchange method, and five kinds of modified adsorbents were obtained, namely AgLi-LSX, CaLi-LSX, ZnLi-LSX, CuLi-LSX, and FeLi-LSX, respectively. The influences of different metal ions and modification time lengths on the adsorbent nitrogen adsorption and nitrogen–oxygen separation coefficients were analyzed. Through theoretical calculations, the nitrogen and oxygen adsorption and separation performances of the modified adsorbents at different altitudes and low adsorption pressures were investigated. It is shown that the nitrogen adsorption capacity of the AgLi-LSX-1 adsorbent obtained from the modification experiment reaches 27.92 mL/g, which is 3.24 mL/g higher than that of Li-LSX; the nitrogen–oxygen separation coefficients of S1 and S2 are 19.24 and 7.54 higher, respectively; and the nitrogen–oxygen separation coefficients of S4 are 20.85 and 7.54 higher than those of Li-LSX, respectively. With the increase in altitude from 50 m to 5000 m, the nitrogen–oxygen separation coefficient of the AgLi-LSX-1 adsorbent increased rapidly from 20.85 to 57, and its nitrogen–oxygen separation coefficient S4 exceeded that of the Li-LSX adsorbent to reach 47.61 at an altitude of 4000 m. In the current study, which focuses on the operational safety problem in intelligent three-dimensional garages, an obstacle avoidance measurement and control scheme for the AGV parking robot is proposed. Under the premise of high-precision distance detection using Kalman filtering, a mathematical model of a brushless DC (BLDC) motor with full-speed range hybrid control is established. MATLAB/Simulink (R2022a) is used to build the control model, which has dual closed-loop vector-controlled motors in the low- to medium-speed range, with photoelectric encoders for speed feedback. The simulation results show that, at lower to medium speeds, the maximum overshoot of the output response curve is 1.5%, and the response time is 0.01 s. However, at higher speeds, there is significant jitter in the speed output waveform. Therefore, the speed feedback is switched to a sliding mode observer (SMO) instead of the original speed sensor at high speeds. Experiments show that, based on the SMO, the problem of speed waveform jitter at high motor speeds can be significantly improved, and the BLDC motor system has strong robustness. In recent years, the number of people driving from plain areas to the western plateau of China has been increasing, and their safety is threatened by acute high-altitude reactions caused by hypoxia. Vehicle-mounted pressure swing adsorption oxygen supply technology can help solve this problem. For the optimization of vehicle pressure swing adsorption oxygen production, the influence of different pressure equalization methods on oxygen production efficiency was studied. The best oxygen production performance was achieved when the initial upper pressure equalization method and the simultaneous pressure equalization method were used. Using a 160 W air compressor, the product gas flow rate could reach 2.5 L/min with an oxygen concentration of 93.48%. The impact of adsorption time, equalization time, flow rate, and throttle inner diameter on oxygen concentration and recovery rate was analyzed using the response surface method. The order of the four factors affecting oxygen concentration is as follows: flow rate > adsorption time > equalization time > throttle inner diameter. After optimization, the product gas flow rate was 2.6 L/min, the oxygen concentration was 92.11%, and the oxygen recovery rate was 44.51%. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Simple Summary: Assisted reproductive technology including in vitro maturation (IVM) of oocytes, in vitro fertilization (IVF), and in vitro culture (IVC) of embryos is widely used both for humans and animals. In animal science and veterinary medicine, it is particularly important for livestock breeding. Although numerous efforts have been made, the development rates obtained with these techniques are still limited, especially in cattle. Vitamin C is a key nutrient that has multiple functions. To procure high-quality bovine oocytes, the effects of vitamin C on the IVM of bovine oocytes and embryo development at an early stage were investigated. We found that vitamin C supplementation at a tuned concentration improved bovine oocyte maturation and its combination in the media of IVM and IVC can potentially change the quality of bovine embryos. To obtain high-quality bovine oocytes, the effects of vitamin C (VC) on the IVM of bovine oocytes and early embryo development were investigated. The results showed the following. (1) The IVM medium containing 50 µg/mL VC improved the oocyte maturation rate but did not affect the parthenogenetic embryo development. (2) The IVC medium containing 20 µg/mL VC improved the cleavage rate of the IVF embryos and enhanced the mRNA transcriptions of pluripotency gene Oct4, Sox2, Cdx2, and Nanog in the blastocysts but had no effects on the blastocyst rate. (3) Combining supplementation of 50 µg/mL VC in IVM medium + 20 µg/mL VC in IVC medium (named as VC 50/20, similar hereinafter) elevated the cleavage rate of IVF embryos and enhanced the mRNA expressions of Oct4, Sox2, Cdx2, and Nanog in the blastocysts. (4) Combination of VC 0/20 and VC 50/20 enhanced the transcription of anti-apoptotic gene Bcl-2 and VC 50/0 weakened the transcription of pro-apoptotic gene Bax, while VC 0/40 and VC 0/60 increased Bax expression and diminished the Bcl-2/Bax ratio in blastocysts. Together, employing 50 µg/mL VC improves the IVM of bovine oocytes and combination of VC 50/20 potentially changes bovine embryo quality by enhancing the expressions of the pluripotency genes and regulating the expressions of apoptosis-related genes. In today's increasingly competitive globalization, innovation is crucial to technological development, and original innovations have become the high horse in the fight for market dominance by enterprises and governments. However, extracting original innovative technologies from patent data faces challenges such as anomalous data and lengthy analysis cycles, making it difficult for traditional models to achieve high-precision identification. Therefore, we propose a Multi-Dimensional Robust Stacking (MDRS) model to deeply analyze patent data, extract leading indicators, and accurately identify cutting-edge technologies. The MDRS model is divided into four stages: single indicator construction, robust indicator mining, hyper-robust indicator construction, and the pioneering technology analysis phase. Based on this model, we construct a technological development matrix to analyze core 3D-printing technologies across the industry chain. The results show that the MDRS model significantly enhances the accuracy and robustness of technology forecasting, elucidates the mechanisms of technological leadership across different stages and application scenarios, and provides new methods for quantitative analysis of technological trends. The epidermal barrier is vital for protecting the skin from environmental stressors and ultraviolet (UV) radiation. Filaggrin-2 (FLG2), a critical protein in the stratum corneum, plays a significant role in maintaining skin barrier homeostasis. However, the precise role of FLG2 in mitigating the adverse effects of UV-induced barrier disruption and photoaging remains poorly understood. In this study, we revealed that UVB exposure resulted in a decreased expression of FLG2 in HaCaT keratinocytes, which correlated with a compromised barrier function. The administration of recombinant filaggrin-2 (rFLG2) enhanced keratinocyte differentiation, bolstered barrier integrity, and offered protection against apoptosis and oxidative stress induced by UVB irradiation. Furthermore, in a UV-induced photodamage murine model, the dermal injection of rFLG2 facilitated the enhanced restoration of the epidermal barrier, decreased oxidative stress and inflammation, and mitigated the collagen degradation that is typical of photoaging. Collectively, our findings suggested that targeting FLG2 could be a strategic approach to prevent and treat skin barrier dysfunction and combat the aging effects associated with photoaging. rFLG2 emerges as a potentially viable therapy for maintaining skin health and preventing skin aging processes amplified by photodamage. In this study, RM (red mud) was acidified with sulfuric acid, and the acidified ARM (acidified red mud) was utilized as an innovative adsorption material for treating antibiotic-containing wastewater. The adsorption conditions, kinetics, isotherms, thermodynamics, and mechanism of ARM for CIP (ciprofloxacin) were investigated. The characterization of the ARM involved techniques such as scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), Brunauer–Emmett–Teller (BET), X-ray diffraction (XRD), X-ray fluorescence (XRF), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), and NH3-TPD analysis. Adsorption studies employed a response surface methodology (RSM) for the experimental design. The results showed that ARM can absorb CIP effectively. The RSM optimal experiment indicated that the most significant model terms influencing adsorption capacity were solution pH, CIP initial concentration, and ARM dosage, under which the predicted maximum adsorption capacity achieved 7.30 mg/g. The adsorption kinetics adhered to a pseudo-second-order model, while equilibrium data fitted the Langmuir–Freundlich isotherm, yielding maximum capacity values of 7.35 mg/g. The adsorption process occurred spontaneously and absorbed heat, evidenced by ΔGθ values between −83.05 and −91.50 kJ/mol, ΔSθ at 281.6 J/mol/K, and ΔHθ at 0.86 kJ/mol. Analysis using attenuated total reflection Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (ATR-FTIR) indicated a complex reaction between the Al–O in the ARM and the ester group –COO in CIP. The C=O bond in CIP was likely to undergo a slight electrostatic interaction or be bound to the internal spherical surface of the ARM. The testes serve as the primary source of androgens and the site of spermatogenesis, with their development and function governed by hormonal actions via endocrine and paracrine pathways. Male fertility hinges on the availability of testosterone, a cornerstone of spermatogenesis, while follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) signaling is indispensable for the proliferation, differentiation, and proper functioning of Sertoli and germ cells. This review covers the research on how androgens, FSH, and other hormones support processes crucial for male fertility in the testis and reproductive tract. These hormones are regulated by the hypothalamic–pituitary–gonad (HPG) axis, which is either quiescent or activated at different stages of the life course, and the regulation of the axis is crucial for the development and normal function of the male reproductive system. Hormonal imbalances, whether due to genetic predispositions or environmental influences, leading to hypogonadism or hypergonadism, can precipitate reproductive disorders. To reduce the power consumption of a TDC in high-speed applications, a TDC architecture applied to SS ADC is proposed to reduce redundant counting. This structure can remove the identical part between two rows of pixel signals in a CMOS image sensor by adjusting the start and stop signal of the TDC, which will reduce the number of flipping of D flip-flops in the TDC. This structure requires the simultaneous readout of two rows of pixels in the high-speed CMOS image sensor. In the 110 nm CMOS process, simulation results show that the designed 5-bit TDC achieves an effective number of bits (ENOB) at 4.72 bits and a figure-of-merit (FOM) at 104.7–162.3 fJ/step, with a power consumption ranging from 60 µW to 93 µW. To solve the problem of reverse car searching in intelligent multi-story garages or parking lots, the reverse car searching method based on the intelligent garage of the PC client and mobile client APP was studied, and the interface design and function development of the system's PC and mobile client APP were carried out. YOLOv5 network and LPRNet network were used for license plate location and recognition to realize parking and entry detection. The indoor pedestrian location method based on RSSI fingerprint signal fusion BPNet network and KNN algorithm was studied, and the location accuracy within 2.5 m was found to be 100%. The research on the A* algorithm based on spatial accessibility was conducted to realize the reverse car search function. The research results indicate that the guidance of the vehicle finding path can be completed while the number of invalid search nodes for the example maps was reduced by more than 55.0%, and the operating efficiency of the algorithm increased to 28.5%. Due to the increasing trend of delayed childbirth, the age-related decline in male reproductive function has become a widely recognized issue. Sertoli cells (SCs) play a vital role in creating the necessary microenvironment for spermatogenesis in the testis. However, the mechanism underlying Sertoli cell aging is still unclear. In this study, senescent Sertoli cells showed a substantial upregulation of miR-143-3p expression. miR-143-3p was found to limit Sertoli cell proliferation, promote cellular senescence, and cause blood–testis barrier (BTB) dysfunction by targeting ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme E2 E3 (UBE2E3). Additionally, the TGF-β receptor inhibitor SB431542 showed potential in alleviating age-related BTB dysfunction, rescuing testicular atrophy, and reversing the reduction in germ cell numbers by negatively regulating miR-143-3p. These findings clarified the regulatory pathways underlying Sertoli cell senescence and suggested a promising therapeutic approach to restore BTB function, alleviate Sertoli cell senescence, and improve reproductive outcomes for individuals facing fertility challenges. The isoquinoline alkaloid berberine, derived from Coptidis rhizoma, exhibits antibacterial, hypoglycemic, and anti-inflammatory properties. Canagliflozin is a sodium–glucose cotransporter 2 (SGLT2) inhibitor. We synthesized compounds B9OC and B9OBU by conjugating canagliflozin and n-butane at the C9 position of berberine, aiming to develop antimicrobial agents for combating bacterial infections worldwide. We utilized clinically prevalent pathogenic bacteria, namely Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa, to investigate the antibacterial efficacy of B9OC. This was accomplished through the determination of the MIC80 values, analysis of bacterial growth curves, evaluation of biofilm formation using crystal violet staining, assessment of impact on bacterial proteins via SDS-PAGE analysis, and observation of alterations in bacterial morphology utilizing field emission scanning electron microscopy. Meanwhile, the ADMET of compound B9OC was predicted using a computer-aided method. The findings revealed that B9OC exhibited lower minimal inhibitory concentrations against all three bacteria compared to berberine alone or in combination with canagliflozin. The minimal inhibitory concentrations (MICs) of B9OC against the three experimental strains were determined to be 0.035, 0.258, and 0.331 mM. However, B9OBu exhibited a lower level of antimicrobial activity compared to berberine. The compound B9OC exhibits a broad spectrum of antibacterial activity by disrupting the integrity of bacterial cell walls, leading to cellular rupture and the subsequent degradation of intracellular proteins. Tea aroma greatly varies with the production date. This study investigated the aroma differences among black teas processed on different dates (March 23rd, April 8th, April 15th, April 27th, and May 7th) in the spring. A sensory evaluation showed that the black tea produced on April 15th had a strong and lasting sweet aroma and the highest score of 93.5. In total, 71 volatile compounds were identified, and alcohols were the predominant category, accounting for 60.98%. From March 23rd to May 7th, the total content of volatile compounds showed a parabolic change trend and reached its maximum on April 15th (715.27 μg/L); the flavor index first peaked on April 8th (23.25) and then gradually decreased. A multivariate statistical analysis showed that 39 volatile compounds were important, differential aroma components. An odor activity value (OAV) analysis showed that the predominant odorants were β-ionone, β-damascenone, linalool, (E)-β-ocimene, and geraniol, all with values larger than 100. The total OAVs of undesirable odorants decreased and reached their minimum (70.4) on April 27th, while the total OAVs of pleasant odorants and the ratio of pleasant/undesirable odorants showed inverse changes and reached their maximum (2182.1 and 31.0, respectively) on April 27th. Based on the significance of differences and OAVs, linalool, (E)-β-ocimene, geraniol, and (E,E)-2,4-nonadienal were considered as the key differential odorants. Combined with the sensory evaluation and the differences in aroma components, it was proposed that black teas produced around April 15th in the Hunan district are more likely to have a strong and lasting sweet aroma. The utilization of user privacy data in the health data tracking system (HDTS) offers numerous benefits for businesses and public services, contingent upon users' privacy sharing intentions. However, previous research neglected users' preferences for public services and focused mainly on personalized services. Additionally, traditional privacy calculus theory has a limited focus on data security, leaving gaps in understanding individual and societal aspects. This study aims to fill these gaps by examining the influence of risk perception and factors like potential loss expectations, perceived personalized service benefits, group value identification, perceived public service utility, and perceived privacy on privacy sharing intentions in the context of personalized and public services. The results indicate a positive relationship between individual privacy protection perception and data sharing intention, as well as a positive relationship between group value identification and perceived public service utility with individuals' privacy sharing intentions. Moreover, this research uncovers the moderating effect of information type sensitivity on the impact of perceived privacy and perceived public service utility on privacy sharing intentions, while there is no moderating effect of information type sensitivity on the relationship between group value identification and privacy sharing intentions. We recommend improving individual privacy education, ensuring data use transparency, and fostering identification with common group values to increase users' privacy sharing intentions. Alcoholic hepatitis (AH) is a rapidly progressing and severe stage of alcoholic liver disease, presenting a grim prognosis. Extensive research has elucidated several underlying mechanisms that contribute to the development of AH, including metabolic alterations, immune stimulation, and intestinal dysbiosis. These pathological changes intricately intertwine during the progression of AH. Notably, recent studies have increasingly highlighted the pivotal role of alterations in the intestinal microbiota in the pathogenesis of AH. Consequently, future investigations should place significant emphasis on exploring the dynamics of intestinal microbiota. In this comprehensive review, we consolidate the primary causes of AH while underscoring the influence of gut microbes. Furthermore, by examining AH treatment strategies, we delineate the potential therapeutic value of interventions targeting the gut microbiota. Given the existing limitations in AH treatment options, we anticipate that this review will contribute to forthcoming research endeavors aimed at advancing AH treatment modalities. Aroma is a vital factor influencing tea quality and value. It is a challenge to produce a kind of black tea with a floral/fruity aroma, good taste, and without a green/grassy odor simultaneously using small- and medium-leaf tea species. In this study, the effect of re-rolling treatment on the aroma quality of small-leaf Congou black tea was investigated using the methods of the equivalent quantification of aroma and gas chromatography–mass spectrometry (GC-MS). Sensory evaluation showed that re-rolling treatment improved the aroma quality of Congou black tea by conferring upon it floral and fruity scents. In total, 179 volatile compounds were identified using GC-MS, of which 97 volatiles showed statistical differences (Tukey s-b(K), p < 0.05). Re-rolling treatment significantly reduced the levels of alcoholic fatty acid-derived volatiles (FADVs) and volatile terpenoid (VTs), but increased the levels of aldehydic and ester FADVs, most amino acid-derived volatiles (AADVs), carotenoid-derived volatiles (CDVs), alkene VTs, and some other important volatile compounds. Based on the odor characteristics and fold changes of differential volatile compounds, hexanoic acid, hexyl formate, cis-3-hexenyl hexanoate, (Z)-3-hexenyl benzoate, hexyl hexanoate, phenylacetaldehyde, benzyl alcohol, β-ionone, α-ionone, dihydroactinidiolide, ipsenone, β-farnesene, β-octalactone, melonal, etc., were considered as the potential key odorants responsible for the floral and fruity scents of re-rolled black tea. In summary, this study provides a novel and simple processing technology to improve the aroma quality of small-leaf Congou black tea, and the results are beneficial to enriching tea aroma chemistry. The adsorption thermodynamics and kinetics of CO2 and six combustion products (H2O, SO2, N2, O2, NO and NO2) of two most commonly used commercial zeolites (13X and 5A) were studied based on validated molecular simulations. Adsorption isotherms at wide range of temperatures (253–333 K) were fitted by a Langmuir model, obtaining equilibrium parameters including the adsorption capacity, strength, heterogeneity and CO2 selectivity from the mixture. The diffusion coefficients, isosteric adsorption heats and distributions of potential energy were simulated for further explanation. The comprehensive evaluation results suggest that, in actual combustion product mixtures, the presence of H2O in combustion products has a significant impact on CO2 capture efficiency. High-speed railway catenaries are vital components in railway traction power supply systems. To ensure stable contact between the pantograph and the catenary, droppers are positioned between the messenger wire and contact line. The failure of one or more droppers will affect the power supply of the catenary and the operation of the railway. In this paper, we modify the You Only Look Once version five (YOLOv5) model in several ways and propose a method for improving the identification of dropper status and the detection of small defects. Firstly, to focus on small target features, the selective kernel attention module is added to the backbone. Secondly, the feature graphs of different scales extracted from the backbone network are fed into the bidirectional feature pyramid network for multiscale feature fusion. Thirdly, the YOLO head is replaced by a decoupled head to improve the convergence speed and detection accuracy of the model. The experimental results show that the proposed model achieves a mean average precision of 92.9% on the dropper dataset, an increase of 3.8% over the results using YOLOv5s. The detection accuracy of small dropper defects reaches 79.2%, representing an increase of 10.8% compared with YOLOv5s and demonstrating that our model is better at detecting small defects. In autonomous driving, LiDAR (light detection and ranging) data are acquired over time. Most existing 3D object detection algorithms propose the object bounding box by processing each frame of data independently, which ignores the temporal sequence information. However, the temporal sequence information is usually helpful to detect the object with missing shape information due to long distance or occlusion. To address this problem, we propose a temporal sequence information fusion 3D point cloud object detection algorithm based on the Ada-GRU (adaptive gated recurrent unit). In this method, the feature of each frame for the LiDAR point cloud is extracted through the backbone network and is fed to the Ada-GRU together with the hidden features of the previous frames. Compared to the traditional GRU, the Ada-GRU can adjust the gating mechanism adaptively during the training process by introducing the adaptive activation function. The Ada-GRU outputs the temporal sequence fusion features to predict the 3D object in the current frame and transmits the hidden features of the current frame to the next frame. At the same time, the label uncertainty of the distant and occluded objects affects the training effect of the model. For this problem, this paper proposes a probability distribution model of 3D bounding box coordinates based on the Gaussian distribution function and designs the corresponding bounding box loss function to enable the model to learn and estimate the uncertainty of the positioning of the bounding box coordinates, so as to remove the bounding box with large positioning uncertainty in the post-processing stage to reduce the false positive rate. Finally, the experiments show that the methods proposed in this paper improve the accuracy of the object detection without significantly increasing the complexity of the algorithm. With the rapid development of deep learning, more and more complex models are applied to 3D point cloud object detection to improve accuracy. In general, the more complex the model, the better the performance and the greater the computational resource consumption it has. However, complex models are incompatible for deployment on edge devices with restricted memory, so accurate and efficient 3D point cloud object detection processing is necessary. Recently, a lightweight model design has been proposed as one type of effective model compression that aims to design more efficient network computing methods. In this paper, a lightweight 3D point cloud object detection network architecture is proposed. The core innovation of the proposal consists of a lightweight 3D sparse convolution layer module (LW-Sconv module) and knowledge distillation loss. Firstly, in the LW-Sconv module, factorized convolution and group convolution are applied to the standard 3D sparse convolution layer. As the basic component of the lightweight 3D point cloud object detection network proposed in this paper, the LW-Sconv module greatly reduces the complexity of the network. Then, the knowledge distillation loss is used to guide the training of the lightweight network proposed in this paper to further improve the detection accuracy. Finally, extensive experiments are performed to verify the algorithm proposed in this paper. Compared with the baseline model, the proposed model can reduce the FLOPs and parameters by 3.7 times and 7.9 times, respectively. The lightweight model trained with knowledge distillation loss achieves comparable accuracy to the baseline. In this paper, we designed an automatic ground cleaning machine for the dedusting rooms of chicken houses to replace the manual daily cleaning of dust particles and fluff. The machine mainly comprised a power system, control system, frame and walking structure, ground cleaning system, and dedusting system. The automatic movement of the machine body in two vertical directions without turning, lifting, and lowering of the sweeper; the retraction and expansion of the sweeper support arm; the reciprocating movement of the sweeper relative to the machine body; and the timely separation of the dust particles and fluff from gas mixtures were achieved. Parameter optimization experiments on the machine were performed using a quadratic general rotary combination design considering the movement speed, rotation speed of the sweeper, and distance between the suction head nozzle and ground as experimental factors. The regression equations describing the relationship between the three experimental factors and the dust particle removal rate and fluff removal rate were obtained using Design-Expert 12 software, adequately reflecting the impact of the three experimental factors on the two experimental indexes. Further parameter optimization was conducted to obtain the optimized parameter combination at the same weight as the two experimental indexes: movement speed of 0.1 m/s, rotation speed of the sweeper of 198 r/min, and distance between the suction head nozzle and ground of 12 mm. The performance experiment on the machine was conducted using the optimized parameter combination, yielding a dust particle removal rate of 90.7% and fluff removal rate of 91.7%. The experimental results show that the machine exhibits good performance and stable operation, meeting the daily cleaning needs of large-, medium-, and small-scale rectangular dedusting rooms of chicken houses. Sclareolide was developed as an efficient C-nucleophilic reagent for an asymmetric Mannich addition reaction with a series of N-tert-butylsulfinyl aldimines. The Mannich reaction was carried out under mild conditions, affording the corresponding aminoalkyl sclareolide derivatives with up to 98% yield and 98:2:0:0 diastereoselectivity. Furthermore, the reaction could be performed on a gram scale without any reduction in yield and diastereoselectivity. Additionally, deprotection of the obtained Mannich addition products to give the target sclareolide derivatives bearing a free N-H group was demonstrated. Infectious diseases caused by Streptococcus iniae lead to massive death of fish, compose a serious threat to the global aquaculture industry, and constitute a risk to humans who deal with raw fish. In order to realize the early diagnosis of S. iniae, and control the outbreak and spread of disease, it is of great significance to establish fast, sensitive, and convenient detection methods for S. iniae. In the present study, two methods of real-time MIRA (multienzyme isothermal rapid amplification, MIRA) and MIRA-LFD (combining MIRA with lateral flow dipsticks (LFD)) for the simA gene of S. iniae were established, which could complete amplification at a constant temperature of 42 °C within 20 min. Real-time MIRA and MIRA-LFD assays showed high sensitivity (97 fg/μL or 7.6 × 102 CFU/mL), which were consistent with the sensitivity of real-time PCR and 10 times higher than that of PCR with strong specificity, repeatability simplicity, and rapidity for S. iniae originating from Trachinotus ovatus. Due to the rapid renovations of historical districts in the context of consumer society, contributing to the loss of city culture and identity, this paper describes the methodological study of the local schema concept on the renovations of architectural design, utilizing speculative design as opposed to inertial design. This case analysis focuses on Huaxing Street in Chengdu, China. By performing field surveys, photographing structures, and sending questionnaires to local inhabitants, an evaluation of Huaxing Street's current status and obstacles is conducted. The conclusion of the study summarizes the audience's satisfaction with the usage status of different renovated structures. On the basis of the idea of local schema, a spatial translation approach for architectural prototypes is given. This research explores the design methods of historical architecture in the area, history, and memory in an effort to provide guidelines for the renovation of structures in comparable historical districts. Microplastics (MPs) are plastic fragments with particle sizes smaller than 5 mm that have potentially harmful effects on ecosystems and human health. The soil environment is not only the source but also the sink of MPs. Thus, it is necessary to fully understand the pollution and distribution of MPs in soils. In this study, Qinghai Province, northeast of the Qinghai–Tibet Plateau, was selected as the research area, and 22 soil samples were collected and analyzed to study the levels and distribution characteristics of MPs in grassland soils. MPs were obtained from the soils by using density separation, and a laser confocal micro Raman spectrometer was used for MP identification. The results showed that MPs were detected in all of the soil samples. The total abundances of MPs ranged from 1125 to 1329 items/kg, with a mean abundance of 1202 items/kg. Various types, shapes, sizes, and colors of MPs were observed. Polyethylene terephthalate (PET) was the dominant polymer in all the grassland soil samples. The size range of 10–50 μm accounted for 50% of all identified MPs. Pellets were the dominant MP shape, and colored MPs accounted for 64% of all MPs. The results revealed the presence of large quantities of MPs in the grassland soils of remote areas as well. This study can act as a reference for further studies of MPs in terrestrial systems. In the current study, we discovered that hsa_circ_0028899 (also called circRNF10) was significantly reduced in BC tissues, and a higher level of circRNF10 was markedly related to a favorable prognosis. The results of CCK8, colony formation, Transwell, ELISA, and NK cell-mediated cytotoxicity assays indicated that increased circRNF10 expression could significantly repress the proliferation, invasion, and migration of BC cells and enhance the killing efficiency of NK cells against BC cells. According to these biological functions, the possible role and molecular mechanism of circRNF10 in BC cells were further investigated. We used bioinformatics prediction tools to predict circRNF10-bound miRNAs, which were verified by many experimental studies, including FISH, luciferase reporter assays, RIP, and Western blots. These data suggest that circRNF10 serves as a molecular sponge for miR-934 to further regulate PTEN expression and PI3k/Akt/MICA signaling in vitro and tumor growth in vivo. Cyclobutane pyrimidine dimers (CPDs) are the main mutagenic DNA photoproducts caused by ultraviolet B (UVB) radiation and represent the major cause of photoaging and skin carcinogenesis. CPD photolyase can efficiently and rapidly repair CPD products. Therefore, they are candidates for the prevention of photodamage. However, these photolyases are not present in placental mammals. In this study, we produced a recombinant photolyase-thymine (rPHO) from Thermus thermophilus (T. thermophilus). The rPHO displayed CPD photorepair activity. It prevented UVB-induced DNA damage by repairing CPD photoproducts to pyrimidine monomers. Furthermore, it inhibited UVB-induced ROS production, lipid peroxidation, inflammatory responses, and apoptosis. UVB-induced wrinkle formation, epidermal hyperplasia, and collagen degradation in mice skin was significantly inhibited when the photolyase was applied topically to the skin. These results demonstrated that rPHO has promising protective effects against UVB-induced photodamage and may contribute to the development of anti-UVB skin photodamage drugs and cosmetic products. Infrared images have good anti-environmental interference ability and can capture hot target information well, but their pictures lack rich detailed texture information and poor contrast. Visible image has clear and detailed texture information, but their imaging process depends more on the environment, and the quality of the environment determines the quality of the visible image. This paper presents an infrared image and visual image fusion algorithm based on deep learning. Two identical feature extractors are used to extract the features of visible and infrared images of different scales, fuse these features through specific fusion methods, and restore the features of visible and infrared images to the pictures through the feature restorer to make up for the deficiencies in the various photos of infrared and visible images. This paper tests infrared visual images, multi-focus images, and other data sets. The traditional image fusion algorithm is compared several with the current advanced image fusion algorithm. The experimental results show that the image fusion method proposed in this paper can keep more feature information of the source image in the fused image, and achieve excellent results in some image evaluation indexes. The AIDS pandemic is still of importance. HIV-1 and HIV-2 are the causative agents of this pandemic, and in the absence of a viable vaccine, drugs are continually required to provide quality of life for infected patients. The HIV capsid (CA) protein performs critical functions in the life cycle of HIV-1 and HIV-2, is broadly conserved across major strains and subtypes, and is underexploited. Therefore, it has become a therapeutic target of interest. Here, we report a novel series of 2-pyridone-bearing phenylalanine derivatives as HIV capsid modulators. Compound FTC-2 is the most potent anti-HIV-1 compound in the new series of compounds, with acceptable cytotoxicity in MT-4 cells (selectivity index HIV-1 > 49.57; HIV-2 > 17.08). However, compound TD-1a has the lowest EC50 in the anti-HIV-2 assays (EC50 = 4.86 ± 1.71 μM; CC50= 86.54 ± 29.24 μM). A water solubility test found that TD-1a showed a moderately increased water solubility compared with PF74, while the water solubility of FTC-2 was improved hundreds of times. Furthermore, we use molecular simulation studies to provide insight into the molecular contacts between the new compounds and HIV CA. We also computationally predict drug-like properties and metabolic stability for FTC-2 and TD-1a. Based on this analysis, TD-1a is predicted to have improved drug-like properties and metabolic stability over PF74. This study increases the repertoire of CA modulators and has important implications for developing anti-HIV agents with novel mechanisms, especially those that inhibit the often overlooked HIV-2. Computational fluid dynamics (CFD) was adopted to investigate the influence of the three-section opening strategy in the Z type centripetal radial flow reactor on the uniformity of the gas flow, which aimed to optimize the opening rate of the reactor. The simulation results showed that as the pore-opening ratio of are 10%, 16% and 29% for three sections from top to bottom of the central channel, the opening rate of the circular channel perforated plate is 10–12%, 21–25% and 30–40% from top to bottom, respectively; the uniformity of the reactor was then achieved. Through the simulation results, it was also found that the change in the opening rate at the center pipe perforated plate had a greater contribution to the gas flow mal-distribution inside the reactor. The contribution of the change in the opening rate of the annular channel perforated plate to the uniformity of the gas flow inside the reactor was smaller than that of the center pipe. The salicylic acid receptor NPR1 (nonexpressor of pathogenesis-related genes) and its paralogues NPR3 and NPR4 are master regulators of plant immunity. Commercial strawberry (Fragaria × ananassa) is a highly valued crop vulnerable to various pathogens. Historic confusions regarding the identity of NPR-like genes have hindered research in strawberry resistance. In this study, the comprehensive identification and phylogenic analysis unraveled this family, harboring 6, 6, 5, and 23 members in F. vesca, F. viridis, F. iinumae, and F. × ananassa, respectively. These genes were clustered into three clades, with each diploid member matching three to five homoalleles in F. × ananassa. Despite the high conservation in terms of gene structure, protein module, and functional residues/motifs/domains, substantial divergence was observed, hinting strawberry NPR proteins probably function in ways somewhat different from Arabidopsis. RT-PCR and RNAseq analysis evidenced the transcriptional responses of FveNPR1 and FxaNPR1a to Colletotrichum fructicola. Extended expression analysis for strawberry NPR-likes helped to us understand how strawberry orchestrate the NPRs-centered defense system against C. fructicola. The cThe current work supports that FveNPR1 and FxaNPR1a, as well as FveNPR31 and FxaNPR31a-c, were putative functional orthologues of AtNPR1 and AtNPR3/4, respectively. Black rockfish is an economically important fish in East Asia. Little mention has been paid to the sperm cryopreservation in black rockfish. In this study, the optimal cryodiluent was selected from 48 combinations by detecting various sperm parameters. Transcriptome and methylome analysis were further performed to explore the molecular mechanism of inevitable cryoinjuries. The results showed that cryopreservation had negative effects on the viability, DNA integrity, mitochondrial activity, total ATPase and LDH of sperm even with optimal cryodiluent (FBS + 15% Gly). Transcriptome and methylome analysis revealed that the expression of 179 genes and methylation of 1266 genes were affected by cryopreservation. These genes were enriched in GO terms of death, G-protein coupled receptor signaling pathway, response to external stimulus and KEGG pathways of phospholipase D signaling pathway and xenobiotic and carbohydrate metabolism pathways. The role of PIK3CA and CCNA2 were highlighted in the protein-protein interaction network, and the sperm quality-related imprinted gene mest was identified among the 7 overlapping genes between transcriptome and methylome. Overall, the cryodiluent for black rockfish sperm was optimized, providing a feasible method for cryopreservation. The transcriptome and methylome data further demonstrated the underlying molecular mechanisms of cryoinjuries, proving clues for improvement of cryopreservation method of black rockfish. Naphthalene (NAP) is a typical gaseous polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) pollutant that displays toxicological effects on biosystems. Ordered mesoporous carbon has relatively adequate adsorption capacity; however, the attached hydrophilic functional groups were proven to affect the adsorption performance in the presence of moisture. In this paper, trimethylchlorosilane (TMCS) is used to carry out the hydrophobic modification of ordered mesoporous carbon FDU-15, and the adsorption and desorption properties of FDU-15 were studied. Furthermore, the adsorption isotherms of naphthalene on FDU-15 and modified FDU-15 were fitted by L-F equation, and the kinetic parameters of desorption of naphthalene on modified FDU-15 were analyzed based on the method of temperature programming desorption (TPD). The results showed that the micropore volume and specific surface area of FDU-15 were significantly increased after hydrophobically modified by TMCS, and the polar functional groups of the hydrophobically modified FDU-15 were significantly reduced. Furthermore, the adsorption of naphthalene by FDU-15 before and after modification conformed to the L-F equation (R2 > 99%), and the adsorption of naphthalene by modified FDU-5 at low concentration was significantly improved due to the increase of micropores. Based on desorption kinetic performance study of modified FDU-15, it can be seen that the adsorption kinetic characteristics of naphthalene on the modified FDU-15 conform to the mechanical function of the JMA equation. When the mass ratio of TMCs to FDU-15 is 1:10 in the modification process, the pore structure and surface hydrophobicity of the modified FDU-15 reach an excellent balance. At this time, the adsorbent had the optimum desorption performance under experimental conditions, and the desorption activation energy was decreased from 60.98 kJ/mol of FDU-15 to 50.28 kJ/mol. People who live and work in air-conditioned rooms with micro-hypoxia are prone to sick building syndrome (SBS). Enriching oxygen into an air-conditioned room to increase the oxygen concentration can improve indoor air quality (IAQ) and reduce ventilation to save building energy consumption. In the present paper, the number and diameter of the oxygen supply vents, the oxygen supply flow rate, the oxygen supply method and the air flow organization form were comparatively studied using a numerical model. The results were compared with the experiments results in un-air-conditioned rooms, which showed that this model can give a favorable prediction. The results show that the maximum axial velocity decreases with the increase of the axial distance under air-conditioned conditions. The relationship between the oxygen-enriched area and the oxygen flow rate is obtained by fitting. The diameter of the oxygen supply pipe is 0.006 m, and when oxygen supply methods 1# and 4# are adopted, the oxygen-enriched area is F = 0.4 + 0.383 Q and F = 0.237 + 0.8 Q, respectively. Radial flow is an important type of flow direction for large-scale pressure swing adsorption (PSA) oxygen generation systems. In this study, a numerical simulation of a PSA oxygen generation process based on radial-flow adsorbers was performed with two-dimensional CFD modeling. The gas distribution, the maldistribution factor and the pressure difference were comparatively investigated at each flow type of the radial-flow adsorber. Considering the gas adsorption performance, the results indicated that the centripetal π-flow radial adsorber has the best flow characteristics for the PSA process. The oxygen purity distribution within the adsorption bed was studied to compare centripetal and centrifugal π-flows, and the former was shown to perform better on oxygen enrichment and adsorbent desorption. The steady state was achieved after eight cycles for the centripetal-π adsorber and each of the four steps of the PSA process was explored in detail to show the advantageous properties for oxygen generation in terms of adsorption and desorption. Intracranial hemorrhage (ICH) is a dreaded complication of both cancer and its treatment. To evaluate the characteristics and clinical outcomes of cancer patients with ICH, we identified all patients with ICH who visited The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center emergency department between 1 September 2006 and 16 February 2016. Clinical and radiologic data were collected and compared. Logistic regression analyses were used to determine the association between clinical variables and various outcomes. During the period studied, 704 confirmed acute ICH cases were identified. In-hospital, 7-day, and 30-day mortality rates were 15.1, 11.4, and 25.6%, respectively. Hypertension was most predictive of intensive care unit admission (OR = 1.52, 95% CI = 1.09–2.12, p = 0.013). Low platelet count was associated with both in-hospital mortality (OR = 0.96, 95% CI = 0.94–0.99, p = 0.008) and 30-day mortality (OR = 0.98, 95% CI = 0.96–1.00, p = 0.016). Radiologic findings, especially herniation and hydrocephalus, were strong predictors of short-term mortality. Among known risk factors of ICH, those most helpful in predicting cancer patient outcomes were hypertension, low platelet count, and the presence of hydrocephalus or herniation. Understanding how the clinical presentation, risk factors, and imaging findings correlate with patient morbidity and mortality is helpful in guiding the diagnostic evaluation and aggressiveness of care for ICH in cancer patients. Simple Summary: Cancer patients are at increased risk of infections and related complications, including sepsis. We developed a scoring system for mortality prediction based on readily available clinical and laboratory data, including the quick sequential organ failure assessment (qSOFA) score, cancer subtype, and several laboratory markers (procalcitonin, C-reactive protein, lactate dehydrogenase, and albumin) that can be used in emergency departments for cancer patients with suspected infection. Although C-reactive protein, procalcitonin, and lactate are popular biomarkers of sepsis, their use in guiding emergency care of cancer patients with infections is unclear. Using these biomarkers, we created a prediction model for short-term mortality in cancer patients with suspected infection. We retrospectively analyzed all consecutive patients who visited the emergency department of MD Anderson Cancer Center between 1 April 2018 and 30 April 2019. A clinical decision model was developed using multiple logistic regression for various clinical and laboratory biomarkers; coefficients were used to generate a prediction score stratifying patients into four groups according to their 14-day mortality risk. The prediction score had an area under the receiver operating characteristic curve value of 0.88 (95% confidence interval 0.85–0.91) in predicting 14-day mortality. The prediction score also accurately predicted intensive care unit admission and 30-day mortality. Coenzyme Q0 (CoQ0) has anti-inflammatory and anti-tumor effects; however, the antimicrobial and antibiofilm activities of CoQ0 against Salmonella enterica serovar Typhimurium are unknown. Thus, we investigated the bacteriostatic and antibiofilm activities, along with the underlying mechanism, of CoQ0 against S. Typhimurium. The minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) of CoQ0 against S. enterica serovars Typhimurium was 0.1–0.2 mg/mL (549–1098 µM), and CoQ0 at MIC and 2MIC decreased viable S. Typhimurium counts below detectable limits within 6 and 4 h, respectively. CoQ0 at 20MIC (4 mg/mL) reduced S. Typhimurium on raw chicken by 1.5 log CFU/cm3 within 6 h. CoQ0 effectively disrupted cell membrane integrity and induced morphological changes in the cell, resulting in hyperpolarization, decreased intracellular ATP concentrations, and cellular constituents leakage. Biofilm-associated S. Typhimurium cells were killed by CoQ0 treatment. These findings suggest that CoQ0 could be applied as a natural antibacterial substance for use against S. This study comprehensively evaluates eight satellite-based precipitation datasets in streamflow simulations on a monsoon-climate watershed in China. Two mutually independent datasets—one dense-gauge and one gauge-interpolated dataset—are used as references because commonly used gauge-interpolated datasets may be biased and unable to reflect the real performance of satellite-based precipitation due to sparse networks. The dense-gauge dataset includes a substantial number of gauges, which can better represent the spatial variability of precipitation. Eight satellite-based precipitation datasets include two raw satellite datasets, Precipitation Estimation from Remotely Sensed Information using Artificial Neural Networks (PERSIANN) and Climate Prediction Center MORPHing raw satellite dataset (CMORPH RAW); four satellite-gauge datasets, Tropical Rainfall Measuring Mission 3B42 (TRMM), PERSIANN Climate Data Record (PERSIANN CDR), CMORPH bias-corrected (CMORPH CRT), and gauge blended datasets (CMORPH BLD); and two satellite-reanalysis-gauge datasets, Multi-Source Weighted-Ensemble Precipitation (MSWEP) and Climate Hazards Group InfraRed Precipitation with Stations (CHIRPS). The uncertainty related to hydrologic model physics is investigated using two different hydrological models. A set of statistical indices is utilized to comprehensively evaluate the precipitation datasets from different perspectives, including detection, systematic, random errors, and precision for simulating extreme precipitation. Results show that CMORPH BLD and MSWEP generally perform better than other datasets. In terms of hydrological simulations, all satellite-based datasets show significant dampening effects for the random error during the transformation process from precipitation to runoff; however, these effects cannot hold for the systematic error. Even though different hydrological models indeed introduce uncertainties to the simulated hydrological processes, the relative hydrological performance of the satellite-based datasets is consistent in both models. Namely, CMORPH BLD performs the best, which is followed by MSWEP, CMORPH CRT, and TRMM. PERSIANN CDR and CHIRPS perform moderately well, and two raw satellite datasets are not recommended as proxies of gauged observations for their worse performances. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Plant specific NAC (NAM, ATAF1/2 and CUC2) transcription factors (TFs) play important roles in response to abiotic stress. In this study, we identified and characterized a NAC protein, ThNAC7, from Tamarix hispida. ThNAC7 is a nuclear localized protein and has transcriptional activation activity. ThNAC7 expression was markedly induced by salt and osmotic stresses. Transiently transformed T. hispida seedlings overexpressing ThNAC7 (OE) or with RNA interference (RNAi) silenced ThNAC7 were generated to investigate abiotic stress tolerance via the gain- and loss- of function. Overexpressing ThNAC7 showed an increased reactive oxygen species (ROS) scavenging capabilities and proline content, which was accomplished by enhancing the activities of superoxide dismutase (SOD) and peroxidase (POD) in transiently transformed T. hispida and stably transformed Arabidopsis plants. Additionally, ThNAC7 activated these physiological changes by regulating the transcription level of P5CS, SOD and PODgenes. RNA-sequencing (RNA-seq) comparison between wild-type and ThNAC7-transformed Arabidopsis showed that more than 40 known salt tolerance genes might regulated by ThNAC7, including stress tolerance-related genes and TF genes. The results indicated that ThNAC7 induces the transcription level of genes associated with stress tolerance to enhance salt and osmotic stress tolerance via an increase in osmotic potential and enhanced ROS scavenging. The adsorption of three typical polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), naphthalene, phenanthrene, and pyrene with different ring numbers, on a common mesoporous material (MCM-41) was simulated based on a well-validated model. The adsorption equilibriums (isotherms), states (angle distributions and density profiles), and interactions (radial distribution functions) of three PAHs within the mesopores were studied in detail. The results show that the simulated isotherms agreed with previous experimental results. Each of the PAHs with flat molecules showed an adsorption configuration that was parallel to the surface of the pore, in the following order according to the degree of arrangement: pyrene (Pyr) > phenanthrene (Phe) > naphthalene (Nap). In terms of the interaction forces, there were no hydrogen bonds or other strong polar forces between the PAHs and MCM-41, and the O–H bond on the adsorbent surface had a unique angle in relation to the PAH molecular plane. The polarities of different H atoms on the PAHs were roughly the same, while those of the C atoms on the PAHs decreased from the molecular centers to the edges. The increasing area of the π-electron plane on the PAHs with the increasing ring number could lead to stronger adsorption interactions, and thus a shorter distance between the adsorbate and the adsorbent. Recovery and treatment of methane from coal mine ventilation air methane (VAM) with cost-effective technologies have been an ongoing challenge due to low methane concentrations. In this study, a type of coconut shell-based active carbon was employed to enrich VAM with a three-bed vacuum pressure swing adsorption unit. A new vacuum exhaust step for the VPSA process was introduced. The results show that the vacuum exhaust step can increase the methane concentration of the product without changing adsorption and desorption pressure. Under laboratory conditions, the concentration of product increased from 0.4% to 0.69% as the vacuum exhaust ratio increased from 0 to 3.1 when the feed gas concentration was 0.2%. A 500 m³/h pilot-scale test system for VAM enrichment was built rendering good correlation with the laboratory results in terms of the vacuum exhaust step. Research on workplace helping behavior highlights the need for a more balanced perspective that acknowledges both the positive and negative consequences of receiving help. The purpose of this study is to investigate how the mechanisms through which we receive autonomous and dependent help differentially impact recipient task performance, as well as the boundary condition for such effects. Drawing on social information theory, we examined the mediating role of task- and self-focused processes, and the moderating role of perceived prosocial motivation. Through a two-wave and two-source field survey, we collected matched data from 350 employees and their direct supervisors. We examined our hypothesized model with path analysis using Mplus 7.4. Results indicated that receiving autonomous help improved task performance by leading recipients into task-focused processes, and perceived prosocial motivation further strengthened this positive indirect relationship. In contrast, receiving dependent help reduced task performance by eliciting recipients to engage in self-focused processes, and perceived prosocial motivation further augmented this negative indirect relationship. Overall, we spotlight the differential consequences of receiving autonomous and dependent help on recipients and encourage further inquiry about the role of social information processing in the helping literature.

Multi-fluid micromixing, which has rarely been explored, typically represents a highly sought-after technique in on-chip biochemical and biomedical assays. Herein, we propose a novel micromixing approach utilizing induced-charge electroosmosis (ICEO) to implement multicomplex mixing between parallel streams. The variations of ICEO microvortices above a sinusoidally shaped floating electrode (SSFE) are first investigated to better understand the microvortex development and the resultant mixing process within a confined channel. On this basis, a mathematical model of the vortex index is newly developed to predict the mixing degree along the microchannel. The negative exponential distribution obtained between the vortex index and mixing index demonstrates an efficient model to describe the mixing performance without solving the coupled diffusion and momentum equations. Specifically, sufficient mixing with a mixing index higher than 0.9 can be achieved when the vortex index exceeds 51, and the mixing efficiency reaches a plateau at an AC frequency close to 100 Hz. Further, a rectangle floating electrode (RFE) is deposited before SSFE to enhance the controlled sequence for three-fluid mixing. One side fluid can fully mix with the middle fluid with a mixing index of 0.623 above RFE in the first mixing stage and achieve entire-channel mixing with a mixing index of 0.983 above SSFE in the second mixing stage, thereby enabling on-demand sequential mixing. As a proof of concept, this work can provide a robust alternative technique for multi-objective issues and structural design related to mixers.

Emotion recognition based on physiological signals has been a hot topic and applied in many areas such as safe driving, health care and social security. In this paper, we present a comprehensive review on physiological signal-based emotion recognition, including emotion models, emotion elicitation methods, the published emotional physiological datasets, features, classifiers, and the whole framework for emotion recognition based on the physiological signals. A summary and comparation among the recent studies has been conducted, which reveals the current existing problems and the future work has been discussed.
