The Ficus genus, having radiated from the tropics and subtropics to the temperate zone worldwide, is the largest genus among woody plants, comprising over 800 species. Evolution of the Ficus species results in genetic diversity, global radiation and geographical differentiations, suggesting adaption to diverse environments and coping with stresses. Apart from familiar physiological changes, such as stomatal closure and alteration in plant hormone levels, the Ficus species exhibit a unique mechanism in response to abiotic stress, such as regulation of leaf temperature and retention of drought memory. The stress-resistance genes harbored by Ficus result in effective responses to abiotic stress. Understanding the stress-resistance mechanisms in Ficus provides insights into the genetic breeding toward stress-tolerant crop cultivars. Following upon these issues, we comprehensively reviewed recent progress concerning the Ficus genes and relevant mechanisms that play important roles in the abiotic stress responses. 'Hangju' is a variety of Chrysanthemum × morifolium Ramat. with both edible and medicinal value, cultivated as a traditional Chinese medicine for four centuries. The cultivation of 'Hangju' is currently at risk due to waterlogging, yet there is a lack of comprehensive understanding regarding its response to waterlogging stress. This study compared the waterlogging-tolerant 'Hangju' variety Enhanced Waterlogging Tolerance (EWT) with the waterlogging-sensitive variety CK ('zaoxiaoyangju'). EWT exhibited a more developed aeration tissue structure and demonstrated rapid growth regarding the adventitious roots following waterlogging. The time-course transcriptome analysis indicated that EWT could swiftly adjust the expression of the genes involved in the energy metabolism signaling pathways to acclimate to the waterlogged environment. Through WGCNA analysis, we identified Integrase-Type DNA-Binding Protein (CmTINY2) as a key factor in regulating the waterlogging tolerance in EWT. CmTINY2, a transcription factor belonging to the ethylene-responsive factor (ERF) subfamily III, operated within the nucleus and activated downstream gene expression. Its role in enhancing the waterlogging tolerance might be linked to the control of the stomatal aperture via the Ethylene-Responsive Element (ERE) gene. In summary, our research elucidated that the waterlogging tolerance displayed by EWT is a result of a combination of the morphological structure and molecular regulatory mechanisms. Fly ash–slag-based alkali-activated materials have excellent mechanical performance and a low carbon footprint, and they have emerged as a promising alternative to Portland cement. Therefore, replacing traditional Portland cement with slag–desulfurization gypsum-based alkali-activated materials will help to make better use of the waste, protect the environment, and improve the materials' performance. In order to better understand it and thus better use it in engineering, it needs to be characterized for performance and compositional design. This study developed a novel framework for performance characterization and composition design by combining Categorical Gradient Boosting (CatBoost), simplicial homology global optimization (SHGO), and laboratory tests. The CatBoost characterization model was evaluated and discussed based on SHapley Additive exPlanations (SHAPs) and a partial dependence plot (PDP). Through the proposed framework, the optimal composition of the slag–desulfurization gypsum-based alkali-activated materials with the maximum flexural strength and compressive strength at 1, 3, and 7 days is Ca(OH)2: 3.1%, fly ash: 2.6%, DG: 0.53%, alkali: 4.3%, modulus: 1.18, and W/G: 0.49. Compared with the material composition obtained from the traditional experiment, the actual flexural strength and compressive strength at 1, 3, and 7 days increased by 26.67%, 6.45%, 9.64%, 41.89%, 9.77%, and 7.18%, respectively. In addition, the results of the optimal composition obtained by laboratory tests are very close to the predictions of the developed framework, which shows that CatBoost characterizes the performance well based on test data. The shoot apical meristem culture has been used widely to produce virus-free plantlets which have the advantages of strong disease resistance, high yield, and prosperous growth potential. However, this virus-free plant will be naturally reinfected in the field. The physiological and metabolic responses in the reinfected plant are still unknown. The flower of chrysanthemum 'Hangju' is a traditional medicine which is unique to China. In this study, we found that the virus-free 'Hangju' (VFH) was reinfected with chrysanthemum virus B/R in the field. However, the reinfected VFH (RVFH) exhibited an increased yield and medicinal components compared with virus-infected 'Hangju' (VIH). Comparative analysis of transcriptomes was performed to explore the molecular response mechanisms of the RVFH to CVB infection. A total of 6223 differentially expressed genes (DEGs) were identified in the RVFH vs. the VIH. KEGG enrichment and physiological analyses indicated that treatment with the virus-free technology significantly mitigated the plants' lipid and galactose metabolic stress responses in the RVFH. Furthermore, GO enrichment showed that plant viral diseases affected salicylic acid (SA)-related processes in the RVFH. Specifically, we found that phenylalanine ammonia-lyase (PAL) genes played a major role in defense-related SA biosynthesis in 'Hangju'. These findings provided new insights into the molecular mechanisms underlying plant virus–host interactions and have implications for developing strategies to improve plant resistance against viruses. Aluminum-ion batteries (AIBs) have become a research hotspot in the field of energy storage due to their high energy density, safety, environmental friendliness, and low cost. However, the actual capacity of AIBs is much lower than the theoretical specific capacity, and their cycling stability is poor. The exploration of energy storage mechanisms may help in the design of stable electrode materials, thereby contributing to improving performance. In this work, molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) was selected as the host material for AIBs, and carbon nanofibers (CNFs) were used as the substrate to prepare a molybdenum disulfide/carbon nanofibers (MoS2/CNFs) electrode, exhibiting a residual reversible capacity of 53 mAh g−1 at 100 mA g−1 after 260 cycles. The energy storage mechanism was understood through a combination of electrochemical characterization and first-principles calculations. The purpose of this study is to investigate the diffusion behavior of ions in different channels in the host material and its potential energy storage mechanism. The computational analysis and experimental results indicate that the electrochemical behavior of the battery is determined by the ion transport mechanism between MoS2 layers. The insertion of ions leads to lattice distortion in the host material, significantly impacting its initial stability. CNFs, serving as a support material, not only reduce the agglomeration of MoS2 grown on its surface, but also effectively alleviate the volume expansion caused by the host material during charging and discharging cycles. Beijing Satellite 3 is a high-performance optical remote sensing satellite with a spatial resolution of 0.3–0.5 m. It can provide timely and independent ultra-high-resolution spatial big data and comprehensive spatial information application services. At present, there is no relevant research on the fusion method of BJ-3A satellite images. In many applications, high-resolution panchromatic images alone are insufficient. Therefore, it is necessary to fuse them with multispectral images that contain spectral color information. Currently, there is a lack of research on the fusion method of BJ-3A satellite images. This article explores six traditional pixel-level fusion methods (HPF, HCS, wavelet, modified-IHS, PC, and Brovey) for fusing the panchromatic image and multispectral image of the BJ-3A satellite. The fusion results were analyzed qualitatively from two aspects: spatial detail enhancement capability and spectral fidelity. Five indicators, namely mean, standard deviation, entropy, correlation coefficient, and average gradient, were used for quantitative analysis. Finally, the fusion results were comprehensively evaluated from three aspects: spectral curves of ground objects, absolute error figure, and object-oriented classification effects. The findings of the research suggest that the fusion method known as HPF is the optimum and appropriate technique for fusing panchromatic and multispectral images obtained from BJ-3A. There has been a significant shift in research focus in recent years toward laser-induced graphene (LIG), which is a high-performance material with immense potential for use in energy storage, ultrahydrophobic water applications, and electronic devices. In particular, LIG has demonstrated considerable potential in the field of high-precision human motion posture capture using flexible sensing materials. In this study, we investigated the surface morphology evolution and performance of LIG formed by varying the laser energy accumulation times. Further, to capture human motion posture, we evaluated the performance of highly accurate flexible wearable sensors based on LIG. The experimental results showed that the sensors prepared using LIG exhibited exceptional flexibility and mechanical performance when the laser energy accumulation was optimized three times. They exhibited remarkable attributes, such as high sensitivity (~41.4), a low detection limit (0.05%), a rapid time response (response time of ~150 ms; relaxation time of ~100 ms), and excellent response stability even after 2000 s at a strain of 1.0% or 8.0%. These findings unequivocally show that flexible wearable sensors based on LIG have significant potential for capturing human motion posture, wrist pulse rates, and eye blinking patterns. Streptococcus suis (S. suis) is a zoonotic pathogen with multiple serotypes, and thus, multivalent vaccines generating cross-protection against S. suis infections are urgently needed to improve animal welfare and reduce antibiotic abuse. In this study, we established a systematic and comprehensive epitope prediction pipeline based on immunoinformatics. Ten candidate epitopes were ultimately selected for building the multi-epitope vaccine (MVSS) against S. suis infections. The ten epitopes of MVSS were all derived from highly conserved, immunogenic, and virulence-associated surface proteins in S. suis. In silico analyses revealed that MVSS was structurally stable and affixed with immune receptors, indicating that it would likely trigger strong immunological reactions in the host. Furthermore, mice models demonstrated that MVSS elicited high titer antibodies and diminished damages in S. suis serotype 2 and Chz infection, significantly reduced sequelae, induced cytokine transcription, and decreased organ bacterial burdens after triple vaccination. Meanwhile, anti-rMVSS serum inhibited five important S. suis serotypes in vitro, exerted beneficial protective effects against S. suis infections and significantly reduced histopathological damage in mice. Carbon allocation in forest ecosystems is essential for the optimization of growth. However, remote-sensing-based research on the estimation of carbon allocation in forests is inadequate. This article considers forests in northeastern China as the research area and uses leaf area index (LAI) data combined with random forest and structural equation modelling methods to study the spatiotemporal distribution characteristics and driving factors of carbon allocation to leaves (ΔLAI) in deciduous broad-leaved forests (DBF), deciduous coniferous forests (DNF), and mixed forests (MF) during the green-up period (GUP) at a monthly scale during April, May, June, and July from 2001 to 2021, and clarifies the impact of leaf carbon allocation on gross primary productivity (GPP). The ΔLAI was the highest in DBF in April and in DNF and MF in May. The ΔLAI in April with an increasing trend year by year in DBF and MF, and the ΔLAI in May with an increasing trend in DNF. Among all the direct and indirect relationships that affect ΔLAI, temperature (TEM) has the highest path coefficient for DBF's ΔLAI in April (−1.213) and the start of the season (SOS) has the highest path coefficient for DNF (−1.186) and MF (0.815). ΔLAI in the GUP has a significant positive impact on the GPP. In the MF, the higher ΔLAI in May was most conducive to an increase in GPP. During the critical period, that is April and May, carbon allocation to leaves effectively improves the carbon sequestration capacity of forestland. Short-term power load forecasting refers to the use of load and weather information to forecast the Day-ahead load, which is very important for power dispatch and the establishment of the power spot market. In this manuscript, a comprehensive study on the frame of input data for electricity load forecasting is proposed based on the extreme gradient boosting algorithm. Periodicity was the first of the historical load data to be analyzed using discrete Fourier transform, autocorrelation function, and partial autocorrelation function to determine the key width of a sliding window for an optimization load feature. The mean absolute error (MAE) of the frame reached 52.04 using a boosting model with a 7-day width in the validation dataset. Second, the fusing of datetime variables and meteorological information factors was discussed in detail and determined how to best improve performance. The datetime variables were determined as a form of integer, sine–cosine pairs, and Boolean-type combinations, and the meteorological features were determined as a combination with 540 features from 15 sampled sites, which further decreased MAE to 44.32 in the validation dataset. Last, a training method for day-ahead forecasting was proposed to combine the Minkowski distance to determine the historical span. Under this framework, the performance has been significantly improved without any tuning for the boosting algorithm. The proposed method further decreased MAE to 37.84. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed method is evaluated using a 200-day load dataset from the Estonian grid. The achieved MAE of 41.69 outperforms other baseline models, with MAE ranging from 65.03 to 104.05. This represents a significant improvement of 35.89% over the method currently employed by the European Network of Transmission System Operators for Electricity (ENTSO-E). In order to investigate the antioxidant activity of Elaeagnus umbellata polysaccharides, the physicochemical characteristics of purified Elaeagnus umbellata polysaccharides (EUP, consisting of two fractions, EUP1 and EUP2) were investigated using UV spectrophotometry, high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), high-performance gel permeation chromatography (HPGPC), and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR). This revealed that EUP1 and EUP2 were acidic polysaccharides with an average molecular weight (MW) of 63 and 38 kDa, respectively. EUP1 mainly consisted of L-rhamnose and D-galactose in a molar ratio of 2.05:1, and EUP2 consisted of D-mannose, L-rhamnose, D-galactose, and D-arabinose in a molar ratio of 2.06:1:2.78:1. Furthermore, EUP exhibited considerable antioxidant potential for scavenging hydroxyl, superoxide anion, DPPH, and ABTS radicals. Transition delaying is of great importance for the drag and heat flux reduction of hypersonic flight vehicles. The first mode, with low frequency, and the second mode, with high frequency, exist simultaneously during the transition through the hypersonic boundary layer. This paper proposes a novel bi-frequency synthetic jet to suppress low- and high-frequency disturbances at the same time. Orthogonal table and variance analyses were used to compare the control effects of jets with different positions (USJ or DSJ), low frequencies (f1), high frequencies (f2), and amplitudes (a). Linear stability analysis results show that, in terms of the growth rate varying with the frequency of disturbance, an upstream synthetic jet (USJ) with a specific frequency and amplitude can hinder the growth of both the first and second modes, thereby delaying the transition. On the other hand, a downstream synthetic jet (DSJ), regardless of other parameters, increases flow instability and accelerates the transition, with higher frequencies and amplitudes resulting in greater growth rates for both modes. Low frequencies had a significant effect on the first mode, but a weak effect on the second mode, whereas high frequencies demonstrated a favorable impact on both the first and second modes. In terms of the growth rate varying with the spanwise wave number, the control rule of the same parameter under different spanwise wave numbers was different, resulting in a complex pattern. In order to obtain the optimal delay effect upon transition and improve the stability of the flow, the parameters of the bi-synthetic jet should be selected as follows: position it upstream, with f1 = 3.56 kHz, f2 = 89.9 kHz, a = 0.009, so that the maximum growth rate of the first mode is reduced by 9.06% and that of the second mode is reduced by 1.28% compared with the uncontrolled state, where flow field analysis revealed a weakening of the twin lattice structure of pressure pulsation. Satellite data and algorithms directly affect the accuracy of phenological estimation; therefore, it is necessary to compare and verify existing phenological models to identify the optimal combination of data and algorithms across the Mongolian Plateau (MP). This study used five phenology fitting algorithms—double logistic (DL) and polynomial fitting (Poly) combined with the dynamic threshold method at thresholds of 35% and 50% (DL-G35, DL-G50, Poly-G35, and Poly-G50) and DL combined with the cumulative curvature extreme value method (DL-CUM)—and two data types—the enhanced vegetation index (EVI) and solar-induced chlorophyll fluorescence (SIF)—to identify the start (SOS), peak (POS), and end (EOS) of the growing season in alpine meadow (ALM), desert steppe (DRS), forest vegetation (FV), meadow grassland (MEG), and typical grassland (TYG) of the MP. The optimal methods for identifying the SOS, POS, and EOS of typical grassland areas were Poly-G50 (NSE = 0.12, Pbias = 0.22%), DL-G35/50 (NSE = −0.01, Pbias = −0.06%), and Poly-G35 (NSE = 0.02, Pbias = 0.08%), respectively, based on SIF data. The best methods for identifying the SOS, POS, and EOS of desert steppe areas were Poly-G35 (NSE = −0.27, Pbias = −1.49%), Poly-G35/50 (NSE = −0.58, Pbias = −1.39%), and Poly-G35 (NSE = 0.29, Pbias = −0.61%), respectively, based on EVI data. The data source explained most of the differences in phenological estimates. The accuracy of polynomial fitting was significantly greater than that of the DL method, while all methods were better at identifying SOS and POS than they were at identifying EOS. Our findings can help to facilitate the establishment of a phenological estimation system suitable for the Mongolian Plateau and improve the observation methods of vegetation phenology. As a novel method to prepare graphene, the laser-induced graphene (LIG) technology has numerous outstanding properties and has been widely applied in various fields. Nevertheless, the challenge remains to easily and efficiently prepare multifunctional surfaces of graphene through laser microregulation and fine structure design. Here, we successfully fabricated a micron-structure gully graphene surface with hydrophobicity and electrothermal functionality under atmospheric conditions using a 10.6 μm CO2 laser to directly write on the surface of a polyimide film (PI). The impact of the laser scanning speed on the surface morphology and chemical composition of the product was investigated by analyzing the SEM (scanning electron microscope) observations and Raman spectra, respectively. The mechanical stability of the surface was studied by analyzing the contact angle of water droplets on the surface after mechanical circulation and the delayed icing effect after repeated icing. The deicing and anti-icing performance of the surface were analyzed based on its resistance to surface icing and electric deicing time. According to the experimental results, we first observed a linear negative correlation between the generated structure linewidth and the laser scanning speed. Additionally, we successfully achieved one-step preparation of primitive continuous graphene structures with a superhydrophobic capability (151°). Furthermore, our findings indicate that micron-structured graphene surfaces exhibit excellent mechanical stability, effectively delay icing formation, and demonstrate efficient electric deicing effects. These results demonstrate the potential application of CO2 laser-induced graphene technology in the field of surface preparation for deicing and anti-icing. This work offers a novel one-step approach for the fabrication of micron-structured heatable graphene surfaces with simultaneous superhydrophobicity, deicing, and anti-icing functionalities on polymer substrates. Chrysanthemum × morifolium Ramat. is a famous perennial herb with medicinal, edible, and ornamental purposes, but the occurrence of plant diseases can reduce its value. A serious disease that caused leaf spots in C. morifolium appeared in 2022 in Tongxiang City, Zhejiang Province, China. The C. morifolium leaves with brown spots were collected and used for pathogen isolation. By completing Koch's postulates, it was proven that the isolate had pathogenicity to infect C. morifolium. It was determined that the pathogen isolated from chrysanthemum leaves was Nigrospora oryzae, through morphology and a multilocus sequence analysis method using a combination of the internal transcribed spacer gene (ITS), beta-tubulin gene (TUB2), and translation elongation factor 1-alpha gene (TEF1-α). This is the first report of C. morifolium disease caused by N. oryzae in the world. Through dual culture assay on PDA plates, 12 strains of bacteria with antagonistic effects were selected from 231 strains from the C. morifolium phyllosphere, among which Bacillus siamensis D65 had the best inhibitory effect on N. oryzae growth. In addition, the components of a strain D65 fermentation broth were profiled by SPME-GC-Q-TOF analysis, providing a foundation for further application and research of biological control. With the proliferation and development of social media platforms, social media data have become an important source for acquiring spatiotemporal information on various urban events. Providing accurate spatiotemporal information for events contributes to enhancing the capabilities of urban management and emergency responses. However, existing research regarding mining spatiotemporal information of events often solely focuses on textual content and neglects data from other modalities such as images and videos. Therefore, this study proposes an innovative spatiotemporal information extraction method, which extracts the spatiotemporal information of events from multimodal data on Weibo at coarse- and fine-grained hierarchical levels and serves as a beneficial supplement to existing urban event monitoring methods. This paper utilizes the "20 July 2021 Zhengzhou Heavy Rainfall" incident as an example to evaluate and analyze the effectiveness of the proposed method. Results indicate that in coarse-grained spatial information extraction using only textual data, our method achieved a spatial precision of 87.54% within a 60 m range and reached 100% spatial precision for ranges beyond 200 m. For fine-grained spatial information extraction, the introduction of other modal data, such as images and videos, resulted in a significant improvement in spatial error. These results demonstrate the ability of the MIST-SMMD (Method of Identifying Spatiotemporal Information of Social Media Multimodal Data) to extract spatiotemporal information from urban events at both coarse and fine levels and confirm the significant advantages of multimodal data in enhancing the precision of spatial information extraction. In the process of inspecting the self-exploding defects of power line insulators, traditional algorithms suffer from various issues such as long detection time, insufficient accuracy, and difficulties in effective detection under complex environments. To address these problems, we introduce an advanced one-stage object detection algorithm called YOLOv5s, which offers fast training and excellent detection performance. In this paper, we applied the YOLOv5s algorithm to improve the detection precision and classification accuracy of insulator self-explosions. To further enhance the YOLOv5s algorithm, we introduced a BiFPN (Bidirectional Feature Pyramid Network) module for feature fusion. This module improved the feature fusion process by learning the importance weights of different input features, considering their contributions. To tackle the challenge of detecting small objects in the self-exploding insulator dataset, we incorporated an SPD (spatial-to-depth convolution) module that focuses on capturing features in small regions and utilizes one-step convolution layers to avoid losing fine-grained information. To address the issue of high similarity between self-exploding insulator regions and intact insulator regions, we introduced an attention mechanism that concentrates attention on the defective insulator regions to gather more information about insulator defects. Experimental results validate that all three improvement methods significantly enhance detection precision. The final model achieves improvements of 2.0% in precision, 0.9% in recall, and 1.5% in average detection accuracy. Urbanization has led to enormous pressure on the urban ecological environment, especially in coastal cities. It is important to evaluate the ecological quality of coastal cities. We compared the remote sensing-based ecological index (RSEI) and the water benefit-based ecological index (WBEI) indices of Fuzhou City, and selected the WBEI to assess the changes in the quality of the ecological environment in Fuzhou City from 2000 to 2020 and analyzed the relevant changes in land intensity. The results show that (1) the Fuzhou WBEI outperforms the RSEI in the evaluation of ecological quality in the study area, since the WBEI takes into account water efficiency and can more accurately represent the ecological environment of coastal cities; (2) during 2000–2020, the overall trend of ecological quality in Fuzhou is better, with nonsignificant decreasing areas in the western and northern mountainous areas and a significant increasing trend in the southeast coast; and (3) different land use types influence the urban ecological environment quality, with forests and man-made surfaces having a good correlation with the WBEI. The increase in forests contributes to the improvement of urban ecological environment quality, and the conversion of high-intensity arable land and construction land decreases urban ecological environment quality. This study can provide a basic reference for the assessment of ecological environment quality in Fuzhou City and provide experience for the ecological environment assessment of coastal cities. The presence of calcareous concretions on the surface of marine archaeological ceramics is a frequently observed phenomenon. It is necessary to remove these materials when the deposits obscure the feature of ceramics. Unfortunately, calcareous concretions provide distinctive documentation of the burning history of ceramics. The interaction of acid solution or detachment of the deposit layers in physical ways leads to the loss of archeological information. To prevent the loss of archeological information and to achieve precise and gentle concretion removal, responsive hydrogel cleaning systems have been developed. The hydrogels synthesized are composed of networks of poly(vinyl acetate)/sodium alginate that exhibit desirable water retention properties, are responsive to Ca2+ ions, and do not leave any residues after undergoing cleaning treatment. Four distinct compositions were selected. The study of water retention properties involved quantifying the weight changes. The composition was obtained from Fourier transform infrared spectra. The microstructure was obtained from scanning electron microscopy. The mechanical properties were obtained from rheological measurements. To demonstrate both the efficiency and working mechanism of the selected hydrogels, a representative study of mocked samples is presented first. After selecting the most appropriate hydrogel composite, a cleaning process was implemented on the marine archaeological ceramics. This article demonstrates the advantages of stimuli-responsive hydrogels in controlling the release of acid solution release, thereby surpassing the limitations of traditional cleaning methods. To investigate the effects of domestic sewage on the photosynthesis and chromium migration of plants in chromium-contaminated constructed wetlands, small vertical flow constructed wetlands of Coix lacryma-jobi L. were set up. These wetlands were used to treat wastewater containing 0, 20, and 40 mg/L of hexavalent chromium (Cr (VI)), prepared with domestic sewage (DS), 1/2 Hoagland nutrient solution (NS), and 1/2 Hoagland nutrient solution prepared with domestic wastewater (DN), respectively. The aim was to investigate the effects of domestic sewage on indicators, such as plant growth and chromium accumulation. The results were as follows: (1) Plant heights were significantly inhibited under 20 mg/L and 40 mg/L Cr (VI) treatments, and stem diameters were not significantly affected. The use of domestic sewage in treatment alleviated the inhibition of Cr (VI) on the growth of Coix lacryma-jobi L. (2) Indicators such as root activity, photosynthetic gas exchange, and chlorophyll fluorescence properties significantly decreased with the increase in Cr (VI) concentration. The values of these photosynthetic gas exchange parameters under the DN treatment were the greatest, followed by NS and DS. On the 70th day of Cr (VI) treatment, the net photosynthetic rate (Pn) under the DN treatment was significantly higher than that under NS and DS treatments. (3) Glutathione (GSH) content in roots, stems, and leaves of Coix lacryma-jobi L. significantly increased with the increase in Cr concentration, and it increased more significantly under the DN and DS treatments than under the NS treatment. (4) With the same Cr treatment, the Cr content in roots, stems, and leaves of Coix lacryma-jobi L. under the NS treatment was the highest, followed by DS and DN. The total Cr content in the substrate under the DN treatment was the highest, followed by DS and NS. (5) The addition of domestic sewage reduced the Cr (VI) content in the water sample and increased the organic matter content. The Cr (VI) content in the water sample under the NS treatment was the highest, followed by DS and DN. The addition of domestic sewage increased the accumulation of chromium in the substrate, decreased the absorption of chromium by plants, increased GSH content in roots, stems, and leaves, alleviated the damage of Cr (VI) to plants, and thus benefited the growth of Coix lacryma-jobi L. in the constructed wetlands and ensured the sustainable and stable operation of the wetlands. The Inner Asian Mountain Corridor (IAMC) has been identified as a major pathway for the westward dispersal of millet from Northern China, where it was initially cultivated. Cross-disciplinary investigations are necessary to distinguish cultivated millet taxa from their wild relatives and to clarify the social context underlying millet adoption in novel environments. Despite the ambiguity in distinguishing Setaria italica from Panicum miliaceum or other Setaria species using conventional analysis of charred macro remains, recent attention has focused on the time gap between the introduction of S. italica to IAMC following P. miliaceum. Here, we employed a pottery impression casting method on materials from four Bronze Age sites in eastern/southeastern Kazakhstan to investigate the surface textures of grain impressions on the surface of pottery containers. We successfully identified both millets (Setaeria and Panicum) from three of the sites, Begash, Tasbas, and Dali in the IAMC. Based on our findings, two species of millet were introduced to the region within a much shorter range of time than previously estimated. Roller Compacted Concrete (RCC) dams are critical infrastructure, playing an important role in economic and social development. However, dam failure can cause great losses. To mitigate hazards, studies of methods to deal with the uncertainty involved in the comprehensive evaluation process of the safety state of RCC dams are hot issues. Interval number theory is applied to quantify the uncertainty in this study. A comprehensive evaluation indicator system is explored, an approach to allocating the indicator weight rationally is proposed, and a comprehensive evaluation model is established. Comprehensive evaluation standards are developed. An RCC dam in China is used to illustrate the applicability of this comprehensive evaluation method based on interval number theory. The results indicate that the method and models proposed are suitable for comprehensively evaluating the safety state of RCC dams and can be used as a new procedure to monitor the safety of an RCC dam. By analyzing the China's hazardous waste management policy and the existing problems in hazardous waste management, the elements of hazardous waste management in oil and gas exploration enterprises were identified. Based on the theory of life-cycle management under the concept of sustainable development, combined with literature research, a three-level comprehensive index system was constructed by using the AHP–entropy weight method to evaluate the hazardous waste management capability of oil and gas enterprises. It was proposed that oil and gas enterprises should further strengthen the life-cycle management of hazardous waste, strengthen the assessment of hazardous waste management capacity, continuously establish a sound hazardous waste supervision system, and actively build a hazardous waste information control platform to realize the whole-process tracking management, as well as other suggestions. Paeonol (PAE) is a hydrophobic drug. In this study, we encapsulated paeonol in a lipid bilayer of liposomes (PAE-L), which delayed drug release and increased drug solubility. When PAE-L was dispersed in gels (PAE-L-G) based on a poloxamer matrix material for local transdermal delivery, we observed amphiphilicity, reversible thermal responsiveness, and micellar self-assembly behavior. These gels can be used for atopic dermatitis (AD), an inflammatory skin disease, to change the surface temperature of the skin. In this study, we prepared PAE-L-G at an appropriate temperature for the treatment of AD. We then assessed the gel's relevant physicochemical properties, in vitro cumulative drug release, and antioxidant properties. We found that PAE-loaded liposomes could be designed to increase the drug effect of thermoreversible gels. At 32 °C, PAE-L-G could change from solution state to gelatinous state at 31.70 ± 0.42 s, while the viscosity was 136.98 ± 0.78 MPa.S and the free radical scavenging rates on DPPH and H2O2 were 92.24 ± 5.57% and 92.12 ± 2.71%, respectively. Drug release across the extracorporeal dialysis membrane reached 41.76 ± 3.78%. In AD-like mice, PAE-L-G could also relieve skin damage by the 12th day. The object detection task usually assumes that the training and test samples obey the same distribution, and this assumption is not valid in reality, therefore the study of cross-domain object detection is proposed. Compared with image classification, the cross-domain object detection task presents the greater challenge, which requires both accurate classification and localization of samples in the target domain. The teacher–student framework (the student model is supervised by pseudo-labels from the teacher model) has produced a large accuracy improvement in cross-domain object detection. Feature-level adversarial training is used in the student model, which allows features in the source and target domains to share a similar distribution. However, the direction and gradient of the weights can be divided into domain-specific and domain-invariant features, and the purpose of domain adaptive is to focus on the domain-invariant features while eliminating interference from the domain-specific features. Inspired by this, we propose a teacher–student framework named dual adaptive branch (DAB), which uses domain adversarial learning to address the domain distribution. Specifically, we ensure that the student model aligns domain-invariant features and suppresses domain-specific features in this process. We further validate our method based on multiple domains. The experimental results demonstrate that our proposed method significantly improves the performance of cross-domain object detection and achieves the competitive experimental results on common benchmarks. The development of a highly efficient, visible-light responsive catalyst for environment purification has been a long-standing exploit, with obstacles to overcome, including inefficient capture of near-infrared photons, undesirable recombination of photo-generated carriers, and insufficient accessible reaction sites. Hence, novel carbon quantum dots (CQDs) modified PbBiO2I photocatalyst were synthesized for the first time through an in-situ ionic liquid-induced method. The bridging function of 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium iodide ([Bmim]I) guarantees the even dispersion of CQDs around PbBiO2I surface, for synchronically overcoming the above drawbacks and markedly promoting the degradation efficiency of organic contaminants: (i) CQDs decoration harness solar photons in the near-infrared region; (ii) particular delocalized conjugated construction of CQDs strength via the utilization of photo-induced carriers; (iii) π–π interactions increase the contact between catalyst and organic molecules. Benefiting from these distinguished features, the optimized CQDs/PbBiO2I nanocomposite displays significantly enhanced photocatalytic performance towards the elimination of rhodamine B and ciprofloxacin under visible/near-infrared light irradiation. The spin-trapping ESR analysis demonstrates that CQDs modification can boost the concentration of reactive oxygen species (O2•−). Combined with radicals trapping tests, valence-band spectra, and Mott–Schottky results, a possible photocatalytic mechanism is proposed. Safflower is an important economic crop with a plethora of industrial and medicinal applications around the world. The bioactive components of safflower petals are known to have pharmacological activity that promotes blood circulation and reduces blood stasis. However, fine-tuning the genetic mechanism of flower development in safflower is still required. In this study, we report the genome-wide identification of MADS-box transcription factors in safflower and the functional characterization of a putative CtMADS24 during vegetative and reproductive growth. In total, 77 members of MADS-box-encoding genes were identified from the safflower genome. The phylogenetic analysis divided CtMADS genes into two types and 15 subfamilies. Similarly, bioinformatic analysis, such as of conserved protein motifs, gene structures, and cis-regulatory elements, also revealed structural conservation of MADS-box genes in safflower. Furthermore, the differential expression pattern of CtMADS genes by RNA-seq data indicated that type II genes might play important regulatory roles in floral development. Similarly, the qRT-PCR analysis also revealed the transcript abundance of 12 CtMADS genes exhibiting tissue-specific expression in different flower organs. The nucleus-localized CtMADS24 of the AP1 subfamily was validated by transient transformation in tobacco using GFP translational fusion. Moreover, CtMADS24-overexpressed transgenic Arabidopsis exhibited early flowering and an abnormal phenotype, suggesting that CtMADS24 mediated the expression of genes involved in floral organ development. Taken together, these findings provide valuable information on the regulatory role of CtMADS24 during flower development in safflower and for the selection of important genes for future molecular breeding programs. Both transformer and one-stage detectors have shown promising object detection results and have attracted increasing attention. However, the developments in effective domain adaptive techniques in transformer and one-stage detectors still have not been widely used. In this paper, we investigate this issue and propose a novel improved You Only Look Once (YOLO) model based on a cross-attention strategy transformer, called CAST-YOLO. This detector is a Teacher–Student knowledge transfer-based detector. We design a transformer encoder layer (TE-Layer) and a convolutional block attention module (CBAM) to capture global and rich contextual information. Then, the detector implements cross-domain object detection through the knowledge distillation method. Specifically, we propose a cross-attention strategy transformer to align domain-invariant features between the source and target domains. This strategy consists of three transformers with shared weights, identified as the source branch, target branch, and cross branch. The feature alignment uses knowledge distillation, to address better knowledge transfer from the source domain to the target domain. The above strategy provides better robustness for a model with noisy input. Three-dimensional (3D) object detection has a vital effect on the environmental awareness task of autonomous driving scenarios. At present, the accuracy of 3D object detection has significant improvement potential. In addition, a 3D point cloud is not uniformly distributed on a regular grid because of its disorder, dispersion, and sparseness. The strategy of the convolution neural networks (CNNs) for 3D point cloud feature extraction has the limitations of potential information loss and empty operation. Therefore, we propose a graph neural network (GNN) detector based on neighbor feature alignment mechanism for 3D object detection in LiDAR point clouds. This method exploits the structural information of graphs, and it aggregates the neighbor and edge features to update the state of vertices during the iteration process. This method enables the reduction of the offset error of the vertices, and ensures the invariance of the point cloud in the spatial domain. Six new sesquiterpene aminoglycosides, trichaspside F (2) and cyclonerosides A–E (5–9), two new diterpene aminoglycosides, harzianosides A and B (10, 11), and three known sesquiterpenes, trichodermoside (1), cycloneran-3,7,10,11-tetraol (3), and cyclonerodiol (4), have been isolated from the n-butanol extract of Trichoderma sp. SCSIOW21 (Hypocreaceae), a deep-sea-sediment-derived fungus. The structures and relative configurations of the new compounds were determined using spectroscopic techniques and comparisons with those reported in the literature. The absolute configurations of the aglycone part of cyclonerosides A–E (5–9) were tentatively proposed based on optical rotation and biogenic considerations. Cyclonerosides A–E (5–9) represent the first glycosides of cyclonelane-type sesquiterpenes generated from Trichoderma. The NO-production-inhibitory activities were evaluated using macrophage RAW264.7 cells. Among the isolated compounds, trichaspside F (2) and cyclonerosides B–E (6–9) exhibited the strongest NO-production-inhibitory activities with IC50 values of 54.8, 50.7, 57.1, 42.0, and 48.0 µM, respectively, compared to the IC50 value of 30.8 µM for the positive control (quercetin). Excess fat deposition in broilers leads to great economic losses and is harmful to consumers' health. Chronic stress in the life cycle of chickens could be an important trigger. However, the underlying mechanisms are still unclear. In this study, 30-day-old chickens were subcutaneously injected with 2 mg/kg corticosterone (CORT) twice a day for 14 days to simulate long-term stress. It was shown that chronic CORT exposure significantly increased plasma triglyceride concentrations and enlarged the adipocyte sizes in chickens. Meanwhile, chronic CORT administration significantly enlarged the adipocyte sizes, increased the protein contents of FASN and decreased HSL, ATGL, Beclin1 and PPARA protein levels. Moreover, global m6A methylations were significantly reduced and accompanied by downregulated METTL3 and YTHDF2 protein expression by CORT treatment. Interestingly, the significant differences of site-specific m6A demethylation were observed in exon7 of PPARA mRNA. Additionally, a mutation of the m6A site in the PPARA gene fused GFP and revealed that demethylated RRACH in PPARA CDS impaired protein translation in vitro. In conclusion, these results indicated that m6A-mediated PPARA translational suppression contributes to CORT-induced visceral fat deposition in chickens, which may provide a new target for the treatment of Cushing's syndrome. Geomaterial mechanical parameters are critical to implementing construction design and evaluating stability through feedback analysis in geotechnical engineering. The back analysis is widely utilized to identify and calibrate the geomaterial mechanical properties in geotechnical engineering. This study developed a novel back-analysis framework by combining a reduced-order model (ROM), grey wolf optimization (GWO), and numerical technology. The ROM was adopted to evaluate the response of the geotechnical structure based on a numerical model. GWO was used to search and identify the geomaterials properties based on the ROM. The developed back analysis framework was applied to a circular tunnel and a practical tunnel for determining the mechanical property of the surrounding rock mass. The results showed that the ROM could be an excellent surrogated model and replaced it with the numerical model. The obtained geomaterial properties were in excellent agreement with the actual properties. The deformation behavior captured by the developed framework was consistent with the theoretical solution in a circular rock tunnel. The developed framework provides a practical, accurate, and convenient approach for calibrating the geomaterial properties based on field monitoring data in practical geotechnical engineering applications. Xilin Gol is a typical kind of grassland in arid and semi-arid regions. Under climate warming, the droughts faced by various grassland types tend to expand in scope and intensity, and increase in frequency. Therefore, the quantitative analysis of drought risk in different grassland types becomes particularly important. Based on multi-source data, a random forest regression algorithm was used to construct a grassland biomass estimation model, which was then used to analyze the spatiotemporal variation characteristics of grassland biomass. A quantitative assessment of drought risk (DR) in different grassland types was applied based on the theory of risk formation, and a structural equation model (SEM) was used to analyze the drivers of drought risk in different grassland types. The results show that among the eight selected variables that affect grassland biomass, the model had the highest accuracy (R = 0.90) when the normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI), precipitation (Prcp), soil moisture (SM) and longitude (Lon) were combined as input variables. The grassland biomass showed a spatial distribution that was high in the east and low in the west, gradually decreasing from northeast to southwest. Among the grasslands, desert grassland (DRS) had the highest drought risk (DR = 0.30), while meadow grassland (MEG) had the lowest risk (DR = 0.02). The analysis of the drivers of drought risk in grassland biomass shows that meteorological elements mainly drive typical grasslands (TYG) and other grasslands (OTH). SM greatly impacted MEG, and ET had a relatively high contribution to DRS. The contributions of the access and egress portions of public transport trips to overall travel satisfaction merit more attention. This study collected responses from intercepted regular urban rail travelers at three metro stations with distinct built-form and land-use characteristics. Local conditions of access on foot, by bicycle, or on a bus were evaluated retrospectively on a five-point satisfaction scale and compared with an independent survey of the same access routes. Three-factor theory and dummy variable regression methods were used to identify the factor structure of environmental attributes under different access means. In the results, access and egress satisfaction were more important than metro trip satisfaction in overall trip satisfaction for walking and cycling modes. Access distance was not significant for walking and marginally negative for cycling satisfaction. For pedestrians, street connectivity, pathway directness, shade, greenery, and crossing safety were all significant (p < 0.05), explaining 51% of the variance in expressed satisfaction. For bicyclists, directness, distance, service, and parking facilities were significant in satisfaction, accounting for 62% of variance. In the bus access model, we found that bus stop location is very important, with passengers also very concerned about the walk experience to the bus stop. Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) is the primary equipment used to detect oil slicks on the ocean's surface. On SAR images, oil spill regions, as well as other places impacted by atmospheric and oceanic phenomena such as rain cells, upwellings, and internal waves, appear as dark spots. Dark spot detection is typically the initial stage in the identification of oil spills. Because the identified dark spots are oil slick candidates, the quality of dark spot segmentation will eventually impact the accuracy of oil slick identification. Although certain sophisticated deep learning approaches employing pixels as primary processing units work well in remote sensing image semantic segmentation, finding some dark patches with weak boundaries and small regions from noisy SAR images remains a significant difficulty. In light of the foregoing, this paper proposes a dark spot detection method based on superpixels and deeper graph convolutional networks (SGDCNs), with superpixels serving as processing units. The contours of dark spots can be better detected after superpixel segmentation, and the noise in the SAR image can also be smoothed. Furthermore, features derived from superpixel regions are more robust than those derived from fixed pixel neighborhoods. Using the support vector machine recursive feature elimination (SVM-RFE) feature selection algorithm, we obtain an excellent subset of superpixel features for segmentation to reduce the learning task difficulty. After that, the SAR images are transformed into graphs with superpixels as nodes, which are fed into the deeper graph convolutional neural network for node classification. SGDCN leverages a differentiable aggregation function to aggregate the node and neighbor features to form more advanced features. To validate our method, we manually annotated six typical large-scale SAR images covering the Baltic Sea and constructed a dark spot detection dataset. Tree height is an important parameter for calculating forest carbon sink and assessing forest carbon cycle. In order to obtain forest tree height over a large area both efficiently and at a low cost, this study proposed an Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar (InSAR) combined with a machine learning method to estimate the tree canopy height. The forest height in the study area was obtained using Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) photogrammetry, which was considered to be the true canopy height. Two machine learning methods (Random Forest, Multi-layer perceptron) were used to establish the relationship between phase center height calculated by InSAR DEM differential interference method and coherent amplitude method with true canopy height. The topographic factor, backward scattering coefficient and coherence coefficient were introduced into the relationship model. It was found that the accuracy of tree height estimation using random forest and two InSAR methods can reach 0.95 and 0.94. The root-mean-square error was 1.76 m, 1.86 m, respectively. The accuracy of tree height estimation using multi-layer perceptron and two InSAR methods was 0.25 and 0.2. The root-mean-square error was 3.96 m and 4.13 m. The results indicated that the combination of InSAR and machine learning can estimate canopy height efficiently and at a low cost. (1) Background: Psychosomatic discomfort is prevalent among adolescents and young adults (AYAs) with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). Post-traumatic growth (PTG) has been a protective factor in earlier research. However, little is known regarding PTG among AYAs with IBD. This study investigates the generation of PTG in adolescents and young adults with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and finds positive coping skills employed in clinical nursing practice. (2) Methods: In 2021, 32 individuals were interviewed utilizing a semi-structured interview guide. This study used qualitative content analysis. (3) Results: The interviews revealed five themes: spiritual change, internalized supportiveness, cognitive re-shaping, externalized behaviors, and future-oriented thinking. (4) Conclusions: The research revealed the presence of PTG in AYAs with IBD. Climate change caused by CO2 emissions has become one of the most serious environmental problems facing the world today, and it has a strong relevance to sustainability. This paper measures the carbon emission efficiency of the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration from 2001 to 2019 using the U-S SBM model. The modified gravity model and social network analysis methods are used to explore its spatially correlated network structure, and QAP regression is used to explore the influencing factors. The results show the following: (1) The spatial correlation of the carbon emission efficiency in the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration increased during the study period, showing a complex network structure with multiple threads and directions, and a strong mobility of the network. (2) The spatial network of the carbon emission efficiency in the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration gradually formed a core−edge structure with southern Jiangsu as the core area, northern Zhejiang and central Jiangsu as the secondary core area, and central Anhui and southern Zhejiang as the edge area during the study period. (3) The spatial correlation network of carbon emission efficiency in the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration is divided into "net benefit", "net spillover", "two-way spillover", and "broker". (4) Differences in energy intensity, government environmental regulations, technology research and development, and economic export orientation are the main factors affecting the spatial correlation of carbon emission efficiency in the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration. Avian reovirus (ARV) causes viral arthritis, chronic respiratory diseases, retarded growth and malabsorption syndrome. However, the precise molecular mechanism remains unclear. Here, we report the host cellular proteins that interact with ARV p17 by yeast two-hybrid screening. In this study, the p17 gene was cloned into pGBKT7 to obtain the bait plasmid pGBKT7-p17. After several rounds of screening of a chicken cDNA library, 43 positive clones were identified as possible host factors that interacted with p17. A BLAST search of the sequences was performed on the NCBI website, which ultimately revealed 19 interacting proteins. Gene ontology enrichment and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genome analyses indicated that the acquired proteins were involved in multicellular organismal processes, metabolic processes, and biological regulation. When the subcellular localization of the host protein and ARV p17 protein was investigated, we observed colocalization of p17-GFP with IGF2BP1-RED and PQBP1-RED in the transfected cells but not with FGF1-RED. The direct interaction of ARV p17 protein with IGF2BP1 and PQBP1 was confirmed by coimmunoprecipitation and GST pulldown assays. We used RT-qPCR to assess the expression variation during ARV infection. The results showed that IGF2BP1, PAPSS2, RPL5, NEDD4L, PRPS2 and IFI16 were significantly upregulated, whereas the expression of FGF1, CDH2 and PQBP1 was markedly decreased in DF-1 cells infected with ARV. Finally, we demonstrated that IGF2BP1 had a positive effect on ARV replication, while PQBP1 had the opposite effect. This study aimed to elucidate the responses of a novel characterized Issatchenkia terricola WJL-G4 against citric acid stress by performing physiological analysis, morphology observation, and structural and membrane fatty acid composition analysis. The results showed that under citric acid stress, the cell vitality of I. terricola WJL-G4 was reduced. The cell morphology changed with the unclear, uncompleted and thinner cell wall, and degraded the cell structure. When the citric acid concentration was 20 g/L, I. terricola WJL-G4 could tolerate citric acid and maintain the cell structure by increasing the intracellular pH, superoxide dismutase activity, and contents of unsaturated fatty acids. As the citric acid concentration was ≥80 g/L, the stress has exceeded the cellular anti-stress ability, causing substantial cell damage. The cell membrane permeability, the content of membrane lipids, malondialdehyde and superoxide anion increased, but the intracellular pH and superoxide dismutase activities decreased, accompanying the increase of citric acid concentrations. The findings of this work provided a theoretical basis for the responsive mechanism of I. terricola WJL-G4 under high concentrations of citric acid, and can serve as a reference for biological acid reduction in fruit processing. The RANS equation and the RNG k-ε turbulence model were used in the three-dimensional non-constant numerical simulations of the full flow path of a vertical axial-flow pump which was carried out by applying CFX software. The velocity characteristics of the flow field and the pressure distribution of the impeller under different operating conditions were analyzed and verified by external characteristic tests. The fluid–structure interaction research was conducted for the stress distribution and deformation features of different surfaces of the blade under different working conditions. The result shows that where stress is most concentrated is at the point of the root of the blade near the hub. Hollow carbon nitride nanosphere (HCNS) was synthesized via the hard template method to improve the fluorescence characteristics, drug delivery ability, and photocatalytic activity. Blue fluorescent HCNS was utilized as a quenching agent and an internal reference to combine with Cy5-labelled aptamer (Cy5-Apt), resulting in an off-on fluorescence aptasensing method for the detection of Salmonella typhimurium (S. typhimurium). Under optimum conditions, this fluorescence assay presented a linear range from 30 to 3 × 104 CFU mL−1 with a detection limit of 13 CFU mL−1. In addition, HCNS was also used as a drug carrier to load chloramphenicol (Cap) molecules. The Cap-loading amount of HCNS could reach 550 μg mg−1 within 24 h, whereas the corresponding Cap-release amount is 302.5 μg mg−1 under acidic and irradiation conditions. The integration of photocatalyst with antibiotic could endow HCNS-Cap with better disinfection performance. The bactericidal efficiency of HCNS-Cap (95.0%) against S. typhimurium within 12 h was better than those of HCNS (85.1%) and Cap (72.9%). In addition, selective disinfection of S. typhimurium was further realized by decorating aptamer. Within 4 h, almost all S. Typhimurium were inactivated by HCNS-Cap-Apt, whereas only 13.3% and 48.2% of Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli cells were killed, respectively. The penetration of optical clearing agents (OCAs) is restricted by the natural barrier function of the stratum corneum (SC) of the skin, which can be breached by physical and chemical methods to enhance the transcutaneous delivery of OCAs. To breach the barrier function of SC, we carried out the in vivo experimental study to enhance the optical clearing effect of PEG-400 by laser irradiation in conjunction with a chemical penetration enhancer thiazone. We compared the reflectance spectra of skin without laser irradiation or thiazone. Mono-treatment of thiazone could not significantly enhance the optical clearing efficacy of the skin. After 60 min, the reflectance spectrum decreased by only approximately 10%. With the combined treatment, the reflectance spectrum decreased by approximately 30% after 10 min. Subsequently, the effect of laser dose on the enhancement of optical clearing efficacy was studied. The optimal irradiation dose was determined. The reflectance of skins irradiated by a laser dose at 0.7 J/cm2 decreased by approximately 10% and were 20% lower than those at 0.5 and 0.9 J/cm2. The laser at 0.5 J/cm2 could not damage the SC completely, whereas the laser at 0.9 J/cm2 influenced the epidermis and dermis; thus, the reflectance of skin samples irradiated by 0.9 J/cm2 did not decrease. Prelithiation is an important strategy used to compensate for lithium loss during the formation of a solid electrolyte interface (SEI) layer and the other irreversible reactions at the first stage of electrochemical cycling. In this paper, we report a systematic study of thermal prelithiation of SiO2 particles with different sizes (6 nm, 20 nm, 300 nm and 3 μm). All four lithiated anodes (LixSi/Li2O composites) show improved performance over pristine SiO2. More interestingly, lithiated product from micron-sized SiO2 particle demonstrates optimum performance with a charge capacity of 1859 mAhg−1 initially and maintains above 1300 mAhg−1 for over 50 cycles. Research investigating milk-derived proteins has brought to light the potential for their use as novel anticancer agents. This paper aims to systematically review studies examining the effectiveness of milk-derived proteins in the treatment of head and neck cancer. A systematic literature search of Medline, Evidence-Based Medicine, and Web of Science databases including papers published from all dates was completed. Inter-rater reliability was high during the title, abstract, and full-text screening phases. Inclusion criteria, exclusion criteria, and data extraction were based on the PICOS tool and research questions. Reporting followed the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis criteria. Eligible in vitro and in vivo studies (n = 8/658) evaluated lactoferrin, α-lactalbumin, and its complexes, such as HAMLET, BAMLET and lactalbumin-oleic acid complexes, as well as lactoperoxidase, whey, and casein. Their effectiveness in the treatment of head and neck cancer cells lines found that these compounds can inhibit tumour growth modulate cancer gene expression, and have cytotoxic effects on cancer cells. However, the exact mechanisms by which these effects are achieved are not well understood. Systematically designed, large, optimally controlled, collaborative studies, both in vitro and in vivo, will be required to gain a better understanding of their potential role in the treatment of head and neck cancer. Ambient PM2.5-bound ions, OC, EC, heavy metals (HMs), 18 polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), 7 hopanes, and 29 n-alkanes were detected at Tuoji Island (TI), the only marine background atmospheric monitoring station in North China. The annual PM2.5 average concentration was 47 ± 31 μg m−3, and the average concentrations of the compositions in PM2.5 were higher in cold seasons than in warm seasons. The cancer and non-cancer risks of HMs and PAHs in cold seasons were also higher than in warm seasons. BaP, Ni, and As dominated the ∑HQ (hazard quotient) in cold seasons, while the non-carcinogenic risk in warm seasons was mainly dominated by Ni, Mn, and As. The ILCR (incremental lifetime cancer risk) values associated with Cr and As were higher in the cold season, while ILCR-Ni values were higher in the warm season. The backward trajectory was calculated to identify the potential directions of air mass at TI. Through the diagnostic ratios of organic and inorganic tracers, the sources of particulate matter in different directions were judged. It was found that ship emissions and sea salt were the main sources from marine directions, while coal combustion, vehicles emissions, industrial process, and secondary aerosols were the main source categories for inland directions. In addition, potential HM and PAH risks from inland and marine directions were explored. The non-cancerous effects of TI were mainly affected by inland transport, especially from the southeast, northwest, and west-northwest. Five undescribed harziane-type diterpene derivatives, namely harzianol K (1), harzianol L (4), harzianol M (5), harzianol N (6), harzianol O (7), along with two known compounds, hazianol J (2) and harzianol A (3) were isolated from the deep-sea sediment-derived fungus Trichoderma sp. SCSIOW21. The relative configurations were determined by meticulous spectroscopic methods including 1D, 2D NMR spectroscopy, and HR-ESI-MS. The absolute configurations were established by the ECD curve calculations and the X-ray crystallographic analysis. These compounds (1, and 4–7) contributed to increasing the diversity of the caged harziane type diterpenes with highly congested skeleton characteristics.
