Functionalized nanomaterials with surface-active groups have garnered significant research interest due to their wide-ranging applications, particularly in water treatment for removing various contaminants. This study focuses on developing a novel, multi-functional nanobiosorbent by synthesizing nanosized biochar from artichoke leaves (NBAL) and molybdic acid (MA). The resulting nanobiosorbent, MA@NBAL, is produced through a microwave-irradiation process, offering a promising material for enhanced environmental remediation. The characteristics of assembled MA@NBAL were evaluated from SEM-EDX, XPS, TGA, FT-IR, and zeta potential detection. The size of particles ranged from 18.7 to 23.7 nm. At the same time, the EDX analysis denoted the existence of several major elements with related percentage values of carbon (52.9%), oxygen (27.6%), molybdenum (8.8%), and nitrogen (4.5%) in the assembled MA@NBAL nanobiosorbent. The effectiveness of MA@NBAL in removing Hg(II) ions was monitored via the batch study method. The optimized maximum removal capacity of Hg(II) ions onto MA@NBAL was established at pH 6.0, 30.0 min equilibrium time, and 20 mg of nanobiosorbent, providing 1444.25 mg/g with a 10.0 mmol/L concentration of Hg(II). Kinetic studies revealed that the adsorption process followed a pseudo-second-order model, with R2 values ranging from 0.993 to 0.999 for the two tested Hg(II) concentrations, indicating excellent alignment with the experimental data. This suggests that the chemisorption mechanism involves cation exchange and complex formation. Isotherm model evaluation further confirmed the adsorption mechanism, with the Freundlich model providing the best fit, yielding an R2 of 0.962. This result indicates that Hg(II) adsorption onto the surface of MA@NBAL nanobiosorbent occurs on a heterogeneous surface with multilayer formation characteristics. The results of the temperature factor and computation of the thermodynamic parameters referred to endothermic behavior via a nonspontaneous process. Finally, the valid applicability of MA@NBAL nanobiosorbent in the adsorptive recovery of 2.0 and 5.0 µg/mL Hg(II) from contaminated real aquatic matrices was explored in this study, providing 91.2–98.6% removal efficiency. Infectious bronchitis virus (IBV) induces severe economic losses in chicken farms due to the emergence of new variants leading to vaccine breaks. The studied IBV strains belong to Massachusetts (Mass), Canadian 4/91, and California (Cal) 1737 genotypes that are prevalent globally. This study was designed to compare the impact of these three IBV genotypes on primary and secondary lymphoid organs. For this purpose, one-week-old specific pathogen-free chickens were inoculated with Mass, Canadian 4/91, or Cal 1737 IBV variants, keeping a mock-infected control. We examined the IBV replication in primary and secondary lymphoid organs. The molecular, histopathological, and immunohistochemical examinations revealed significant differences in lesion scores and viral distribution in these immune organs. In addition, we observed B-cell depletion in the bursa of Fabricius and the spleen with a significant elevation of T cells in these organs. The second order Burger's equation model is used to study the turbulent fluids, suspensions, shock waves, and the propagation of shallow water waves. In the present research, we investigate a numerical solution to the time fractional coupled-Burgers equation (TFCBE) using Crank–Nicolson and the cubic B-spline (CBS) approaches. The time derivative is addressed using Caputo's formula, while the CBS technique with the help of a θ -weighted scheme is utilized to discretize the first- and second-order spatial derivatives. The quasi-linearization technique is used to linearize the non-linear terms. The suggested scheme demonstrates unconditionally stable. A spline is a sufficiently smooth piecewise curve. B-spline functions are powerful tools for obtaining computational outcomes. They have also been utilized in computer graphics and computer-aided design due to their flexibility, smoothness and accuracy. In this paper, a numerical procedure dependent on the cubic B-spline (CuBS) for the time fractional diffusion wave equation (TFDWE) is proposed. The standard finite difference (FD) approach is utilized to discretize the Atangana–Baleanu fractional derivative (ABFD), while the derivatives in space are approximated through the CuBS with a θ -weighted technique. The stability of the propounded algorithm is analyzed and proved to be unconditionally stable. The convergence analysis is also studied, and it is of the order O (h 2 + (Δ t) 2) . By using stochastic modeling, the investigation of the energy and wave characteristics of novel structures that develop in the sea and ocean currents becomes one of the most important advancements in the generation of sustainable and renewable energy. Theoretical examinations of random nonlinear Kundu–Mukherjee–Naskar (RNKMN) structures have become recommended in a random mode. The two-dimensional RNKMN equation permits exact and solved solutions that give rise to solitonic structures with adaptable properties. The obtained stochastic waves, under the influence of random water currents, represent a dynamically controlled system. It has been demonstrated that the stochastic parameter modulates wave forcing and produces energy wave collapse accompanied by medium turbulence. Infectious bronchitis virus (IBV) is an avian coronavirus that causes a disease in chickens known as infectious bronchitis (IB). The pathogenesis of IBV and the host immune responses against it depend on multiple factors such as the IBV variant, breed and age of the chicken, and the environment provided by the management. Since there is limited knowledge about the influence of the sex of chickens in the pathogenesis of IBV, in this study we aim to compare IBV pathogenesis and host immune responses in young male and female chickens. One-week-old specific pathogen-free (SPF) White Leghorn male and female chickens were infected with Canadian Delmarva (DMV)/1639 IBV variant at a dose of 1 × 106 embryo infectious dose (EID)50 by the oculo-nasal route while maintaining uninfected controls, and these chickens were euthanized and sampled 4- and 11-days post-infection (dpi). No significant difference was observed between the infected male and female chickens in IBV shedding, IBV genome load in the trachea, lung, kidney, bursa of Fabricius (BF), thymus, spleen, and cecal tonsils (CT), and IBV-induced lesion in all the examined tissues at both 4 and 11 dpi. In addition, there was no significant difference in the percentage of IBV immune-positive area observed between the infected male and female chickens in all tissues except for the kidney, which expressed an increased level of IBV antigen in infected males compared with females at both 4 and 11 dpi. The percentage of B lymphocytes was not significantly different between infected male and female chickens in all the examined tissues. The percentage of CD8+ T cells was not significantly different between infected male and female chickens in all the examined tissues except in the trachea at 11 dpi, where female chickens had higher recruitment when compared with male chickens. Overall, although most of the findings of this study suggest that the sex of chickens does not play a significant role in the pathogenesis of IBV and the host immune response in young chickens, marginal differences in viral replication and host responses could be observed to indicate that IBV-induced infection in male chickens is more severe. In this work, the effect of adding Pb nano/microparticles in polyurethane foams to improve thermo-physical and mechanical properties were investigated. Moreover, an attempt has been made to modify the micron-sized lead metal powder into nanostructured Pb powder using a high-energy ball mill. Two types of fillers were used, the first is Pb in micro scale and the second is Pb in nano scale. A lead/polyurethane nanocomposite is made using the in-situ polymerization process. The different characterization techniques describe the state of the dispersion of fillers in foam. The effects of these additions in the foam were evaluated, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), and X-ray diffraction (XRD) have all been used to analyze the morphology and dispersion of lead in polyurethane. The findings demonstrate that lead is uniformly distributed throughout the polyurethane matrix. The compression test demonstrates that the inclusion of lead weakens the compression strength of the nanocomposites in comparison to that of pure polyurethane. The TGA study shows that the enhanced thermal stability is a result of the inclusion of fillers, especially nanofillers. The shielding efficiency has been studied, MAC, LAC, HVL, MFP and Zeff were determined either experimentally or by Monte Carlo calculations. In this article, we present a hyperbolic secant-squared distribution via the nonlinear evolution equation. Namely, for this equation, the probability density function of the hyperbolic secant-squared (HSS) distribution has been determined. The density of our model has a variety of shapes, including symmetric, left-skewed, and right-skewed. Eight distinct frequent list estimation methods have been proposed for estimating the parameters of our models. Additionally, these estimation techniques have been used to examine the behavior of the HSS model parameters using data sets that were generated randomly. To demonstrate how the findings may be used to model real data using the HSS distribution, we also use real data. Excessive use of nitrogen (N) pollutes the environment and causes greenhouse gas emissions; however, the application of eco-friendly plant biostimulators (BSs) can overcome these issues. Therefore, this paper aimed to explore the role of diluted bee honey solution (DHS) in attenuating the adverse impacts of N toxicity on Phaseolus vulgaris growth, yield quality, physio-chemical properties, and defense systems. For this purpose, the soil was fertilized with 100, 125, and 150% of the recommended N dose (RND), and the plants were sprayed with 1.5% DHS. Trials were arranged in a two-factor split-plot design (N levels occupied main plots × DH– occupied subplots). Excess N (150% RND) caused a significant decline in plant growth, yield quality, photosynthesis, and antioxidants, while significantly increasing oxidants and oxidative damage [hydrogen peroxide (H2O2), superoxide (O2•−), nitrate, electrolyte leakage (EL), and malondialdehyde (MDA) levels]. However, DHS significantly improved antioxidant activities (glutathione and nitrate reductases, catalase, ascorbate peroxidase, superoxide dismutase, proline, ascorbate, α-tocopherol, and glutathione) and osmoregulatory levels (soluble protein, glycine betaine, and soluble sugars). Enzyme gene expressions showed the same trend as enzyme activities. Additionally, H2O2, O2•−, EL, MDA, and nitrate levels were significantly declined, reflecting enhanced growth, yield, fruit quality, and photosynthetic efficiency. As a result of the climate changes that are getting worse nowadays, drought stress (DS) is a major obstacle during crop life stages, which ultimately reduces tomato crop yields. So, there is a need to adopt modern approaches like a novel nutrient- and antioxidant-based formulation (NABF) for boosting tomato crop productivity. NABF consists of antioxidants (i.e., citric acid, salicylic acid, ascorbic acid, glutathione, and EDTA) and nutrients making it a fruitful growth stimulator against environmental stressors. As a first report, this study was scheduled to investigate the foliar application of NABF on growth and production traits, physio-biochemical attributes, water use efficiency (WUE), and nutritional, hormonal, and antioxidative status of tomato plants cultivated under full watering (100% of ETc) and DS (80 or 60% of ETc). Stressed tomato plants treated with NABF had higher DS tolerance through improved traits of photosynthetic efficiency, leaf integrity, various nutrients (i.e., copper, zinc, manganese, calcium, potassium, phosphorus, and nitrogen), and hormonal contents. These positives were a result of lower levels of oxidative stress biomarkers as a result of enhanced osmoprotectants (soluble sugars, proline, and soluble protein), and non-enzymatic and enzymatic antioxidant activities. Growth, yield, and fruit quality traits, as well as WUE, were improved. Full watering with application of 2.5 g NABF L−1 collected 121 t tomato fruits per hectare as the best treatment. Under moderate DS (80% of ETc), NABF application increased fruit yield by 10.3%, while, under severe DS (40% of ETc), the same fruit yield was obtained compared to full irrigation without NABF. Simple Summary: Heat stress is one of the most severe consequences of climate change, affecting the rabbit production sector. The exposure of growing rabbits to heat stress compromises animal health and welfare, suppresses immunity, and increases morbidity. Dietary interventions by applying nanotechnology could effectively mitigate these negative effects of heat stress in growing rabbits. In this study, we tested various levels of a nanoemulsion of cardamom essential oil (NCEO) and its role in mitigating heat stress in growing V-line rabbits via promoting health, immunity, and growth. Added NCEO (300 mg/kg) improved the growth indices, feed efficiency, redox balance, and immunity and reduced the growing rabbits' inflammatory responses during the summer. Recently, nanotechnology approaches have been employed to enhance the solubility, availability, and efficacy of phytochemicals, overcoming some industrial obstacles and natural biological barriers. In this regard, 120 clinically healthy growing V-line rabbits (5 weeks old) reared during the summer season were divided randomly into four equal experimental groups (30 rabbits each). The first group received a basal diet without the supplementation of the nanoemulsion of cardamom essential oil (NCEO) (0 g/kg diet) and served as a control (NCEO 0). The other groups were given diets containing NCEO at levels of 150 (NCEO 150), 300 (NCEO 300), and 600 (NCEO 600) mg/kg diet, respectively. The growth performance (higher LBW and ADG), feed utilization (lower FCR), dressing percentage, and relative weight of the liver were improved significantly in the NCEO-treated groups compared to the control group. Moreover, the dietary treatment significantly decreased the rectum temperature and respiration rate, minimizing the 350 and 325 mg NECO/kg diets. The erythrocyte count, hematocrit, and hemoglobin concentration were significantly increased (p < 0.05), while white blood cells were significantly diminished (p = 0.0200) in the NCEO300 and NCEO600 groups compared to the control group. Treatment with 300 or 600 mg NCEO/kg significantly increased the blood serum total protein and albumin compared to the control group. Meanwhile, the liver enzymes (AST and ALT), uric acid, and creatinine concentrations decreased significantly in the NCEO300 group compared to the control group. The concentrations of triglycerides and total cholesterol were reduced significantly by the dietary treatment. The total antioxidant capacity, dismutase activity, and glutathione concentration were significantly higher, while the malondialdehyde and protein carbonyl levels were significantly lower in the NCEO300 group than in the control. The inflammatory responses and immunity statuses were improved in the blood serum of the NCEO-treated rabbits compared to the control. Heat-stress-induced pathological perturbations in renal/hepatic tissues and NCEO co-treatment successfully re-established and recovered near-control renal–hepatic morphology. Simple Summary: Semen cryopreservation is a reliable technique used in artificial reproduction technology to preserve and transmit buffaloes' superior genetic qualities. Buffalo sperm cells are highly susceptible to cryopreservation due to the abundant polyunsaturated fatty acids in their plasma membrane. The use of nanoparticles in freezing extenders is one of the most recent techniques for reducing the detrimental effects of cryopreservation on the post-thawed quality of buffalo spermatozoa. In this study, thymoquinone nanoparticles (TQNPs) were used for the first time as an effective method to enhance the sperm quality and fertilizing ability of frozen–thawed buffalo sperm. The addition of optimal levels of TQNPs (25 to 50 µg/mL) improved post-thawed sperm parameters and sperm kinematics, as well as maintained the morphology of sperm by supporting the total antioxidant capacity and reducing membrane damage, apoptotic sperm, and oxidative stress-related markers. These data can provide a novel nanotechnology-based strategy for enhancing the cryopreservation efficiency of buffalo sperm. Thymoquinone nanoparticles (TQNPs) are broadly utilized in numerous pharmaceutical applications. In the present study, we tested the effects of TQNP supplementation on sperm quality and kinematics, acrosome exocytosis, oxidative biomarkers, apoptosis-like and morphological changes of frozen–thawed buffalo sperm, as well as the fertilizing capacity. Semen was collected from buffalo bulls, diluted (1:10; semen/extender), and divided into five aliquots comprising various concentrations of TQNP 0 (CON), 12.5 (TQNP12.5), 25 (TQNP25), 37.5 (TQNP37.5), and 50 (TQNP50) µg/mL, and then cryopreserved and stored in liquid nitrogen (−196 °C). The results revealed that TQNPs (25 to 50 µg/mL) provided the most optimal results in terms of membrane integrity (p < 0.001) and progressive motility (p < 0.01). In contrast, TQNP50 resulted in a greater post-thawed sperm viability (p = 0.02) compared with other groups. The addition of TQNPs to the extender had no discernible effects on sperm morphology measures. Sperm kinematic motion was significantly improved in the TQNP50 group compared to the control group (p < 0.01). TQNPs effectively reduced the content of H2O2 and MDA levels and improved the total antioxidant capacity of post-thawed extended semen (p < 0.01). The addition of TQNP significantly increased the number of intact acrosomes (p < 0.0001) and decreased the number of exocytosed acrosomes (p < 0.0001). A significant reduction in apoptosis-like changes was observed in TQNP groups. The non-return rates of buffalo cows inseminated with TQNP50-treated spermatozoa were higher than those in the control group (p < 0.05; 88% vs. 72%). Electrostatic nonlinear random Langmuir structures have been propagated in stochastic magnetospheres, clouds and solar wind. A theoretical description of Langmuir waves can be modeled by Schrödinger and Zakharov models with stochastic terms. It was explained that the stochastic parameter affects the forcing, collapsing in strongly density turbulence and density crystalline structures. The unified method has been implemented to provide new stochastic solutions for a Zakharov system in subsonic limit with noises via the Itô sense. This unified approach provides a variety of advantages, such as avoiding difficult calculations and explicitly providing pivotal solutions. It is easy to use, efficient, and precise. The induced generated energy during the collapsing of solar Langmuir wave bursts and clouds is determined by the solitonic formations. In addition, the collapsing strong turbulence or forcing density crystalline structures depend mainly on stochastic processes. Furthermore, electrostatic waves in clouds that may collapse are represented sometimes as dissipative shapes. So, the results of this investigation could be applicable to observations of energy seeding and collapsing in clouds. This energy is based on the electrostatic field and its related densities' perturbation in subsonic limits. Finally, it has been explored how noise parameters in the Itô sense affect the solar wind Langmuir waves' properties. The use of bio-stimulants (BSs) has become an important policy in managing many stressed crop plants through the regulation of the balance of phytohormones, osmo-protectors (OPs), antioxidant systems, and gene expression, all of which reflect plant growth and productivity. Garlic + onion extract (GOE) at a concentration of 2.0–3.0% and diluted bee honey solution (BHs) at a concentration of 1.0–1.5% were applied exogenously to squash (Cucurbita pepo) plants subjected to cadmium (Cd) + lead (Pb) stress (0.3 mM CdCl2 + 0.3 mM PbCl2). The objective was to determine the effects of these treatments on growth characteristics, organic metabolites/biomolecules, and mineral nutrients. Cd + Pb stress significantly increased electrolyte leakage (EL, 103%) and malondialdehyde (MDA, 90%) because of an increase in hydrogen peroxide (H2O2, 145%) and superoxide (O2•−, 152%) levels, and contents of abscisic acid (ABA, 164%), Cd (674–711%), and Pb (754–805%). Consequently, marked increases in the contents of OPs and non-enzymatic antioxidants (28–133%), activities of antioxidant enzymes (48–80%), and expressions of enzyme genes (60–84%) were observed. The administration of Cd + Pb treatment reduced plant growth and development parameters (25–59%), yield components (61–86%), photosynthetic components (27–67%), leaf proportional water content (26%), indole-3-acetic acid (IAA, 44%), gibberellic acid (GA3, 56%), and cyto-kinin (CKs, 49%) contents. Nonetheless, the administration of GOE, BHs, and GOE + BHs attenuated the adverse impacts of Cd + Pb stress. The best treatment was GOE + BHs which significantly decreased EL (52%) and MDA (49%) because of a reduction of O2•– (61%), H2O2 (60%), ABA (63%), Cd (89–91%), and Pb (89–91%) levels. This positive outcome was linked to an increase in the OPs' (22–46%) and non-enzymatic antioxidant (27–46%) levels, activities of enzymes (26–44%), and enzyme gene expressions (35–40%), all of which contributed to the promoted relative water content (RWC, 37%), pigment contents (47–194%), hormonal levels (82–132%), growth traits (31–149%), yield components (154–626%), and fruit quality traits (31–92%). Infectious bronchitis virus (IBV) causes infectious bronchitis disease in chickens. IBV primarily infects the upper respiratory tract and then disseminates to other body systems including gastrointestinal, reproductive, and urinary systems. Unlike original IBV serotypes, the novel IBV variants target lymphoid organs, but information on this is scarce. In this study, we aim to evaluate the impact of the presence of maternal antibodies on IBV infection in primary and secondary lymphoid organs. Maternal antibody free, specific pathogen free (SPF) hens were divided into vaccinated and non-vaccinated groups. The progeny male chicks from these hens were divided into four groups; vaccinated challenged (VC), non-vaccinated challenged (NVC), vaccinated non-challenged (VNC), and non-vaccinated non-challenged (NVNC). The challenge groups were given 1 × 106 embryo infectious dose (EID)50 of IBV Delmarva (DMV)/1639 by the oculo-nasal route and non-challenge groups were given saline. The serum anti-IBV antibody titer was significantly higher in challenged groups compared to non-challenged groups. The IBV genome load was significantly lower in the VC group than NVC group in oropharyngeal and cloacal swabs and in bursa of Fabricius (BF) and cecal tonsils (CT). The histopathological lesion scores were significantly lower in VC group than NVC group in BF and CT. Simple Summary: Climate change has strengthened the incidence of heat waves, causing significant losses in livestock units productivity and farm profit. Among different food producing animals, rabbits perform a crucial role in meat production in many countries worldwide. However, these animals are more sensitive to thermal stress compared with other livestock species, mainly due to the lack of functional sweet glands. Thus, maintaining rabbit farming systems under recent climate changes becomes a challenge. Phytochemicals may present an effective intervention to mitigate heat stress (HS) effects on rabbits via different modes of action. Recently, more attention has been paid for such substances, particularly, with the emergence of nanotechnology approaches. This technology has recently employed to improve the availability, solubility, and efficacy of phytochemicals, overcoming natural biological barriers and some industrial obstacles. In this sense, we explored the protective role of Origanum majorana (marjoram essential oil nanoemulsion, MEONE) against heat stress in growing rabbits, considering growth performance, immunity, and inflammatory and oxidative stress pathways. In addition, the economic efficiency of this nanotechnology-based intervention was estimated. The results indicate that the addition of 400 mg/kg diet of MEONE inhibited inflammatory biomarkers, DNA damages, and oxidative stress caused by heat stress, enhanced the growth performance, and relative economic efficiency of newly weaned rabbits. With the recent trend of global warming, HS-instigated diminishing could extremely jeopardize animal health, productivity, and farm profit. Marjoram essential oil (MEOE) is a worthy source of wide range phytogenic compounds that may improve heat tolerance, redox and inflammatory homeostasis, and immunity of newly weaned rabbits, specifically if included in the diets in a nano form. One hundred newly weaned rabbits were randomly distributed into four homogeneous groups. The first group (control group) included rabbits that received basal diet without supplementation. In contrast, the other three groups included rabbits that received basal diets supplemented with 200 (MEONE200), 400 (MEONE400), and 800 (MEONE800) mg MEONE/kg diet, respectively. Among MEONE-treated groups and control groups, MEONE400 group showed the highest (p < 0.001) growth performance traits, including final body weight, average daily gain, feed efficiency, and the performance index. Compared to the control, all MEONE-supplemented groups possessed lower rectal temperatures and respiration rates, recording the lowest values in the MEONE400 group. The oxidative stress biomarkers and immunoglobulins G and M were significantly improved in the MEONE400 and MEONE800 compared with the control and MEONE200 groups. The addition of MEONE (400 or 800 mg/kg) decreased the concentrations of serum interleukin-4 (p = 0.0003), interferon gamma (p = 0.0004), and tumor necrosis factor-α (p < 0.0001) but significantly elevated (p < 0.001) the activity of nitric oxide, amyloid A and lysozyme. Liver functions (lower concentrations of liver enzymes) were significantly improved in all MEONE-treated groups compared to the control group. Gentamicin is considered one of the most typical causes of testicular damage. Oxidative stress is a significant contributor to testicular tissue damage. Zamzam water (alkaline in nature) has an antioxidant effect. The purpose of this study was to assess the potential palliative effect of Zamzam water against gentamicin-induced testicular damage. Thirty Rats were separated into three groups, each with ten rats, as follows: The Control received only normal saline. The gentamicin group received 100 mg/kg/day of gentamicin intraperitoneally for six days from day 15 to the end of the experiment. The gentamicin +Zamzam Water group received a dose of gentamicin 100 mg/kg/day intraperitoneally with Zamzam water as their sole source of drinking from day one to day 21. Hormonal assay in serum, histological, immunohistochemical, and ultrastructural examination of testicular tissue with a molecular study were obtained. Pretreatment with Zamzam water significantly p < 0.001 increased serum levels of testosterone, FSH, and LH, as well as the percentage of sperm motility and progressive motility. It also upregulated SOD, CAT, GPx enzymatic activity, gene expression of Nrf2/HO-1, and immunoexpression of PCNA. While the percentage of dead sperm and abnormal sperm, immunoexpression of NFκB, Caspase 3, inflammatory cytokines TNFα, IL-1β, IL-6, and MDA levels significantly (p < 0.001) declined with histological improvement. It was concluded that Zamzam water as alkaline water possesses antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and antiapoptotic effects against gentamicin-induced testicular toxicity in vivo. This paper presents numerical modeling and investigation for the Ripa system. This model is derived from a shallow water model by merging the horizontal temperature gradients. We applied the non-homogeneous Riemann solver (NHRS) method for solving the Ripa model. This scheme contains two stages named predictor and corrector. The first one is made up of a control parameter that is responsible for the numerical diffusion. The second one recuperates the balance conservation equation. One of the main features of the NHRS scheme, it can determine the numerical flux corresponding to the real state of solution in the non-attendance of Riemann solution. Various test cases of physical interest are considered. These case studies display the high resolution of the NHRS scheme and emphasize its ability to produce accurate results for the Ripa model. In this study, the nonlinear term in the two-dimensional Bratu equation has been replaced by its Taylor's expansion. Hence, the resulting nonlinear partial differential equation has been studied using the Lie group method. The symmetry reductions that reduce nonlinear partial differential equations to ordinary differential equations are determined using the Lie group theory. The resultant ordinary differential equations were analytically solved, and the solutions were obtained in closed form for some specified parameter values, while others were solved numerically. The study aimed to investigate the causative species, antifungal susceptibility, and factors associated with oropharyngeal candidiasis (OPC) among Egyptian COVID-19 patients. This is an observational, case-controlled, single-center study that included three groups: COVID-19 patients (30), COVID-19 patients with OPC (39), and healthy individuals (31). Patients' demographic data (age, sex), laboratory tests, comorbidities, treatment, and outcomes were included. Candida species were isolated from COVID-OPC patient's oropharyngeal swabs by convenient microbiological methods. Isolated strains were tested for antimicrobial susceptibility, biofilm production, aspartyl protease, and phospholipase activities. The most common respiratory symptoms reported were dyspnea (36/39; 92.4%) and cough (33/39; 84.7%). Candida albicans was the most common isolated species, accounting for 74.36% (29/39), followed by Candida tropicalis and Candida glabrata (15.38% and 10.26%, respectively). Amphotericin was effective against all isolates, while fluconazole was effective against 61.5%. A total of 53.8% of the isolates were biofilm producers. The phospholipase activity of C. albicans was detected among 58.6% (17/29) of the isolates. Significant variables from this study were used to create two equations from a regression model that can predict the severity of disease course and liability to fungal infection, with a stativity of 87% and 91%, respectively. According to our findings, COVID-19 patients with moderate to severe infection under prolonged use of broad-spectrum antibiotics and corticosteroids should be considered a high-risk group for developing OPC, and prophylactic measures are recommended to be included in the treatment protocols. This article examines a natural convection viscous unsteady fluid flowing on an oscillating infinite inclined plate. The Newtonian heating effect, slip effect on the boundary wall, and constant mass diffusion conditions are also considered. In order to account for extended memory effects, the semi-analytical solution of transformed governed partial differential equations is attained with the help of a recent and more efficient fractional definition known as Prabhakar, like a thermal fractional derivative with Mittag-Leffler function. Fourier and Fick's laws are also considered in the thermal profile and concentration field solution. The essentials' preliminaries, fractional model, and execution approach are expansively addressed. The physical impacts of different parameters on all governed equations are plotted and compared graphically. Breast cancer is one of the most prevalent cancer types with a high mortality rate in women worldwide. This devastating cancer still represents a worldwide public health concern in terms of high morbidity and mortality rates. The diagnosis of breast abnormalities is challenging due to different types of tissues and textural variations in intensity. Hence, developing an accurate computer-aided system (CAD) is very important to distinguish normal from abnormal tissues and define the abnormal tissues as benign or malignant. The present study aims to enhance the accuracy of CAD systems and to reduce its computational complexity. This paper proposes a method for extracting a set of statistical features based on curvelet and wavelet sub-bands. Then the binary grey wolf optimizer (BGWO) is used as a feature selection technique aiming to choose the best set of features giving high performance. Using public dataset, Digital Database for Screening Mammography (DDSM), different experiments have been performed with and without using the BGWO algorithm. The random forest classifier with 10-fold cross-validation is used to achieve the classification task to evaluate the selected set of features' capability. The obtained results showed that when the BGWO algorithm is used as a feature selection technique, only 30.7% of the total features can be used to detect whether a mammogram image is normal or abnormal with ROC area reaching 1.0 when the fusion of both curvelet and wavelet features were used. In addition, in case of diagnosing the mammogram images as benign or malignant, the results showed that using BGWO algorithm as a feature selection technique, only 38.5% of the total features can be used to do so with high ROC area result at 0.871. Albizia harveyi is a tropical deciduous tree, found across South and Eastern Africa and widely used in traditional medicine. The leaf extract ameliorated the damaging effects of the frozen-thawing process in cryopreserved bull semen. In a dose-dependent pattern, sperm motility, viability, and membrane integrity were improved compared to the untreated control. Furthermore, the extract increased the percentage of viable sperm cells and reduced the percentages of early apoptotic and apoptotic sperm cells as well as the damage in sperm ultra-structure. These activities are in agreement with the robust antioxidant properties in vitro and in the seminal fluid as observed in the total antioxidant capacity and the lipid peroxidation parameter malondialdehyde. LC-MS yielded 35 compounds. The extract was dominated by quercetin-O-galloyl-hexoside and quercetin-O-pentoside, along with other flavonoid glycosides. The polyphenols are probably responsible for the observed activities. The reaction of 2-amino-3-cyano-4,5,6,7-tetrahydrobenzo[b]thiophene with ethyl cyanoacetate gave 2-cyano-N-(3-cyano-4,5,6,7-tetrahydrobenzo[b]thiophen-2-yl)-acetamide. The latter was used to synthesize different heterocyclic derivatives comprising thiophene, thiazole, pyrazole, pyridine, pyrimidine, and coumarin rings. The mechanistic and synthetic pathways depended on regioselective attack and/or cyclization by the cyanoacetamido moiety in the key precursor on various chemical reagents. The competition of the reaction pathways including dipolar cyclization, dinucleophilic-bielectrophilic attack, β-attack, Gewald-type attack, and condensation reactions led to the diversity of the synthesized products. The antitumor activities of the synthesized products were studied and evaluated. Most of the compounds revealed high inhibitory effects when screened in vitro for their antiproliferative activity. Three human cancer cell lines, namely, breast adenocarcinoma (MCF-7), non-small cell lung cancer (NCI-H460) and CNS cancer (SF-268) were used in the screening tests. The simplicity of the synthetic procedures which mainly involved one-pot reactions under mild reaction conditions, the convenience of yield production and the diversity of the reactive sites in the produced systems play a valuable role for further heterocyclic transformations and further biological investigations. Acinetobacter baumannii is a Gram-negative coccobacillus responsible for severe hospital-acquired infections, particularly in intensive care units (ICUs). The current study was designed to characterize the virulence traits of biofilm-forming carbapenem-resistant A. baumannii causing pneumonia in ICU patients using a Galleria mellonella model. Two hundred and thirty patients with hospital-acquired or ventilator-associated pneumonia were included in our study. Among the total isolates, A. baumannii was the most frequently isolated etiological agent in ICU patients with pneumonia (54/165, 32.7%). All A. baumannii isolates were subjected to antimicrobial susceptibility testing by the Kirby–Bauer disk diffusion method, while the minimum inhibitory concentrations of imipenem and colistin were estimated using the broth microdilution technique. The biofilm formation activity of the isolates was tested using the microtiter plate technique. Biofilm quantification showed that 61.1% (33/54) of the isolates were strong biofilm producers, while 27.7% (15/54) and 11.1% (6/54) showed moderate or weak biofilm production. By studying the prevalence of carbapenemases-encoding genes among isolates, blaOXA-23-like was positive in 88.9% of the isolates (48/54). The BlaNDM gene was found in 27.7% of the isolates (15/54 isolates). BlaOXA-23-like and blaNDM genes coexisted in 25.9% (14/54 isolates). Bap and blaPER-1 genes, the biofilm-associated genes, coexisted in 5.6% (3/54) of the isolates. For in vivo assessment of A. baumannii pathogenicity, a Galleria mellonella survival assay was used. G. mellonella survival was statistically different between moderate and poor biofilm producers (p < 0.0001). The killing effect of the strong biofilm-producing group was significantly higher than that of the moderate and poor biofilm producers (p < 0.0001 for each comparison). Simple Summary: The excessive production of reactive oxygen species (ROS) in cryopreservation and post-thawing affects sperm quality and subsequent fertilizing ability. This study evaluated the efficacy of Turraea fischeri leaf extract for maintaining the viability of cryopreserved goat sperm. Ejaculated semen was collected from 5 mature Baladi bucks (50–60 kg, 2–4 years of age) and those samples with mass motility ≥ 70% and sperm concentration ≥ 2.5 × 109/mL were selected, pooled, and divided into 4 aliquots. Each aliquot was diluted in Tris-citric-soybean lecithin extender containing a different concentration of T. fischeri leaf extract (0, 125, 250, or 375 µg/mL). Treated semen samples were cooled to 5 °C, transferred to 0.25-mL French straws, and stored in liquid nitrogen (LN2) at −196 °C. After thawing, membrane integrity was examined by transmission electron microscopy, apoptotic activity by Annexin/propidium iodide staining and flow cytometry, and both enzyme activities and antioxidant capacity by spectroscopic assays. The leaf extract at 375 µg/mL significantly improved semen quality as indicated by enhanced total antioxidant capacity, reduced H2O2 concentration, a greater proportion of structurally intact motile sperm, and concomitant reductions in apoptosis and necrosis. The extract also significantly increased the proportion of sperm with a contiguous plasma membrane and intact acrosome (p < 0.05). Simple Summary: Sustainable production of livestock farms mainly depends on efficient management and precise decisions. One of the most important managemental decisions that play a great role in the continuation of production and profitability is culling. Excluding non-efficient animals from the production cycle is a very critical decision as a wrong and aggressive culling decision may cause a certain loss in farm profitability by increasing costs of replacement. Identifying factors that affect culling risk can aid breeders in creating suitable interventions to maintain productive animals. In this study, logistic regression analysis was used to study the pattern of culling risk factors in primiparous Nubian goats. The effect of ten independent factors including season, reproductive traits, and milk production traits on the percentage of voluntary culling risk was studied. The presented outcomes clearly indicated that birth weight, total litter size at birth, litter size at weaning, number of kids dead, total milk yield, average daily milk yield, lactation period, and age at first kidding had significant effects on culling risk, while both the birth season of the dam and kidding season did not exhibit significant effects on culling risk. In practice, monitoring of traits that indicate milk imbalance and older age at first kidding could promote identifying goats at high risk of being culled. The purpose of the current study is to reconnoiter the relationships between season (birth season, BS, and kidding season, KS), reproductive traits (birth weight, BW; total litter size at birth, TLS; litter size at weaning, LSW; the number of kids dead, NKD, and; age at first kidding, AFK) and milk production (total milk yield, TMY; average daily milk yield, DMY, and; lactation period, LP), with voluntary culling risk in primiparous Zaraibi goats. Records of 637 primiparous does were collected during the period 2008–2014 from a herd of Zaraibi goats raised at the El-Serw Experimental Station, which belongs to the Animal Production Research Institute. Our data revealed that the voluntary and involuntary culling was 89.12% and 10.88%, respectively. Moreover, the BW, TLS, LSW, NKD, TMY, DMY, LP, AFK had significant effects on culling risk (p < 0.05), while both the season of birth and kidding did not exhibit significant effects on culling risk. The thinnest goats at birth were more likely to be culled compared to those with body energy reserves. Does with weaned twins and triplets kids were 9.5% (OR = 0.905) and 43% (OR = 0.570), respectively less likely to be culled compared to those with singles. Likewise, does with dead twins and triplets kids had 2.566 and 2.138 times, respectively higher odds of culling compared to those with singles. Interestingly, culling risk decreased with 74.6% (OR = 0.254), 79.8% (OR = 0.202), and 75.6% (OR = 0.244) in does with TMY, LP, and DMY more than 230 kg, 260 days, and 0.800 kg, respectively compared to their counterparts (less than 185 kg, 240 day, and 0.500 kg, respectively). Moreover, culling risk increased steadily along with increasing AFK; the animals with an AFK of more than 24 months had 2.974 times higher odds of culling compared to those with an AFK that varied between 22 and 24 months. It could be concluded that the most critical issues for higher culling probability in dairy goats were attributed to the lower TMY (<185 kg) and DMY (<0.5 kg), and shorter LP (<245 days), as well as older age at first kidding (>2 years). Simple Summary: The association of the risk factors, serum constituents related to abortion and calving rates were investigated. Multiparous buffaloes were less likely to abort and more likely to calving than primiparous. Body condition score (BCS) was a risk factor regarding abortion and calving; the thinnest buffaloes were more likely to abort and less likely to calving than those with body energy reserves. In comparison with the spring season, aborting probability decreased 49.7% the odds ratio (OR = 0.503), while the chance of calving increased 72.1% (OR = 1.721) during winter. The parity was another significant factor related to abortion and calving rates; multiparous buffaloes were less likely to abort and more likely to calving than primiparous. Dry buffaloes had 88.2% (OR = 0.118) lesser odds of abortion and six times (OR = 6.012) more likely to give birth than those lactating. The sex of the fetus was not a risk factor regarding abortion or calving. Other variables significantly associated with abortion rate were glucose and copper in the sera of aborted buffaloes were significantly higher (p < 0.05), and those of urea, uric acid, total protein, total cholesterol, phosphorus, magnesium and iron were significantly (p < 0.05) lower than a normal pregnancy. Our work here is to propose a novel technique by which chaos complete and phase synchronizations can be accomplished via a low-cost scheme. We call the proposed technique a "single-state feedback track synchronization control algorithm". A single-state feedback track synchronization control algorithm is designed so that both complete and phase synchronizations can be accomplished using the same controller. Complete synchronization between two chaotic systems means complete symmetry between them, but phase synchronization means complete symmetry with a phase shift. In addition, the proposed method is applied to the synchronization of two identical chaotic Lorenz models. The effectiveness and robustness of the proposed algorithm is well illustrated via exhaustive numerical simulation experiments based on the Matlab toolbox of the powerful genetic algorithm. In this work, meshless methods based on a radial basis function (RBF) are applied for the solution of two-dimensional steady-state heat conduction problems with nonlocal multi-point boundary conditions (NMBC). These meshless procedures are based on the multiquadric (MQ) RBF and its modified version (i.e., integrated MQ RBF). The meshless method is extended to the NMBC and compared with the standard collocation method (i.e., Kansa's method). In extended methods, the interior and the boundary solutions are approximated with a sum of RBF series, while in Kansa's method, a single series of RBF is considered. Three different sorts of solution domains are considered in which Dirichlet or Neumann boundary conditions are specified on some part of the boundary while the unknown function values of the remaining portion of the boundary are related to a discrete set of interior points. The influences of NMBC on the accuracy and condition number of the system matrix associated with the proposed methods are investigated. The sensitivity of the shape parameter is also analyzed in the proposed methods. The performance of the proposed approaches in terms of accuracy and efficiency is confirmed on the benchmark problems. In this article, we take into account the (2 + 1) -dimensional stochastic Chiral nonlinear Schrödinger equation (2D-SCNLSE) in the Itô sense by multiplicative noise. We acquired trigonometric, rational and hyperbolic stochastic exact solutions, using three vital methods, namely Riccati–Bernoulli sub-ODE, He's variational and sine–cosine methods. These solutions may be applicable in various applications in applied science. The proposed methods are direct, efficient and powerful. Distributed systems provide smart functionality to everyday objects with the help of wireless sensors using the internet. Since the last decade, the industry is struggling to develop efficient and intelligent protocols to integrate a huge number of smart objects in distributed computing environments. However, the main challenge for smart and distributed system designers lies in the integration of a large number of heterogeneous components for faster, cheaper, and more efficient functionalities. To deal with this issue, practitioners are using edge computing along with server and desktop technology for the development of smart applications by using Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) where every smart object offers its functionality as a service, enabling other objects to interact with them dynamically. In order to make such a system, researchers have considered context-awareness and Quality of Service (QoS) attributes of device services. However, context modeling is a complicated task since it could include everything around the applications. Moreover, it is also important to consider non-functional interactions that may have an impact on the behavior of the complete system. In this regard, various research dimensions are explored. However, rich context-aware modeling, QoS, user priorities, grouping, and value type direction along with uncertainty are not considered properly while modeling of incomplete or partial domain knowledge during ontology engineering, resulting in low accuracy of results. In this paper, we present a semantic and logic-based formal framework (hybrid) to find the best service among many candidate services by considering the limitations of existing frameworks. Simple Summary: In rabbit farms, artificial insemination is usually accepted using semen preserved around 18 °C. However, the use of cryopreserved rabbit semen is limited, due to excess oxidative stress and produce sperm dysfunction. The advancements in nanotechnology tools have allowed molecular-based targeting of cells through effective, safe, and biocompatible magnetic nanoparticles with promising potentials in reproductive sciences. In these regards, the current work aimed to explore the potential role if the effect of curcumin nanoparticles supplementation in semen extender on post/thawed rabbit sperm quality. Results revealed that the CUNPs (1.5 µg/mL) showed superior enhancements impacts for the post-thawing sperm motion and redox status, as well as a significant reduction in apoptotic and necrotic sperm cells. This confirmed the constructive application of nanoparticle to enhance the cryopreserved rabbit's sperm function. The cryopreservation process adversely affects sperm function and quality traits, causing some changes at biochemical and structural levels, due to mechanical, thermal, osmotic, and oxidative damage. Supplementation with curcumin nanoparticles could prevent and even revert this effect and could enhance the post/thawed sperm quality in the rabbit. The study amid to explore the effect of curcumin (CU) and curcumin nanoparticles (CUNPs) supplementation in semen extender on post/thawed rabbit sperm quality. Twelve fertile, healthy rabbit bucks were included, and the ejaculates were collected using artificial vaginas. Rabbit pooled semen was cryopreserved in tris-yolk fructose (TYF) extender without any supplement (control group) or extender supplemented with CU at levels of 0.5, 1 or 1.5 µg/mL (CU0.5, CU1.0, and CU1.5, respectively) or CUNPs at levels of 0.5, 1, 1.5 (CUNPs0.5, CUNPs1.0, and CUNPs1.5, respectively) and was packed in straws (0.25 mL) and stored in liquid nitrogen (−196 °C). Results revealed that CUNPs1.5 had a positive influence (p < 0.05) on post-thawing sperm progressive motility, viability, and membrane integrity as compared with the other groups. Percentages of dead sperm, abnormalities, early apoptotic, apoptotic, and necrotic sperm cells reduced (p < 0.05) in CUNPs1.5 as compared to other treatments. Using 1.5 µg/mL of CUNPs significantly improved total antioxidant capacity (TAC), GPx, while MDA and POC reduced (p < 0.05) in CU1.5 in comparison with other groups. SOD values were enhanced (p < 0.05) in CUNPs1.0 and CUNPs1.5 in relation with other treatments. Conclusively, the addition of curcumin and its nanoparticles to the extender can improve the post-thawed quality of rabbit sperm via redox signaling and reduce the apoptosis process. In this paper, we establish exact solutions for the non-linear coupled KdV equations. The exp-function method is used to construct the solitary travelling wave solutions for these equations. The numerical adaptive moving mesh PDEs (MMPDEs) method is also implemented in order to solve the proposed coupled KdV equations. The achieved results may be applicable to some plasma environments, such as ionosphere plasma. Some numerical simulations compared with the exact solutions are provided to illustrate the validity of the proposed methods. Furthermore, the modulational instability is analyzed based on the standard linear-stability analysis. In this study, a novel series of 1,2-disubstituted benzo[d]imidazoles was rationally designed as VEGFR-2 inhibitors targeting hepatocellular carcinoma. Our design strategy is two-fold; it aimed first at studying the effect of replacing the 5-methylfuryl moiety of the well-known antiangiogenic 2-furylbenzimidazoles with an isopropyl moiety on the VEGFR-2 inhibitory activity and the cytotoxic activity. Our second objective was to further optimize the structures of the benzimidazole derivatives through elongation of the side chains at their one-position for the design of more potent type II-like VEGFR-2 inhibitors. The designed 1,2-disubstituted benzimidazoles demonstrated potent cytotoxic activity against the HepG2 cell line, reaching IC50 = 1.98 μM in comparison to sorafenib (IC50 = 10.99 μM). In addition, the synthesized compounds revealed promising VEGFR-2 inhibitory activity in the HepG2 cell line, e.g., compounds 17a and 6 showed 82% and 80% inhibition, respectively, in comparison to sorafenib (% inhibition = 92%). Studying the effect of 17a on the HepG2 cell cycle demonstrated that 17a arrested the cell cycle at the G2/M phase and induced a dose-dependent apoptotic effect. Molecular docking studies of the synthesized 1,2-disubstituted benzimidazoles in the VEGFR-2 active site displayed their ability to accomplish the essential hydrogen bonding and hydrophobic interactions for optimum inhibitory activity. In this paper, a chaotic quaternion autonomous nonlinear structure is introduced and intends to be a contribution. It is the first nonlinear dynamical system with quaternion variables to be studied in the literature. With nine dimensions, the new system is a high-dimensional one. Several vital characteristics and features of this model are investigated, such as its Hamiltonian, symmetry, signal flow graph, dissipation, equilibriums and their stability, Lyapunov exponents, Lyapunov dimension, bifurcation diagrams, and chaotic behavior. A circuit implementation is designed to realize the new system, and a scheme is designed to achieve anti-anticipating synchronization (AAS) of two identical chaotic attractors with quaternion variables based on a Lyapunov function and active control. The concept of AAS is yet to be explored in the literature. A simulation experiment is designed and executed to illustrate the effectiveness of the acquired results. After synchronization, numerical outcomes are planned to explain the status variables and errors of these chaotic attractors to prove that AAS is achieved. The secure communication problem is studied based on the obtained events of the AAS of two identical nonlinear Lorenz systems with quaternion variables. AAS connecting the drive and response systems in chaotic systems with quaternion variables is the key to achieving communication. Signal encryption and restoration are simulated numerically.
